Edge local configuration store- NO green check

did an export from FE server and then run the setup to deployment wizard.
step one run pointed to exported file. but NO green check. - no errors
step two run i get the green check with complete.
step 3 for certificate is gray out.
windows 2008 r2 with lync 2010.

Post the log from Step 1, my guess is the Edge server FQDN isn't matching the Topology. Similar to:

am now stuck as the Step 3 shows "Local Machine not present in local configuration store"

    Hi Dee McClanahan,
I suggest you should check whether or not the names are spelled correctly in the topology builder.
If this is not the case, I suggest you can create and publish a new topology.
To remove the published entry run:
    remove-CsConfigurationStoreLocation
In addition, I’m a little confused about what you say “Pool consists of Lync Server and SharePoint Server.”
Do you mean that you installed Lync Server and SharePoint Server on the same box ?
    Best regards,
    Eric

  • Lync 2013 Edge server - no green checkmark when successfully import configuration store

    Hi all,
i have a problem importing (exported) configuration store to my lync edge server. Everything goes fine and at the end i get "Task status: Completed", but there is
no green checkmark near "Run" button. Same thing happens when i run "Setup or Remove Lync Server Components", everything imports fine, but no green checkmark... So i can't move forward to certificate installation. What could
    it be??
    Thank you in advance,
    Uros

Take a closer look at the dialog box when you run step 2. On the Edge server it is common to get a message stating that the server was not found in the topology. The usual culprit is the FQDN on the Edge. Since its usually not a domain member the hostname
is used. You need to manually add the domain suffix and make sure that it resolves internally by the Front Ends.
In a nut shell, the FQDN used in the Topology builder to define the Edge Server needs to match the FQDN on the Edge Server internally (not talking about the external access, webconf and AV)

  • BizTalk Runtime configuration error - "Creation of Adapter FILE Configuration Store entries failed"

    Hi,
I am trying to install Biztalk Server 2006 R2 on a Vista Ultimate
edition machine. I completed the installation successfully, and have
configured "Enterprise SSO" and "Group" features. I am getting the
following error while configuring the BizTalk Runtime feature.
"Creation of Adapter FILE Configuration Store entries failed.
The SSO system is currently disabled."
I have already done/tried the following:
    1. I tried different settings - Inprocess only, Inprocess and
isolated, each trusted, each with a regular user account and each with
an administrator user account. In all cases I get the same error.
    2. I have made the changes suggested here (related to rpc
authentication changes after Windows XP SP2) but it still doesnt
    change anything: http://blogs.msdn.com/scottwoo/archive/2004/05/19/135453.aspx
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks in advance,
    Anand

I'm having a similar installation error on an XP SP2 box and was getting the same error message (Creation of Adapter FILE Configuration Store entries failed. The SSO system is currently disabled.).  I checked and the Enterprise SSO application is not appearing in the list of services, and doing a command line "net start ENTSSO" returns an invalid service error.
So going on the theory that SSO did not install correctly and get registered as a server, I went ahead and uninstalled BizTalk/SSO, blew away BTS/SSO databases, and tried to reinstall (selected all options for install).
After BizTalk installed, I entered a local admin account and chose "Custom" installation.  Because the error message pointed at an SSO problem, I tried to apply the SSO configuration ONLY, using the default SSO Administrator/Affiliate Administrator accounts with the default admin account, but it keeps failiing at the same point in the install log when it tries to start SSO (see log below).
[10:30:51 AM Info ConfigHelper]  Creating service: ENTSSO, start type: 2, exe: "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Enterprise Single Sign-On\ENTSSO.exe", dependencies: RPCSS,COMSysApp,MSSQLSERVER, account: .\bizservice
[10:30:51 AM Info ConfigHelper] bizservice is a local entity.
[10:30:52 AM Info ConfigHelper]  Created service: ENTSSO
    [10:30:52 AM Info SSOServerCfg] (ssoconfigobj2.cpp:7370) CSSOServerCfg::ConfigureSCP
    [10:30:52 AM Info SSOServerCfg] (ssoconfigobj2.cpp:7445) NetScheduleJobAdd: nRc = 00000000, dwJobId = 1
    [10:30:52 AM Info SSOServerCfg] (ssoconfigobj2.cpp:5697) CSSOServerCfg:tartService
[10:30:52 AM Info SSOServerCfg] (ssoconfigobj2.cpp:5721) The SSO service is starting.
    [10:30:52 AM Info SSOServerCfg] (ssoconfigobj2.cpp:5852) ENTER: CSSOServerCfg::WaitServiceState
[10:30:52 AM Info SSOServerCfg] (ssoconfigobj2.cpp:5892) The SSO service state is: The service is starting (SERVICE_START_PENDING)
[10:30:53 AM Info SSOServerCfg] (ssoconfigobj2.cpp:5892) The SSO service state is: The service is not running (SERVICE_STOPPED)
The SSO database does get created, but the SSO Administrators and SSO Affiliate Administrators local groups do not.
So my theory here is that for some reason SSO cannot start, the exception is caught and the app rolls back.
    Any ideas?

