ECC6 - Retail CO-PA merchadise categogy

Dear all,
Please help, I implementing SAP-Retail ECC6, in CO-PA there are several characteristics given by the system <e.g. Customer, Product, Sales Order, Sales Ord. Item, Company Code, Site, Sales Org.> but I want "merchandise category" value which is maintain in artical master (masterial master) to fill into PA screen.
Not sure how can I config to get the value, or else I should define "Merchandise Category" as a user defined charcteristic value and set derivation rule "table lookup" get the value from material master.

Do I add BI_CONT to ERP?

Dear Experts
I've been given the task to install BI on our demo system (IT scenario Enterprise Reporting, Query, and Analysis). Everything is hosted on a single machine that consist of one AS ABAP instance with ERP ECC6 (Retail) and one JAVA instance with EP and EPC incl. GRC AC. The JAVA side is pretty clear. I need to add usage type BI Java.
The ABAP side is more unclear. Do I add the BI_CONT to the ERP instance? Or do I have an option in SAPInst to install a fresh ABAP instanace, and then add BI_CONT?
If both options are possible, which one is to prefer? If the latter, where in SAPInst do I find the choise to add a new ABAP instance?
The system is running on Windows Server 2003 x64 with SQL Server 2005.

Hi,
As per My understanding you are having ERP (Retail) i.e normal ERP system converted to IS (Industry Specific) so, you can not use that system.
Better to install a new instance i.e nw2004s and go for BI_CONT add-on that will be better in your senario.

We are going to upgrade our SAP system from 4.6C to ECC6 for SD/MM/WM/FI/CO.
We plan to implement just after this upgrade SAP Retail for fashion as our core system.
One of the advises we get is to activate a Retail parameter during the upgrade: it will ease the further implementation.
We have to analyse the impact on our upgrade project:
- what is this parameter ?
- are there any impacts on the existing modules ?
- the standard MM module is compatible with the Retail MM module ?
- is there any particular need in term of architecture we have to plan by activating the Retail parameter ?
In fact, why should we activate this parameter during the upgrade and not after the upgrade ?
Is there somebody who can help me ?

We are running ECC6.0 , Please sugegst how to activate IS-Retail in ECC6.0.
In Service market place i can find SAP-Retail master guide , it does not talk about IS-Reatil activation.
Please let me know , how to activate this.

Retail Information System (RIS) in Ecc6

Hello Experts!
We will migrate Retail from 4.7 to Ecc6.
I would like to know if RIS, retail information system, still exists in Ecc6, and if someone has further experience of it.

The RIS, as Retail Information System, is part of the Retail add-on : IS-R.
"As of ERP 6.0 those addons are no more special addons but they are retrofitted (integrated) into ERP 6.0"
Sorry, I don't really understand. Do you mean Retail was a IS-R and it's now called EA-Retail ?
What is the impact on RIS and where can I find the infromation written black on white?

Idocs and rfcs not found in IS-Retail ecc6.0!!

The idoc name was written wrong in the PDF manula by SAP. Moreover servce pack ugradation is necessary!!

Sale order costing in Retail Business

Dear Experts,
We are supporting Retaill based clinet and also that same client using IS RETAIL ECC6.0. Now client is doing retail business as well as S&D also. Business needs that they want to see sale order costing for every trading goods ,which same sold to external customers through S&D customers.
1. Is it possible to get sale order wise costing for retail trading article (HAWA) type.
2.How can i make cost sheet for trading goods
3.How can i share or apportion palnned cost to sale order
Please support this appreciate and pls.forward user docs and customization settings for sale order costing.

