Hi,
Two days before i changed my domain administrator password and after that my "start edge sync" for Edge server does not work. It gives me an error " The supplied credential is invalid".

Thank you for your question.
We could try to re-create subscription file to Hub by the following steps:
1. On Edge server, run the following command :
New-EdgeSubscription -FileName "C:\EdgeSubscriptionInfo.xml"
2. Then we copy EdgeSubscriptionInfo.xml to Hub server and import by the following link:
a. In the console tree, navigate to
Organization Configuration > Hub Transport.In the result pane, click the
Edge Subscriptions tab. In the action pane, click New Edge Subscription. On the
New Edge Subscription page, click Subscription file Click
Browse, and then select an Edge Subscription file.
b. Click
New to create the new Edge Subscription.
If the issue persist, we check if there are any expired certificates on Hub server and they are not in use. We could delete it.
I suggest we collect application log to
[email protected] for our troubleshooting.

Edge Sync Issues

Hello,
Having an issue with not everything sync'ing in our Hub/Edge Servers. Our configuration is 2 edge servers with 2 hub transport servers. Confirmed all SP and RU versions are the same. We're on 2010SP2 Version 14.2. Single AD Domain.
Seems like mail flow is working correctly, and when checking the test-edgesynchronization for a recipient it's always successful.
When I run Test-EdgeSynchronization -FullCompareMode I get the results below. When I run the Start-EdgeSynchronization -ForceFullSync everything shows success.
I've also checked the Edge server's Best Practice Analyzer and I the ADAM LDAP port and ADAM Secure LDAP port are listening.
Two days ago I ran a new Edge Subcscription on both Edge Servers, copied to a hub transport server and ran the New Edge Subscription. Then ran the Start EdgeSynchronization. The results were the same.
The two that don't sync are the TransportServerConfig and RemoteDomainStatus. Should these sync and if they are not sync what's the ramifications.

EdgeSync service cannot connect to this subscription because of error "No EdgeSync credentials were found for Edge transport server

When checking Edge Synchronization on our Exchange 2010 HUB server (Test-EdgeSynchronization) I get SyncStatus "Failed". I suspect this failed after we had moved all of our Exchange 2010 servers (Except the Edge server which not member
of any domain or site) to a new site.     In hopes to resolve this, I did the following:
Removed the Edge Subscription from our HUB server using the EMC.
Deleted the cert used by ADAM on our Exchange 2010 Edge server (using the Certificates MMC).
On the Exchange 2010 Edge server created a new Edge subscription file using: “New-EdgeSubscription –FileName "C:\EdgeSubscription20150424.XML"
Restarted the "Microsoft Exchange ADAM" service on our Edge server.
Copied the "EdgeSubscription20150424.XML" to our HUB server. Then completed the New Edge subscription import on our HUB server using the MMC (specifying the AD site and location/name of the XML).
After this, I still get syncstatus failed on our HUB.   Thought to check the certificate using "Get-ExchangeCertificate | FL" but that results in: "Get-ExchangeCertificate : The Exchange Certificate operation has failed
with an exception. The error message is: Access is denied".   I tried to create a new certificate on our HUB serve using "New-ExchangeCertificate", but get the exact same "Access is denied" error message
again.
I believe we never noticed that the Edge sync wasn't working because we only use our Edge server when our hardware email filter fails (Symantec Message Gateway). Our Edge server has a lower priority in our MX record and lower priority in our send connectors
on our HUB servers. The Edge server though does receive email from internal email relay from some servers for notifications. These do get delivered unless the user mailbox is new (suspect ADAM isn't updating - that's why I started looking into
this).
This should be simple!   What am I missing???   Thanks in advance for any feedback.

