Edge wont work on my site

Hi,I cant get edge to work on my site from a seperate folder other then the root folder. I used target directory but dont seem to be able to get it to work. I can only get it to work if I put everything in the root folder. The problem I have with that is it makes a video I created in after effects play choppy. Please HELP!!! Your assistence will be greatly appreciated!!!

If all of these fail, then make an apointment at the genius bar. If your iphone is defective and is within the warranty period, then they will replace.

The Enter key has no idea which Internet sites you're visiting. But you'll notice it works the same way when on the same websites. So this is not a hardware problem, but a problem with the websites. See if you can find a configuration or settings tab for the non-working websites. Or let the webmaster of the offending sites know about the Enter key problem.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Flashplayer wont work and web sites are weird

i have a really old mac from my moms work and i cant down load flashplayer is says somthing about damaged or incompleat

You're probably going to need Flash Player 9 I think;

Download to Desktop, double-click to unzip then open the Read Me file and note the version for PPC Mac (Plugin: flashplayer9r280_mac.dmg). Then open the folder and choose that .dmg file; double-click to start the installer and follow the instructions.
It's best to remove the existing Flash plugin before installing another version. I'm not sure if the location will be the same on 10.3, but have a look in Macintosh HD / Library / Internet Plugins. Trash the Flash Player.plugin and the flashplayer.xpt files. Don't touch anything else.
Install the version 9. Note that it may ask you to install more than once if you have more than one browser.

Flash Player wont work on BBC site only

My flash play will only play part of the video screen in flash player on my macbook pro retina. I have tied to adjust the settings but they are greyed out. I have the latest flash update installed. It seems to be only on the bbc.co.uk site. Thanks

Try using Google Chrome, which has a built-in Flash plugin distinct from the one in Safari, and see whether you have the same problem. If you watch a lot of Flash-based video, I recommend you install it anyway. Two reasons:
1) The Flash plugin is, for some reason, less resource-hungry and more efficient (at least IME) - I certainly find my MacBook Pro runs cooler and with less fan noise.
2) It allows you to uninstall the generic Flash plugin from your system, thereby disabling Flash ads in all browsers, such as Safari. This causes websites that tend to feature Flash ads etc. to load more quickly, reduces internet bandwidth use and prevents unnecessary use of the CPU - oh, and of course cuts down on the number of petit-mal seizure-inducing ads…
Google Chrome has its own built-in "Click to Play" functionality, so that, if you wish, you can even choose which Flash videos to view on a case-by-case basis.
Though it may be a pain to use only one browser for Flash, it cuts down on headaches I find. When you're using Safari and need to view Flash on a webpage, simply go to the Develop menu (enabled in Safari > Preferences > Advanced), choose "Open Page With…", select Google Chrome and voilà!

I think its a z-order issue, the button is not even getting a click event. I triggered the click event from the console on your site manually using: $("#Stage_buttonCopy").click(); and that works correctly.
Also, I tried setting the z-index to 10 (just for testing) - $("#Stage_buttonCopy").css("z-index", 10); then the click events are fired. You can check your composition and assign an appropriate z-index as required.
You might have also noticed that the mouse pointer is not changing even when you hover over the "Learn More" button even after setting - cursor: pointer. It indicates that the mouse events are not reaching the element.

.sit screensaver wont work

okay, so i'm fairly sure this is a mac screensaver. at least that's what the website said. it's .sit.

You more than likely need to download and install Stuffit Expander to uncompress the .sit file before you install the screensaver module.
For whatever reason Apple (which used to include Stuffit by default) doesn't include it. I'm sure if you have Stuffit you'll be able to uncompress the file and should install. If you need to do it manually you can place the uncompressed file in ~ (username/Home)->Library->Screen Savers if you want to install it for that user only or root level of the HD->Library->Screen Savers for every user.

Will Edge Animate work nicely with a pre-existing site that already uses some jQuery plugins?

I have a site started and I am using the Quicksand plugin for jQuery that sorts and filters objects on my page, will Edge Animate work with that code, or do I have to do something to keep everything working?

Site wont work properly?!

Hello,
I searched for the same or similar problem first but havent find my kind of problem, so I have decided to make a new thread.
My site solution is very simple, its something more like a test: www.bursac.net/student
Techically, Flash itself doesnt report any kind of problem at all. But, practically site (site is one big flash .swf movie right?) wont work as intended.
Simply, when I roll over the main word "student", text should appear and dissapear when I roll out of the word. It works for a couple of times when I do that, but after a while (or sometimes immediately) it switches around and then text dissapears when I roll over instead of opposite.
So, are there any idea what could possibly be the problem?

Torch 9800 my email wont work via wifi

I have just sync my new torch from my old bold. All info transfered perfectly including my 2 email accounts.
I have the misfortune of living in a 2G only area on remote Island. SMS, phone calls and wifi only. I had my old Bold working through wifi hot spots onto my gmail account and it was sending and receiving emails just fine but the torch just keeps saying 'activation failed. A service connection is unavailable' each time I try to activate the account.
Seems as though it wont work through wifi, i can surf the net with no problems

Turn off the WiFi connection, and go to an area where you have a clear 2G connection (EDGE) and do the following:
On your BlackBerry device, go to:

Mackeeper moved my files to my trash so i pulled them out of my trash to my desktop it has copied them to my desktop as well as kept them in my trash!!
im so confused and things are not working properly anymore such as my google chrome for example...all my book marks are gone BUT i can go to the google file which is out of place on my desktop and view all my bookmarks data...ALL of my files still exist but they are just out of place now which is making it hard for certain options on my computer to work...

