ECCN number of Berkely DB package
Can anybody knows the ECCN number for the BDB package? This is required for export control of BDB software in our product.
Dear Sir,
Thank you very much for your replay.
Here is the below information you have asked about the db what we are using in our product.
We are using bdb "db-4.5.20" package with AES encryption.
We are not using commercial license sir.
Please let us know the ECCN number for this package.
Thanking you
Regard's

I'm on vacation and my laptop was stolen. Is there a way to find my serial number without the original packaging? I bought those apple classes when I bought the laptop.
Sorry my error. It only shows the computer name not the serial number. Go with "themachead" response copied below:
In your Apple ID - Profiles:My Products if you filled it out. Not only that you might be able to, via Apple ID & iCloud sign up/in and activate find my Mac. If you have not activated iCloud you can do that too. -
ECCN Number being picked from Material Master
Hi Gurus,
There is an ECCN number that has been maintained for a particular part in GTS. The same part has a different ECCN # in Production server. This particular part has been shipped out with ECCN maintained in Production server being picked, which should not have happened. Please let me know as to what could be the reason.
And also let me know as to where we can find this ECCN # in Delivery.
Regards,
TrishulHi
You can go to CT04 and the tab 'Addnl data' and input the table 'MAKT' to the field 'Table Name' and ''MAKTX' to the field 'Filed Name' for the characteristic and save. Then the system will copy the descrition of the mateial automatically to that when it is used in classification. -
How to change the sequence number in the test packages?
Hello,
I need to change the sequence number in the test packages. Currently I use "move test case." However you can only move one item at a time.
There is another option to make this change?
Best regards,
ElisabeteHi Elisabete,
Sorry, I've to acknowledge the reply from Fabricius.
That's poor in release 7.0. A former version provided a solution where it was possible to move a testcase even over pages at once. May be SAP changed this functionality because of other problems caused by the former solution.
Therefore I am looking for a business blueprint structure meeting the logical and operational process for little need of changes in sequences. And I create E2E-scenarios / E2E-processes as an additional structure in a project to have an easier approach in the Test Workbench. An other option is to divide test packages into smaller ones.
I hope we can look foreward to a better and more comfortable solution in release 7.1.
Best regards,
Adelbert -
Hi,
I can not find "Sun Studio 10" as a product in the Sun Software Export Matrix:
http://www.sun.com/sales/its/software/software.html
Anyone that knows which ECCN number to use in case you are shipping libraries from Sun Studio 10?
The library I have in mind is Tools.h++.Actually, the implementation of -xpagesize and its friends will not be available on x86 until the next release. Sorry for the confusion.

[No need]Reducing number of post-install packages (fresh Arch + XFCE)
Hi,
I am inspired by posts by slithery in post-install package count; his discussion here and my willingness to follow-foot steps. Need suggestions/tips what packages can be removed based on details below.
1. Defining usage:
Normal PC having XFCE, thunderbird, firefox, yaourt and wine (for MS-Office with 32bit libs unfortunately needed for work) with 64-bit stock kernel. Other utilities include eog (image viewer), PDF viewer, cups, simple-scan, hplip + hplip plugin, dvd burner and some fonts packages.
I have attempted to remain native on XFCE while installing utilities/needs to avoid unnecessary dependencies unless some functionality needed (such as eog).
2. Current package count

143
[archpc ~]$ pacman -Q | wc -l

5. Packages removable IMO
More could be possible based on suggestions, but IMHO and is it safe?:
|Package Name | Reason |
|---------------------------|--------------------------------------------------------------
|man-db 2.7.1-1 | For me: Wiki, Google and Forums are > what I need. |
|man-pages 3.81-1 | For me: Wiki, Google and Forums are > what I need. |
|xterm | xfce4-terminal is installed so is it needed? |
|reiserfsprogs | No need for reiser FS support (if it is what package does). |
|jfsutils | No need for JFS support. |
|xfsprogs | No need for XFS support. |
|lvm2 | I think no need for logical VM (but not sure). |
|mdadm | I think no need for md devices monitoring/managing. ]
|---------------------------|--------------------------------------------------------------
|xfwm4-themes | No big fan of theming unless required for XFCE. |
|btrfs-progs | No need for btrfs support (if it is what package does). |
|ipw2100-fw | No need for Intel centrino drivers. |
|ipw2200-fw | No need for Intel PRO/wireless. |
|zd1211-firmware | I think no need for in-kernel26 zd1211rw wireless driver. |
6. Please guide what further can be removed.
Thank you for time.
Update: Del packages are already removed based on learning/thread discussion so far.

