Edge Reflow project generated from Photoshop, images are blank
I am trying to generate an Edge Reflow project from Photoshop. When I open the generated project in Rf, all the asset library files are not appearing as they do in Ps. Instead, there is an object edge with blank image and only a small image icon appears. Help, please?
I solved the problem through downloading the latest version of Edge Reflow

Opening files in CS6 Photoshop & images are blank
I just installed CS6 and tried opening CS5 psd files but they appear blank even though I can see the images in the layer thumb nails. Is there something that could be hiding the layers?
I meet thewindows system requirements but my memory usage is almost at 4GB just having photoshop open. What is causing this?
Thanks,Dear Noel,
I have had exactly the same problem when I updated my photoshop to CS6. Disabling the processor enabled me to see the imported pictures that previously had only been visible as thumbnails in the layers.
I have copied my system info and pasted it below.
Your help in this matter is very much appreciated.
David

Where is Generate Edge Reflow Project on Photoshop CC
I do not find the option "File > Generate > Edge Reflow Project" on my Photoshop CC. Why is that?
Don't know if this is relevant or unknown but it still wasn't present for me until I downloaded the plug-in sepeartly as it seems to not be installed if you installed reflow first and then photoshop, in any case it does officially work now and can be installed / activated following the instructions below, cheers!

Why won't Photoshop generate an Edge Reflow Project?
Hello
I've been trying to import my photoshop file to edge reflow, just as it's been stated in the videos but when I click generate reflow project nothing happens. There's no file created. Also, Edge reflow can't doesn't connect to Photoshop CC. I have both the latest versions of both, and they're up to date. Any help as to why is this happening would be appreciated. Thank you.You need to install the reflow plugin for PS CC. After that you nee to rename some layers to e.g "Layer1.jpg" and enable the file --> generate --> image asset option.
Finally under the same menue you are now offered the new "edge reflow project" option.
Switch back to reflow and hit the PS Button on the right. Now that reflow has a sync on ps you may import the current psd to a new page.

Is your image in the CSS (background) or the HTML (foreground)?
Try copying and pasting this code into a new, blank document. Change placehold.it images to your own. Save and preview in browsers.

I want to achieve at least one of two things: either set New Tabs to open with Google automatically; or at least, to have Google pinned to the New Tab page. (Google is my home page.) When a new page opens, all the images are blank. I've read through the Help pages & tried various things. I've tried dragging Google from the Bookmarks to the New Tab, but this only opens Google. I've tried clicking on the blank images, but nothing happens. I've toggled the blank images off for now, so at least I don't need to look at them. I am doing a university course online, so efficiency is really important to me! Those extra clicks really add up & distract!... Thanks in advance :)
# In the [[Location bar autocomplete|Location bar]], type '''about:config''' and press '''Enter'''. The about:config "''This might void your warranty!''" warning page may appear.
# Click '''I'll be careful, I promise!''', to continue to the about:config page.
# Type '''browser.newtab.url''', in the bar on the top of the page.
# Double click the first result, '''a new window should appear'''.
# Type '''www.google.com''' in the window, click ok.
# '''Open a new tab''', does it go to google? -

