Edge Reflow and Inspect

I am trying to add the Edge Reflow and Edge Inspect to a package that I want to create, but
I only see Edge Animate. Can these two apps be added to a package using Creative Cloud Packager?

Unfortunately right now we do not have any option to add Edge Reflow and Edge Inspect in CCP. You will have to install it individually on all the machines.

Is it possible to import dreamweaver files and muse files to edge reflow and vice versa?

Hi there are certain things that I can do using edge reflow such as making a mobile and tablet site.
There are certain things I can do with dreamweaver such as making a form with a drop down box.
And there are certain things I can do with muse such as inserting a google maps and paypal widget.
Is it possible to interchange files with these 3 software?

For Muse you can make a mobile/Tablet/Desktop version, it just won't be responsive. So you can't directly pull in HTML from Reflow as page structure. If it has to be responsive use Reflow or Dreamweaver.
Regarding sharing elements between the three you get the very vague answer of "are you good with code?"
As a general rule forget about doing anything with Muse files in any other piece of software. Where you have the cross-over is in the raw generated HTML.

Adobe Edge Reflow and Phonegap: To Build a Ipad and Smartphone app

Hi please I need some advise. We are about to start a project for a client and we've been thinking that we don't want to build the tablet app separately and also the phone app separately. So we decided to use Adobe edge reflow to start the design in the tablet form first and set breakpoints for the phone app so that a single app can be downloaded from the store for both phones and tablets. The intention of course is that we are building a responsive app. Is this workflow the right decision before we start pumping in time and human resources?

Not sure if this helps you. I'm going through the same problem. Even raised this issue here in the forum and nobody could help me. So I sought help forum PhoneGapBuild. Looks like PhoneGapBuild not recognize <audio> of html5, so need to use api audio PhoneGapBuild own. Here's a link to my post. Tutorial on how to make by Chris Griffith. I hope this helps you too.

Edge Reflow and responsive Bootstrap

Is it possible to use Adobe Edge Reflow with an existing front-end framework like Bootstrap?
It would be nice to be able to work and modify Bootstrap elements (like buttons and forms) in Reflow. Do the responsive layouts. And then export CSS that could be used with the Responsive Bootstrap Framework.

Please do! I think the possibility to work with the leading standard frameworks (ie Bootstrap) is a huge success factor for this editor. My first impression is that it seems like a nice program. Designing in Photoshop is slow when it comes to responsive layout. And the fact that the PS renders fonts so different from the webkit engine and lacks CSS effects meens that designers have to look for something else. But if this prg is going to be a "hit" it have to output decent HTML/CSS.

Edge Reflow and Animate Integration coming soon?

Will there be a way to bring in Edge Animate .oam files into reflow? Really digging both programs. Would like to use together.

How can I get Edge Inspect inside Edge Reflow talk to the android and Chrome app?

I have Edge Reflow and Edge Inspect updated. I have the app for Android and Chrome. None see each other. Should I delete them all and re-start the install?

Does Photography plan include Edge Reflow?

I have been trying to figure out which applications are included with Create Cloud Photography plan. I currently subscribe to the plan and in addition to Photoshop and Lightroom, I also have the ability to install Bridge, Edge Code (Preview), Edge Inspect, Edge Reflow (Preview) Extension Manager, Exchange Panel and Scout.
So, although the plan description states that the Photography plan includes Photoshop and Lightroom, it appears to also include several other programs. My question specifically is about Edge Reflow (which I have installed and have been using) and Edge Code. Are Edge Reflow and Code included in the Photography bundle or will it stop working once they are no longer a "Preview".

Muse can't be 100% Responsive due to the Edge Reflow ?

Hi ,
I wanted Muse to be responsive from the first time i used it. But then i came to know about Edge Reflow and how it is used to create responsive experience and all that......
I was wondering with so many updates and changes to Muse and so so so so many requests from the users of Muse , The Muse hasn't been 100% responsive. Is it just me or is it due to the
fact that Adobe Edge Reflow also happen to be in the Adobe family and due to Reflow......Muse cannot be responsive willingly by the Team. I mean there must be different Teams for Reflow and Muse and both of them couldn't get along and all that. But come on........Everyone knows Muse is just so powerful and Easy to use and it would be great if could also create responsive experience which currently right now Reflow has been assigned to do.
If Muse is not being developed to be Responsive just due to Reflow , Then i request that , You can just end Reflow and its project. Just add all of those features in Muse. The Whole Adobe Users World wants this to happen. The Designers want this to happen. No one would care if Reflow is gone and Muse takes its responsiveness.
Everyone wants a powerful Muse.

Edge Reflow + Animate workflow.

