Eclipse ANT hangs and does nothing!

Hi all,
I'm trying to build a project that I know works (I just built it on Windows) and strangely it will not build.
Here is what happens:
I go to Ant -> Build, then it looks like it's trying to build something, the little red terminate button comes up on the console, but the console does NOTHING.
I've tried the repo version of eclipse, a fresh download from the site, different JDKs, different versions of ANT, tried ant -diagnostics, tried allocating more memory to eclipse, and still nothing. It hangs on every version and produces no output.
Ant and everything else work correctly -- I just checked and I can build from the command line.
Anyone have similar issues or ideas of what could be wrong?

read Moan Guide and provide full system specification including PSU details(look for them over PSU sticker).
have you Clear CMOS Guide? if not do it(remove power cord from PSU before proceed).
is it working with your old CPU? ensure CPU is mounted well.

I upgraded to 10.4.11 along with the safari update. Now it just will not load any page, even bookmarks, it just sits there and does nothing. Also all my favicons have turned generic.

Memory has not been a problem on anything except streaming. My brand new (4/18/2013) mac mini has the same problem and it has matched memory . Roku streams without a problem. My iPad streams over wireless without a problem, but if I want to watch ESPN3 or other streaming such as HULU or Netflix on my minis, both machines have a problem.
Another hint: Web sites with a lot of streaming data also hang up. To continue, I have to quit Safari and then restart it. Occasionally I have to reboot the whole system. Shades of Microsoft blue screens of my past.
If I don't get a solution for this soon, I see Windows 8 in my future or a return to cable/satellite tv. I hope someone can save me from those lousy alternatives. Thanks!!

Thanks for that. Much more constructive than the last comment. It's only the restriction code I can't recall, not the access passcode. So I can currently access the device, just not age restricted content. Does that's make a difference? I also wondered if anyone knew how many attempts you get to try to get it right. Now tried 21 times and so far nothing bad has happened but I am concerned I'll eventually be completely locked out of the device. That doesn't seem in the spirit of things though. Surely it's foreseeable that a child could repeatedly try to guess the code so I can't see that it would be right to lock the device down completely in that circumstance, particularly if the access code is being typed in correctly every time.

I apologize, I'm a bit unclear on exactly what you are describing. If the screen appears to be sliding downward (leaving a blank portion at the top), you may be seeing the Reachability feature of iOS 8 on the iPhone 6/6 Plus. It is intended to make it easier to reach elements towards the top of the screen on the larger iPhones, and is activated by a double tap (not press) on the Home button. Downloaded installer just sits in memory and does nothing

iTunes had permission issues and would not start up, I tried to uninstall itunes, and download version 11.0.1,
but upon downloading the installer, it starts up, but it just sits there in memory, and does nothing.
I am using windows 8, and a HP PC with a Intel 6 core processor

I found my problem. The iPad had apparently been synced with a different iTunes library (our family has three). We never intentionally synced it to another library, but when I did the iOS 6 update (from 4.3), I think that I may have been logged into a different ID.
While logged into the 'right' library in iTunes, when I selected the iPad device in the Sidebar (on the left), and then selected "Music" in the button bar along the top, I found that the "Sync Music" box was not checked. I checked that. Then when I hit 'sync', I got a message saying that this iPad is synced to a different library and asking if I wanted to lose that sync and establish the new one. I said 'yes', and now things appear to be syncing.
In my earlier trevails (described in the question), iTunes could easily have warned me that I was logged into one library, but trying to sync with an iPad that was previously synced with a different library. Instead, it silently 'finished' the sync without running it. AWESOME software design!!
I love Apple's device design. I think their software design, which seems to be all tangled up with Digital Rights Management, is too confusing. There needs to be a way to make the model (the mix of multiple libraries and multiple devices) more apparent to the user.

I've seen similar posts earlier in Apple discussions, but I haven't come across a definitive answer yet…So, let me ask again:
Up until 6-7 hours ago, iTunes 12.0.1 was working perfectly well including syncing with my iPhone (I use an oldie but a goodie and it suits my purposes, iOS 6.1.6, 3GS). Specifically iTunes now "hangs" and will not complete the syncing process with my iPhone. It get to "2 of 6" in the backing up process, and then the spinning beach ball appears. I keep my iTunes library on a separate external HD (USB).
Even if I only want to launch iTunes 12 to use it (and NOT sync), the application freezes.
In similar posted questions, "Linc Davis" has asked that the user run a diagnostic using the Terminal utility. I have done this, and I paste the results below.
Any help with this is appreciated!