Creating a magazine from Photoshop Images and transferring them to InDesign
Hello,
I'm in the process of creating a magazine. I have already started created the pages including their layout in Photoshop. I have CS4 and I want to transfer those images to InDesign and also incorporate Flash to produce a web-base magazine. How do I transfer those Photoshop images (files) into InDesign and also incorporate Flash.
Attached are some finished pages so that you will have something to show me, in detail, on how this process is done, and/or IF, it can be done.Hi, smitty212.
Hopefully everyone can agree to ignore some of the dialog above.
Your question is a bit difficult, in large part because it appears that you did a lot of work in a way that could be very difficult to transfer, but you haven't given us full information about what you really have and what you need.
Generally speaking, editable text in Photoshop is not very flexible. It's not easy to manage large amounts of text there, and depending on how you have used it, it may be nearly impossible to get the text out without retyping it.
The normal use of InDesign, as you've probably gathered by now, is to place the text in text frames (either by typing or by File > Place-ing it from another application, or maybe cut-and-paste but probably not), and to place graphics in graphics frames (again, with File > Place. Never with cut-and-paste, which causes all manner of problems).
Ideally, then, you'd have all the images in your layout as seperate files, and the text, too, and you could compose the layout as normal.
The hard part will be rescuing the text. You may be able to cut and paste it out of Photoshop.
It is possible that you might be able to save some work by converting pieces of the Photoshop layout to smart objects and placing those into InDesign.
One thing to consider is how resolution-independent your output is going to be. In Photoshop, everything is a pixel. So if the work was done at a low resolution, it won't support resizing in InDesign. This is especially true of text that has been rasterized (converted to pixels). But if everything was high enough resolution in Photoshop, you may be able to get away with just placing the Photoshop images in InDesign. It won't be easily editable, but maybe that's ok.
I hope this helps. -
Exporting Photos from Lightroom 3 vs. Saving JPEGs from Photoshop IMAGE QUALITY
Hi all,
I'm not quite understanding why if I export a photo from Lightroom 3, the thumbnail looks great in Finder (if you max out display size) but when I edit the same photo from Photoshop and save it, the thumbnail image is blurry. Opening images comes out the same. I'm just being nitpicky, it's kind of annoying. Can anyone explain the difference? Thanks! -
Photoshop images are TOO big to import
I need to import color images into InDesign from Photoshop. Anything over 4MB is TOO big and it says ClipBoard failed. How do I import an image of 14MB or so into InDesign.
Thanks,
Alley Cat>Use File>Place; not copy/paste.
In almost every case, copy/paste is a TERRIBLE idea, even if you don;t run into any problem pasting... -
Photoshop images are grainy when I view/edit them
I have used Photoshop CS3 for a year now with my 15-megapixel DSLR camera and used to be able to edit photos in PS just fine. But about 2 months ago I upgraded to CS4 and since then, all my images are super grainy when viewing and editing them in PS. I know it has nothing to do with the way I'm saving the images as they show grainy in photoshop before I even do anything to them. And when uploading them online, they're still super grainy even though they weren't before back when I was using CS3
Anyone have any idea why?Well, that's the thing. The camera settings are the exact same as they were when I was running CS3 when everything was fine. The only variable that changed was installing CS4. After I did that, even though the camera settings DID NOT change, the images all of a sudden became grainy
I thought it may be a hardware issue so I upgraded the video card to one that greatly exceeds the requirements, but still no joy. I also did the Ctrl+Alt+Shift method to clear settings in case there was a rougue setting somewhere that was causing it. Still no luck -
FI documents generated from RE-FX are not being summarized
The Fi documents generated from periodic posting in RE-FX are not being summarize, even thou the have the same customer, the same flow type and account determination.
I checked the corresponding customizing Item related and the seem to be right. The system seems to be skiping this.
I have 2 conditions in the RE contract that goes to the same flow type and account determination but the document is generated with the two separated line item.
Tanks in advance
Noel.Hi Noel,
I guess you have already checked your customizing.
If you are technically interested you may have a look into the
coding to see which fields are checked and must be equal for
summarization.
class: CL_RERA_DOC_ITEM_CNDS
method: CONDENSE_APAR_ITEMS
If you set a breakpoint there and follow the program you may see why the items are not condensed.

Our FM source contains TIF images in anchored frames. RH
creates corresponding JPG files, but the files do not contain an
image (in RH or in PaintShop Pro, they show as large white
rectangles).
When installing the Tech Suite, I deselected various filters
in the FrameMaker 8 setup, but as far as I know I kept the ones I
needed. The TIF files are displayed correctly in FM 8. I have tried
re-installing FM 8 from the TechSuite setup.exe file, but there was
no option to re-select filters during the re-install.
When RH started FM, the FM Console said that parameters were
missing for various J formats (J2P etc.) I have updated the FM 8
maker.ini file with the corresponding lines from my FM7.2 maker.ini
file, and copied the dll from the 7.2 installation to the FM8
installation (all the lines referenced filters\jp2kfilter.dll). The
FM console no longer reports missing parameters, but the JPG files
in RH are still blank.
The FM 7.2 maker.ini [Filters] section has many more entries
than the FM 8 section, including:
107="TIFF" IMAG FrameVector TIFF BMPExport "TIFF"
fmexport.dll ^.tif.
I have not tried modifying this section in the FM 8 maker.ini
file, because the entries are numbered and there is already a 107=
in the FM 8 file (for an SVG filter).
I have tried specifying BMP instead of JPG in RH (Tools >
Options > Framemaker documents), but the BMPs are also blank.By completely uninstalling and reinstalling TCS, I was able
to alter my filter selections. In the re-install, everything was
selected by default. This time I just left everything selected.
Then in RH I built a completely new project. Unfortunately,
the generated images are still blank when viewed in RH or PaintShop
Pro. I've tried specifying JPG and BMP, but the result is the same.
