EDI 852 requirement mapping

Hi All,
We have to configure EDI 852 scenario using Seeburger Adapter. We have xsd of 852, what else I need to start the develeopment?
Do I need to create the Mapping using BIC mapping, if yes then from where I can get the BIC mapping tool?
Or we have standard mapping provided by seeburger?
Please advice.

Can anyone of you please tell me about the inbound edi 852?
What would the IDoc file look like? What are the mandatory fields and what values should go in there etc...
Also , what transaction or tables are being accessed in SAP to post this data.

In the E1ADRM1 segment, what values should we get?
The values should be 'WE' for customer and 'LF' for supplier.
Also where r the checks performed ? VOE2 , VOE4 ?
The data check is performed in FM IDOC_INPUT_PROACT.
Do you have any sample Idoc file for inbound 852?
Sorry, I don't have any IDoc sample. But you can use WE19 (Test tool) to simulate the IDoc and try to process using standard FM IDOC_INPUT_PROACT.

EDI 852 Message Type

Hello All,
Does any one know the standard SAP message type for EDI-852 message from the partner?
SAP suggests PROACT is the standard one, but the same is being used for 830/845 which are completely different from 852.

Module-specific checklist for business process requirements mapping?

Hi,
I am looking for some ASAP tools to support the business process requirements mapping phase of an implementation. The best would be to have a checklist, a sheet of questions to ask during the meetings so that each requirements are considered when creating the business processes in solution manager.

CPU: i5 2500k @ stock 3.3ghz
DVD drive: Sony (don't know exactly)

I'm getting this message

I don't get that message when I take out or put in a new stick of RAM. Instead, I can go the BIOS and change settings or load default settings. If I choose default settings/boot then I get the message.
Any help please. Please don't tell me it's DOA :(

Can you further explain on this part?
Do you already have an OS installed to the system? If you do, does the message pops up when you do the OS installation?

MSI Z77A-GD65 Cannot Find Required Map Name

Hello, I am trying to do my first build ever and ran into an error with the MSI 7ZZA-GD65 motherboard. I tried to do a build outside of the case to make sure everything was running and I got an error when booting up my system. It states.

There isn't much plugged into the board right now I have.
CPU: Intel i5-3570k
RAM: 1 stick Billistix in slot DIMM 1
GPU: Asus Gtx 660ti
PSU: Seasonic M12 II 620w Bronze
I couldn't find anyone else getting the error so I posted here. Please help if you can.

Is that the second slot from the CPU ? If not, then insert it into that second slot. Afterwards do a full CMOS clear, and then retest.
Also remove that GPU card for now and test with only the onboard graphics.

EDI 855 messgae mapping to ORDRSP

I would like to map Vendor confirmation number coming from EDI 855 to the ORDRSP idoc.
Please suggest which segment with qualifier and fields in it can be used for this purpose to log the confirmation number in SAP.

I have tried this option at header level (E1EDK02-002) and item level (E1EDP02-002)too previously, but it is not working.
I'm currently working in SAP 4,7 version, do I need to implement any notes to accept the vendor number and update externaldoc number?
In the standard SAP code before updating vendor number... item details are checking against PO, If I give PO number it is updating the same at External doc number.

EDi to IDOC mapping

HI,
i need to map an EDI to an IDOC. the number of times a particular field occurs in the EDI structure, the same number of times the corresponding group of values has to be created in the IDOC.
i am getting the source node but not the fields inside it.
eg:
G_SHL
---S_HL
D_735 (value = P)
G_SHL
---S_HL
D_735 (value = P)
Output structure :
ZE1EDL37
EXIDV
the root node (ZE1EDL37) is getting created two times (if D_735 occurs 2 times) but the field inside it (EXIDV) is not gettting created the second time.

The thing here is the EXIDV field has to be mapped to another values based on a condition. which is different from the previous one. which i did for ZE1EDL37.
the value is getting supressed. there is an if condition whose output has to be given to the destination field. the values are coming till that IF. they r getting supressed there.
the node (header) id getting duplicated but the fields inside it are not getting duplicated.

