ECess and HSCess Purchase Tax Account Ledgers in Liability

Hello All
By default when you select IN_COA Chart of Accounts why Cess and HSCess Purchase Account Ledgers are in liability Drawer, in Reality were the purchase tax what you paid is Asset.
Please Clarify

Dear there is no difference between VAT and sales & Purchase tax. Whenever received goods from Vendor agaisnt PO,you have received Tax Invoice against delivery challan ( That tax called as Input tax) and whenever sold goods to customer that tax called as output tax. In India most of the states using VAT oriented tax rules (it is centralized tax rules controlled by sales tax department) and remianing states using local rules (i hope) that GST.

Consolidated entry in BED account as captured for BED, Ecess and HScess

Dear SAP Gurus,
RG23A Part 2 register print shows the combined payment under BED a/c. Upon execution of Payment/Utilization Entry via (J2IUN) which consolidates the payment under BED (114014) as against being captured distinctly for BED, Education Cess (114027) and H&SEcess(114037).
Kindly let me know what is the procedure to check/trace the secenaio of any config level setting is missing?

Please check Excise document no. through J1IEX->display.
Check whether the credit has been taken as in BED only?
Or else check the GL account of BED/ECS & SHECS also if they are same.

Payables - Tax on PO Related invoice should go to TAX account

We have an issue in R12.1.3 where if we match a PO to an invoice, then calculate tax on the invoice, the tax goes to the PO liability account and not the tax account.
Has anyone else come across this issue, and how did you resolve it?

in standard setting the freight amount gets debit in the stock or inventoy account and gets credit in the fright accoutn at the time fo gr so it means the amount of frieght is gettting invenotrised
now at the time of IV IN MIRO SYSTEM CREDITS THE VENDOR ACCOUNT AND DEBITS THE GR/IR account
if u want to settele the planned delivery cost then select the laout variant for the planned delivery at item level
or in case if u want to make use of the unplanned delivery cost then u r doing the right step
but as u simulate the g/l accounts sytem will debit the inventory or stock account for it rather then frieght account (i belive so )
as the uplanned delivery cost may be getting inventorised that is added to the material price
and as u said u dont want to have tax calulated on the unplanned delivery cost then i suggest u to post it as subsequent debit and there do not make use of the claulate tax option or do the direct posting for the g/l account option

I was given this address from the Apple customer support team.
I have an active existing iTunes store account and use the same Apple ID for signing into my iTunes Connect Account that distributes Apps.
I have created some books using the iBook author and in order to distribute content on the iBookstore I have been told electronically that I need a new Apple ID and password that is different to iTunes store account which I have already activated and completed contracts, tax information and bank information valid until 2013?
I want to create a Paid Books Account using the same email address, tax information and bank information. This has been most frustrating, as I cannot get passed the sign in section and there is no contact person I can speak to. I was of the understanding the iTunes connect account and the Developer programs which I paid good money for is all what I needed to be paid for selling iBooks on the iBookstore???
I only have one email address and wish to also use it for the Paid Books Account. I have books ready to be exported and published.
I am also having trouble locating and downloading iTunes Producer. I understand I need to have the Paid Books Account active to access the iTunes Producer program. Please help.

If the apps that are on your son's iPad were purchased under his Dad's Apple ID, then signing your Apple ID onto the iPad will not help you with updating those apps.
Also, if the iPad was sync'd with his Dad's iTunes library, then hooking it up to your computer/iTunes library, will require you to reset the iPad, and everything that was loaded under the other Library and Apple ID will be wiped out.
Can you provide a little more info about what was set up under which Apple ID and what iTunes library the iPad was sync'd with?

Hello,
If you're posting an incoming invoice you must use purchase tax. In FTXP you can define purchase tax with using VST account key. Otherwise If you're posting outgoing invoice you must use sales tax. ın FTXP you can define sales tax with using MWS account key.
In FTXP give percantage to account key VST for purchase tax (for sales MWS account key) and click Tax account for assigning tax G/L accounts.
After that for example in FB60, give amount for vendor and G/L item, give tax codes and click calculate tax. In simulation screen you should see the tax calculation.

Whenever a menu choice is grayed out, that is because you have Restrictions turned on in Settings. Be sure to turn it off.
You are confusing an itunes store account with an icloud account. You two can continue using the same ID for itunes (thus sharing purchased music, apps, etc.), but you really should have separate accounts (different IDs) for icloud, since an account is intended for one user to keep his/her devices in sync.
To create a new icloud account, go to
http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/
Then go to Settings>icloud and scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap Delete Account. (have restrictions turned off) That will disconnect the device from the account but will not delete data in icloud or other devices. Then sign in using the new ID.

I originally set up a family account, but since my sister got an iPod she has been spamming the account with pop songs and apps. Is there any way that I can transfer the £30 odd purchases made with gift cards that were given to me to a new account exclusively for me, and re register my iPad iPod and iPhone to this account without disrupting any of the data on them, and then change the registered account on my computer to the new one? HT3819 Home Share issue: I have a Mac and Apple TV. Both are log into the same Wifi network and the same iTunes account (I can view purchased movies on AppleTV). Home Sharing shows 'ON' for both devices. BUT...AppleTV shows no computers. Itunes sidebar-no

Has anyone else found solution to Apple devices not 'seeing' each other on Home Share? I have a Macbook Air (new Nov'12) and Apple TV (new Dec'12). Software updated on both. Both are logged into the same Wifi network and the same iTunes account (I can view movies purchased from iTunes on my AppleTV). Home Sharing shows 'ON' for both devices. BUT...AppleTV shows no computers... and ... Itunes sidebar does not have a 'Shared' area at all. Help please as without this functionality, my Apple TV only provides portal to purchased (i.e. Netflix,...) content which I can get from Wii or Xbox.
I have already tried the following without success:
1. Homeshare DID work the first day after I setup Apple TV... but the next day it has not worked since then.
2. Powered off 30 sec then re-started (Apple TV & Macbook & iTunes login)
3. Checked Firewall settings per Home Sharing troubleshooting guide (correct settings)
4. Turning on Photostream in iPhoto and selecting iPhoto within iTunes and then checking to see if Photostream shows anything on AppleTV (it shows 'on' for my iTunes account but 'Zero' pictures found ... despite the >3,000 pictures showing avail in iTunes).
I also have 'Remote" app on my iPhone 4, with Home Sharing turned on (same Wifi network)... it has a very similar message as the Apple TV and same result that despite all devices having HomeShare 'on' they cannot see each other: "Remote will automatically find the iTunes libraries and Apple TVs that have Home Sharing turned on using the account xxxx (it lists my correct itunes account name)."

I solved this by reset of the Wifi (unplug cable and power to both modem and wifi ... wait 60 sec ... plug in modem cable and power ... plug in wifi power and LAN to modem ... restart AppleTV and Mac ... Turn Home Share 'OFF' in iTunes then back "ON" ... it took ~60 sec for the AppleTV to pick up my Mac in computers.

iTunes Match is not sharable across Apple IDs. The best way to get the music on her iPad is to leave hers signed into her Apple ID on the iTunes Store and sync via USB.

Create a NEW account/ID using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before. Make sure you specify a birthdate that results in being at least 13 years old
