EDI errors with F110

Hello All,
Thanks for looking at this.
We have a problem with F110 where its not generating a few Idocs. I can see that on the payment log which below

As you can see the payment run generates the accounting doc.no but  not the idocs associated with it for only some. I can see that in WE02 for that date. The strange thing is it works fine on some days & does not on some days.
All useful replies will be rewarded.

Hi SK,
I hope your problem is in the payment methods. Go to FBZP payment methods in country and check whether the print program is RFFOEDI1 and LIST7S.
Then in the Payment Method in Company Code check the form it must be selected as EDI for supporting form also.
Then in the House Bank under EDI go and see whether the payment methods which are required for IDOC generation has been given under that.
If these settings all are correct, then certainly IDOC's will be populated.
I hope your problem will be solved.
regards
srikanth.

    Hi Jayakrishnan,
thanks a lot for your answer.
SM59 is working finde. In IDX1 I got the the correct RFC destination entered and a double click works fine also.
The other way around R3 -> XI -> mq series is working fine. Here we are trying mq -> XI -> R3 and it stops sending from XI to R/3.
How to check the IDOC type?

  • ACH Edi  error report

I am currently working on setting up ACH process for a client using the SAP's standard IDOC process. Once the bank receives the ACH Idoc, if there any errors such as vendor account number missing, they send an edi error file back. Client is asking if there a way to set up SAP to automatically reverse the payment for that particular vendor upon receiving the error file from the bank.
Please advice if anybody has experience with this scenario.

I am not convinced that your error has much, if anything, to do with Oracle.
In the future use COPY & PASTE so we can really see what you actually do & what the complete response is.

  • Error in F110 (Payment run 07/28/2011 1008I is intended for cross-payment )

    Hi,
We are getting error in F110 Automatic Payment run.
Proposal and Payment run are getting created , But when we run the printout step it is giving the following error
    1. Payment run 07/28/2011 1008I is intended for cross-payment run payment media                    FZ           110          S
    2. No Record found
Please help me if any one has worked on same senario.
    Thanks,
    Babumiya Mohammad

    Hi Babumiya,
Please check FBZP setting for the payment run - Company Code , Country Code - for the corresoonding Payment method.
The form with driver program will trigger for the above combination ( as whatever is detailed out in FBZP transaction code).
While triggering the payment run, do check whether the standard job has been created or not (F110*).

  • Payment requests created from In-House Cash - error with PAYEXT IDOC

    Hello -
I am getting getting a '51' error with my inboud PAYEXT IDOC and the payment request cannot be created and the IDOC error is : Error creating the payment requests - no valid payment method available.
I have checked the Route process config in IHC and it looks good (or I think so).  I then checked the IHC config: Set Up of payment request for inbound IDOC in FI and am wondering about the Processing Parameters set up.  In this config, I see 2 payment methods field (Payment Method for This Payment) and (List of the Payment Methods to be Considered).   Can somebody tell me what's the difference between these two fields and since my payment method is not in the List of PM to be considered, could that be causing my erorr?
Any guidance would greatly be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Becky

    Hi Odaiah
I am in ECC 5.0 and when I view IMG activity IHC_VC_INB_CUST, there's a field called:
Payment Method for This Payment(Payment method used to settle open items)
and another field called List of the Payment Methods to be Considered.
The invoice was paid via payment method 'W' and in our system, we are using IHC to make payments on behalf.  So after running F110 for payment method 'W', the IDOC gets created and sent to IHC to process.  IHC will then create the payment request (IDOC PAYEXT) which will then get process by F111.  Since the IDOC is failing, the payment request is not getting created.   You mentioned to get an ABAPer to throw in debug, I would love to but does not know the program that this process is running through. I tried putting it in debug from WE02 (IDOC processing) but with no success.

  • Determining which EDI Error Messages are related to "Tasks"

Our company uses EDI heavily and have many errors which our business community wiill process.   I do not know how other companies are handling this "EDI workflow", but we do this through transaction PPOM.   We have created an overall EDIORG organization along with positions for different areas of responsibility.  We then need to assign the "appropriate tasks" to each position & also assign the correct position to the Partner profiles to ensure the correct people see the errors.
My question is how can II determine which "Tasks" are assign to the specific message errors that end up coming in?    Most Tasks are by Idoc type --- do I just have to assume that any error related to that IDoc type would be covered?
Thanks so much for any input as to "Controlling the EDI Error processing" by business users!
    Britte

    Hi surya,
You are saying 1122124 is IDOC numner & its not relevant to this idoc.
What it means, can u explain??? Actually there will be a chance an IDOC can mapped to N no of documents. This mapping will done through a BADI internally.

  • EDI problem with ABRVW field

    Hi,
please excuse me if my question is silly but I really need help. I am receiving EDI errors in my supplier's AVIEXPs because the field ABRVW in the iDOCs he sends for one particular reference has the value "X" instead of "E". My supplier is unable to fix the problem, they say they are unable to locate the ABRVW field. I am a basic user of SAP so I cannot help them. Where can my supplier find the ABRVW field, and what must they do to change its vaue?
Thanks in advance for your help!

You are probably correct... but there is no harm in checking..  Check with your middle ware and find out if they are doing any mapping for this field in the IDOC (Usage indicator)...  If they are using values AS-IS, then your supplier is probably not having the correct reference...
If your supplier is also using SAP, this field ABRVW is part of Customer master, VBAK, VBAP and so on... Most like they are not maintaining correct value for ABRVW in their Customer master or Sales order.

