Edge project doesn't work in browser

Hello,
I made a Edge project that's works perfect offline, but aftre publising it doesn't work from the publish map offline and also online after I uploaded to my site. However its works allright on my iPhone 4S.
Does anybody know what is worng?

Hi Bas,
Looks like you're still using Animate 1.5 which we do not actively update to keep up with browser changes. I haven't seen this issue with CC, are you able to give your project a whirl with the new version and see if it persists? Browsers are constantly in flux as they intoduces updates and we keep up with those changes in the latest version of Animate.

Edge audio doesn't work in DPS project

Being very happy after latest update of Edge CC, I've decided to make DPS project for iPad.
First, when I chose "autoplay" button for audio timeline, I got a warning about sound autoplay option is not supported at digital devices (??). So what should I do? To not use the autoplay?
Second, a preview of Edge animation in web-browser works perfect (both background sound and a sound for user interaction) - BUT when I put .oam file in DPS, the sound just DOESN'T WORK.
I tried everything - check-uncheck "autoplay", check-uncheck "preload audio", put an audio as a trigger.. no sound in iPad.
And when I put audio file directly into Indesign, a sound works perfect in iPad.
What's going on?

No, not exactly. iOS and other mobile devices can playback HTML 5 audio, which is what Animate outputs.
But the fact of the matter is that autoplay for audio (and preloading) is not supported by mobile devices - it's a limitation manufacturers build into their devices. Therefore, to use audio from Animate in mobile devices, you have to initiate audio playback from a user event, such as touchstart or click.
We warn you of this in Edge Animate when you turn on autoplay (warnings appear at the bottom of the Stage).

Edge animation doesn't work properly or display properly in IE

I've created an animation using Edge CC. It contains a graphic created in illustrator which has a gradient in it. I've inserted it using the OAM method into my webpage in Dreamweaver.
My first issue is that the animation doesn't display in IE10 unless I allow Active X, however it takes forever to load.
If I choose not to load the animation, the Poster image doesn't appear in its place.
The second issue is that once it eventually loads, the gradient doesn't display correctly - it's a solid colour.
Is there a way to get my animation working properly in IE?
And if not, is there code I can use to display an alternative image - something that works in the newer versions of IE? I've tried using <!--[if !IE]> but it doesn't work.

I just did a simple test with an svg/ gradient, exported from Illustrator - defalt svg settings.
Imported (File > Import) into an Edge project file and it works, shows properly.
Is this the process you went through to add the svg file? When imported does the svg look as it should within the Edge Animate stage, at this point?
I then opened Dw, new html file; Insert > Media > Edge .oam. It imports properly.
Enable Live mode and I can see the edge file as well as the svg in all its gradient glory.
As for the Active X prompt, that is common IF you double click the .html to view or Preview in Browser from Dw because its not within a webserver space.

Edge animation doesn't work in Chrome

My Edge animation works fine in Safari, but doesn't work in Chrome and is sluggish in Firefox. It eventually plays in Firefox but appears to be loading slowly then plays but is sluggish. No problems in Safari. How do I go about troubleshooting this problem. It doesn't load half of my assets in Chrome.

We are having a problem with an animation in Edge Animate involving transform and clipping.
Basically, the animation is clipped in Chrome when viewing it, while not in other browsers.
There is a known issue when filters are applied to transformed objects - which would then clip in Chrome.
Chrome: Clipping may occur in browser when a transformed element has a filter applied. (3494343)
Would it be possible for you to have a look to the project and tell us if we are doing something wrong.
As there are no filters, it seems whether an additional issue, or a problem with our project.

Old Edge projects no longer working properly

All my Edge projects I did back in 2012 are no longer working properly when i open them in the new Edge CC. Most (if not all) start-positions are wrong, animations go the wrong way and so on. Is there a way of getting it back to work without re-doing everything? An "import" or something?

Toolbar doesn't work in Browser

Hi,
I have a student on a Windows 7 operating system, with the latest version of Adobe Reader X. When she tries to view a pdf in the browser (latest Firefox or Internet Explorer) with form fields, the majority of icons on the toolbar do not work. Clicking the print icon, nothing happens. Clicking the icons to fit window width do not work. Clicking the down arrow to show next page doesn't work, etc.
Has anyone experienced this and enabled a cure?

