  • PO message should get failed for P.grp other than AB1 and AB2

    Hello SAP Gurus,
I have a requirement like PO message should get failed for P.grp other than AB1 and AB2.
    Detail explanation:
I have a P.grp AB1,AB2,AB3,AB4 etc.... The current process is once PO created and saved the message will be triggered and IDOC is transmitted to the vendor, irrespective of what ever the P.grp.
My requirement is like the PO message should get failed if P.grp is other than AB1 and AB2, and reason should be shown any where in IDOC or in messages.
    Pls advice.
    Thanks.

    Hi Jurgen,
    Thanks for the reply...
There are only 5 vendors which is relevant for EDI and P.grp AB1 and AB2 denotes EDI PO, same P.grp mapping has been done in PI also via data ID. The user sometimes selects the P.grp AB3, AB4 etc incorrectly and it goes to the vendor which in-turn again the customer has to amend the PO.
Now I'm planning to include a piece of logic while saving the PO, check if the vendor is EDI vendor then P.grp should be AB1 or AB2, if it is a different P.grp  then the system will not allow to save the PO,so that the user will select the relevant P.grp for EDI vendors. Pls let me know your thought and inputs.
    Thanks.

  • Partner Profiles for EDI message output settings

    HI,
Iam creating Partner profiles settings for Message output through EDI.
While entering data for partner type Li Vendor.
Iam selecting User Type Organizastional Unit.
& while selecting Agent no information found.
Iam getting error as Object type O, ID 50010120 unknown (please observe upper/lower case)
How can i create Id for objects types. ( how can i create Agents)
    pls help
    Regards
    Sunil

What are you trying to do?
Agents in WE20 are used for post processing of failed IDoc's.
    You can use:
    Work center
    Job
    Organizational unit
    Person
    Position
    User
If you require agents, which type do you want - organisational unit?
If you do not require post processing options - use User with your ID.

  • EDI message output for goods movements

    Dear experts,
we configured NACE to send EDI messages, when goods movements are created. When we use partner type "VN" (Vendor) and leave the partner number empty, no message is created. Only if the partner number is filled, a message is created. This means, that the partner number is not extracted dynamically from the goods movement and we have to make one NACE entry for each partner. For other applications (e. g. outbound call offs), the partner number in NACE can be left empty and when a document is posted, the receiver partner number is determined dynamically.
Is it possible to modify the processing, so that the partner number is extracted from the goods movement? How can this be done?
    Best regards,
    David Claes

  • EDI/ALE-Output type-Process code relation?

    Hi.
In EDI preocessing the relation between the Message type and the process code is know.
But where is the realtion of either of these two to the output type?
When we hit a F4 in the message control in WE20 for process codes it gives us a list.
    How is this linkages established.
    Output type-process code-message type-output routines?
Please dont answer in vague terms.

    Dear experts,
I am a little further now.
I used output condition WA01 which is already set up in NACE and in MN23 I set up:
In SP01 I can see the created Spool entries after creating the Good issue with ME2O. So the print out would work. But I need an EDI output....
I created a new output condition ZWA1 in NACE and set "Processing routines" to EDI.
I set "Partner functions" to EDI and LS - logical system.
    In MN23 I have:
I set Event Type to "WA" because when I look at a material document in MB03 it also shows WA:
In WE20 I have my LS - logicals system and set up the output for MBGMCR03:
What confuses me is: I have to send the EDI output to a LS - logical system. But in MN23 I can't set the LS - it gives error: "You cannot enter a partner function for output ZWA1"
No IDoc is created so far - please help. Thank you.

  • MDB messages dont get processed from Queues when involving a remote Topic in transaction

Using WLS 6.1 SP4 on winXP Pro boxes, I have come across a peculiar problem:
I have several MDBs that process ObjectMessages from queues and forward their payload (wrapped in another new ObjectMessage) to other queues, all of which are located within the same WLS server.
Right now I'm adding a new MDB that gets messages from a remote Topic with a durable subscription, and forwards the payload to local queues after some processing.
When the Topic is local as well, there is no problem. But when the Topic is set up in a remote machine, only the MDB that has the remote durable subscription works the way it should. It receives the remote message and forwards it to the corresponding local queue. But then the messages in those local queues dont get processed. The 'Messages Received' count rises and the 'Messages' count stays at 0, as if the messages had been correctly processed and acknowledged, but no onMessage() method is called besides the one from the MDB that has the durable subscription to the remote Topic (I can tell because there's no further processing from the queue those messages get put in). It's as if those messages were simply received and acknowledged without being passed to other MDBs by WLS.
              * All queue MDBs use Required container-managed transaction management and auto-acknowledge
              * All queue MDBs have default durability for their queue subscriptions
              * The topic MDB has a durable subscription stored in a filestore
              * Lookup of the remote Topic is done via JNDI
Since the processing and forwarding of messages occurs the way it should when everything is local, I am inclined to believe one of two things:
              a) There's some issue with the way WLS treats messages (or even just payloads) when they come from a remote server
              b) WLS is doing something I'm not aware of when propagating a transaction that begins with the delivery of a message from a remote JMS Topic when it involves further forwarding of messages in local JMS Queues.
              Any help will be appreciated.
              regards,

Is the durable subscriber forwarder rolling back its transactions?
That would cause the behavior you describe (eg the message gets
placed in the queue, but is never made visible). What do
the pending counts on the destination queue look like?

