ECM error when strutural Authorization is used

Hi ,
When structural authorizations are added to the user via transaction OOSB, the i-view "Compensation Planning (ECM)" after we select the organization unit , return the following errors :
An exception occurred while processing a request for :
Component Name : com.sap.pct.hcm.ecmmain.planning
Without structural authorizations, we do have any errors .
Any one run into the same problem ? Any solution will be appreciated .
Regard's

Hi.
Check for clues if a system dump is generated via st22 ? Alternatively turn on "Trace on", then access the MSS, then "Trace off" via st01. Examine the log for clues involving authorization.
Since it happens only when structural auth. is assigned, you may wish to further check (via oosp) the objects which are missing from your assignment. The above hopefully can give you some clues.
Hope it helps.

  • ORA-00054 error when loading Oracle table using Data Services

    Hello,
    we are facing ORA-00054 error when loading Oracle table using BO Data services
    (Oracle 10g database, BODS Xi 3.2 SP3)
    Test Job performs
    1- truncate table
    2- load table (tested in standard and bulk load modes)
    Scenario when issue happens is:
    1- Run loading Job
    2- Job end in error for any Oracle data base error
    3- When re-running the same Job, Job fails with following error
         ORA-00054: resource busy and acquire with NOWAIT specified
    It seems after first failure, Oracle session for loading the table stays active and locks the table.
    To be able to rerun the Job, we are forced need to kill Oracle session manually to be able to run the Job again.
    Expected behaviour would be : on error rollback modifications made on table and BODS stops Oracle session in a clean way.
    Can somebody tell me / or point me to any BODS best practice about Oracle error handling to prevent such case?
    Thanks in advance
    Paul-Marie

    the ora-0054 can occure depending how the job failed before. If this occures you will need the DBA to release the lock on the table in question
    Or
           AL_Engine.exe on The server it creates the Lock. Need to Kill Them. Or stop it..
    This Problem Occurs when we select The Bulkloading Option in orclae  We also faced the same issue,Our admin has Killed the session. Then everything alright.

    I have a csv file that I need to generate a schema for. I am trying to generate a schema using flat file schema wizard but I keep getting "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." error when I am clicking on the Next button after
    specifying properties of the child elements on the wizard. At the end I get schema file generated but it contains an empty root record with no child elements.
    I thought may be this is because I didn't have my project checked out from the Visual SourceSafe db first but I tried again with the project checked out and got the same error.
    I also tried creating a brand new project and generating a schema for it but got the same error.
    I am not sure what is causing Null Reference exception to be thrown and there is nothing in the Windows event log that would tell me more about the problem.
    I am using Visual Studio 2008 for my BizTalk development.
    I would appreciate if some has any insides on this issue.

    Hi,
    To test your environment, create a new BizTalk project outside of source control.
    Create a simple csv file on the file system.
    Name,City,State
    Bob,New York,NY
    Use the Flat file schema Wizard to create the flat file schema from your simple csv instance.
    Validate the schema.
    Test the schema using your csv instance.
    This will help you determine if everything is ok with you environment.
    Thanks,
    William

  • AES Algorithm error when trying to encrypt using stored Java class.

