Edge Animate code output image location (X,Y) changes in Chrome and Safari

Hi there,
I'm working on my first project in Adobe Edge Animate, and so far it has been a miserable failure! Yay! Anyone out there interested in helping me out?
Here is a sample of the project so far: http://research.cs.queensu.ca/home/parker
My problem is that the green square's location appears incorrectly in Chrome and Safari browsers, but correctly in Firefox. I'm using a Mac Mountain Lion OS.
Why would an element have a different position when seen in a different browser? Note that all the other elements are displaying properly in all the browsers?

Website www.bludot.com is not showing the proper BG image/video on all browsers (Safari, Chrome and all IE versions) but not on Firefox. The code is right, but FF is still pulling old images. The correct image/HTML5 video should be a cake, as displayed on all other browsers.

Firefox 9 is being withheld for Mac users due to unresolved crashing problems.
A test case would be nice and the URL for the website in question, so someone here can experience that problem first hand.

If your product was installed via the Creative Cloud, you should be able to update it using the Creative Cloud. If your product was installed via other media (like from the DVD), you will not be able to update it using the Creative Cloud. Now that CC has launched, you might want to look at upgrading now and try it out now.

Web pages have been loading without images or formatting in google chrome and safari

My web pages have been loading without images or correct formatting. I have tried using google chrom and safari but does not make a differnence. I have check for software updates and everything is up to date. Not sure what else to do???

Edge Animate code into Dreamweaver jquery mobile theme?

I am having trouble getting my Edge Animate file to work on my Dreamweaver jquery mobile theme web site. I was told to get the code from my animate file and put it in my dreamweaver web site. Kind of like this.....copy the Edge runtime code, paste in web site under <head>. Then copy div stage code, and paste it in my website under the content div. I just cant seem to get it to work. It shows up blank.

Ok, i got it. I was making this a lot harder then it needed to be. If anyone else has this problem, you just publish your project when in Adobe Edge Animate, then save in the folder you are using for your website. Then in Dreamweaver you can go to insert media, find the file and insert it. All is well.

Edge Animate - Exception An error occurred. Please save your work and restart Edge Animate

I get this error every time I try to open the project I have been working on for days - I've attempted to create a new project and swap out the different pieces/parts from the previous project folder but it still causes the same exception error. I have also uninstalled/reinstalled Edge Animate CC twice, and cleared my preferences. Neither has resolved the issue.

I had exactly the same problem and in my case I could not resolve it. It appears that somehow the file with contains the editable code gets corrupted leaving only the rendered content which cannot be reverse engineered.
I had to start all over again.
It has left a bad taste in my mouth. I do not think that the software is robust enough for professional use yet. I feel very insecure when I am working with it. Constantly expecting it to crash. I now save to two different folders but only compile in one. This helps to avoid the problem in the future.

Sluggish at initial opening and loading websites, google maps print and images not working right, problems are not present in Chrome and Safari

Firefox is very slow opening. Web pages load slowly. When I go to images in a Google search, the pictures take a long time to load, and when I click on an image, then the back arrow, the loading time for the previous page is very slow. When I print a Google map, it is small, rather than full-page. In Google Chrome or Safari, the same actions product immediate results. I cannot get Google desktop to work.

This sounds like a network problem, since it goes away when you connect through a different network. You'll need to talk to your university's IT department about this.

Chrome and Safari image alignment and color problems after upgrading to 10.8

I have just upgraded from lion to mountain lion with a clean install. My website davidandora.com now displays image sliced improperly aligned in chrome and with slightly adjusted colors on some slices in Safari. They appear fine in the same version browsers on Macbook also running the most current mac OS. I suspect this is not a browser problem since there are issues with both browsers, but what could be causing this? I have run all updates on my computer and browsers.

I will add that the current Firefox is displaying everything correctly. So strange.

Swap Edge Animate composition for image

Hello,
Is there a way to swap out an Edge composition for a static image when the viewport is at a certain size?

There must be a trigger or event action somewhere in your project/ code that is firing it off.
To help pinpoint it, go to the Window > Code and from the Actions Panel on the left you should see a list of 'actionable' elements. Look for something like
     Stage
          { } elementName.mouseout
Select them to review any code that is triggering a
           window.open("http://www.adobe.com", "_self");
Modify or remove the above where it is no longer needed.

When I try to use "store locator", e.g., Eddie Bauer, I get no result with Firefox 4 on Mac OS. Chrome and Safari work OK.

Edge Animate Animation Flickering in IE 11 only

Im using Adobe Edge Animate CC 2014.0.1. I've created a basic keyframe 20 or so png animation with one sound effect in it. All on the main timeline. When published both locally and and on our staging server the animation flickers but only in IE 11. IE 10 is fine as well as Firefox, Chrome and Safari. There isn't any code added it's strictly a series of images on the the timeline spaced out for timing and one sound effect plays at a certain point. I've even removed the sound effect but that doesn't change the flickering. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

nope. no fade. i make the images go from 0% opacity to 100% to hide the previous image and make the current image visible.

Inserting edge animate files correctly into Dreamweaver

I am loving edge animate! i have made all sorts of web banners and slideshows!! This is my problem, I have a project i would like to add to a 2 column layout in the right colum but eveytime i insert the project where i believe it should go it appears on the otherside of my screen not in the area i placed it or the containing div..

Edge Animate CC – Exception Error

I recently installed the test version of Edge Animate CC – but it doesn't work.
It starts up with a white screen and a popup showing the remaining days of the trail version, as expected.
After assigning the button continue trail, I may create a new document but can't adjust size or anything else without the error code:
"Edge Animate – Exception: An error occurred. Please save your work and restart Edge Animate" Any ideas? Running on mac osx 10.8.
I already deleted the preference folder – without effect.

Edge Animate to video format?

I have received a request to convert an Adobe Edge Animate animation output to a video format such as .mov .
Does anyone have and Idea on how to do this?

Do a video capture with a video capture software like Camtasia or other free or cheap software like frontcam.
