EDI with separate ISA and GS versions

Hi All,
We are trying to integrate our customer with one of its trading partner using EDI. The sample file available from earlier web methods implementation is little perplexing.
Sample file:
ISA~00~ ~00~ ~ZZ~PARTNER ~ZZ~HOST ~140302~1106~U~00204~000002621~0~P~<
GS~PC~PARTNER~HOST~95908~20140325~1106~2~X~006020
ST~860~000000238
Please note that version code for ISA segment and GS segment are different.
My question - Is such scenario is possible in oracle B2B ?
If yes, how do we setup the spec ? ( I tried with 6020 860 and 2040 envelope, it does not work )

It is "ecs" file itself which is used for validation and translation in Oracle B2B. As part of Document Definition, you should upload only transaction set ecs and interchange and group ecs are pre-seeded in the product however if you want to customize them, then you may override them as well.
From the back-end you should pass only transaction set (ST to SE) and Oracle B2B will add the envelope information (Group and Interchange) by itself.

I realize that my wife could make her own iTunes account; however, she's been using mine for about 2 years now and this hasn't been an issue. I guess with the Family Sharing she can have access to all of our music and apps now with her own account.

Try Googling "sync without iTunes".
There are free alternatives and there are not so free alternatives.
Btw, to check if AVG is causing the problem, you should uninstall AVG and not just "turn it off".
Also, can you describe how you go about uninstalling a program? For example, how did you "delete" iTunes?

Is there a way to open and edit my iMovie HD files with iMovie '09 and later versions?

I am getting ready to update an older iMac from Tiger to Mountain Lion. (Long overdue, I know) I have several files that I created using iMovie HD. After I update, will the new versions of iMovie be able to open and edit my iMovie HD files?

I don't think that iMovie 11 is backwards compatible with iMovie HD 6.
If you still have the install disks for iMovie Hd 6 (iLife 6) you can keep it alongside the newer version:
Happily this is easily achieved, but it has to be done backwards.
Delete iMovie 11 (just drag it to the trash). Now install iMovie 6 from the iLife 6 install disks. Update it to iMovie 6.0.3.
Now re-install iMovie 11. This automatically moves iMovie 6 into a folder it creates in your Applications folder called iMovie Previous Version.
Then reinstall iMovie 11.
iMovie 6 works great with iDVD 7.
Now you have them both, and you can have both in the Dock as well.
Alternatively you could try this method, suggested by poster Uitech:
Open a terminal and type "touch /Library/Preferences/com.apple.iLife011.plist"
(No quotes)
Install iMovieHD6 from the iLife 6 install disk.
This works with both Leopard and Snow Leopard Macs.

Not new; merged projects with separate TOC and indices

As it turns out, I have three projects that will need to be
created:
Folder (1) for Admin users:
Administration
User Management
Users (General Contents)
Folder (2) for Approver/PM users:
User Management
Users (General Contents)
Folder (3) for Regular users:
Users (General Contents)
I'm unsure whether, in RH6, I will be able to generate
separate TOC and indices. Can someone tell me whether there's a
best approach in order to enable this functionality?

OK. Of course, nothing could be that easy, now can it? lol. I
have managed to create the structure as Peter has defined it, and
for the most part, things are looking good. I do, of course, still
have a few questions I'd like to ask before I proceed:
1. When Peter suggests I put the [Parent (No Content)] into
each of the three folders for the administrators to use on the
server, what exactly does the Parent content entail?
2. I'd like to understand better the difference between the
default topic and the start page, and how it works structurally. I
started by generating each of the child folders with the start page
(example: Intro.htm), but realized that using index.htm was
important not only for the parent, but for each of the child
projects that I set up. I just don't understand WHY it works that
way.
3. I set up Books in the TOC and used the Merged Help under
each book which, of course, when generated, display books within
books. Can I just move the projects and delete the Books
altogether? This may be obvious, but I want to make sure I'm not
undoing something I'm unaware of undoing (if that makes any sense
at all).
4. The server will be a Linux box; I have checked off the Use
Lowercase checkbox when generating all. Is there anything else I
should be doing to keep problems to a minimum?
5. Last but not least (if you've made it this far), I'd like
to know if it is any easier for the administrator, or myself, in
the long run, to be using RoboHelp 8. Because this looks like it
will be an ongoing project for at least five years, I want to make
sure I am working in the smartest way I can.

