ECC6 upg error
Dear Friends,
We are doing an ECC6 upgrade and the upgrade has come to a stop due to errors in phase DIFFEXPGENI.
I found the below errors in the upg log:
4 ETW000 [dbtrtab ,03908] ***LOG BY0=>ORA-00604: error occurred a
t
recursive SQL level 1
4 ETW000 ORA-30511: invalid DDL operation in
system triggers
4 ETW000 ORA-06512: at line 13
100 0.575085
4 ETW000 ORA-00001: unique constraint violated
Please help.
Hi,
Please check if you have set the Oracle recyclebin parameter. In Oracle 10.2, you must not set it. Restart the upgrade and see if this solves the issue.
Cheers

SAPInst ECC6.0 - Error during phase "Create Java Users"
Hello,
I am currently installing ECC6.0 IDES with windows server 2003 & MaxDB.
I am getting an error during the "Create Java Users" phase. The initial error stated that the user SAPJSF already existed. During retry a different error came up - that the user SAPJSF has no password.
Can anyone advise what I can do here to resolve this problem?

ESS Who's Who (ECC6, WD) - Error with telephone direct dial link
Hi there -
We are on ECC6, NW 2004s (SP14). I have the following field in our Who's Who 'Output field detail' -
SYHR_A_P0105_AF_TEL_NR - Area code + local access code
Also in config, I have the checkbox DESELECTED for 'Allow direct telephone dialing.'
Issue with Who's Who service:
The telephone number is displayed as a hyperlink. When I click the link, I get the following message: 'Search resulted more than 1500 records, Only first 1500 records is displayed.'
Then if I click the link again, I get a dump: 500 Internal Error,
com.sap.tc.webdynpro.modelimpl.dynamicrfc.WDDynamicRFCExecuteException: Specify a server name , error key: RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE
Does anyone know how to get rid of the link - direct dialing is not a requirement for my client. Also - the first error message makes no sense. Any help would be greatly appreciated - I am stumped.
Regards,
Karena quick note from a call we opened this week
...More significantly is that SAP_ESS is only one part of
the ESS ERP2005 product - if you look at the stack
schedule the next stack is due out Week 48 - last
week of November 2007... -
ECC6 - PR05 - Error while initiating travel form
Hello Everybody,
With the new version ECC6, I have this error message "Error while initiating travel form" when I launch the results with the PR05 transaction.
Thanks in advance for your help
Best RegardsWe can not have PDF forms since it requires Java stack which is not
installed on the system. we looked into the option of
changing config to use the old ABAP form instead.
We changed the config from 0 to 1 to desactivate the PDF form and issue is resolved.
Thanks.

Hi all
I met a problem when installing ECC6.0 SR2 with Oracle on Win 2003 - System ask me to install Oracle software fist. Install master didn't appear the screen to ask Database CDs. I've installed ECC6.0 several times and everytime it will automatically create database instance before create SAP system. But this time why need me manually to install oracle first?
Could you please give me some suggestion? Many thanks!

Because of Oracle or because of Windows???
How can you be like this? Half of the SAP customers are using that combination...

Hi Team,
This is upgrade project,
In 4.6 Version code like this
DO j TIMES VARYING XREPID FROM REPi(1) NEXT REPk(1).
MOVE '+' TO XREPID.
In ECC6.0 Version this code does not work.i got error message like this
Could not specify the access range automatically. This means that you need a RANGE addition.
Please Tell me how to solve this
Regards
RajHi Raj,
Read the documentation of the DO-ENDDO statement which will give you a clear explination as :
do 2 times VARYING dobj FROM dobj1 NEXT dobj2 [RANGE range]
In Unicode programs , dobj, dobj1 and dobj2 have to becompatible . Moreover, in unicode programs, dobj1 and dobj2 have to be either structure components that belong to the same structure, or, part areas of the same data object specified through offset/length

I am getting the below error when i tried using "sapinst SAPINST_SKIP_ERRORSTEP=true"
"guiengine: call to bind() for socket 21200 1780 failed . No error

1 ETP199 ######################################Refer to note 686357 and repair the table pools like mentioned in the solution there.
According to the import log the system decided that theses pool tables
GLSP, GLTP had to be converted because it found a difference between the table definition being imported and that that existed in the system.
Because conversion of tablesu2019 pools is not possible in general, these 2 tables were marked with status error in the control table TBATG. Any subsequent restart of the import now fails because there are TBATG entries in status error.
So when GLTP and GLSP are consistent after running RATPONTC (DDIC, NAMETAB and DB level)you can remove the entries for GLTP and GLSP from table TBATG and the import should proceed now. -
Equivalent statements in ECC6.0
Hi Experts,
We are in process of upgrading our system from 4.6c to ecc6.0 .While upgrading i encountered an issue
where in i came across a statement ."RECORD_TAB[] = T_OUTPUT[].Record_tab and t_output are of different structures.
data : begin of t_output occurs 0 ,
vbeln like vbrk-vbeln,
fkart like vbrk-fkart,
posnr like vbap-posnr,
erdat like vbrk-erdat,
netwr like vbrp-netwr,

ename2 like pa0001-ename,
kunnr like kna1-kunnr,
pernr_zi like vbpa-pernr,
pernr_zj like vbpa-pernr,
end of t_output.
and Record_tab is of type SEAHLPRES(Search help result Structure). The above statement runs without errors in 4.6c version but throwing an error when executed in ECC6.0(Error is record_tab and t
output are mutually not convertible .In unicode programsboth must have the same structurelayout as toutput, independent of the length of unicode character)
.Please suggest on how can i replace the above statement in ECC6.0.
Regards,
Lakshman.Hi Lakshman,
try to use this statement may be some corrections are required.
DATA: lv_netwr(21) type c.

CONCATENATE t_output-vbeln t_output-fkart t_output-posnr t_output-erdat lv_netwr t_output-mcod1 t_output-vbeln_c t_output-ktext t_output-ename1 t_output-arktx t_output-ename2 t_output-kunnr t_output-pernr_zi t_output-pernr_zj INTO wa_seahlpres-string.

Error by Step 'Import ABAP' (SolMng 7.01 MaxDB/Linux 64bit)
Hello
I'm Installing the Solution Manager on Red Hat 5 (Linux x86_64) with MaxDB 7.7.
The installation stops by the step "Import ABAP".
Using the User <sid>adm I get:

This is exactly the same error as in the installation protocol.
The error is similar to
ECC6 Install Error at "Import ABAP" step
but on Linux and not on Windows.
I also installed the latest R3load, but I get the same error.
Any hint would be appreciated.

Output chinese character to CSV file in UNIX
Hi
I encountered ABAP dump whenever output chinese character to CSV file in UNIX in ECC6. Error show as
"At the conversion of a text from codepage '4102' to codepage '1100':
- a character was found that cannot be displayed in one of the two
codepages;
- or it was detected that this conversion is not supported"
The program with coding of statement OPEN DATASET xxxxx FOR OUTPUT IN TEXT MODE ENCODING NON-UNICODE. Reason to output to OPEN statement to non-unicode as users would like to open the csv file thru Excel directly. They do not wish to open the text file in Excel. Can Experts please share with me how to overcome the problem?
Thanks
Kang RingMay be you could give a try with the following code and check
OPEN DATASET xxxxx FOR OUTPUT IN TEXT MODE ENCODING NON-UNICODE CODEPAGE '4103'.
