Edirol PCR-300 control maps

Do you know where I can find a control map for Edirol PCR-300 / Logic 8?
The edirol site (http://www.edirol.net/downloads/en/PCR/index_PCR-800.html) stopped listing new versions and the one for Logic 7 doesn't work for Logic 8.

Did you ever find any?
I have had no luck. I had to manually add my settings in, but I have all the transport controls and pan/vol etc mapped.

In the manual for the Edirol it lists 8 or 10 templates for Logic and then doesn't go on to say exactly what they do. I tried adding the PCR from the list of supported surfaces but it's not there.
There is some instruction in the PCR manual to open the Audi0o Midi data manager and create nodes with connections, but I'n not sure exactly what the point of that is supposed to be.
After doing some digging I found something that that the Edirol had to be supported in Mackie emulation mode. I recently did some major problematic upgrades and lots of this appear to be lost. I don't know which Mackie mode it supports. My guess it would be HUI, because unlike the MCU the Edirol isn't really bidirection is this correct?
I think I had it working before the upgrade, but now I've got the old problem back. I can get the control surface to sort of work and then when I touch a regular key the whole screen goes crazy with windows popping up and down then disappearing.
I think for some reason the Edirol is sending out messages that are telling Logic to frequently cycle through screen sets. I did think I had figured out this problem once before after diligent searching, but I forgot how I did it.
Any ideas on how to get the Edirol PCR-300 to play well with Logic?

Yes I have installed the drivers as the PCR 300 works with Logic 8.

Using Edirol PCR keyboard with Logic

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience using Logic with an Edirol PCR midi keyboard. From what I understand you can program the keyboard using Edirols software editor or using key mapping in Logic. I looks like it would be a lot easier to use the built in key mapping if it worked well opposed to programming the midi with the software. I also see that you can download a control map from Roland that was made for Logic 6 and was wondering if anyone knows if it works with 7 and how well if it does. I just hoping it will be easy to use use this keyboard with Logic beause it has knobs and sliders. The final question I have is if you can use an expression pedal connected to a midi keyboard with a guitar. Any feedback is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I also meant to ask if anyone has used a Tascam US-428 with Logic. I haven't found any control maps but it looks like support is built into Logic?

Edirol PCR-30 wiyh Logic Express 7

Can't seem to get drivers for my Edirol PCR-30 USB keyboard so I can use it with my macbook and Logic Express 7. Edirol say it's compatible with Logic 6 and there is something I can do to use Logic 7......but what????? Please Help!!

Problem with Locating controls in UI Control Map

Hi everyone,
I am having a very weird problem and have no idea what's going on. I am working on creating some Coded UI tests and I have noticed that, on my machine, when I go to a .uitest file, right click on one of the controls in the UI Control Map list, and select
Locate the UI Control, the blue box always shows up about 2 inches up and 4 inches to the left of the specified control. Also, when I try to generate a new map by dragging the target tool to the app, it doesn't find the control correctly, but also appears
to think the app is open in a different location than it actually is. The weirdest thing though, is that this functionality seems to work fine with web pages. It's only when I try to use it on a windows app that it has a problem. Any ideas?

in the coded UI test?
Generally, when we want to add new UI control in the UI Control Map list, we can right-click the
CodedUITest method->Generate Code for Coded UI Test->Using Coded UI test builder like the following screen shot.
Or we can also right-click the UIMap.uitest->Edit With Coded UI Test Builder like the following
screen shot.
So I suggest you can try the above suggestion to check your issue again.
In addition, as you said that the weirdest thing though, is that this functionality seems to work
fine with web pages. It's only when I try to use it on a windows app that it has a problem. Any ideas?
I have been reproduced this issue in my side, I found that we can use the Locate the UI Control function
to find the control for a windows app.
So to further help you solve this issue, I suggest you can told me more detailed message about your

Mainstage not seeing a borrowed Edirol PCR-800

Please help a dedicated MS user. I am on the road and trying to use someone's PCR-800. I have two of my own at home that I use interchangebly all the time and they are fine. Now I am trying to use my Concerts with another and MS is just not seeing it. Garageband sees it just fine - I must be doing something wrong, I assumed it would be plug in and ready to rock. Please help, I talked these people into getting one for my time here, and now I'm looking like a chump. Can anyone offer some help, I need to be up and running today! Thanks in advance.

I was NOT suggesting that you re-named anything in Audio MIDI setup, just check what the current PCR shows up as (unlikely to affect anything regardless).
Manually re-assigning any keyboard input/controller MIDI input mapping in MainStage for this particular Mainstage Concert (do a "save as" with a new name first, so that your original concert will be OK) should/will not affect anything for other apps such as Garageband or stand-alone apps like B4.

How to connect edirol pcr-800 to iPad garage band

I have an Edirol and camera connector when I connect the edirol I get power but an error message from the iPad that this device isn't supported. I see that this is a supported keyboard so I am not sure what i am doing wrong.

My midi/audio interface Edirol PCR 1 won't work with Yosemite and Roland have no driver update. Is this the end of the line for this device.

Same problem here, what a shame as this has been my favorite portable keyboard for ages. Whenever I see one in a store(very rarely) I'll grab it.

Griffin iMic and Edirol PCR-A30 conflict

Garageband band gives me the following error and I must then force quit:
Garageband detected a possible conflict between one or more third party midi or audio drivers
Be sure to install the latest for all audio or midi equipment connected to your computer, and remove any old or unused driver.
I updated from the Edirol site to the newest software they had available.
I am only using one device at a time.
I trashed the Garageband prefs and then set the Sound Prefs to the iMic in Audio Output.
Any help to a newbie using Garageband 3 would be helpful.