Article Deletion in SAP Retail

What is the process for deleting an article and then archiving the article in SAP Retail ECC6.0? So far what I have is to:
1. Go to MM46 and find layouts for article
2. Go to WLWBN and Delete Assignments
3. Go to Assortment in WSP6 and delist from DC and stores.
4. Stop replenishment and procurement using MM42 go to Logistics -- General Control Param -- Article Status -- status block article
5. Go to ME15 and Mark Info Recs for deletion
6. WRF_DIS_SEL - Put in Article and then click "Client_Wide Article Discontinuation" to get green button. Select All - discontinue
I need to know what is wrong with the above process, or what do I need to add to the above process? The issue is that we will go into SARA and try to delete the article and the process ends up not being able to see the article for deletion. We have no activity against the article and no inventory for that article. So there must be something I am missing here.

      SAP ECC6.0 retail for provogue implementation, I am submitting the queries, can u please make solutions for all, these are the pending queries for provogue. Which canu2019t able to go for live? Please your people can support for the issues and make successful for live.
1)     Article scanning is not available in Goods Issue. (VL01N).
REA: - when we are creating the delivery in VL01N at that time provogue needs to scan the articles. I donu2019t know exactly how to do in functional side can u please explain whether it should be technical or functional, if it is functional please let me clarify.
2. If BO is created for X article & we are creating SO for X & Y then it is accepting.
Rea:- suppose I am going to create sales order with reference to bulk order. In item level all articles are copied from bulk order to sales order screen, if I can give manual article to input in sales order screen system is allowing to enter the article. It should not allow the manual article over there. Please suggest me how can I do that?.
3.     We can not cancel BO or SO for the entire article at a time. We need to give reasons separately for diff. articles.
Rea: - if I can cancel the sales order. in the line item reason/rejection filled every time I have to fill. I need a solution for this .i want to cancel full line items at a time. I donu2019t want to click the reason for every time. Can you please give me the best possible way for this ?.

If the scanning is for a serial number, the config is done by a funcutional consultant only. You need to configure for serial number management and Scanning of an article for ser no has to be done befor the PGI after delivery.
Regarding your query for reason for rejection, i suppose you can give the reason for rejection at the header level so that the complete order is rejected.

Since IS-Retail is an Industrial Solution package which was built above the Baseline package,all the Business processes which were there in 4.7 is supported by IS - Retail. You can access the Retail Menu in W10T and S000 for your normal Menu in ECC6..

IS Retail and Real Estate in a single instance possible ?

Dear Experts,
Presently we are running Wholesale and Retail business in the same production system- ECC6.0 EHP4
In forthcoming we are planing to bring IS Retail Real Estate also in the same system.. In this scenario i have some doubts Please help me to get it clarify.
1. For Activating or Bring IS Retail Real Estate Module is there any additional user cost or license is required ?
2. Is it possible to activate two industry solution in the same box ?
3. If yes, Will Retail and Real Estate or any existing Functional modules affect?
4. Normally what is the time frame for implementing the Real Estate Module for GCC country zone.
5. Real Estate is a new installation or Add-on ?

POS interface without IS Retail

Hello everyone,
We have ECC6.0 but do not have IS retail. There are some retail business in the organization, so we are trying to build a POS interface with development. Does anyone has experience with that? Does anybody know how the AR should be posted with all the sales data uploaded from POS?

The objective can be achieved by using SAP Middleware and you have to define Business Object, IDOC, BDOC, and sites and you have to activate all parameters as same as in both Source system and Target system,
Also try Groupware, FTP Server, TREX, for further compatibility as per your business process.

How to install IS for retail

Dear experts:
I want to install a SAP IS for retail system, but unfortunanely I was confused with the documents in SMP. I can't find a guide with how to set up a SAP for retail system like IS for AFS.
So can you exprts tell me how to do this? Is the retail system installed by import some packages into existing SAP ECC6 system, or only activate some component in the system or do some configuration in the system? What's the packages or how to do? Or can you tell me the link of the guide or notes number?

Campaign Management - Retail Promotion Integration

Hi CRM Gurus,
I am working on a CRM implementation project for a retail company.
They already have SAP IS Retail ECC6. They use the SAP IS retail system to create promotions in SAP.
CRM system will be used for campaign management. The campaigns in CRM need to be linked to promotions in SAP IS Retail.
Any sugessions on how we can achieve this.