Remove "MacKeeper" as follows.
"MacKeeper" has only one useful feature: it deletes itself.

from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-A. The "MacKeeper" application is in the folder that opens. Quit it if it's running, then drag it to the Trash. You'll be prompted for your login password. Click the Uninstall MacKeeper button in the dialog that appears. All the functional components of the software will be deleted. Reboot.
Failure to remove MacKeeper will result from neglecting any one of these points:
Quit MacKeeper before dragging it to the Trash.
Don't empty the Trash after dragging the application to it. Let MacKeeper delete itself.
Don't try to drag the MacKeeper icon in the Dock to the Trash.

Restore from the last backup that predates the unwanted changes.

After update 3.1 - 3G does not work after phone sits idle

Updated from 3.01 to 3.1 - went smoothly, no problems. Restored my latest backup without issue. All is good. A few minutes later I tried to make a call and it failed. I tried to access the web - failed. Rebooted phone comes up as expected. Made a call, access to web working. 10 minutes later tried to make another call - failed; access to web failed again too. Switched over to Edge, rebooted. Calls and web access work. Waited 10-15 minutes, tried again; Edge still working. Switched back to 3G, rebooted. Same issue - calls/web work initially but after a short time, all calls and web access fail. I went through the 3.1 restore process again -- started over like it was a new phone. Again, the update worked without any issues/errors. I was able to restore my backup and all was good. But, same 3G problems occurred. So just for fun, I ran the Iphone config utility and captured the console log during a phone reboot sequence. After the phone booted up calls and web access were working with 3G. Then, let the phone sit idle for a while and saw these event occur in the log; the first 5 entries were made when I successfully sent a text message. After that message was sent I let the phone sit for a while. The next couple of entries were interesting. After the 'deactivated PDP context' messages appeared I could no longer make calls or access the web with 3G. Anyone else see this?
I never ever had this problem with 3.01 software.

I thought I'd post you a quick response because you described exactly the issues I was having. After my phone was idle for a while, my iPhone would refuse to get data over 3G.
I've tested this thoroughly and I'm able to "trip up" the phone into a state where it can't download data from the 3G network. But turning airline mode on for about 30 seconds then off again resets forces a renegotiate with the cell tower/3g and everything seems to work again about a minute later.
Nothing untoward listed in the console at this point either - The PDP context that you mentioned that was deactivated was more than likely the Internet Tethering. (It's usually PDP context 1, by the looks of things).
I think I might switch off 3G and see if that helps until Apple fix this issue. It is related to the wifi issues that others have reported - As I've seen my iPhone unable to download information via 3G if wifi is turned on, but you don't connect to a wifi network. But I can't seem to reproduce this reliably.

I know in the mail form i can disable the "sort of Captcha". I wanted to disable it and insert reCaptcha instead.
I will re-make the form because like you said (and i already figured it out myself) ;

Im a hobbyist that learns really really fast.
Before March 23 i never used CSS, Javascript and XHTML. And never combined them all together with PHP. (never ever created a php based file from scratch)
The reason why i use other persons code is because i learn faster with examples, and because i dont need to reinvent the wheel if someone already invented it. The only thing i do with it is learn the workings, customise it and at last, rewrite the code when i understand it.

I think it was Nancy O. that gave me the link to the validator. Thats how i discovered the service.
You need to know that in 1 day (from 63 errors and 12 warnings) i removed all errors. And i didnt knew much about it, and why errors happend while the site looks fine.
So im just curious how things work and thats why i "steal" codes and adjust them to learn myself.
I also want a education like you spoke of, but im interested in a different media.

Adobe 10.2 flash player doesn't work on some site with diff browsers

WTF! I've been through every forum about new adobe flash player it doesnt work on some site i.e facebook, ustream, fox news, dailymotion and cartoon network...Nobody, not even adobe has a real solution to this problem! Some site stream good other don't at all. All I get is a blue box in the display sometimes it loads, but doesn't play the video or games. Updated Java and SWF and by the way this a brand new computer fresh out the box WIN7 64 worked before why not now! I've reinstall and uninstall, checked active X java scripting, and global settings and so on, but nothing seems to work. WHY? Global settings doesn't work for some unknown reason can't enable some of the settings. Everything work fine on my PC before the update, so go figure adobe. No! browser works with the new flash player properly. Fire, IE, Safari, and Opera none of these browser work with the flash player like it should! HELP!!! I don't understand - in your post you mention "new Flash Player" several times, but in the subject you mention 10.2...?
What is the exact FP version you have?
For your blue box problem, have you tried to disable Hardware Acceleration?

My lap top wont import pictures from auto play. it keeps saying there is a file error and a device connected to the computer isnt working properly. i have tried going into the internal storage to copy and paste the pictures but this wont work either.

I finally accomplished this oh so majorly difficult task (because we all know how difficult it should be to save a file with a new extension) by pressing duplicate and then saving a copy of the file with a new extension. Yet then I had to delete the first copy and send it to trash. And of course then I have to secure empty trash because if I have to do this the rest of my mac's life I will be taking up a quarter of percentage of space with duplicate files. So this is the real reason they got rid of Save As: so that it would garble up some extra GB on the ole hard disk.
So about 20 minutes of my time were wasted while doing my homework and studying for an exam because I had to look up "how to save a file with a new extension in mac Lion" and then wasted time sitting here and ranting on this forum until someone over at Apple wakes up from their OSX-coma.
are you freaking kidding me Apple? I mean REALLY?!!!! who the heck designed this?!!! I want to know. I want his or her name and I want to sit down with them and have a long chat. and then I'd probably splash cold water on their face to wake them up.
I am starting to believe that Apple is Satan.