Even more interesting. I updated the Edirol driver v. 1.2.0 .I took the Griffin iMic out of the loop. I trashed my prefs and any created Garageband songs, selected the Edirol as the input in the Sounds Preferences in System Preferences, output as my headphones. Restarted the computer and opened Garageband 3.
It took a long time to initialize but worked.
Closed the program. Opened it and received the error message above yet again.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Variance in MIRO can not post to stock account (price control:MAP)

As I know, if there is variance between PO price and INVOICE, the variant value will be posted to the stock account, if material with Moving Average Price.
But when I test this process in my system(4.6C), the variance was posted to a variance account(by TE: DIF), the stock quantity is not less than the Invoice quantity.
Why this happen?
Does this is some bug in my system???

For a material valuated at a moving average price, the price difference is posted to the stock account, provided there is sufficient stock coverage for the quantity invoiced. If sufficient stock coverage is not available, only the amount for the available quantity is posted to the stock account; the remaining amount is posted to a revenue or expense account.

Edirol PCR-30 and GB (did it just die)?

I just shuffled the computers so I am working in GB on a
G4 / 933MHz 1.5 Gig RAM
Hooked up my keyboard after installing the drivers and restarting and the blue Power Indicator light is on. The USB cable is connected but when I hit keys I thought I used to see something flicker (?) and I thought a dot lit up in the USB indicator and there's no light. I seem to get no sound in GB and under Prefs for Audio In is grayed out.
This has always been so easy I'm not sure where to begin.

0 Midi is the problem. Try unplugging the keyboard start garageband and plug the keyboard back in. You should get a popup that says something about garageband detecting a new midi input and ask if you want to add it. If everything goes right this will do the setup for you.
Also check utility Audio/midi setup.
That's about as much help as I can be I'm not much of a midi guy. There are some knowledgeable midi people here that I'm sure that will be more help.

Controlling the AWE64 with keybo

I've recently bought an Edirol PCR- to control my Awe64 Gold. I want to edit parameters such as cutoff frequency, etc in my music sequencing software, but I can't find any 'controller sets' for the Awe on the web. I've tried creating my own set by using the same parameters that are in the Cubase AWE64 mixermap, but its not working.
Anyone know where I can download a controller map for the PCR - Or how I can create my own?

Help using Edirol Controller in Logic

I've just got an Edirol PCR-M1 and am not sure how/where you set it up in Logic 7. It works fine as a keyboard entering notes but I'm assuming it can be set up to do basic start/stop playback, filter sweeps, volume controls etc? (using the dials and buttons on the controller) Has anybody done this with this controller? Is anybody aware of a patch for this controller for Logic? (It didn't have one with it - well to put it another way, it had it for every software program, except Logic and there was nothing on Edirols' website!)
If nobody can offer a patch to set it up - where do I do it manually? Is it in the controller set-ups in preferences - this seemed like midi mixing desks/controllers? Is the keyboard controller classed the same?

There are a couple of ways you can go.
There is a PCR series control map which sets it up as a generic Logic Control emulation.
Look for the map attributed to 'teddybut' here:

(the page only mentions the older PCR series models, but I think it probably applies to all)
Or, you can set up your own map and use Logic's controller assignment scheme to do basically the same basic thing.
(read the Control Surface Support' section of the Logic Reference manual. Particularly the sub-section on the Controller Assignment Window.)

Focusrite Saffire Pro 10 or Motu Ultralite firewire audio interface

Hello one and all.
Newbie here so please bear with me as I realise this topic has been covered in lots of various ways before.
I work in a theatre and spend my time creating sound effects, soundscapes, editing pre recorded music and A/V work. I'm currently upgrading our pre, live & post production equipment.
You can see I've gone for the iMac 2.8GHz & i'm about to receive Logic Studio 8. I'm looking for a firewire audio interface as I want to link up a midi controller to it (Edirol pcr 300) and also connect to our Allen & Heath GL3300 mixing desk. I'd like to try to, "future proof" our options (i.e differing i/o options) as we never know what recording/playback needs are around the corner. I've tried to research audio I/O's as much as I can and I've ended up with a choice of 2, Focusrite Saffire Pro 10 or Motu Ultralite.
Any views, reviews or ideas greatfully received.

I've done installation work for theatres/theatre groups. Reliability is a nr. 1 priority. I suggest you take a hard look at the Metric Halo 2882.
I like my MOTU 828 mk2(it always works), but my experiences with the MOTU Traveler (will often go berserk if you inadvertently pull the FW plug) and the MOTU 896 HD haven't been very favorable. The 896HD will give you a full blast burst of noise whenever you switch it on. Not good in a theatre where the amps are normally left at full throttle. Also, I had a lot of failures/technical problems.
The 2882 is a bit more expensive, but worth every cent. And the technical support is second to none.

Bug with Edirol Controller?

Hi there - here's what happens (Logic Pro 7.2.2 (latest update) ) on a G5 DP 2.3 (controller Edirol PCR-M50):
I press Command L, the controller learn window opens.
I then twiddle a few knobs on my Edirol PCR-M50 Controller.
I then close the Learn Window.
And Logic quits unexpectedly (after a short bit of "beachball")
Anyone else get this?

Hi Florence,
I'd try two things:
First, open logic and go preferences/control surfaces/setup and delete the image of your control surface there, (nothing should be left in the setup window except your computer icon).
Then go delete the control surface prefernces file at Home/Library/Preferences/Logic/com.apple.logic.pro.cs
restart logic and that should be it.