Currently there is example available.
In the thread [can MII read edifact|Re: can MII read edifact?; Jeremy mentioned an idea which may be interesting for you. Have a look at the following Wikipedia article about [XML/EDIFACT|http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XML/EDIFACT]. Use case 1 proposes to use a converter build a XML file from the original Edifact message. Then you can process that XML with MII.
Maybe this helps.

Once a Seeburger sender adapter will pick the data from the EDI file's location it will have a seeburger provided map (Name will be addaed in the module of the Sender AS2 adapter)

BIC is not Adapter , it is a BIC mapper EDI tool , and we need to use BIC modules in Other Adapter configuration like OFTP . similarly we have AS2 and VAN and other kind of Seeburger Adapters ..

Requirement mapping.

Hi SAP Professionals,
I'm not getting any clue how to map the following requirement? Please go through the scenario.
Scenario:
After Inquiry preparation following acitivities should done:
1. look up of the finished product availability; whether it is present or likely to be present within the required delivery duration. If it is available it is soft blocked. But all this could not reserve the finished product could not reserve the available capacities.
2. If it is not available, the inquiry is sent to Production Planning Incharge, who will calculate and forward "Delivery Lead Time Response".
Is it possible in standard SAP system to calculate "Delivery Lead Time Response" after Inquiry creation and before creation of quotation?

we mapped the above mentioned process as below.
1. Creta Enquiry (VA11)
a. Automatic mail trigerred to Head PPC through Workflow
b. Display Enquiry list (VA15)
Workaround:
2. Get the appropriate Lot/Quantity from Enquiry created by SD user. Select Appropriate Routing Counter (CA02) and run 'Scheduling' transaction using 'Extra' on Menu Bar.
3. Update Material Master for FG for that specific lot (CA96). Lot size dependent Inhouse Production Time will be reflected in 'Workscheduling' view of FG Material Master Record.
4. While creating Quotation this time will automatically reflected as Schedule lines for the manufacturing of that FG.
Note: I'm not that much assured whether Updation from Routing of FG will take 'Material Lead Time' into consideration?
Optimistic Solution:
2. While creating/chaging Enquiry (VA11 or VA12) using GATP logic of APO-PPDS one can check the Production Delivery Date taking Material as well as Operation Lead time, even taking SD lead time into consideration. Even he can check the present Capacity Load and the Scheduling workcenter wise/order wise. It is also possible at Quotation Creation Level. Even using this logic we can see bucket scheduling (of 15 days) and many more as per client expectations and SAP Product strength.

EDI 821 and EDI 823 field mapping file and basic IDOC type and message type

Hi All,
We are facing some issues regarding EDI 821 and EDI 823 file mappings.
We are mapping EDI 821 and EDI 823 transactions into SAP using IDOCs. Currently we are using the below entries
EDI 823 - Lock Box
Basic IDOC type - FINSTA01
Message type - FINSTA
Process Code - FINS
The problem is we are able to get the IDOC into SAP with status red and the various errors were due to not able to create the lockbox entry in SAP and once we got yellow status also but the lock box entry was not created and the errors are like No Conversions,no header etc.
EDI 821 -
Basic IDOC type - PEXR2002
Message type - PAYEXT OR REMADV
Process Code - PEXC OR REMA
We are facing the same problem here also and the internal payment order is not creating in SAP and IDOC was generated with yellow status and red status.
We are trying different combinations but nothing is working so far.
I need the following things to proceed furthur.
1)Are the IDOC , Message and process codes are correct that I am using now for both EDI 821 and EDI 823
2)If those are not correct, can you please let me know the correct entries
3) Please provide me the field mapping if any one of you have worked earlier for both the above IDOC and message type or new ones and we have one field mapping now but if you can send it to me then I can re check it.
4) Do we have to create any configuraion or customizing in SAP to create the IDOC in green status and if so please let me know the customizing steps and procedures for both EDI 821 and EDI 823.

Hi Ramesh,
I believe you are using those interfaces with the business partner type as Bank, Whatever idoc type, message type and process code you have used are perfectly correct.
First of all did you enable your bank for EDI, the house bank has to be EDI enabled first then only your idoc's can be processed, talk to your fi functional consultant and he might help you.