  • In general, Where is AddOn local configuration stored?

    Hi Experts,
In general, Where is AddOn local configuration stored?
I am using an AddOn, I have a local network and Windows 2008 Terminal Server (TS). I installed this AddOn in three companies from a LAN PC, and its working fine there from local computer but not in the TS. In Terminal Server just works in two companies but not in the third one.  In the third one appears under AddOn Administration, it is assigned to the company and to the user but when I go to the AddOn Manager It does not appear in pending AddOns neither in installed AddOns, so I am not able to start it.
Any ideas, Is there a file that holds the local AddOn configuration that I can I just can modify in order to establish the same parameters that SAP is using for the other companies?
Which files, registry keys and tables are involved in AddOn configuration?
    Thanks

It would store in C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One\ AddOnsLocalRegistration for a particular client machine.
Delete the file following <AddOn Exe and ends with AddOn></ADDONS> which you have installed previously.
Reinstall your add-on definitely it will work.

All my certificates on the Exchange 2013 and Lync 2013 servers are from my local CA.
I use APP with the public certificates as my reverse proxy for people connecting from outside the network.
In Lync, the OAuthTokenIssuer certificate created through the Lync deployment wizard is issued to domainname.local (my primary sip domain) and the Subject Alternative names include domainname.co.uk
I then exported this certificate to the Exchange Server and use the Set-AuthConfig to use this certificate for OAuth.
from what I read this was what I was supposed to do.
    is this correct?
I have tried so many things I don't know what do to next.
Should the OAuth certificate in exchange be the one exported from Lync?
In Lync, should the OAuthTokenIssuer certificate include the servername or lyncserver.domainname.local or just be domainname.local like it is at the moment?

    Thomas,
thanks for giving this the time. I have run the Configure-EnterpriseApplication.ps1 script following by remove-PartnerApplication so many times that I was wondering if there are other setting that
Configure-EnterpriseApplication.ps1 creates that aer not removed when you run
    remove-PartnerApplication.
is there a way to completely remove everything that is confirmed when you run
Configure-EnterpriseApplication.ps1 so I can run Configure-EnterpriseApplication.ps1 without there being any configurations left from when I previously run that command?
    thanks
    jack

  • Green check finally in iTunes Producer but it doesn't show on account

    OK
Got a big green check in iTunes Producer for our first upload.
But now it doesn't show up in tickets or book to manage?
We did get one warning about a sample is needed, is that for the whole apple store network or just one of them, the warning looked like it wasn't the whole network for some reason.
Anyway, not sure if that sample file will hang this, but a green check was gotten.
But now I don't see it anywhere

ok it showed up in around an hour in manage ebooks
but it says not for sale in 51 stores
so now I guess it's waiting to go live
now I got to figure out if itunes producer will just allow me to use my epub files
first book I used the ibooks author app
    it's terrible in my opinion
so as long as producer lets me pop epub files we'll load up pretty fast
if all these epubs have to be redone in ibooks author
    that's a big job

  • I preordered the iPhone 6. Can I bring it into my local Verizon store for activation?

I preordered the iPhone 6. Can I bring it into my local verizon store for activation?

        adrianC,
    Thanks for clearing up these questions before hand. You just need to ship your device back within 14 days;
"Edge Up online or by calling Customer Service orders, customer must ship their original Verizon Edge device back within 14 days of receipt of the Edge Up replacement, following the instructions received and, utilizing the shipping label provided by VZW when they complete the Edge Up process with the shipment"
This should answer it for you! Let us know if you need anything else.

  • I can't get the local Lowes store with Firefox, IE works fine, why?

I am having trouble getting to the website of my local Lowes store. I am able to get to lowes.com but when i try to show the store locator to pick a local store nothing happens. It is important to be able to get the local store website so as to be able to see pricing and availability of items. With internet explorer this happens automatically, but not so with Firefox. Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated. P.S. I did not have this problem with Home Depot.