    Dear All,
    We have a specific reuirement where in we cannot use DBMS_CRYPTO package to encrypt/decrypt data using AES Algorithm
    So I am trying to use a stored Java class and I am getting "AES algorithm not available".
    I am using Oracle 10gR2 standard edition.
    Below is my code
    1. Stored Java class
    2. Stored function to access the above Java class.
    3. Test anonymus PL/SQL to test above code.
    Please help me finding the problem why I am getting "AES algorithm not available" error when I call stored Java class in Oracle.?
    **** If I use "DES" algorithm, it works. Also the Java code works well if I execute it as normal Java class from Eclipse.
    I verified the java.security file in jre/lib/security and I see that there is provider entry for SunJCE.
    The jre version in Oracle is 1.4.2.
    I appreciate your help.
    Thanks,
    Priyanka
    Step1: Stored java class to encrypt and decrypt data
    CREATE OR REPLACE AND RESOLVE JAVA SOURCE NAMED "EncryptUtil" AS
    import java.security.Key;
    import javax.crypto.Cipher;
    import javax.crypto.KeyGenerator;
    import javax.crypto.SecretKey;
    import javax.crypto.spec.SecretKeySpec;
    public class EncryptUtil
         public static String encrypt(String inStr)
         String outStr = "Test data 123";
    try
    KeyGenerator kgen = KeyGenerator.getInstance("AES");
    kgen.init(128);
    SecretKey skey = kgen.generateKey();
    byte[] raw = skey.getEncoded();
    SecretKeySpec skeySpec = new SecretKeySpec(raw, "AES");
    Cipher cipher = Cipher.getInstance("AES");
    cipher.init(Cipher.ENCRYPT_MODE, skeySpec);
    byte[] encrypted =
    cipher.doFinal(inStr.getBytes());
    outStr =new String(encrypted);
    catch (Exception e)
         outStr = outStr + "exception thrown::" + e.getMessage();
    e.printStackTrace();
    return outStr;
    Step2: Stored function to access above stored java class.
    CREATE OR REPLACE FUNCTION SF_ENCRYPTUTIL(
    pKey1 VARCHAR2
    ) RETURN VARCHAR2 AS
    LANGUAGE JAVA NAME 'EncryptUtil.encrypt(java.lang.String ) return java.lang.String';
    Step3: Test encryption and descryption
    DECLARE
    outstr VARCHAR2(2000);
    BEGIN
    DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE('outstr-->' || SF_ENCRYPTUTIL('12345'));
    END;
    Below code example using DBMS_CRYPTO. This works, but we do not want to use this.
    declare
    l_in_val varchar2(2000) := 'Test data 123';
    l_mod number := dbms_crypto.ENCRYPT_AES128
    + dbms_crypto.CHAIN_CBC
    + dbms_crypto.PAD_PKCS5;
    l_enc raw (2000);
    l_enc_key raw (2000);
    l_dec raw (2000);
    begin
    l_enc := dbms_crypto.encrypt
    UTL_I18N.STRING_TO_RAW (l_in_val, 'AL32UTF8'),
    l_mod,

    dbms_output.put_line ('Encrypted='||l_enc);
    end;

    I guess I'd be a bit curious about why you can't use a DBMS_CRYPTO solution that provides identical output. It seems odd to want to have a procedure running inside Oracle and then dictate that it has to be Java and not PL/SQL...
    I verified the java.security file in jre/lib/security and I see that there is provider entry for SunJCE.
    The jre version in Oracle is 1.4.2.Which java.security file are you talking about? The JVM that is inside the Oracle database does not and can not use configuration files that are outside the database. I suspect when you talk about files and paths that you're looking at a JVM outside the database, which is not the JVM that your Java stored procedure would be using.
    Looking at the error, my assumption is that some JAR file needs to be loaded into the internal JVM in order for the AES algorithm to be available. But I'm unfortunately not familiar enough with these classes to say what that would be.