  • Queue Stopped, messages not getting processed

    Hello Experts,
From the pst three days, my XI server is running slowly. All the messages are having the status green. When we check the queues, all the messages are stuck there and the error displayed is SYSFAIL (Queue stopped). If I try to execute the LUW manually it doesn't allow me giving the message "The queus is registered and therefore cannot be activated".
I have also tried deleting the entry and restarting the message again and then it goes to the same queue and gets stuck again. What should I do further?
    Thanks,
    Merrilly

    Hi,
To be able to initiate processing of messages stuck in the queue, make sure to set following IS configuration parameter
    MONITOR QRFC_RESTART_ALLOWED to value 1 in SXMB_ADM

transaction was rolled back. The messages arent being returned to be
redelivered and there's no trace of that in the log files (unless there's a

              >What do the pending counts on the destination queue >look like?
The Messages Pending count on the queue stays at 0, as the Messages Current
              count.
That same count on the durable subscriber forwarder (on the Topic's stats)
still displays messages and bytes pending.
(I had checked previously though, and it seems thats a bug in weblogic stats
recording for MDBs in transactions and durable subscriptions to topics).
              thanks,

    Hi Munir,
I don't know what is happening. In case you haven't already done
so, I suggest putting in trace statements in your application to
make sure that it is actually invoking the code
you think it is. If that doesn't help, please create a simple
reproducer for the problem and contact customer support.

  • Message output for New Purchase Order Document type

    Hi experts,
I am having trouble getting a Print message output for a New Purchasing Document type that I created.
    Steps that I followed are:
1.Created a new Document type NS via customizing.
2.Assigned the new Purchasing Document Type NS to Output Type NEU which is linked to our customized form for Purchase order display. I used MN04 /NACE to do this step.
Now the message output gets created for my new document type NS but I am unable to display the message.
    Notes:
-There are no release stratergies in place for document type NS
-The NEU format works fine the other document type NB which we use for Standard POs.
Are there any steps I have missed? Please help to resolve the issue.
    Arosh.

Goto NACE select application  EF Purchase Order then goto condition record NEU select condition record select the last key combination "Purchasing Output Determination: Document Type"
here enter your doc. type execute
    maintain the condition record
NS  VN(function)   1 3 EN and click on communication and maintain
Or goto NACR here put EF and NEU and select the last combination "Purchasing Output Determination: Document Type"
    maintain ..
NS  VN(function)   1 3 EN and click on communication and maintain
    Hope it helps..

  • Excluding one or some columns in output of Get-process cmdlet doesn't work

    hello
in PS 4.0 i need a command so that the output includes all columns except for, one or two columns ?
for example  get-process cmdlet shows seven columns. i need a cmdlet to show all columns except for handles & cpu columns.
    ( instead of running Get-process | select -object NPM,PM,WS,VM,CPU,ID )
note: i tested the following command but it still shows handles & cpu columns in the output
    ( Get-process | select -excludeproperty  handles,cpu )
    thanks in advanced

Bill should have also pointed out that you can change the "Types" files to adjust output permanently.  I am sure that this would save you much typing.
PowerShell is very flexible. We can select properties with wild cards...
    get-process|select s*,c* -first 3|ft -auto
You can adjust this as needed.
    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
    hi jrv
i didn't understand you first post at all:
"have a better and more permanent solution.
Print out put to very large wide E or F size plotter in landscape mode....
Take scissors and cut out columns not needed.  Tape bits together.  NOw you have the results you like."
but i undrestood your 2nd post, that nice.
    thank you very much,
    i also found this workaround:
    Get-Process | Select-Object -Property * -ExcludeProperty cpu,handles | format-table -Autosize

  • EDI msg output

    Hi
We are with SRM 5.0 and Classic Scenario.
While testing the whole scneario in our quality system, from SC creation to PO creation, we need to set EDI message output.
Can anyone explain where it can be done ?
    Thank you
    Maron

If you need to send the PO you need to configure output control and an outbound partner profile in WE20. The partner profile is for the vendor or customer, the message and basic type, and extension if the IDoc has been extended.
In the Message Control tabe of the outbound partner profile, you'll add the following line:
Application = EF, Message Type = NEU and Process Code = ME10.
NEU is the standard message type for generating output from PO's. It's already set up to create IDocs.
But you also need to make an entry into an output control table using transaction MN04 or MN05. This entry links your document to a number of different potential parameters that are used to identify the type of output that needs to be generated. It's as the same as setting up your documents to print.
But at this point I can't help you more because I don't know your system or your data. You need to get with your functional consultant to show you what you need to do to create the output record. They may also want to create a custom message type for your PO. You need to work it out with them.
Without this table entry made thru MN04 or MN05, the IDoc won't come out.
    Good luck.