By your description, we could refer to the following steps to check if issue persist:
Remove all hub servers certificate
Create a new hub server certificate with command "New-ExchangeCertificate"
Remove the edge subscription on hub & edge server
Recreate sync subscription and import it on hub server.
If the issue persist, we could Check network connectivity between the Hub Transport server and Active Directory. Use Ping to isolate network hardware problems and incompatible configurations. Use PathPing to detect packet loss over multiple-hop trips. then
run dcdiag /s:<Domain Controller Name> at a command prompt on the Exchange Server. Use the output of Dcdiag to discover the root cause of any failures or warnings that it reports. Finally Rreview the Application log for MSExchangeADAccess and MSExchange
Topology events that could provide more information about the root cause of this event and post Event ID to
[email protected] for our troubleshooting.

Exchange Online Protection (EOP) instead of EDGE server ?

Hi, we have Exchange 2010 with HUB server in LAN and EDGE in DMZ. There is an EDGE subscription on HUB and we use EDGE Sync.
We have Forefront Protection 2010 for Exchange (FPE) installed on EDGE. Our license for FPE is coming to end and because FPE is discontinued we want to replace FPE by EOP as SPAM filter and AV for our on-premises Exchange 2010.
What is the best practise in my scenario?
Should I omit EDGE 2010 server and create send and receive connectors on HUB server for direct connection to EOP? Is EOP replaces the EDGE 2010?
or
Uninstall FPE on EDGE 2010 server and create on it send and receive connectors for direct connection to EOP?

We can run the Windows Azure AD Sync Tool Configuration Wizard to set up directory synchronization. It would
synchronize user accounts in an on-premises Active Directory environment to Windows Azure Active Directory (AD), where a copy of those accounts are stored in the cloud.
Then we need to set up an Outbound connector and an Inbound connector to enable mail flow between Microsoft Exchange Online Protection (EOP) and your on-premises mail servers. Here are some references about

Exchange Server 2010 Edge Transport Subscription Issue while moving Internal CA Certificate to 3rd Party Certificate

My Client have a Exchange 2010 Organization with Single Domain Single Forest.
They were using Internal CA Certificate and a TLS Cert.
As a POC we are doing a POC for Exchange 2010 Hybrid Office 365 Environment.
For this 3rd Party CA is Mandatory and they have bought a Geo Trust Certificate.
Now when they have installed cert on both HUB as well as EDGE servers, he was prompted to do edge subscription again.
HUB and CAS are combined on the server at both Main and DR Site.
When they try to do edge subscription again they are getting the following error.

I was finding out the solution and got this.
1-Certificate will import on both EDGE and HUB Servers.
2-Edge Sync will use Self-Sign Certificate (but I an unable to find how do I configure this)
3-some communication between Edge and Hub will be encrypted via 3rd party Certificate.
Could anyone suggest, which services on HUB must based in this 3rd party cert.
All the external communication must be encrypted via 3rd party CA and communication between HUB-EDGE will set on self-sign Cert. How do I do this.

Please run Get-ExchangeCertificate | fl to check your Exchange certificate settings. Also confirm if the 5E470560626E313646730C177FCA66728E2BAFF7 certificate is your trusted 3rd party cert.
Please use Enable-ExchangeCertificate cmdlet to assign SMTP service to your self-signed certificate in your Edge server.

Need to add EDGE 2010 to Exchange 2013 Organization

I have a Exchange 2007 Organization and I am planning to Migrate to Exchange 2013 with one CAS and one Mailbox servers. I also want to have a Exchange 2010 EDGE server for Exchange 2013 servers. 1. What is the sequence of installing the servers including
2010 EDGE. 2. Should I do Exchange 2010 Schema update before doing Exchange 2013 Schema update since I am deploying Exchange 2010 as EDGE (I understand it wont be part of AD but want to know if EDGE sync will be affected if I dont do Exchange 2010 Schema update)

Once you extend schema for Ex2013 just install all roles/server (CAS and Mailbox) then if you want to continue with Ex2010 Edge just you need to do the subscrption with New Exchange 2013 servers so the sync will continue with the new servers.
You can subscribe an Exchange 2007 or Exchange 2010 Edge Transport server to an Active Directory site that contains only Exchange 2013 servers. You can import the Edge Subscription file and run EdgeSync on a standalone Exchange 2013 Mailbox server, or on

i have exchnage 2010 in our orgnization now working fine , i can send and receive emails for hub and also we have tmg and fortigate firewall(200B) , already install and configuration edge server(configure edge subscribtion file and edge sync) but still message
sent form hub and also receive form hub , what to do to receive from edge ? please help me i have 3 month search to fix his problem.