PLease could you help me too.  I have been onto support through several emails and online helps and they do not understand the problem correctly and have not resolved it.  I have photoshopcc 2014.  If I click on add layer mask icon I get a white thumbnail.  That seems ok.  I then select a brush - set to normal etc.  all ok.  Then I attempt to either brush in or out on my photo to reveal or hide bits of layer below and it no longer works.
Weirdly, I noticed it was not selected in channels.  So I checked the layer mask in channels and then back in layers it works except now it works by painting on a rubylith (which it did not do before 2014 version) then when I am done if I click apply mask everything works ok and it is done.  It just does not work unless I select in channels.
This also happens if I apply an adjustment layer.  The adjustment comes into the thumbnails with a mask and the mask is unselected in channels, I have to select and it paints a ruby lith.
If I go to layers in the menu however and select layer mask hide all or reveal all then select my brush it works fine and as it normally did before.
I have tried re installing etc. and every bit of normal advice but nothing works.  Can you help or do you know anyone who can.  As I am desperate here is my email: [email protected]
    thank you

  • Where does Apple Configurator store backups?

I'm trying to identify where Apple Configurator store the individual backups of iPads etc.
I've had a backup fail and I while I have deleted it from within AC I haven't gained any space back so would like to go and manually delete the backup.

How to import an iPad backup from one apple configurator to another
    1) connect a properly set up iPad to its source computer, and create a new backup, even if you already have one.
    2) open ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.configurator/Data/Library/Application Support/com.apple.configurator/Resources
those are the backups that have been made.  more may be listed here than in configurator. they are zip files of the backups
also found in mobilesync.  there should be one just created now.  that’s your backup.  (the ones in mobilesync are not usable)
    3) copy the newest one to removable storage and connect storage to the target computer
    4) attach an iPad that goes with the target computer to the target computer and make a backup there also.  name it as you want the backup you are importing.
    5) open that same folder on target computer and locate newest backup.
    6) copy file name, and rename the one on removable storage to that same name
    7) drop (replace) file on target computer
    8) select the backup you just created to be the restore image for that iPad
    9) you will have to click Restore to save.  it may not change anything on the iPad (do not be alarmed)
    10) check configurator prefs and make sure ‘restore when attached” and “restore default data” are both checked
    11) unplug and replug the iPad
it should definitely do a proper “Restoring Settings” now, and you will see the image has successfully been copied.  It can now be
selected as the restore image for any additional iPads on the target computer.
For some reason, manually clicking Refresh at the bottom doesn’t usually work right after replacing an image.
YMMV if there is significant differences between the two computers doing the configurator management.
(this is in answer to the question I was trying to find an answer for earlier, found it myself, hope this helps other admins)
    to free space, also look:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.configurator/Data/Library/Caches/com.apple.config urator (contains TWO hidden firmware folders)
    ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.configurator/Data/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup (MANY backups)

  • Could I pre-order an iPhone 5 in my local apple store and I have it mailed to my house?

Is it possible for me to go to my local apple store and pre order an iphone 5 and have it mailed to my home address? If I was to pre order it at the apple store would I have to go through AT&T to buy the phone or could I just buy the phone? Would that change the price too? I plan on getting the 16GB.

You don't preorder in the Apple Store. You preorder on-line. It will be mailed to your home address. Apple has not yet announced an unlocked iPhone 5 in the U.S. so yes, you would need to select a carrier.

    SAP Gurus,
I am running report FBL3N, for a clearing account, under clear/open item symbols instead of seeing a red dot or green dot, i see a check a mark. Does anyone knows what this green check mark means, and how can I clear the items?
Your help will be greatly appreciated

    Venkat,
Right now client has the accounts set-up as Line Item Display ( ALL OF TEH G/L ACCOUNTS), if I check open line item, when I save I get an error, saying there are errors. When I pull the long text to see the message of the error, it tells me,the message below. It apepars I have to create new accounts and then transfer the items to the new account is that true? or is there another way to fix this. I thought that by just checking the open item management option was sufficient.
You cannot change the open item management setting; (see long text)

This account does not have a balance of zero.
    System Response
You cannot switch the open item management specification on or off with this transaction.
*Procedure*If you want to switch this function on retroactively for a certain account, you should create a new account with the correct setting and use this to make a transfer posting of existing items.
If you want to switch off the open item management function retroactively for an account, you must first clear all the postings currently on this account. You cannot make any changes to the account management method until this is done.
