ECM page not displayed under 'Services'

Hi all,
I am trying to display a page under SERVICES in the MSS role.Currently we have
Under Detailed Navigation
WorksetA
WorksetB
When I click on WorksetA in detailed navigation,it displayes the pages attached to that workset under SERVICES.I can click on this link and get the page displayed in portal content area.
Now I added a new workset WorksetB under worksetA.
When I click on worksetB its not displaying anything under SERVICES.Its supposed to show my page as links.
WorksetB had the same properties as worksetA.
Is there any service that I need to enable for this?
Please clarify.

I am working on EP 7.0 SP8.
SAP Portal is not displaying any custom built Portal Services under Service Configuration tab.
I checked with the permission, and I am having the required authorization for my service.
I am not able to find any document on making the custom service available under Service Configutation to start/stop the service.
Please let me know any reference docs on this.

Glad to hear that you are not stuck on EP5 No, really, that is older than old... Anyhow:

There services are only listed if they are configurable, i.e. if they have a service profile with at least one property (compare http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp2/helpdata/en/df/e6b74253ffda11e10000000a155106/frameset.htm). Otherwise it makes less sense to restart a service (normally this is done after changing a service profile parameter).

Pulisher CUCM web page not display

Hello,
Publisher cucm web page not displayed and DB not accessible IP phones working on Subscriber but I can't change any settings.Cisco Tomcat service not working and I can't restarting. (ver. 7.1.5)

If you cannot change any config then it's more than just not being able to use a webpage, there must be some problem with the ccm/DB services on the PUB.
SSH to the server and see if there are error messages, I'd suggest a whole reboot.

Major Problem - some pages not displaying correctly

I have a problem with some pages not displaying correctly i.e.
SE80 navigation page
F1 help
I am using XP sp2 and we have the latest version of internet explorer 7 (which I cannot uninstall as it is company policy)
SAP version is 6.4c.
I am using SAP Gui 7.10 with the latest patch 710_7.
This is making the system completely unusable for me.
I have read a few forum posts mentioning that upgrading to the latest patch version will resolve this problem, but this clearly has not worked for me.
Can someone please help, how do I actually esculate this to SAP?

I am a SAP developer in ABAP and its related to SE80 which I used to use primarily for editing code (i now have to use se38).
I often use F1 for hints on code etc to use and syntax so it does make it very difficult for me. If there is a more appropriate forum for this please direct me, instead of posting in gibberish english.
Max - I assume you have the same problem and it is also not resolved by the latest patch. I wonder is there a way this can be esculated with SAP?

Pages not displaying properly in Publisher instances as we activated the page from Author. In author it is working well but in Pulisher it is showing first 2 lines of the page and then showing error as
Apache sling/2.2 Hot Spot ****** Sun OS error
Please help me on this.IS this issue with the templates or components are we using?

Ok, then let's go the long way and try to reduce the number of possible root causes:
1) Is your problem reproducible on this publish? (I suppose it is)
2) Is it reproducible on other publishs as well, which have received the same page with the same application?
3) Can you reproduce it on other replicated pages as well?
4) When you upload a page to such an affected publish via a content package, does this page render correctly?
5) Does this problem appear on other environments as well?
6) Do you use dispatcher when you get this result? Or do you get it when you request the page directly of CQ5?
7) What's the HTTP statuscode when you render this page? You can see it in the request.log of CQ5.
If you change logging via Felix Console, you don't need to restart the instance.

Login action buttons no longer work and some pages not displaying correctly after upgrade.

After recent update, some web pages not displaying correctly and Login buttons on some sites do not work. I've updated my plugins and restarted computer, but problems remains. Is this Java, Javascript or something else? Same pages are working fine in IE.

Please update the firefox to the latest version of firefox 26
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

It's the only element that isn't in sync with the other elements on page, when compared to home.html for example.

BBC One Highlights page not displaying content of its panes

Why does the BBC One Highlights page not display the content of its panes?

There seems to be something up with their javascript that produces slightly different image url's than on other browsers.
Instead of something like this:

it's producing say
http://ichef.bbci.co.uk/images/ic/336x0/legacy/episode/b03ggg2z.jpg
which doesn't exist.

'Access is denied' error in ESS iViews & Page not displayed' thru. internet

Hi,
We are implementing ESS(Webdynpro)/MSS(Java).
We are in EP6 SP13.
We want to put our portal on internet through SSL.
I have installed SAP Webdispatcher and configured it to support SSL. SAP webdispatcher is installed on a DMZ machine(hostname: SAPROUTER).
webdispatcher ports:
http port: 80
https port: 8443
1) When i try to access the portal from the DMZ machine (where the webdispatcher is installed) using https://saprouter.domainname.net:8443/irj/portal, i am able to see all the iViews.. but, i am getting 'access is denied' error(in the status bar) when i try to click on any link in ESS iViews (for ex: working time, Employee search).. when i try to double click i am getting javascript:void(0)
2) When i try to access the portal through internet(https://<ipaddress>:8443/irj/portal), I get the logon page and after logging in... i am not able to see the ESS and Transaction iViews .. getting 'Page cannot be displayed' error.
When i am able to see the iViews in the DMZ machine.. why are they not being displayed when i access through internet??
Can any1 help me in this regard?? What am i missing ??