Thanks, once again, for repeating yourself by sending me the message above (a message you have sent to MANY users with this problem)!
However, you give me this great opportunity to say two things: 1) YAHOO! I fixed the problem, and 2) I want to share how I did so because I hope it helps others.
With the help of reading info at this website http://osxdaily.com/2011/09/22/fix-the-itunes-library-itl-cannot-be-read-version -error-when-downgrading-itunes/, I followed this procedure:
1) I deleted the iTunes 12.0.1 app from my computer
2) In addition, in reading related details at the website above (i.e., by clicking on links on the page AND scrolling to the very bottom to view links to related articles), in my iTunes library folder, I changed MY CURRENT "iTunes Library.itl" to "iTunes Library.old", as the website advises. The current .itl file was the one being used by the iTunes app I had just deleted from my computer.
3) I went to the "Previous iTunes Libraries" folder and dragged a copy of the second-most recent .itl file to my desktop (for me, this file was "iTunes Library 2014-07-23.itl").
4) I re-named it to "iTunes Library.itl"
5) I then dragged a copy of the file in step #4 to my iTunes folder (the folder in which you now also have the "iTunes Library.old" file).
6) I closed all remaining apps on my computer that were opened and I restarted it.
7) Now, you don't have any iTunes app on your computer, so I downloaded a .dmg of iTunes 12.0.1.26 and installed the app (for example, you can download from here: http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/5661/apple-itunes.
8) Once installed, I opened iTunes and immediately I got the dialogue box, "updating iTunes library" -- THIS TOOK FOREVER AS I HAVE CLOSE TO 1,000 SONGS + OTHER ITEMS IN MY LIBRARY!
9) I patiently waited until the library update completed, but it DID COMPLETE.
10) Viola! iTunes 12 is not "hanging" (or freezing) any longer. I can navigate around the application.
CAVEATS:
1) Before I first deleted "the corrupted" iTunes 12, I was able to open the Preferences panel, go to "Devices", and check the box that stops the app from syncing with my iPhone. This setting seemed to carry over; thus, I have not tried to sync yet…WISH ME LUCK!
2) After going through steps 1-10 above, I didn't immediately have Internet Radio available in the application (i.e., I didn't see it), but it is now showing up and it works! I just had to wait for a few minutes...
3) I also use iTunes Match, but I haven't turned it on yet in the newly installed app. On the iTunes Match page, it says, "Add this computer" or "No thanks". So, the app is behaving as if I'm just beginning to use iTunes Match for the first time. Later, I will click on "Add this computer", and I hope it goes smoothly!
4) This isn't a caveat, but I think I should say: my iTunes library is on an external USB HD (I have to say THANK GOD for that). Obviously, this has implications for doing steps 2 to 5 above. The newly installed iTunes 12 app had no trouble in finding where my library is (I had it set up this way back when I was using iTunes 10).
5) One last piece of advice: Make sure that when you plug your iPhone into any other computer only to re-charge but the iTunes app on that computer wants to sync with your phone, you DON'T let it sync. First, you should go to Preferences in the iTunes app and click on "Devices". Then check the box that says, "Prevent iPods, iPhones,…….from syncing automatically." After that, you would be able to plug in your iPhone to another computer to re-charge it.
FINALLY: I THANK EVERYONE WHO WAS WILLING TO SUGGEST SOLUTIONS TO ME REGARDING THIS PROBLEM! I see that MANY users are having this difficulty, so I thought it would be fair for me to share how I resolved the issue -- my iTunes is running fine now...

Try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose any data by resetting, but it can cure some glitches.

Main script calls function which executes another script.
No matter which statement is the last in called script, it hangs on the last line and does not return control to main script.
I tried to call another script not within the function - it is the same result.
Can you help please.

Insert Images File keeps closing and does nothing

I'm fairly new to dreamweaver but I know the basics. Today was the first day I was adding images. I'd do insert/images, the files folder would open but no matter what I clicked on in the file folder, the file folder would just close and do nothing, not letting me even select an image. It didn't matter whether I used the panel or insert menu at top it still wouldn't work. I tried this about 30 times same thing. Finally managed to get 1 image in and then it kept doing it again. I already tried uninstalling dreamweaver, rebooting then reinstalling, issue is still there. Any body know whats happening?
My OS is Windows 8.1 and using Dreamweaver CC 2014 Build 6981

When Dreamweaver acts strange, it's often the result of a corrupt cache file. You can find details of how to delete the file here: Deleting a corrupted cache file.