To repair do this:
1. Go to START->Control Panel->Uninstall a Program
2. Select Adobe Reader X(10.1.2) -> right-click->change> select the first option which mentions"Repair ...."
Can you make sure in the step 2 that mentions adobe reader X(10.1.2) and no other version?
Are toolbars working if you open PDF directly using Reader X?

you have a security sandbox issue or popup blocker.
test with your swf/embedding html uploaded to a server.

Movie Project doesn't work

I've just installed the Apple box set bringing me up to date with iLife11 and the latest OS and I really wish I hadn't spent the money.
Apart from the fact my Tascam interface doesn't work now and I can't use Logic, GB is taking forever to load and everything appears to run much slower.
But enough of that..
I've tried to open a movie project but after it opens I just get the spinning beach ball before I get a chance to do anything. I've had to force quit GB each time as I can't get past the SBB.
Anyone else had similar issues?

Are you sure you used the same framerate and drop frame?

Edge animation doesn't work when on the net

Hi
Built the Muse site. Placed the Edge Animate .oam file in the pages. Tested it in the browsers. All running great.
BUT now when I upload the site to the net, the Edge Animate animation doesn't work in any of the browsers.
Why not?
Am I meant to be uploading other files with the animation?
How can I remedy to make it all work…as it should?

Keyboard Event Listener doesn't work in Browser

Is there a reason why a keyboard event listener would not work if the flash is embedded in an HTML? The rest of my game is running fine in the background, but I can't launch the movieClip "nextCar." My code is below, if that makes any difference...

This may be a silly question, but have you tryed clicking on your swf after it opens up in the browser, and then trying the keyboard controls?
I don't know of any issues that cause event listeners to workwhen debugging, but not in a browser. So, I'm thinking maybe your just not focused on the swf.

Lightroom 5.3 Export "Short Edge" sizing doesn't work

Exporting images in LR 5.3 with resize setting of "short edge" does not re-size the image at all when the option for "do not enlarge" is checked. Instead it simply exports the full sized image. This happens even if you are trying to downsize an image (in my case from a 24MP image to one that is 800px wide), in other words you are not enlarging the photos so the option for "do not enlarge" should not apply.
Other sizing options like "long edge" appear to work as expected.
Have tried restarting LR but no effect. Have tried changing export setting and then changing back to "short edge", again no effect.
I'm sure this was working in the previous version......

Applet doesn't work in Browser

Hello.
I've programmed an applet in which I read from a txt-file. When I compile it there are no error messages and the applet runs without mistakes. But when I want to watch it on my internet server, the applet only shows the grey backgorund and no textareas. It has to show an textarea in which text flys across. It works with a timer. What is wong? can you help me?

I don't get any error messages. The applet is loaded without messages, but there nothing out of the background shown on it. I've also set setVisible(true) and pack().
Maybe it has something to do with the security exceptions, I think that too. But I've given my applet all rights to read from a file with chmod 777 in my ftp program. The textfile to read is on MY own server. Why does the browser has to give the applet the permission? It has nothing to do with the local hard disk, or did I misunderstand anything?

Flip4mac doesn't work at browser website , cannot play wmv file.

Completed Project Doesn't work When Deployed FilePermission Error

I have been slaving away over an applet for the past several weeks, and I have finally gotten it finished. When I tried to upload it to MY web server, it suddenly stopped working. The applet itself reads files from the directory in which it is run, and apparently even when these files are given a 777 permission, the applet still can't read them. I'm baffled as to what's going on.
For the HTML code, I am using

I can't imagine how to fix this problem!

        }I think you are right that you shouldn't have to sign the applet if the file is coming from the same web server the applet is deployed on.

Try to open the right-click context menu of the Back button and see if you can go back further.
The current active entry in that list has a bullet in front of it.
If you hover an entry in that session history list then it shows the direction by adding an arrow at the left.
You can left click an item to open it in the current tab or middle-click or Ctrl left-click an entry in that list to open that link in new tab, just like you can with other links.
