Edge Reflow CC showing as installed, yet it is not.

Hey Eveyone,
So I've been at this all day, yet things just seem to be getting worse. So far:
Tried to sync up Reflow CC with Photoshop CC with no luck. Re-started, re-downloaded, re installed and again, no syncing was possible. Searched for a plug-in people mentioned I could manuallly install, no luck finding. Chatted with support, and was told to call as I needed more of a "specialized techinal support". Called, spoke to nice man who was supposed to transfer me to a "specialist" who could further assist me, but after 40 mins of waiting on the phone, I hung up. Re-started, re-downloaded, re installed AGAIN, only this time Edge Reflow promped and error message when I tried opening it: "...Environment No Longer Supported...".
Went back to scowering the internet and forums in hopes to find the solution, but nothing I haven't tried was coming up, so I went ahead and deleted CC off of my computer using the the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool and went ahead and re-downloaded, re-installed again, only to find that once I opened CC, it shows Edge Reflow as installed, yet It's not on my computer!
Although Edge Reflow isn't one of the main tools (yet) in my workflow, and I know It's still in beta, I'm already pretty frustrated with the whole process so far in terms of getting it to work. It looks like it has a lot of potential and really wanted to give a try...
Any suggestions or help with this, would be greatly appreciated.

Shows as installed, but it's not

Muse and Lightroom show as installed. But they, in fact, are not.
This likely stems from the way I initially set things up. I was using my traditional licensed software but have now signed up with the cloud account. Muse and LR installed but everything had to be uninstalled due to constant crashing. So I took everything off, thought I scurbbed my machine clean of all things adobe.
Now on reinstall, these two programs show as being installed but they are not. Other programs are installing fine and working well.

By the way, I'm on a Mac OS. 10.7.5 on a mid 2010 MBP

Thank you. while this did not directly help the situation, I did stumble upon the solution.
In the Applications/utilities/adobe installers folder there were the "uninstallers" for each application that is recognized by the application manager. I ran these uninstallers and it worked, even though for Lightroom it showed only having about 4KB of information to delete. Regardless, it cleared the problem and all is now stable.

ITunes showing app installed, but, it's not installed..

Kind of a weird issue I've never seen before... But... I did a fresh restore of my iPhone 4.. I've selected a bunch of apps that I want installed on my iPhone and some just aren't showing up in the iPhone at all..
This is where it gets weird.. If I look at the app icon preview thing in iTunes it shows it on the phone, but, on the phone there is no icon. I've tried rebooting (both phone and computer) closing in and out of iTunes and it still appears this way. Oddly enough, even if I unplug my iPhone and plug it back into iTunes, the app preview shows the specific app as installed even though it's not visible (or searchable) on my iPhone.
Anyone else see this issue?

We had this problem, and it was mystifying me. Finally figured it out:
Do you have restricitons on with your phone and is the app for an age range outside those restrictions?
We had trouble installing Kik (an instant messaging app), and we figured out that the app is rated for 17+. I had set his app restriction to 12+. I guess he earned enough of my trust to upgrade the restriction.... voila! Now the app is visible!
Hope this helps some parent out there who was beating their head against the wall to solve this problem.

At one time often flash player needed special software to ensure it was uninstalled correctly, I do not think that is now the case.

Lion appstore issues - shows applications installed when they're not

Hi folks,
Lion installed (mostly) successfully.
I'm having an issue with the app store:
I needed to reboot for another driver/software installation.
I used the "pause" buttons on the App Store applications being installed.
I rebooted.
I opened up the app store to resume the downloads
One application (of the two) had the status "Installed" the other's status was "Update"
The "installed" application was not installed
The "update" application says I need to log in with the account I purchased said software but it's not installed to begin with and I am, in fact, logged in with the only account I have and have ever used.
I cleared both the app store cache (in ~/Library/Caches) and the "storeagent" cache in the same directory.
To no avail.
Any ideas?

Here's what I did, but it won't work for everyone.
I hadn't installed Lion on my existing Snow Leopard partition - I installed from scratch on a new partition.
I was able to simply copy over the apps from the other partition (but it would have also worked if they were on another Mac) and then use the App Store to update them.
That resolved my issue, but it wouldn't have if I didn't have access to another Mac or OS X installation to work with.
Cache cleaning, preference deleting worked to no avail as you noted - so I don't think we found everything, there's got to be some setting/file sitting around in a folder we just didn't find. I had fully intended to try Onyx for Lion but when I first posted this, the Titanium Software website was down.

My option to export to edge reflow isn't there in Photoshop CC 2014

We recently went to the Creative Cloud at work (from CS5) and we are running CC2014 for most items.
I'm running a similar set up at home and my export to edge reflow seems to work fine. On my work machine the option isn't even there.
I've un-installed and re-installed edge reflow, I've manually installed the plugin anything else I can do to fix this issue?

I have solved it myself after hours upon hours of research that is now completely foolish.
I feel completely stupid and here's why:
All I needed to do was go into Photoshop CC and go into Edit>preferences>performance>and select 'use graphics processor'
If you're like me and KNOW your computer is good enough to run this, make sure it's running your actual graphics card.

