Is there any check list to see if every thing is ok or not
    thanks,

    Hi Naveen,
I think there is no such check list for post upgradation, but you can check these SAP artifacts which talks about the same:

  • Upgrade check list

    Hi All,
We are planning to upgrade to SP12..I would like to if there is a post upgrade check list that needs to be checked for after the upgrade is done??
    -Teresa

right now, i would not recommend to apply SP13. We've got some OSS open with SAP as it is really buggy. It is the buggiest XI patch ever seen since the feature pack....
regarding post installation steps, i always do the following things:
    - check every page in RWB if it is still working, if necessary some services in SICF need reactivation
    - check for status of components in component monitoring
    - check for status of adapters in adapter monitoring
    - check logs and traces for anything unusual
    - check logon to IBD, IBC and SLD
    Best regards

  • No upgrade check query for B1 8.8 in Note 1000846

    Hi Experts,
I see that there is no upgrade check for B1 8.8 in SAP note 1000846 untul present. Is it difficult to develop it or just use existing one ? I am not sure if we can go on to upgrade without the query of upgrade check.
    Steve

    Dear Steve,
In Business One 8.8 version Pre-Upgrade checks are a part of the Upgrade Wizard. SAP Note [1357462|https://websmp130.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1odSZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/sapnotes/index2.htm?numm=1357462] encloses all the SAP Notes for pre-upgrade checks. Always refer to this collective SAP Note for the latest pre-upgrade check list and details.
For more information regarding Pre-Upgrade Checks under 8.8 please refer to the "Upgrade Wizard Online Help" or to the "Administrator's Guide 8.8 SQL", which can be found on the Documentation Resource Centre on the Portal.
    hope it helps,

  • FCH1 - Check List No data found

    Dear SAP Experts,
We are in the middle of technical upgrade to ECC6. I tested the "FCH1 -
Display Check Information" in ECC6, from the menu bar I select "Check -
List" to display the list of checks. The system displays “no data found”.
However in 4.7 R3, when I perform the same function, system displays
    list of checks.
There are actually many checks have been issued in 4.7 R3, any idea how to fix
    this issue in ECC6?
Thank you very much in advance for your kind assistance.

    =====================
My question is that we will be using the downtime minimised strategy, and thus our users are still productivily operating on the production system.  We will run the CHECKS phase several times leading up to a day or so prior to commencing the PRE-PROCESSING phases (of which the system is still productive), with the DOWNTIME phases beginning at the close of business on the "Friday Go-Live" evening weekend.
Now prior to the downtime weekend since our users are still processing transactions, how do we manage these BW queues?
You can't move past the CHECKS phase while there are open entries waiting to be extracted, yet people are still processing transactions generating these BW queue entries ...
How do you manage this so that you can proceed past the CHECKs phase, complete PRE-PROCESSING, and then obviously clear the queus one last time at the start of the DOWNTIME phases????
    Cheers
    Shaun

    > How do you manage this so that you can proceed past the CHECKs phase, complete PRE-PROCESSING, and then obviously clear the queus one last time at the start of the DOWNTIME phases????
We did this "manually" - means we emptied the queues when the phase requested it and we did it again just shortly before downtime.

  • Steps  and Check list SNC implementation

    Dear Experts.
Believe that you'll spend some time to put your precious quotes on this query.
    1. How SNC implementation should be done, what are the steps to be carried out?
    2. What are the Pre-requisites and check list for implementation?
    3. What testing needed to be done after implementation.
    Thanks in advance
    Vinoth

    Hi Vinoth,
    Responsibilities:
    BASIS / Security :
    1. System Upgrade / Installation
    2. Post upgrade activities like SPAU (if its upgrade), notes that are required to be implemented.
    3. Email / SMS set-up (Exchange infrastructure)
    4. Work-out the authorizations that need to be provided for different Business roles
    XI / PI :
    1. Download the content for latest SNC release
    2. Set-up communication between ERP <> XI <> SNC
    3. Check SLDCHECK
    4. Configuration scenario e.g. Sender Agreement, Receiver Agreement, Receiver Determination, Interface Determination, etc.
    Functional :
    1. Master Data set-up
    2. Required customizing
Hopefully, this should give an overall idea.