I recommend you use the Test-EdgeSynchronization cmdlet to check if the subscribed Edge Transport servers have a current and accurate synchronization status. If you have configured EdgeSynchronization successfully, please delete send connector
on Hub transport server.
Please uncheck "anonymous users" on receive connector for Hub server.
Please follow the ExchangeITPro's suggestion to check DNS MX record.

Setup Exchange2013, with Edge 2010, what are the steps

i want to install exchange 2010 with Edge Role (and typical installation in Exchange2013).
I want that all emails to be received from Edge 2010.
Now, what are the steps after i've finished the default installation:
1. on Exchange2013 create a default send connector to internet through Edge2010 or directo to mx record on internet?
2. On edge2010, will i've to create any default send/receive connector?
3. i've to create edge sync on Edge2010, export it...and import it in Exchange2013, right?
Let me know with full steps, on each of servers.

Exchange 2010 Edge Transport server expects a connection to a Hub Transport server. In Exchange 2013, the Transport service exists on the Mailbox server. Therefore, Internet mail flow occurs between the Transport service on the Mailbox server and the Edge
Transport server, which effectively bypasses the Exchange 2013 Client Access server.
You can subscribe Exchange 2010 Edge Transport server to an Active Directory site that contains only Exchange 2013 servers. You can import the Edge Subscription file and run EdgeSync on a standalone Exchange 2013 Mailbox server, or on a server where the
Mailbox server and the Client Access server are installed on the same computer. You can't import the Edge Subscription file or run EdgeSync on a standalone Exchange 2013 Client Access server.
The procedures to deploy a new Exchange 2007 or Exchange 2010 Edge Transport server in your Exchange 2013 organization are basically the same as in previous versions of Exchange. However, any procedures that are performed on the Hub Transport server are
performed on the Mailbox server in Exchange 2013.

Is it possible to remove 2010 Hub Transport entirely in an Exchange 2013 environment?

I'm using Exchange 2010 Edge Transport in our organization that I've recently upgraded to Exchange 2013. I like Edge Transport - along with our spam filter it is an effective and simple way to send and receive external e-mail - and I don't want
to get rid of it. But it seems like it needs a 2010 Hub Transport server to interact with.
Right now the only other Exchange 2010 Server I have left running in the organization is the one Hub Transport server that interacts with the Edge Server. Is there a way to undeploy this server too and connect the Edge Server directly to one of the
2013 Mailbox Servers? Or will this need to stay as part of the organization as a pair with Edge Transport?
I noticed mail flow was running just fine while the Hub Transport server was turned off. So it seems like it's possible. But I want to be able to undeploy it safely without hurting mail flow. Are there any links or white papers that show
how best do do this?

Before you remove your HUB servers, make sure you re-subscribe the Edge server using the below steps:
On Edge Server:
New-EdgeSubscription -FileName "C:\EdgeSubscription.xml"
copy the file to one of the mailbox servers, and run:
New-EdgeSubscription -FileData ([byte[]]$(Get-Content -Path "C:\EdgeSubscription.xml " -Encoding Byte -ReadCount 0)) -Site
"ADSITENAME"
once completed, most of the tasks to manage/test your Edge sync will be via PowerShell, please see the below link for more details:

Adding new Hub Transport server in existing environment

Hi everyone,
Currently we have 5 exchange servers 2010 :
2 CAS Servers (Virtual)
2 MB and Hub Transport servers (Physical)
1 Edge server in DMZ. (Virtual)
Now I have added 2 more servers
with MB and Hub Tranport Roles (VIRTUAL) and want to configure the mail flow from these new transport servers.
Can anyone help with the steps I should follow. Please note we have 1 existing Edge server in 2010 and email flow should be from Hub Transport to Edge server then from Edge to internet.
Existing environment is working fine without any issues. Main reason to do this is to virtualize the physical servers. Mailbox DB already migrated to new servers.

