Edge not working and not showing E icon

All day today all over the city (San Diego, CA) I have been unable to connect to the edge network. Not even the "E" icon is showing on the phone. I have no problem connecting to WIFI at my house or picking up wifi signals at any location.
I have had the phone since July and have not had any problems with it before. Phone and text are working just fine.
I have tried troubleshooting (turning on and off, resetting network settings etc...nothing works.) I want to get other opinions before I call AT&T and knock some heads together. Thanks

I have an iPhone 4, 5 & 6 and when successfully connected to the controller all does have the wireless icon on the top left. I don't think they are connected to the wireless... Might be associated, but not authenticated. Look at the client on the controller and see if they are in the policy state: RUN If they are not in the RUN state, then they are not connected.

Firefox in Windows 7 under a proxy do not show many icons and images in Google applications. Reinstall it does not solve the issue.

Google applications (spreadsheet, ...) does not show the icons properly.
Only when hovering over the buttons, the tip appear and you can see what does the button.

I have tried the solution and it worked perfectly, both for Google search "Images" tab and for Google Docs icons. The problem was in the Google images and icons permissions.
Other person in my company had the same problem and now it is solved. You have killed two birds with one stone (^_^).

I am working on an excel data upload functionality on .jspx page. I use “af:inputFile” file uploader to upload an excel file then process the data and store it as a list of objects in memory and display it in “af:table” table
I added “af:statusIndicator” to the page to show the user that the page is progressing while the data is uploading and when it is saving the data to the database.
In this case, when the “af:inputFile” is clicked to upload the excel file - the status indicator shows a progress icon (movement) which is expected and is good. However, after the data have been display in the table when I click on a command button that saves the data to the database – I expected the status indicator to start its busy motion but that is not happening. Whereas, the command button grayed out and is disable when I clicked the button until the operation is completed.
Is there any way to start the statusIndicator when a command button is clicked?
I tried the following options

Go step by step and test.
1. System Preference > Sound > Output > Internal Speakers
    Highlight Internal Speakers.
    Make sure that Mute is not enabled.
2.Plug in and remove the headphone.
    If you see red light in the headphone port, plug the headphone
    in and out of the port 5 or 6 times to flip the microswitch inside.
    Sound output may be stuck in the digital mode.
    Try this even if you don’t see the red light.
3. Reset PRAM. http://support.apple.com/kb/PH14222
    Do this twice
4. Reset SMC.     http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964
    Choose the appropriate method.
    Choose the method for:
    "Resetting SMC on portables with a battery you should not remove on your own".
5. Applications > Utilities > Audio MIDI Setup
    Audio Devices window
    Side Bar
    Click the Built-in Output.
    Under Mute any of the boxes checked? If so,uncheck it.
6. System Preferences > Sound> Sound Effects
    Play sound effects through:
   Select "Internal speakers" and then back to "Selected sound output device".

.bmp files do not show as icons in the event library - I am having to convert them to .jpg to achieve a display

Although .bmp files are to some extent supported, I find that on importing them they do not show as icons in the event library. I am having to convernt them to .jpg files to produce this result. Am I doing something wrongly, or is this the experience of others as well?

Yes - I've posted one of the files to Dropbox and it appears perfectly in picture form on my IPad. So it seems there is nothing wrong with the files. I'm even more puzzled now! I'll try to upload a smaller (less than 2mb) file here. The files I am using in the project, which is a kind of family history using stills, are a complete mix of types - tif, jpg, Canon raw(cr2), psd and bmp. Some, including, I suspect, many of the .bmps are scans from old prints, as this one.

Outlook 2013 not showing attachment icon even tho there is one.

This quite a weird bug. Outlook 2013 is not showing any icons regarding attachments however there is an attachment!
Why is this happening? Any idea?

This might has something to do with your current view setting to your folders. Please check if
Attachment has been added into "Show these columns in this folder" list in
Show Columns dialog:
Select the mail folder
Go to View tab on the ribbon
Go to View Settings>Columns...
Select Attachment from Available columns: list, then click
Add-> button.

Would you be able to try 9.3(2) firmware or later? I checked with 9.4(1) and I see a lock icon when placing a video call on my 9971. According to the new and changed information 9.3(2) added additional support for when to display the lock icon,

After a visit to the apple store, they were able to get through my pass code but unfortunately I found out that is was a problem with the logic board. Since Apple only wants to sell and not fix, I was able to locate an iphone repair near me that deals with logic boards and they are currently working on it right now. i should be getting it back soon. Im not sure if the problem you are experiencing is the same as i went through but it does sound like it may be also a hardware issue and would suggest searching online for an iphone repair place that can diagnose what exactly is wrong. Hope this helps.

I have been updating my PSE since 10. Recently I purchased PSE13 as I didn't see an update for my 12. I was changing to a new laptop as my old laptop had been patched and worked and was showing signs of giving out. It was a Window's 7OS. My new one is a Windows 8 OS so I bought the 13 and downloaded it on the new laptop. Our desktop had died so I downloaded the 13 on the new desk computer also. Not thinking I downloaded 13 on my old laptop as I hope to get it patched up enough to be a backup for my photography. When I tried to activate it I realized that I had downloaded it too often. I didn't know you could only use it on two computers. Learn something new every day.. Any way I removed it and now my PSE 12 does not seem to be working. Now it could be something that I did or something that is an issue with the laptop. this laptop has all the previous editions on board as I always tried to update, except for the year I got a really good deal on Black Friday. I also notice that the new laptop has a copy of PSE 12 in the program list. To my knowledge I have never deactivated any of my PSE's except the extra 13 downloaded. Bottom line, do I need to go in and deactivate previous PSE versions and removed them from my computer? I could certainly use the space and secondly, can I deactivate the PSE 12 and then go back and reacitivate it and install it again on the old laptop or the desktop, whichever I deside would be the most appropriate place for the newer program. For the PSE 12 since it is an updater for 11, does the 11 still need to be on the laptop? thanks for anyone who can understand what I am trying to say and can advise me as to my next move. Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