  • I need the check list for SOLMAN implementation

    Hi gurus ,
i need the check  list for solution manager implementation and what are the things to be discuss with the client , i am new to SOLMAN, i have to do this by the evening , any one can help me out
    Cheers
    Gopal.rao

    Hi Gopal,
I am not sure if this thread of yours is in continuation of the other thread you have started which has been replied by two other Forum members.
The checklist depends upon which Scenario(s) of SolMan you are trying to implement.
    - Implementation/ Upgrade of ERP systems
    - Service Desk
    - Change Request Monitoring
    - Diagnostics
    - Solution Monitoring (includes BPM/ Interface monitoring)
    - Delivery of SAP Services (EWA, .....)
Unless you specify the scenario you are seeking information on, it is difficult for anyone to pose a satisfactory reply.

  • Server Migration check list

    Dear BW Experts,
We are going to do an SAP BW(3.5 Version) offline for backup (from existing server), hardware migration(new server), followed by domain name changes (IP Address Change). New Server will be brought up for Oracle / BW re-configurations to update the new domain name. Please help me to prepare the migration check list & some documents about BW migration(Not hardware level, Domain Name & IP Address) . Thanks.
    Regards,
    RR.

    Hi,
Points to be kept, (not a version migration) Migrating from one system to other
    1. Review the objects in both the systems and ensure they dont clash or overlap.
    2. May be they had different source systems and you need to carefully look at all the source system dependent objects and re assign the source system.
    3. Performing transports will be the one of the options for the move; in that case collect the objects in logical order starting with the info objects, data targets, info sources, update rules finally queries, roles, workbooks.
    4. Review the master data and also the ODS to ensure the data dont overwrite; better to have a system identifier for the master data objects.
    5. For the transaction data, approach will be to go with the EDW approach
    6. For the same of reconciliation purposes, suggest to keep the Regional system, if exists, within the same region system separate and for reporting purposes, use infosets and multi cubes rather than loading data to the same data targets.

  • Upgrade Check

I am installing acrobat pro 9 on a new laptop as the old one is no longer in use. I followed all the steps and the upgrade check is looking for the serial number of the original product hwich I do not have. Is there any way around this

    Hi Paavo,
IT would be cool to have some kind update checking tool for cleaning those button items away.
It seems that APEX5 doesn't logically show the button items in the search for the Clear Items because there is nothing to 'clear' in the buttons itself.
In APEX4.2 it works and speedy developer is happy to list all items in the page for Clearing the cache and never pays attention that the list of items contains rubbish.
Actually we do have such a tool, it's called Advisor. You can call it for a specific page (from the Utilities menu of Page Designer) or for all pages (Application Builder -> pick application -> Utilities -> Advisor). Make sure that the check 'Declarative References of Application Items, Page Items, Columns or Interactive Report' is checked under 'Checks to Perform'.

  • Installing Existing Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro on new computer - The "Upgrade Check"

I recently purchased a new computer (Windows 8) to replace my old computer (Windows XP).  I had purchased and installed Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 on the old computer in September 2009.  At that time I had the serial number of the previous edition of Adobe Acrobat to load into the Upgrade Check screen when installing Acrobat 9.  I just deactivated the Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 from the Windows XP machine and downloaded it to the Windows 8 machine and the install went well (still had the serial numbers for the Acrobat 9), until after the reboot when the "Upgrade Check" screen popped up.  I don't have the slightest clue what the serial number for the previous version of Acrobat was, I don't even recall what version of Acrobat I had.  How can I continue to install my Acrobat Pro 9?  I have been using it successfully for three plus years!
    Thanks.

If you no longer have the AA7 information, you will have to contact Adobe to determine the software key you had before to allow the installation. Hopefully you had registered your previous product or at least the installation.