I've already added my vote for that in the "ideas" section but I wanted to post a website that I'm working on that integrates the workflow... meaning I started the layout in Edge Reflow and then added Edge Animate assets.
Utimately I have to finish the whole thing in raw code only because the 2 programs are really not compatible in any way that makes sense. All I can take from that is there must be some other program in the works that will take these assets and make them work together -- however my desire is to simply begin a design in Edge Reflow and finish the work in Edge Animate.
Anyway, here's the website (low on content at the moment) that shows the workflow I'm after as a proof of concept.
If you dig into the CSS you will see that I customized the code to allow for a easier hand-editing approach... but obviously this is somewhat limited in that Edge Animate outputs javascript styling instead. I could deal with one or the other, but having to manage both is really a pain in the butt... so I would prefer it all in javascript for compatibility with Edge Animate.

Thanks for the feedback! I think your general view is right. Even if you were only using just one of the products, you would still need to do some final hand coding at the end to get the site to be the way you want. We definitely want to make it easier to use the two products together and smooth the whole overall workflow. The goal isn't to ever elminate the need to hand code, but make it really easy to move the relevant parts of code to where you want them to go. We're just starting on this path so your experience and comments on workflow are really valuable.

I'm confused on how these new Edge products will work into the product line in relation to Dreamweaver. Dreamweaver CS6 has some very effective responsive web design capabilities which I am using heavily, but it seems like with Edge Reflow and Edge Code, Adobe might be steering things in a different direction.
I am a developer, and spend a good portion of my days in Dreamweaver. I've also got a substantial investment on Dreamweaver extensions. Can you shed some light on how Edge products are meant to complement or compete with Dreamweaver? It seems like you need to sell Dreamweaver and the Edge products to the same audience. How's that going to work?

Trying to download Edge Reflow but it doesn't work

Hi,
I'm not a CC subscriber, but I want to try Edge Reflow and clicked on the big blue Download button (https://creative.adobe.com/products/reflow?promoid=KFKMR). It popped open a dialog and immediately just crashed (then the standard Apple crash dialog opens asking me if I want to send in a crash report). It's been doing this since 3pm this afternoon when I first tried. It's 10:30pm PST now. Any help would be appreciated.
I'm using a retina MacBookPro, 10.9.2. Tried downloading from both Chrome (Version 34.0.1847.116) and FireFox (28.0).

Nickname338866 did you recently upgrade your MacBook Pro or transfer files from another computer? Based off your screen shot it appears you are using an older version of the Adobe Application Manager utilized for Mac OS 10.6.8 computers.
I would recommend you complete the following steps to reinstall Edge Reflow:
Run all available Adobe uninstallers located in the Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder
Using Safari or FireFox please go to https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud
Download and install the Creative Cloud Desktop application
Reinstall Edge Reflow through the Creative Cloud Desktop application by following the steps listed in Install and update apps - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html.
Finally in regard to error you received in Chrome please see Error referring to aam protocol when you click download button | CC - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-download-button-gives-aam.html. I would recommend you work on resolving the error in Chrome separately as you can utilize a different web browser to install Edge Reflow and the Creative Cloud Desktop application.

Does Edge Reflow supports any of the existing frameworks like "Bootstrap"?

Can anyone tell me if Edge Reflow supports any of the frameworks out there like "Bootstrap, Foundation"?
Also, the html and CSS are given to me is separated by theme and core files?

Tengo una duda, acabo de descargar reflow y quisiera saber si puedo exportar por ejemplo el efecto parallax a reflow directo de Muse.
O en su defecto, puedo hacer algo parecido al efecto parallax en edge reflow?
De verdad me gustaría saber y mejor dicho me urge saber.
Ayer redacté una pregunta de muse y no me expliqué bien eso es todo.
P.d. es que no quiero trabajar en muse porque no hace la página responsiva.

I can't download the Adobe Edge Reflow. The file's downloading is successfull but the file doesn't go to my Creative Cloud so I can't install the programme. I have already install the Photoshop CC and the Reflow Plug-in for Photoshop. May I ask help? :) T

1. I am running on Windows 8.1
2. When running the installer file from https://creative.adobe.com/products/download/reflow I get the following choice
I click "OK" which doesn't do anything for me (CC is off).
I turn CC on and run the installer again. I get the following window that within few settings disappears:
Then - just for half a second it says "Launching Creative Cloud desktop" and then it brings CC to front, and that's all.
RF still not there.
3. I spoke ta support agent on the Adobe chat on Friday. He looked into my computer for an hour. Uninstalled After Effects (after failing to update it). For some reason all apps disappeared from the list. They then reappeared after he opened PS.
This morning After Effects is still showing up in my system and is operational.
Weird.
4. At the end the agent suggested maybe Firewall is the problem here. Trying that out now.