Can't print with Snow Leopard and Acrobat version 8

It contains instructions for Version 9. I have version 8. I followed the instructions anyway for deleting the printer but the "save as Adobe pdf" did not appear as the page says it should.
I can still "save as pdf" which is what I have been doing in the past, however the resulting files are huge and there is no ability to apply job options etc.

The inability to scan is caused by a limitation with the Airport device. The USB port of the AirPort Base Station and Time Capsule does not support printer utilities or other special features, such as scanning, that requires a direct proprietary connection.

Sync problem with Outlook 2007 and BDS version 7.1

I upgraded from 6 to 7,1 on Blackberry Desktop Software and now get the following error when trying to USB sync. I use homail account through outlook connector.
"Unable to access local folders. If your Outlook profile uses Hotmail connector, you must create a local data store (PST) and set it as the default delivery location for the profile."
I have had no problems syncing until I upgraded to version 7.1. Is there a fix for this or how do I reinstal version 6.

Hopefully it contains something useful! There also are multiple existing threads on this site that discuss that exact error...your review of those might prove useful, and a search of this site, using the error message, error code, or symptom, should reveal all applicable existing threads to you.

It starts with a process for cleanly starting over, and there is some discussion, and there is also a post (15) with links to older Desktop Software versions, if those are needed. Note that this is not, by any means, guaranteed to work...but it has worked for many to resolve issues they are having.

String into table with separate row and column bytes

Hello, well I have a string (coming from an I2C eeprom and then through RS232 via MCU) with this format --> byte1 byte2 byte3 byte4 byte5 \r byte1 byte2 byte3 byte4 byte5 \r and so on, the length of the frame isn't known, it depends on how many sensors have passed over its limit. I am having problems on plotting this information into a table, I don't know at all how to separate each byte in a column and each packet of five bytes in a row. I attached my vi with the example of two sensors information string, I am able only to plot the first sensor .Any help will be welcome.

Problems with NiMath-library and Evaluation version

I'm evaluating Measurement Studio with the Evaluation version together with Visual Studio .NET 2003 (VC++). Always when I write a program that uses functions in the NiMath library I got problems when linking. I got the same errors when I try to build any of the including Math examples. When I'm not using functions in NiMath everything works.
Example
I create a project and add the following lines

CNiMath:ineWave(m_wave, 100, 1);
When i build the following errors appears:

Hello!
I couldn’t find anything reported about this on our portal but I found some similar issues that might help you out.
Things to check:
Linking directories are not set correctly. Go to Tools>>options>>directories and add all the directories for the include files and lib files. This should get your program linking up.
Have you made sure that all of the necessary .lib files are properly linked to?
In order to resolve this external symbol you will have to provide the necessary files to the linker by either listing the files in your project file list (right-click on your project in the file view and select "add files to project...") or by going into your project's settings and entering the path to the files for which to link (go to Project >> Settings..., select the Link tab, select Input from the drop-down menu, and put the paths you want to add in the Additional Library Path field).

Problem with Rescue & Recovery and older version backups

I have R&R version 4.23 on a R61i running XPP. Two problems:
1) It will not recognize older version backups on external HD. Any way to retrieve a few files only from old backup?
2) How do I delete an older version backup on internal HD which is not accessible but taking up lot of space? It seems to be hidden but is there.

could you provide a screenshot of any error that you're receiving when you tried to use the R&R ?
Curious to know, those backup that you have, was it done before upgrading to R&R v4.23 ? and if you copied the backup file from external to internal HDD, are you able to recover the backup ?
For number 2, is that backup located on the C:\ ? If it is, try changing the view to show all hidden files.
Also, do check if your system is updated too.

