Echec d'installation / Microsoft Visual C++ 2008

Merci.

    Just got a 9900 Bold yesterday to replace my Tour 9630.
    I attempted to install DM6 and received the same error message I received when I had tried to install DM6 a few months ago.   I click file 610_b034_multilanguage.exe and installation begins. Half way through installation a window appears saying that Microsoft Visual C++2008 Redistributable must be installed - Microsoft Visual C++2008 Redistributable - x64 9.0.30729 is listed in the Control Panel>Programs and Features as being installed.
    I noticed that Microsoft Visual C++2005 Redistributable (x-64 Version 8.0.56336 is also installed together with SQL Server 2005.
    I installed DM6 on my XP laptop without any problems.
    I need to install DM6 so that I can back up my 9900 and synchronize.
    Your recommendations would greatly be appreciated.

  • Security Update for Microsoft visual C++ 2008 Service pack redistributable package

    HI, I need help? I received an IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR Windows 8.1 and later drivers, "Security Update for Microsoft C+ + 2008 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package (KB2538243)". I tried to find more information on this update,
    but I did find an update just like it but it was for "2013" instead of "2008". my question is, Do I have to install this exact update? My computer has been updated to windows 8.1.. I don't know if that makes any difference either,
    or Can I find an newer version of the "Security Update for Microsoft visual C Service pack Redistributable package ". Also received this one SAMSUNG Electronics Co., Ltd - Other hardware -"SAMSUNG Mobile USB composite  Device."
    after  I had unplugged my phone from the USB port, on laptop. I couldn't find much information on it either an if I really needed it I usually don't have my phone plugged into the USB port on my laptop that was like the second time that it has
    happened when the electricity went out to charge it. my question is do I really need to install Visual studio 2008 or newer an do I need the SAMSUNG MOBILE USB composite device and what are they?
       Does anyone know what Microsoft Silverlight (KB2977218) is, is it important and do I need it? Can anyone help me please?
    Thank you for your help..
    Thanks  Tina Maus

    Hello Tina Maus,
    Do you receive an important update KB2538243? Please share us a screenshot for better analyzation.
    As you use the Windows 8.1, it is recommended to install the Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013.
    http://www.microsoft.com/en-hk/download/details.aspx?id=40784
    It supports Windows 8.1.
    Do you use SAMSUNG mobile phone?
    And about the SAMSUNG Mobile USB composite Device, to receive better support, it is recommended to contact the SAMSUNG support.
    Silverlight is a powerful development tool for creating engaging, interactive user experiences for Web and mobile applications. But if you are not a developer, it is not necessary for you.

  • Error 1935: Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Install

    Copy the file "C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log" to your document folder (otherwise you can't open it) and open it with notepad. Now search for errors. Which errors do you see? If you're unsure about the entries, upload the complete CBS.log to your public

  • Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library after Dreamweaver CS4 installation

    Hello everyone,
    I just finished installing Dreamweaver CS4 and I have some issues to have it up and running.
    When I open an .html file and then try to insert an image via the right menu button I get to browse and locate the image but when I select it, I get the following error message:
    If I try to insert it by using the top menu path: Insert>Image... I get to select the image but as soon as I select it I get the following error message and then my computer crashes:
    Adobe support recommended me to install Windows SP 3 for Windows XP Professional and also update my Microsoft Visual C++ by installing the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistrutable Package (x86) (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=9b2da534-3e03-4391 -8a4d-074b9f2bc1bf).
    I did both things and I still keep getting the same behavior... any ideas on how to fix it?
    Thanks in advance for your help,
    HL

    Adobe support encouraged me to create a new user profile in my computer and log-off/log-in as a different user to see if the issue can still be reproduced while being logged as a different user.
    I figured out the way to do this with my IT department (I'm in an enterprise network) but I still experience the exact same behavior...
    I have my IT guys testing if installing the application in a similar machine would give the same error... if anyone has any other ideas, I'll be more than grateful to hear them...

  • Error upgrading desktop to 6.1: Visual C++ 2008 not installed

    I have Desktop v5.0 installed, and tried to install the upgrade to v6.1  After downloading the software, as soon as the installation started, I received the error message:
    BlackBerry Desktop Software requries that Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package is installed.
    A cleanup of my computer a few months ago removed software that was not in use, and it is likely that C++ was removed at that time.  Seeing the above message, and verifying  C++ was not installed,  I downloaded C++ from the MS website (as well as SP1).  I can now see Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable x86 9.0.30729.17 in the list of installed programs on my computer.  However, the installation of 6.1 continues to fail in the same way as before.
    Anyone have any ideas how to fix this issue?  Many thanks in advance.

    Hey JooJoo,
    Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
    I would first uninstall BlackBerry Desktop Software 5.0.  Then perform all the latest windows updates which will include a new version of Microsoft Visual C++.
    Restart the computer and then download the BlackBerry Desktop Software from www.blackberry.com/desktop

  • Crystal Report 10 in Visual Studio 2008

    Hello,
    Is there a formal process to make Visual Studio 2008 work with Crystal Report version 10? Are there specific files that need to be installed? Any problems to watch for. I currently tried to port Visual Studio 2003 solution that had working Crystal Reports 10 code and I have received some errors relating to ReportDocument (but there could be other). Anyway, maybe there are some basics I am missing.
    Thanks.

