"Hi, I have a problem with the apps store. I updates to applications but they ask me to pay with a credit card when I want to do updates while it's free applications"
Actually, it is not asking you to "pay" for anything, just to provide a payment method which iTunes requires for the account. you will not be charged for free apps.
En fait, il ne vous demande pas de «payer» pour rien, juste de fournir une méthode de paiement qui nécessite iTunes pour le compte. vous ne serez pas facturé pour les applications gratuites.

  • Over charged at app store

I hope this is an easy one, my mom just got an iPad, she told me that she download a couple of free apps, they stopped working and told her she had to buy the paid version.  Then the app was supposed to cost $4.99 and she was charged $15.99.  She says this happened twice.  Now, I've had iPhone and iPads for years, and never had that happen to me, so I'm not sure how she should proceed.  I looked in the app store and couldn't find a way to contact Apple.  Can she just call 1-800-MY APPLE?

Click here and ask the iTunes Store staff for assistance. If she bought them with a credit card, she may also want to dispute the charge.

  • Unknown charge from app store

On 17 May 2012, I have created apple ID for my new ipad. I didn't buy any paid apps on app store, but I was charged for 1 USD from my credit card. I want to know what is that charge for, and when you will reverse that charge to me?

You should look into the game, the three extra charges are most likely in-game purchases.

  • Weird behavior in app store downloading mavericks

I've got a Macbook Pro and I'm trying to download Mavericks without much success.
Looking at the Launchpad, the Mavericks app logo appears but the progress bar at the bottom of the screen doesn't advance.
But what's really strange is that when I look at Purchases in the App Store, a horizontal bar for OS X Mavericks keeps blinking. It appears and disappears about every 3 seconds. The behavior keeps repeating.
While this is going on, the icon for Mavericks shows "downloading/" But it doesn't seem to be receiving any data.
I'm on a fast wired connection and the computer is plugged in.
Anyone else see this behavior? Any solutions?
    Thanks!

me too Northstar but on OS 10.7

  • App Store on mavericks 10.9.2 no longer works

OK I updated to to Mavericks 10.9.2 last night and thats when the app store no longer worked. I have tried everything mentioned in other threads like restoring Mavericks and restoring from Time Machine etc, etc, etc and nothing works. Funning thing is its seems to be a problem only with Mavericks as no one running Lion is complaining about this issue. All other apps work fine. I logged in as a guest and managed to open the App Store and update itunes but I wont be able to do this with all my other programs because they dont exist when logged in as a guest.
Any ideas anyone? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh and lets keep this to just the App Store hey. I see alot of people with a similar issue but its with other programs not the App Store and the real issue gets lost. So only things that can help get the App Store working again please.
    Thanks in advance.

I wish I could say the same about the content of the email and support they gave me If you can call it that! PLease read them email below.

Well yes please! Oh how much will that cost? Well in order for us to help you, you will need to purchase 1 years support! Your so called free update is going to cost me, to fix a problem you created. Great!
Needless to say I did not go with option A. So I tried option B.
    Thanks for nothing Apple!
I ended up doing a restore from Time Machine, again! Not from within Mavericks this time. I resterted my Mac and held down the command + R key after the chime. I then restored from time machine, one month ago. Unfortunetly this took about 3 hours but the result was success. My App Store.app now works again and everything is back to normal.
Thank goodness I had a time machine backup. I would love to know what would happen if there was no backup! I think a fresh install may have been the only solution.
Needless to say I will not be doing anymore updates for a while. I am now back on 10.9.1 and all is good in the world.
Thanks again ot everyone on this thread who tried to help. Your advise is extremely valuable.

  • Je ne peux pas ouvrir App Store sous ios7

Cannot connect to the App Store under IOS 7

You ran a defective third-party "utility" such as "CleanMyMac" or "MacCleanse" that purports to "clean up" "junk" files. What it really does is to corrupt the operating system and many applications.
The first thing you need to do is remove that software according to the developer's instructions. Never install it, or anything like it, again. Then see below.
If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data, then reinstall the OS.* You don't need to erase the startup volume, and you won't need the backup unless something goes wrong. If the system was upgraded from an older version of OS X, you may need the Apple ID and password you used.
If you use FileVault 2, then before running the Installer you must launch Disk Utility and select the icon of the FileVault startup volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name.) It will be nested below another icon with the same name. Click the Unlock button in the toolbar and enter your login password when prompted. Then quit Disk Utility to be returned to the main Recovery screen.
There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.
If you installed the Java runtime distributed by Apple and still need it, you'll have to reinstall it. The same goes for Xcode. All other data will be preserved.
*The linked support article refers to OS X 10.9 ("Mavericks"), but the procedure is the same for OS X 10.7 ("Lion") and later.

  • App Store - Download Mavericks, yet downloaded?

    Hi there
App Store - In the "Purchases" tab I have an option to "download" OS X Maverick. Yet I have already downloaded it and now up and running. Any reason whey it is there?
    Many thanks
    A.

It will allow you to download again, but you do not have to do so.
If you Sign Out and then Sign In does it still show these status marks?  Do you get the update red badge on the App Store icon, or only in the Purchases area?

  • Unable to open app store after Maverick update

Icon just bounces up and down and doesn't open

If the above does not resolve your problem:
    -You can reinstall the Yosemite
-You can wait and see if the next 10.10.1 update sorts your dilemma and run your updates manually via Applications/Utilities/Terminal.app
    software update via terminal:
To list the available software updates, use the following command.
    sudo softwareupdate -l
All available software updates can be installed with the following command:
    sudo softwareupdate -i -a
Install specific updates from those listed with the following:
    sudo softwareupdate -i PackageName