  • Task ALE/EDI: Error handl cannot be started immediately

When an IDOC is being created in SAP(3.1I) from an external system(Gentran GIS), it is added with errors status 56. The error text states as 'Task ALE/EDI: Error handl cannot be started immediately
'The task ALE/EDI: Error handl (no. TS00008068) cannot be started immediately by user GIS'.
Can anyone advise where the user 'GIS' need to be added to avoid getting that IDOC error

    Hi Bhaskara,
This can be caused by several issues:
    1. The user GIS has NO authorization to run workflows or to run this specific workflow task (TS00008068).
    2. The user GIS has NO authorization to run function module EDI_ROLE_FOR_PROCESSING (or when running this function module it will return data in the ACTOR_TAB, which means that the workflow cannot be started by default users).
    3. Within the partnerprofile (transaction WE20) at the specific inbound parameters for the message on the tab "Post processing: permitted agent) an agent has been defined that will not resolve to the user GIS (and therefore this user is NOT allowed to do post processing).
Most likely issue 3 is here at hand. If this is the case, REMOVE the entry for the agent (or consider to setup an organisational unit/work center and make GIS a member).
The error, by the way, is an inbound processing error. It is possible that in the ALE layer something has not been defined properly.
Within the partnerprofile (transaction WE20) at the specific inbound parameters for the message on the tab "Inbound options" and double-click on the entered Process code.
You must now check the entries here.
    Example:
If you use an own function module (named in the Identification field) you must set the radio buttons to Processing with ALE service AND Processing by function module. The little button behind the identification field will show some details.
At least the detail fields (on tab IDoc) Object type, Start event and End event must be filled.
Default values for these are: IDOCAPPL (=Object type), INPUTERROROCCURRED (=Start event) and ERRORPROCESSCOMPLETD (=End event).
Of course within ALE you can define different types of process codes (what you like most for your specific handling).
Hope this helps you a bit on your way.
    Regards,
    Rob.

    hi -
i just encountered a crash that looks the same to me (the segmentation fault and logs look very similar - problems around the JavaThread "RMI TCP Connection".
Did you get anywhere with this? do you have any clue by now what causes this, or do you have a workaround to avoid it?
    10x,
    Noam

  • Batching 837P error with extended validation

I am batching a 837P (multiple) using BizTalk 2010.  If I enable Extended validation in the agreement the batched message fails the send pipeline for the following 'Error details: Unable to read the stream produced by the pipeline.  Details:
There was no XML start tag open'  From the looks of it the message has the following BOM (EF BB BF).  Upon emoving the Extended validation the batched 837 is created by the send port.
    Path;
Receive file -> map to 837p -> write to folder using edi send (linked to party) -> edi receive with batching flag -> edi batching -> release batch -> write to final locationr using edi send (linked to party, filter to batched message)
With extended validation the initial 837p before batching are created just fine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Tom

Writing the unbatched 837s seemed to be the easiest option to add batching to the solution.  And we have other batching applications that follow the same (820)
    Thanks

  • Odd Error with decode function in Order By Clause

I am trying to compile a procedure and can't get around an error with a dynamic order by that doesn't make much sense to me. I can repoduce the error with a plain select statment in sql plus so I can rule out a declaration error. Here is an example with 2 numeric columns and a date column.
    select task_id, display_date, remark_id from task_list
    where task_id > 1000
    order by decode('Task_ID', 'Task_ID',Task_ID, 'Display_Date', Display_Date, 'Remark_ID',Remark_ID)
    returns the error:
    select task_id, display_date, remark_id from task_list
    ERROR at line 1:
ORA-00932: inconsistent datatypes: expected NUMBER got DATE
I'm not sure why this error is occuring, because it doesn't even hit the Display_Date field in the Decode statment. If I take the Display_date out of the statement, it runs properly. If I change Display_Date to To_Char(Display_Date) it also runs fine, but the sorting is incorrect. Also I'm running 9.2, and do not want to use dynamic sql to build my query. Any Ideas out there as to the cause of this error?

I did find a workaround to this issue by breaking the decode statment into three separate statement, but I still think that the way it is written above should work, and may be a bug, or an error that I don't understand fully.
The Order by was rewritten like this:
    order by decode(pSort, 'Task_ID',Task_ID), decode(pSort, 'Display_Date', Display_Date),
    decode(pSort, 'Remark_ID',Remark_ID);
    Thanks

XML data will not be created by the template file.
We will be required to create XML data. One of the easiest way to create xml output is using the RDF. We can change the rdf output type in the concurrent program to XML.
Once the xml and the template is available, "XML Report Publisher" will be able to generate the output in the required format.

  • Graphic problems/errors with Mainstage 3 and MBP (15'' 2011)

    Hi,
    I bought Mainstage 3 for my MBP (15'' 2011).
When i click con "perform" i get graphic errors.
I have the same issue with the old Mainstage version since Mountain Lion.
Also a fresh installation didn't help.
I think i'm not the only one with this issue!
I don't know how to report a bug?
    Perhaps someone can help me.
(and  I'm probably not the only one (see feedback in Apple Store) If you also have this problem, please add a comment with your configuration (Hardware, Software))

So, here an example how it looks like when i click on "perform":

Same configuration, same problem. BUT I found a workaround.
Mainstage has this error with the AMD video card and/or a second monitor connected.
With a little app (http://gfx.io)  it's possible to really force the MBPro to use the Intel Graphics card.
This will work only with the internal screen, not with a second screen connected.
And sometimes you need to restart, to really make the Intel video card free.
This works fine...In the meantime of a fix.