    When I double click on the report (.rpt) file, I am getting Microsoft Windows dialog with the following message:
          Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 has stopped working.
          Windows can try to restart the program.
          --> Restart the program
         --> Debug the Program
    When I click Debug the Program, I see following:
       Unhandled exception at 0x18205950 in devenv.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation.
       Top 3 Call Stack lines at this point are:
       18205950()
       CRDesigner.dll!3e043d7a()
       [Frames below may be incorrect and/or missing, no symbols loaded for CRDesigner.dll]
       When I click Break in debug window I see:
       No symbols are loaded for any call stack frame. The source code cannot be displayed."
       Windows has triggered a breakpoint in devenv.exe.
       This may be due to a corruption of the heap, which indicates a bug in devenv.exe or any of the DLLs it has loaded.
    I do not see Crystal Reports 10.xx under reference list. How do I go back to the version of reports originally created in? If I am not able to work the Crystal Reports 2008, I want to go back to 10.xx and drop the idea of considering upgrade to Crystal Reports 2008.
    Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

  • Windows 7 Error Message: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error.... Followed by Windows Explorer Has Stopped Working

    I am running a system that is not quite 6 months old, which is loaded with Windows 7 Professional, 64 bit.
    The error message that I get is as follows: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library.  Runtime error!  Program C:\windows\Explorer.exe.  This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.  Please contact the
    application's support team for more information.
    Once I respond to that message, I get a message that says "Windows Explorer has stopped working.  Then I get "Windows Explorer is re-starting"
    I don't know if the next event is related - today, immediately after getting the message above, I got a pop-up that said "An update to Adobe Flash Player is available" - and I am given the option of installing it or not.  Today, I did not install
    the update - although I recall having accepted this update in the past (again, I don't know if the two situations always occur together).
    Is there some help I can be provided to correct this problem?  I have looked at several related topics in this database, but have not found anything that seems to directly relate to my question.
       Thanks!    Mark

    Any help anyone can give me is appreciated

    Hi,
    Mostly, this kinds of error can be caused by two factors:
    1.Runtime components of Visual C++ Libraries are missing.
    2.Software problem.
    If the issue is caused by #1, you can reinstall the Runtime components of Visual C++ Libraries to resolve the problem.
    Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86)
    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=9B2DA534-3E03-4391-8A4D-074B9F2BC1BF&displaylang=en
    If the issue still persists after installing above package, the issue should be a software problem. I suggest you take a clean boot check whether it is a software conflict issue. If not, it is still recommended to address the problem with manufacturer support. Thank you for your understanding.
    For your convenience:
    Clean Boot
    =============================
    1. Click Start, type "MSCONFIG" (without the quotations) in the Search Bar and Press "Enter" to start the System Configuration Utility.
    2. Click the "Services" tab, check the "Hide All Microsoft Services" box and click "Disable All" (if it is not gray).
    3. Click the "Startup" tab, click "Disable All" and click "OK".
    4. Restart the computer and test the issue.
    Note: Clean Boot is a troubleshooting step. If some programs have been disabled, we can re-enable them later. If you see the System Configuration Utility, check the box of "Don't show this message" and then click "OK".
    Please monitor the system in the Clean Boot environment. If the problem does not occur, it indicates that the problem is related to one application or service we have disabled. You may use the MSCONFIG tool again to re-enable the disabled item one by one to find out the culprit.
    Hope it helps.

    Hi,
    This issue might be caused because your VS2008 did not yet install BIDS report project. So, please open the New Project dialogue to check if there is Business Intelligence Development Studio component in the Project Types pane in your vs 2008. If it
    is not there, install this component (can from the SQL server intallation client tools) so that you can open Reporting Services 2008 .rptproj files in the VS2008.

  • Error Ora-604 on connect from Visual Studio 2008 to Oracle database

    Hello!
    I have installed Oracle 9.2.0.6 Database, Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 and today I succesfully installed ODP.NET 1110621.
    I wrote a simple console application like this:
    using System;
    using System.Collections.Generic;
    using System.Linq;
    using System.Text;
    using Oracle.DataAccess.Client;
    using Oracle.DataAccess.Types;
    using System.Data;
    namespace ConsoleApplication1
    class Program
    static void Main(string[] args)
    OracleConnection c = new OracleConnection();
    c.ConnectionString = "Data Source=(DESCRIPTION="
    + "(ADDRESS_LIST=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=192.168.1.1)(PORT=1521)))"
    + "(CONNECT_DATA=(SERVER=DEDICATED)(SERVICE_NAME=ssss)));"
    + "User Id=user;Password=pwd;";
    c.Open();
    OracleCommand cmd = new OracleCommand();
    cmd.CommandText = "Select * from CATEGORY_TABLE";
    cmd.CommandType = CommandType.Text;
    cmd.Connection = c;
    OracleDataReader dr = cmd.ExecuteReader();
    while (dr.Read())
    Console.WriteLine(dr[0].ToString() + " " + dr[1].ToString());
    dr.Dispose();
    cmd.Dispose();
    c.Dispose();
    Console.ReadLine();
    at line c.Open(); appear runtime error : ORA-604 Error occurred at recursive SQL level 1
    How to solve it?

    Your issue is not SQL and PL/SQL so much as .NET so I would suggest you ask the question in the "Windows and .NET" forum.
    But a couple of thoughts:
    1. Your database is undoubtedly not at "HOST=192.168.1.1"
    This IP address is generally the address of the router not the server.
    2. Why would you install an unpatched version of software so old it is in desupport mode and then try to work with it using a current
    version of a Microsoft product? Would you be comfortable installing a 10 year old version of a Microsoft product and expect it to
    work well with Oracle 11gR1?