Missing effects installed yet not updating

I opened a project that uses effects that were missing from my system and received the red screen alert. I downloaded and installed the effects and they now appear in the effects menu in FCPX, yet FCPX is still telling me the 6 effects are missing. How do you fix this so that the effects update and apply?
They should just apply once they have been installed yet they do not. One of the effects did update when I installed it but there are 6 instances that will not.
The effects are: Alex4d Mask+4, Alex4d Mask+8 and Alex4d Mask+16. See the screengrab below showing the installed effects and also the missing effects alert for those same effects.

When you add or update an effect, title, transition etc in the effects browser, FCP will sometimes not see it until you close and reopen FCP. Even if it sees the additional effect it will not apply it to an instances in the project timeline. You have to reapply it. One would think in your case where the effect was missing it would automatically add it once it appeared in the browser but perhaps not. I would relaunch FCP and see if that fixes it. If not then You will need to reapply the masks.

Does Photography plan include Edge Reflow?

I have been trying to figure out which applications are included with Create Cloud Photography plan. I currently subscribe to the plan and in addition to Photoshop and Lightroom, I also have the ability to install Bridge, Edge Code (Preview), Edge Inspect, Edge Reflow (Preview) Extension Manager, Exchange Panel and Scout.
So, although the plan description states that the Photography plan includes Photoshop and Lightroom, it appears to also include several other programs. My question specifically is about Edge Reflow (which I have installed and have been using) and Edge Code. Are Edge Reflow and Code included in the Photography bundle or will it stop working once they are no longer a "Preview".

SCCM 2012R2 Report or Query to show recently installed software

Hi All,
It appears necessary to run a report or query to show recently installed applications that have not been deployed by SCCM.
the report will need to show the pc name the software that has been installed and the user account that the software has been installed by.
Any ideas on how to do this ?

AAM listing Photoshop as installed, but it is not.

I know why this is occuring, but not how to fix it. I had to do a system restore and intially the Adobe Application Manager would not run at all, I fixed that problem by patching the program with the manual update, but Photoshop is showing as installed, which it is not anymore. How do I get the AAM to recognize that Photoshop is no longer on the computer so that I can reinstall? Thanks.

Are you sure that you donot have PS CS6 installed on this machine? You can check that from Control Panel.
If still same issue, you might need to re-install AAM. Try the below suggestions and check :
>> Download and install the Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
>> Extract and run it.
>> Select "e" for English.
>> Hit "Y" for Yes if asked.
>> Select Option 3 for Creative Cloud.

1. I am running on Windows 8.1
2. When running the installer file from https://creative.adobe.com/products/download/reflow I get the following choice
I click "OK" which doesn't do anything for me (CC is off).
I turn CC on and run the installer again. I get the following window that within few settings disappears:
Then - just for half a second it says "Launching Creative Cloud desktop" and then it brings CC to front, and that's all.
RF still not there.
3. I spoke ta support agent on the Adobe chat on Friday. He looked into my computer for an hour. Uninstalled After Effects (after failing to update it). For some reason all apps disappeared from the list. They then reappeared after he opened PS.
This morning After Effects is still showing up in my system and is operational.
Weird.
4. At the end the agent suggested maybe Firewall is the problem here. Trying that out now.

CC client says Edge Reflow is installed but its not

I read and followed each instruction in this post but nothing worked.

Windows 8 gave me a 2503 error when trying to uninstall Edge Reflow through the windows uninstaller. I searched several kew words for the reflow folder location and found nothing. I went in and deleted the registry values for Reflow (just old installer temp strings). Still, CC sees it as installed.
How does the client detect what is installed?

I tried the 64 bit installer, no dice. Still a 2503 and 2502 error.
I did some more research on the 2503 and 2502 errors. I checked all the permissions and files and they were all correct. I had already deleted a folder string with Reflow file names in it under C:\windows\installers and Edge still showed in the CC client. I found a script that checked to see which installers files are being used in that directory. I deleted the ones that weren't and no CC client does not see Edge installed anymore.
As for the cause. I believe it was when I upgraded from Windows 8 to 8.1. Several of my apps uninstalled themselves and I believe this is why I discovered my adobe products were no where to be found / except for Edge reflow. It must have been an isolated error to not get rid of an installer package.

Actually I ran into another related issue. I went to uninstall to make sure it was fixed, ran into 2503 and 2502 again. I tried uninstalled through the control panel. Didn't work. I went into the windows\installer and manually clicked the .msi. It went all the way to copying files and then errors popped up again with Edge Reflowed still installed. It seems like the issues are still permissions on my end I need to configure.
This means the issues were caused by Windows 8 trying to circumvent these permissions to uninstall the program going into 8.1, couldn't and just deleted the files leaving an unclean directory. I will see how to fix this.
UPDATE:
I had to end explorer.exe and started it back up with admin privledges through task managers.This got the uninstaller (in the windows\installer directory) to work to a point. Now I am getting "A network error occured while attempting to read from the file: 'C:\windows\installer\edge_Reflow_preview_7_LREF.msi'" which then the uninstaller rolls back actions and Edge is still installed.
However, running the windows control panel uninstaller worked and CC client doesn't see Edge. Also, I just realized under the specs for Edge Reflow, Windows 8.1 is not supported. Windows 8.1 screwed a lot of installer packages over with compatibility with permissions.
