Edit- Auto Suggest Photo Stacks stopped working!

Premier Elements 10 funtion for automatically finding similar shots used to work fine. Showed good suggestions of similar photos, which of course also helps you find duplicates that were imported from different computers etc. I'm on a new PC now and the Auto Suggest worked ok until I loaded another 15000 photos, now totalling over 17K photos. Now the stack function returns "There are no recommended stacks from the selections" message no matter if I Select All, or just select a few shots.
PE10 did crash once while I was indexing the imported material, but on retry seemed to complete the indexing ok.
Any ideas? Is there some limit to what PE10 can handle? Could the crash have damaged the code? THANKS

The use of the Elements Organizer 10 and its Auto Suggest Stacks feature is probably best answered in a photo editing environment than in the video editing sector although both Photoshop Elements 10 and Premiere Elements 10 are standalone program that each come with Elements Organizer 10. My thought here is that you might find more users in the Adobe Photoshop Elements Forum who have addressed this issue before.
Nonetheless, I would ask "What are the pixel dimensions of these 15000 + photos that you loaded into Elements Organizer 10? Have you tried deleting the settings file for the Elements Organizer 10 to determine if that action would have any affect on what you are observing?
By the way, how many photos were already loaded when you loaded another 15000 photos? What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 10/Elements Organizer 10 running on?

After updating to iOS 5, the Photo album stopped working.

After updating to iOS v5, my iphone 4S's built-in Photo app stopped working.
The Camera takes a photo, but the photo disappears from the camera roll and shows no photos in the photoalbum.
My iPhone used to take photos so, I don't believe it is a hardware issue.
Is anyone having the same problem?
Would there be a update of the v5 to solve this issue?

I figured it out.
In my case, I just needed to restore my phone to the factory setting.
My iphone = iphone 4 running iOS v5
My computer = iMac
Software didn't work = preinstalled "Photos" app
Symptoms = after I take a photo, the image thumbnail of the camera roll shows the image, but images are found neither in the camera roll nor in the albums of the "Photos".
Solution procedure:
connect the iphone to iMac
in the Summary window of the devices, click "Restore"
choose not to save the backup file
choose to restore the iphone as a "NEW" device instead of choosing a backup files*
follow the rest of instructions.
It helped and now I can view my photos in the photo album.
* However, I accidentary re-restored it with a saved backup file and the "Photos" application stopped working again. I repeated the resotre procedure avoiding the accidental restoration to a backup file.
The camera and the photos were working before iOS v5 update, and it is now working again. So, it is obviously not the hardware issue. It seems that iOS v5 and the Photos are having compatibility issue Apple should look into this issue.

Don't the albums show at all?
Are you signed in with the same Apple ID that you used with iCloud before? And are you currently browsing the System Photos Library? Only one Photos library, enabled as the System Photos library can sync with iCloud.
For me it helped to disable iCloud Photo sharing in the System Preferences > iCloud > Photos > Options
and in the Photos. app Preferences < iCloud.
Then restart the Mac and enable the same Preferences again.
And wait.
The Shared albums came slowly back and were all back after one day.

You need to remove third party plugin and try launching. You should find it in plugins folder either here C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 10\Plug-Ins or C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 10\Locales\en_US\Plug-Ins
Else try skipping the loading of thirdparty plugins like below:
   1. Close Elements.
   2. Launch the Photoshop Elements Welcome Screen and hold down ctrl/cmd + shift as you click Editor/Edit.
   3. Continue to hold the keys until you see a message to skip loading of 3rd party plugins..Click yes and check.

Elements 12 Photo Editor stopped working

I recently purchased a brand new HP with Windows 8. I downloaded PS Elements 12 from Amazon last month and a few weeks in, Photoshop Editor stoped working. I ended up uninstalling it then reinstalling and it worked great for a few days before the Editor crashed again. This pops up: "Photoshop Elements 12 Editor has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
I am beyond frustrated. I am trying to get a photography career going and I don't have time for this. I'm not very computer savvy when it comes to issues like this and honestly have no idea what to do. I obviously can't keep uninstalling it. I also don't know if this is a Windows issue or Adobe. Please help!

I'm replying from my e-mail so I hope this works! Couldn't figure out how to reply on the Adobe discussion board. But I checked the updates and it said they're all up-to-date and to answer your questions, yes it crashes every time I try to open a photo. If I'm in the organizer then right click a photo to open in Editor that notification pops up. So yes, the organizer works just not the Editor.
As far as the admin rights, I right-clicked the icon and ran to do so if that's what you're talking about. Like I mentioned before, I have NO idea what the heck is wrong. If it's Windows or Adobe...all my friends say I should've gone with an iMac. Haha. Sigh

Why has my Photo Stream stopped working? I have not changed any settings on either my iPhone or my Mac. I did try to reset them, but with no success.