For mail flow to happen through new hub transport I will make the new edge subscription from new HUB server
to Edge server. Is there any other changes I have to do ?
No other changes is required
Create a new edge subscription and then import it and run start endge sync
So when I will do create the new edge subscription then it will delete the old send connectors and will
create the new one?
IT will create old edge sync and create a new edge sync which will not make any impact on your config
Will there be any downtime while doing this activity ?
Better to do this on after production hours since definitely there will be mail delay and may delay more if you try this on production hours

Please use the Test-ServiceHealth cmdlet to test whether all the Microsoft Windows services that Exchange requires on a server have started. The
Test-ServiceHealth cmdlet returns an error for any service required by a configured role when the service is set to start automatically and isn't currently running. If that service isn’t currently running, please try to leave the service startup
type set to Manual or change it to Disabled
to prevent the system from trying to automatically start the service.
In addition, please check if there is any event log in Event Viewer and post the details of any event.

Adobe Edge Inspect not syncing on ios devices?

Just trialing Edge Inspect at work. It works excellently on my Galaxy SII, but it doesn't work so well on any ios devices we have in the office, including ipads 1,2,3 and iphones 4/4S/5 (running ios5 and 6). I can get the page to sync initially but it then refuses to follow my changes from Chrome forcing me to manually refresh the desktop client or the device... which makes the whole process a little frustrating.
I'm wondering if it is possibly network related, but if so... why does it work so well on an Android device? It doesnt matter what site i look at, so i know its not a matter of page load.
Any advice, further suggestions are welcome.

Yes. Although, I had to manually put the IP into the older Kindle Fire and one of the other Android devices. I can't remember if it was the Galaxy Tab or Nexus 7 ( I believe it was the Nexus).

Do your iPhone 4 & 5 devices display any error when you try to connect?
No errors
Are you sure your devices are all on the same network as your computer?
Yes. There are actually multiple networks. We tried switching to another network to no effect. This is after shutting down the app on Master and the slaved devices.
Can you browse to a simple webpage like google.com and have the devices follow along, or do those devices not synch browse to ANY web pages?
We didn't do the google test but we did go to another site. mrtestsite.com as well as azimba.com. Browsed multiple pages on each site.
If it's only a specific web page, what's the URL of that page?

Can you check your computer for any firewall software and make sure it's disabled?
Didn't do that. Will try that again next time. Running it on the MacBook Air (10.7.5). Firewall is set to Limit Connections to Specific Devices and the EdgeInspect.applicaiton is set to Allow all Connections there.
Can you try uninstalling from the iPhones, removing all the app data, and reinstalling?
Did not do that. Will try. These were fresh installs from the app store.
What version of iOS is running on each of those devices?
Not sure. I'll check with them when I see them. Two of them are major tech heads so I'm pretty sure they're running the latest version of iOS for iPhone.
The irony of this is that I was going to be demoing the Inspect tool at an LA tech job fair sponsored by Adobe so it would be nice to resolve this issue.

when I start edge blending feature of my nvidia quadro fx 3500 driver on 2 projectors, quicktime goes out of synchronization between audio and display. it's not directly related with framerate cuz my own opengl application with quicktime sdk, renders with 300+ fps succesfully but still the video is out of sync...

your PSU is good one and should be powerfull enough.

can't be power related, since at 1st your PSU must be enough, 2nd same issue happend with your old mx 440 VGA. card malfunction are dismissed as possibility as well since its work fine in another machine.
think its drivers mess. ATI drivers(or part of them) still exist, guess is not completely removed. same symptoms happend many times when switching between Ati to NV, lagging 2D scrolling lag and etc, caused by ATI Smart (part of ATI Drivers) sometimes remain(survive after driver cleaner).
suggest you a new clean fresh OS installation. like Nv support already directed. also ensure in BIOS, in "Integrated Peripherals", "Init Display First" are configured to AGP.
let we know how its going, if problem persist we a ready with a tips to resolve your issue.