Having a problem with LR5 install and beta version

I uninstalled LR5 beta first, then purchased and installed LR5 on windows 7. Now when I open LR5 I only get the images I download on the beta version and not my LR4 catalogs etc. How do I get LR4 to merge into LR5 new install?

Jan, it sounds like most of your work is in your LR4 catalog? In that case, I would start Lightroom 5, go to File > Open Catalog and point to your Lightroom 4 catalog (like dj_paige said). Lightroom 5 will update your LR4 catalog. Depending on how many images are in your catalog, this could take some time.
Once your Lightroom 4 catalog is completely upgraded, decide if you want to merge your beta catalog into the upgraded catalog or not. If you do, you can do File > Import from Another Catalog and point to your Beta catalog. This will merge it into your newly-updated Lightroom 4 catalog.

Multiple Iphones with separate apps and one computer

I've researched this and can not find any help on either the apple site, internet and not really in here clearly.
We have multiple iphones each with their own apps and information and one computer. My husband doesn't want my apps installed on his iphone and I don't want his either.
How can we sync and update our phones using one computer and back them up without overwritting each phone with the others apps. Especially if a restore needs to be done, itunes holds one phones set of apps.

Because the iPhone does not support disk mode as with most iPods, which is probably for security reasons which isn't a concern with an iPod.

No reason to be concerned. You need to transfer your iTunes library from your old PC to your new PC - the iTunes named folder located in your Music folder and with iTunes quit on the new PC, place the iTunes folder in the Music folder. You also need to authorize your new PC with your iTunes account with iTunes.
When getting a new computer, you transfer your iTunes library and content along with all other important data that you will need or want to access on your new computer such as photos, documents, etc.

I have iPhone 4 with newest update and Mac laptop with Snow Leopard and current version of iTunes. When I hook the phone up via USB, iPhoto pops open and reads the pictures for import, but iTunes doesn't do anything. Not seeing the device as a USB, either

Sorry, thought that was the body of the question, so the title is long. When I plug in my iPhone 4 (newest update) into my Mac laptop (current version of iTunes, Snow Leopard), it does not read the music, apps, etc., or open iTunes at all. It syncs the pictures, but it doesn't not show as a USB device, either. I have gone through the Troubleshooting assistant, restarting both comp and laptop, using different USB ports, etc. If it is of note, when I look at the option to Sync through Wifi on the phone, it says that sync will happen when my computer (by name) is "available." Not sure if this is a phone issue or laptop, leaning towards laptop, since iPhoto syncs. Willing to buy Lion if that will fix the problem! I would appreciate any help that is given.

You have written a very long story, and I admit I have skipped most of it. But I think the question is you are on iOS 7, and cannot get the latest version of iTunes (11.1.5) on your computer because your OS X is too old.
The fact that you chose not to update your hardware does not mean you could not update your software!
OS X 10.5 is very old (about four years). iTunes 11.1.5 (current version) requires at least OS X 10.6.8 to run. Very likely, you could upgrade your computer's software to at least OS X 10.6.8 and then download the current iTunes on it.
You would start here:

Then you would update the OS X 10.6 to OS X 10.6.8 over the air, then download iTunes (or update to a later OS X, as the current version is 10.9.2).

Can I configure a new imac with separate ssd and hd

    I don't know for sure if it's been announced so this information may not be out there and I realize we are not supposed to speculate. Havinvg said that can anyone comment on whether it will be possible to configure a new iMac with both and SSD and HD drive without using a fusion drive?
   For video editing I don't think I want a fusion drive. I'm either going to get a refurb soon or wait ... and the whole fusion thing is such an unknown for video editing. If I order without more vid editing information with regard to a fusion drive I'd probably want an SSD boot and internal.... I'd use my externals for most work but an ssd plus internal hd would be nice.

Based on the tech specs here, it appears the 27" iMac has one space for hard drive, fusion drive, or SSD, which are orderable on a build-to-order system.
