Edge Animate - Exception An error occurred. Please save your work and restart Edge Animate

I get this error every time I try to open the project I have been working on for days - I've attempted to create a new project and swap out the different pieces/parts from the previous project folder but it still causes the same exception error. I have also uninstalled/reinstalled Edge Animate CC twice, and cleared my preferences. Neither has resolved the issue.

I had exactly the same problem and in my case I could not resolve it. It appears that somehow the file with contains the editable code gets corrupted leaving only the rendered content which cannot be reverse engineered.
I had to start all over again.
It has left a bad taste in my mouth. I do not think that the software is robust enough for professional use yet. I feel very insecure when I am working with it. Constantly expecting it to crash. I now save to two different folders but only compile in one. This helps to avoid the problem in the future.

I'm using Windows 7 Profession 64 bit.
24 gb ram
At the time of the error on timeline, around 21 second frame, only 4.82 gb of ram was being used and CPU was using less that 10% processing. No spikes.

Copy 1 was created and saved before last upgrade (no .
Copy 2 of this file was created before the update and saved a few times before and after the upgrade.
Copy 3, is just trying to figure out what went wrong with copy 2. BTW, Copy 1 is also having the same issue.
The only thing I can think of that I might have messed up on was creating a picture into a symbol much late in the project.
I wish I knew how to video record my desktop so you could analysis my Edge Animate.

Hello, this might sound stupid, but in my case, the problem was that the folder where my files were saved, had a special character (é) in its name. I changed the name of the folder and everything is just fine now.

Yet, still the problem persists. Only working on one small XAML file. VS2013 and Blend always report "There is not enough virtual memory available. Please save your work and restart {0}" (except when they report "Package 'DesignPackage'
failed to load" when run in safe mode) Saved my work and restarted VS2013, Blend, and the computer. Followed all other suggestions as much as possible.
There is an abundant available and virtual memory. The only changes from last week to this is Microsoft updates.

Get IT to do it. Get them to uninstall all the latest updates, since you can identify them as a proximal cause of the problem. Also, search MS Knowledge Base or do some googling for the exact error text.

In PowerPoint 2013 on Windows 7 - 64 bit, when

You mentioned you tried some steps but I'm not sure what they are, you may try my suggestion to resolve this issue, follow these steps:
Click Start, right-click Computer, click
Properties, and then click Advanced system settings.
On the Advanced tab, click Environment Variables.
Locate and select the __COMPAT_LAYER variable, and then click Edit.
Set the value of the __COMPAT_LAYER variable to EnableThemes. Or, delete the __COMPAT_LAYER variable.
If the issue persists, we can troubleshoot this problem in Clean Boot to determine whether background programs are interfering with PowerPoint:

I am setting up breakpoints in WCEM, tab JAVA EE then from menu RUN->Toggle brekpoints and then debug configuration.
the breakpoints are in several places in handler class BITDetailviewVCHandler class including method downloadBITData.

When the BIT page is loading the control stops at the breakpoint.

Problem is that the exception is not form any PrintWriter object i had instantiated in my servlet code. Infact, the exception comes from a class of tomcat when it is trying to log some information. The basic thing is I am contacting a Geographical positioning server from servlet. The contact is fine and I get requested information back from server. But, once the control comes back to server, I get that exception. If I dont contact the geo server, I dont get any exception.

We are on EP 7 SP8. We just now performed a system copy and are right now done with the post installation activities. All seems fine but we are having a problem in the Navigation Windown Quick Create link on the left hand side. Here I am always getting an error: Error occurred. Open up Visual Administrator and go to Log Viewer. Then open up the Defaulttrace file. Generate the same error message and look in the file for more details.
What do you see?

I was having the same issue up until I found a solution myself a few minutes ago. If you have "Accept Third Party Cookies" un-checked it will not allow the embedded "Third party" youtube videos to load. You can either Check the box to allow third party cookies or add an exception to allow youtube.com WITHOUT the www. You just want it to be Youtube.Com.
To do so just go to Tools: Options: Privacy: Exceptions: Type in Youtube.com and click Allow. Then click Close and OK. It should start working immediately.

I get the message "an error occurred while loading your favorite themes" and my persona rotator won't work. Please help?

I usually use the Persona Rotator using My Favorites as its themes to rotate. Lastely my rotater has not been working. I click on Tools, then Personas, then My Favorites and am asked to sign in to use my favorites with the Rotator. I follow all these steps and all seems to go fine, except my Persona Rotator does not rotate. Again I click on Tools, Personas, My Favorites and there is a message saying "an error occurred while loading your favorite themes" and therefore won't work. I don't know what the problem is or even exactly when it started, but it doesn't work and I'm most disappointed. Please fix or help me to fix it so I can enjoy my rotating themes again.

In order to switch to another persona that you had previously installed, do the following:
#Go to ''Tools'' and click ''Add-ons'' (or click the Firefox button at the top left and click ''Add-ons'').
#Switch to the ''Appearance'' tab. You should find your previously used personas in the list.
#Find the one you want to use and click the ''Enable'' button.
To uninstall the other ones you can click the ''Remove'' button on them and they'll be uninstalled instantly.

I am trying to order a book, I keep getting the same error message," A network error occurred while processing your order, please check your network connection and try again"

I am trying to order a book with iphoto, I keep getting the same error message.
" A network error occurred while processing your order, please check your network connection and try again"
I get the billing part up, it has even uploaded my jpegs but at the final process, I get the same message.
I have ordered two books a few months ago without any problems.
Now I keep getting the same message either half way into
the order or at the final hurdle after the images have been uploaded.
Any ideas?
My shared Network has been fine and that does'nt seem an issue.
Help.