  • Error when compiling Systinet WSDL using JWSDP

    We are getting the following error when using Sun JWSDP tools
    (wscompile) to compile a WSDL document generated by Systinet:
    error: in message "PatientSearch_findPatient_bar.foo.mccs.WebServiceException_Fault",
    part "idoox-java-mapping.bar.foo.mccs.WebServiceException" must specify a "element" attribute
    The section of the target WSDL that is causing this error is:
    <wsdl:message name="PatientSearch_findPatient_1_Request">
    <wsdl:part name="audit" element="ns0:audit"/>
    <wsdl:part name="patientSearchData" element="ns0:patientSearchData"/>
    </wsdl:message>
    <wsdl:message name="PatientSearch_findPatient_Response">
    <wsdl:part name="response" element="ns0:PatientSearchResponse_Response"/>
    </wsdl:message>
    <wsdl:message name="PatientSearch_findPatient_bar.foo.mccs.LegacyDataSourceException_Fault">
    <wsdl:part name="idoox-java-mapping.bar.foo.mccs.LegacyDataSourceException" type="xsd:string"/>
    </wsdl:message>
    <wsdl:message name="PatientSearch_findPatient_bar.foo.mccs.WebServiceException_Fault">
    <wsdl:part name="idoox-java-mapping.bar.foo.mccs.WebServiceException" type="xsd:string"/>
    </wsdl:message>
    <wsdl:message name="PatientSearch_reset_1_Request"/>
    <wsdl:message name="PatientSearch_reset_Response">
    <wsdl:part name="response" element="ns0:ArrayOfArrayOfstring_Response"/>
    </wsdl:message>
    <wsdl:message name="runtimeHeaders_0">
    <wsdl:part name="header_0" element="ns1:instance"/>
    </wsdl:message>
    This error has been seen by us several times in the past, however in each case the WSDL provider was willing and able to provide us with a modified document that satisfied the 'wscompile' program.
    One possible explanation that we've found for this error:
    A <wsdl:part> definition must contain an "element" attribute
    when using "document" style, or a "type" attribute when using
    "rpc" style; it must not include both attributes.
    The questions that I would like to ask are:
    1. Is this a "legal" WSDL document?
    2. Can the WSDL be "modified" in any methodical (consistent) way to replace the type="xsd:string" attributes with element="..." attributes whenever we are faced with this error but cannot ask for or obtain a modified WSDL document?
    TIA for any light that anyone might shed on this issue.

    Hi scg,
    I took a look at your file and researched a little bit about your issue, I have not been so lucky with the research since most of the doceuments are related to previous versions of the software, nevertheless it is also what makes me think that the file might be corrupted or some issue related to it so and I have found some tests that you could try:
    1. Create a new FPGA file with your code on it and compile it again.
    2. Turn off the firewall and compile again
    3. Restart the compiler Services
    Hope you might find this information helpful!

  • Why I get an error when running a sequence using the LabVIEW operator interface ?

    I have a simple TestStand sequence calling LabVIEW vis that is giving me an error when I run it with the .exe version of the LabVIEW operator interface and I set TestStand to run the vis using the 8.2.1 runtime engine instead of the development adapter. I made a change in the operator interface to open a vi programatically and get the value of a control, this vi is also used in the TestStand sequence I am trying to run. Could this be causing my problem ?
    Thanks

    Hello Verdulken,
    I have a few additional questions:
    Does your application function correctly when running the LabVIEW operator interface you have created as a VI in the LabVIEW development environment (i.e. does this problem only occur when the LabVIEW operator interface is run as an executable)?
    What is the error that you are receiving?
    Regarding the VI that you open programmatically, do you open it in a visible manner (i.e. use the Show front panel when called option from VI Properties)?If so, do you also close this VI after it finishes (i.e. use the Close if originally closed option from VI Properties)?
    Does the error occur on the step that calls this very same VI again later in the sequence?
    Does your application function correctly if you use the development adapter for all of your calls?
    Thank you in advance for this information,

  • I get an error when i try to use my ni 5112

    When I want to use a typical digitiser application or example like one channel scope.vi I get an error at AI group config. This also happens when I want to ackuire a waveform. The device in MAX is ok, the test panels are ok. I constantly get this wessage whenever I want to use the card.
    Any ideas?

    The problem you are having is because you are using an example that uses the NI-DAQ driver as the API. The One Channel Scope.vi is an example program that actually uses MIO DAQ devices and not our High Speed Digitizers. When you look at the example finder in LabVIEW, it will actually give you a list of supported devices for each VI.
    To get the example programs for your high speed digitizer using the NI-SCOPE API, go to Sart>>programs>>National Instruments>>NI-SCOPE>>Examples.

    Oracle Wallet password have been set correctly and works fine with one of the DB adapter( name ex: A) and the same setting of A has been used in B.
    Would be glad if someone could help to give solution to track oracle wallet and database connectivity.