After updating to iOS 5.1. Photo stream stopped working on my iPad 2. I tried turning it off and on.reset the iPad too. I didnt do anything else to make photo stream stop working.I tried closing the camera app before trying to access photo stream and waited to see if it would upload to iCloud and nothing. Having the same problem on my wife's iPad2. All settings are correct. If I take a pic with the iPad, it shows up on her iPhone4 in Photo Stream. When I access Photo Stream on her iPad2, there is nothing there. Here's the really weird part: when I add a photo to iMessage on her iPad2, it lets me select Photo Stream and the photos are there!!! Any fixes besides a restore???

Photo Stack swf works in IE but not Firefox

Would anyone know why the photo stack flash gallery won't work in Firefox? IE works fine. I'm fairly sure its just a bit of syntax i'm missing, or a compatibility issue.
I am using a .swf file which imports images in using an xm
l file and then displays them as a stack of photos which can then be rotated and looked through.

Adobe Photo Downloader stopped working; can't import from a DVD?

I use Premiere Elements 4 (loaded with Adobe Photoshop Elements 6) on Windows Vista.
When I attempt to import video from a DVD (via Get Media > DVD import) I am unable to do so and the message
ADOBE PHOTO DOWNLOADER HAS STOPPED WORKING is produced by Windows.
I would value any help with this problem!

Well, if it was produced in an Adobe program, then it should be 100% DVD-compliant. The menuing structure should not be an issue, as it can with other programs (Roxio and Nero come to mind), or from a DVR-DVD unit. I have never seen one of those that did a DVD-compliant disc.
This might point to something else going on.
As a test, grab, or create a short Project in PrE with Menus, and then Burn it to Disc. Test this back in PrE, and see if it behaves exactly the same way. If not, then something might be odd with your first disc, or there could be some other issue. If the Importer fails again, I'd think about doing a Repair Install.
If the test works, the first thing that I would do would be to Copy your DVD-Video. One can use the free burning utility, ImgBurn to do this, if they do not have Roxio, Nero or some other DVD Copy utility.
As a thought, there are a lot of other programs, that can get in the way of many operations in PrE. You might find some tips on setting up your computer for an editing session, in this ARTICLE. Then, test with your DVD again.

Photo stream stopped working after update

Installed the 6.0.1 update on my 4s and all of a sudden Photostream stopped working. It did work for two or three days after the update but then stopped. The iCloud panel on my pc is grayed out. The phone itself has everything regarding Photostream turned on. Any suggestions besides restarting Photostream and losing the photos already in there? I am running Windows 8 on the PC...(Piece of CR*P)

You have probably enabled iCloud Drive on one of your mobile devices after upgrading to iOS 8. Then "documents in the cloud" will no longer work. Unfortunately, the upgrade to iCloud Drive cannot be undone. You'll have to wait for Yosemite.

While you are waiting for the Yosemite release you could sync your iWork documents with Dropbox.
As to My Photo Stream:
The new Photos.app stores the photos differently. There is no longer a Camera Roll, and My Photo Stream is no longer visible as a separate album. You will find the Photo Stream photos in the "Recently Added" album.

My photo stream on my PC stopped working after a couple of months. I tried resetting it and followed the directions to go through the Control Panel and check the box next to Photo Stream, but it would not allow me to check that box. Help?

Having same problem. I open the icloud program, check the photstrem box. push apply then exit program. Open program back up and its not selected again. Also the options button doesnt work after you check the box.

With some trouble I was able to download trial version PSE 9. I already had PSE 7. I attempted to e-mail pics using photo mail in PSE 9. I had to select e-mail system and it would send a confirmation number. No number arrived. Went back to PSE 7 and it stopped working. How do I fix this?

elements 8 to elements 9 and now i get the cursed 'unhandled exception error about halfway through running 'Photo Mail'. It crashes when the program tries to load the border templates. Very annoying!

Are you using Photo Mail rather than Email Attachments?
If you are using Photo Mail, I assume that you aren't now seeing the Stationary and Layout windows.
What you are describing is similar to the permissions problem which occurred in PSE 12 - it is strange that it should come back.
Is your user an administrator?
Close the organizer and find the following file using windows explorer [omit the (x86) part if on a 32bit version of windows 7]
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Elements 12 Organizer\PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe"
The file size should be about 39,405 Kb
Right click on it and select Run as Administrator (even if you are an administrator)
That should launch the organizer so try the Photo Mail again.