Its a hot topic I think,
Where facing the exact same problems.
When we logon LOCAL to the Portal the iview works. (Not true the internet / DMZ)
But when we logon true the webdispatcher we get the Portal Layout, so the dispatcher works.
But the WEBdynpro Iview gives the error -> Page not displayed'
And when we edit the file hosts on the pc of the client browser and fill in the hostname of the SAP Portal the Iview works..???
There are no ports closed on the firewall, everything is allowed.
Can anyone tell me of its necessary to edit the Web Dynpro Runtime Environment. Here are some settings for the WEBdispatcher but I cant get it working.
- sap.webdispatcher.host = Defines the host of a used Web Dispatcher
- sap.webdispatcher.port = Defines the port of a used Web Dispatcher
- sap.webdispatcher.protocol = Defines the protocol of a used Web Dispatcher

When I activate the trace on the webdispatcher
(D:webdispsapwebdisp.exe pf=D:webdispsapwebdisp.pfl -t 2)
In the Tracefile I can see that the webdispatcher resolves the SAP portal system. Thats was aleady confirmed by seeing the portal framework from the client. I think that the WEBdynpros have to be remote activated, or some addition settings in the webdispatcher.
If somebody get an idée I really would like to know it.

http://siteurl/default.aspx page? If so, go to Site Features in site settings page, reactivate the Wiki Page home page feature, check the result.
If not, please check whether there is related information in ULS log and event viewer log file? Does the page shows page not found or other errors? Check whether the site can be opened in other machine?

Hosted Email pages not displaying correctly

Ive tried searching this forum but didnt have any luck.
My issue is this:
I have a .Mac account and i usually make my newsletters for email in iWeb.
I host it to my server space on .Mac.
It displays correctly in Safari and even when i send it to myself in Mac MAIL.
However, ive just started using an email client so that i can send my html emails to all my database contacts in one go.
Im using iContact for this.
Within iContact i can create an email by simply adding a web adress (pointing to my page on my server)
The problem is that when i send it to a GMAIL, HOTMAIL, YAHOO and probably other email apps besides MAIL...all the email does not display fully.
Images are missing, text is all over the place etc
I cannot figure out what i could be doing wrong.
Any help would be appreciated as im not sure whether this is an iWeb or iContact issue....or just me

Have you sent HTML emails to GMAIL, HOTMAIL and YAHOO accounts successfully before? Are those services capable of handling HTML formatted email? Not all email clients can handle that type of email.

UIX page not displaying data from VO's

I have an application where my users log in by passing a username/password to a client method in my application module. The Webusers View Object has a view link to the Customers view object, which has a view link to the Orders view object, which has a view link to the OrdLines view object, like this:

------OrdLinesView via OrdOrdlinesViewLink
I've run this Application Module through the tester and I can see data via all the View Links.
I have the following code in my login() script:
w = getWebusersView();
w.setWhereClause("login = '" + username + "'");
w.executeQuery();
I've stepped through the login() code and it works correctly. If I understand BC4J correctly, then all of the View Links should fire and coordinate the data from Customers, Orders, and OrdLines when this query executes successfully.
I created a UIX page and did a drag/drop of Orders to the page as a read-only table. I found the Orders table by expanding the Webusers entry in the Data Control palette, then the Customers entry below that, to grab the Orders entry there. I think this means that it will follow the WebCustViewLink to get the Customer that goes with the Webuser, then the CustOrdViewLink to get the Orders for that Customer. Is this correct?
When I try to run this and display the table, I get no records. I know for a fact that records exist under the Webuser username I've chosen.
What is wrong? Why doesn't my UIX page display the appropriate Orders based on the Webusers->Customers->Orders view links?

If there, try removing the $. at the beginning of the binding that gets puts there if you select the item from the pop up list.
I have a text field that is read only and bound without the $. that was working fine for displaying data. I have a drop down that had the $. and was not saving. I removed the $. and now it is getting saved to the XML. However, it does not display on the next render of the form.

CHM does not display under Win7 64bit

Hi all,
the CHMs generated unter Win 7 32bit do not open correctly under Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 64bit. The CHM viewer opens and the TOC is visible, but all pages are empty (white, no error message). The CHM is stored locally. The same CHM can be viewed without problems under Win7 32bit.
Any ideas about this?

Wrong information - sorry! The CHMs were generated under Windows 7 Enterprise 64bit as well. That means they do not display on the same computer they were gnerated on, but under other systems that have 32bit OS (Win7 or XP).

Isqlplus page not displayed

Installed oracle 10.1.0.3 on windows XP professional and applied the isqlplus patch. isqlplus started successfully.
URL: http://spanguruwxp:5506/isqlplus/dba displayed the page sucessfully , After entering the login info when clicked on the "login" button following error is displayed.
"PAGE NOT FOUND".

Can you access either of these pages:

Can you verify that iSQL*Plus is started in the Services dialog and that there are no errors logged in the Event Viewer?
You may also want to set the level of error logging to be more informative using the steps outlined in the SQL*Plus User's Guide and Reference:

Application Server Control Page not displayed

Hi,
I have installed Oracle Database XE,SOA suite with JDK1.4 and OBIEE advanced installation. I'm able to open the Presentation services and BI Publisher but when i tried to open the Application Server Control the page is not displayed. My Apps Server is up and running.
Can anyone render help on what error it might be?

I am using the assigned HTTP port. In my case I choose the port pool during rapid install that assigned 8001 to the HTTP listener.