Request for Serial Number when licensing CS6 package with CC
We're setting up our first batch of CC subscriptions for some new staff and to cater for some upgrades from CS5. However, we need to remain with CS6 likely for the rest of this year to maintain a consistent art pipeline.
If In understand correctly, I can use CCP to create and deploy only CC packages, while I need to use AAMEE to create the CS6 packages. Following: http://www.adobe.com/go/aamee_deploymentguide I created an unserialised, trial mode Flash Professional package and deployed this on a test system. At the same time, I invited a test user to our CC for Team subscription (under the VIP program) and assigned a live Flash Professional subscription to him.
The package deployed successfully (although it took an incredibly long time) and when started < i clicked the 'License this software' button. The user sioged in successfully with his newly created Adobe ID and was then asked for a serial number. Since this is a CC subscription, I don't have a serial number to give him. I had assumed that the adobe ID was now associated with the license and the serial number would not be required.
How do I get past this stage when deploying this package to users? Is there some undocumented option or modification I need to make to the package?Just to clarify this for anyone else that's reading:
The client-side AME is installed automatically with CS6 applications. It is this component that is failing to validate my CC subscription, causing the application to fall back to requesting a serial number.
After a telephone call with Abhijit, we discovered that installing the standalone CC desktop application, either before or after the CS6 package, allowed the subscription to be validated and the software activated. It seems like there's a significant bug there, or at least a lack of consideration for the possibility that clients might not have CCD installed. The workaround is just about satisfactory for my environment, but I think this could still cause trouble in some larger or educational setups.
A useful tip: The CCD installer downloadable here: https://ccmdls.adobe.com/AdobeProducts/KCCC/1/win32/CreativeCloudSet-Up.exe supports the same command line switches as msiexec, so although it's not readily deployable as an MSI, it does allow for unattended installation. -
I bought Aperture when I bought my Mac, so preloaded. "refer to your packaging to obtain a serial number" I don't have any packaging or serial number because it was preloaded. How do a I get a serial number for Aperture if I never received any packaging containing the serical number in the first place? I've had this for almost five years and all of a sudden it's asking for a serial number...
Just because this comes up as the first thing when you Google this problem...
I resolved this issue by uninstalling Aperture and then reinstalling it from the App store.
Pay it forward. -
Limit on number of functions per package? Segmentation core dump error
Hi there!
I noticed a strange phaenomenon. I have a package with a specific number of functions in it. Everytime I try to insert a new function further to the existing ones I get a "Segmentation core dump" error, no matter what function I try to insert..
Any ideas? There are limits on procedural units size, you can check more in metalink note 62603.1 'PLS-123 Program too Large' - Size Limitations on PLSQL Packages although on the other hand then you had to get already mentioned PLS-123 Program too Large error and not core dump.
It rather looks like bug...

Number of structures in package for ABAP proxy
Hey guys,
do we need 4 levels of structures in package for a simple ABAP proxy to file scenario, isn't there any inbuilt package which can be used(cant we jst use $TMP as it is )?
thanx
ahmadhi,
they (those structures) look like the messages interface that you created in the Integration repository
have a look at the data type (on which message interface is based on)
and this weblog
/people/ravikumar.allampallam/blog/2005/03/14/abap-proxies-in-xiclient-proxy
the structure will have all the fields from the
data type
is it clearer now ?

michal

Serial number issues for student package!!
Having contacted customer "support" on several occasions, it is evedent I am not progressing with my issue and unlikely to get it resolved. I keep getting through to an Indian call centre that keeps sending me around in circles. I have spoken to a supervisor that told me to take a photo of my student ID with my phone and submit it to them (as I dont have a scanner to do so). I have done this and still no joy and constant emails to say they will close the issue if I don't respond. Again I respond to Indian call centre and put on hold for long periods of time to go through the whole process again and again!!!
I want to make a formal complaint and progress this issue. I have requested call backs, which have not materialised! Left messages with various depts and still nothing. Is all of the British Adobe team on late xmas holiday?!!!!
VERY angry Customer indeed!!!Sorry... This forum is to discuss the forums, not products, and not sales
You need to ask your question in the forum for the Adobe product you are using

I actually have no idea WHAT forum you would use for an issue like this
You might use this Email address for feedback [email protected]

Where is Serial Number on retail packaging?
Where is the serial number on the retail packaging? There are so many number and letter sequences but they don't have 24 characters.
Thanks,
RobertIf you registered it, at that time, you can retrieve your serial from your Adobe Account Manager, under History section.

Can a Mac become an Airplay target?

How do I fix audio in an iMovie video?
