Edit button not working in advanced mode

When I choose a page layout that is pre- made in the options, I can then switch to the advanced mode, but can't get my edit button to work so I can edit the frames or pictures. Any ideas why?

I order to edit the picture/image when in Create mode, you can directly use the toolbar present on the left side in PSE10. You don't need to switch to Edit mode.
You can also add a new frame/background/graphic from the Artwork Panel. You have a complete set of Effects and layouts available as well. If you want to add text, use the Text tool (press 'T').

Buttons not working in fullscreen mode

Hi everyone,
I have a site where our Flash content can be sent to fullscreen by the user. When in fullscreen mode, in some computers the buttons within the content and the mouse stop working completely. It still exits from fullscreen by clicking the escape buttons.
I have a Win XP computer where it works in Firefox and IE but won't work within Chrome. They both have the latest player installed.
I have a Windows Vista where it does not work in any browser.
On a Linux box (version 10,1,53,64) it works on any browser.
On another Win XP computer with version 10.0.45.2 it works with any browsers.
On some Macs it works, on some it doesn't.
The swf file was produced with Flash CS3.
Any ideas?

Then i simply edited the text of a different button (mind you one that still works) and the "return to menu" quit along with the bottom 2 buttons. I just can't figure it out. I have shut the app down and restarted and nothing seems to be working

Buttons not working in preview mode

i have a really strange issue that i have spent way too long on and need some help.
I have a submenu i created, from a template, and had everything working perfectly. i removed the text layer from the buttons on the right side and now all but 3 links work. I have deleted the "damaged" button and copied a working button nd then relinked and it still doesn't work. I have turned off auto-button routing and re-numbered every button. I was able to get 2 of the buttons to work (no idea how) but now they are not working again.
I am sending a complete screen shot of the damaged button, compared with one right beside it. Please tell me what i am missing?

Edit button not working on a publishing site on sub-level pages only (SP 2010)

When I create a top level page, the Edit button/edit page works fine with checkout and checkin. However, once I create a sub-level page - that is I create a second page within the first page then the edit button does not work and there is a message
displayed on the ribbon in yellow background:

Published and visible to all readers
I have read all responses to similar posts and tried them but problem is not resolved.
I don't have workflow turned on, I don't have content approval, yet, issue is still there.

Pinning will not work in most devices - desktop only. To do the same in your device layouts you need to use the scroll motion tools.
To add code to the <head> tags in Muse you go to your page properties and under the meta tab you will see a section you can paste your code.
When you do push live with Business Catalyst you will be given prompts as to how to go about it.

Portege M700 - Rotation Button Not Working In Tablet Mode

I have a Portege M700 and when I turn it into tablet mode the rotation button quits working.
It works when it in laptop mode.
I have the rotation utility set to go into secondary landscape and its no longer switching and the button on the front of the screen will not switch it anymore either.
I can go into the rotation software and rotate it manually.
Any suggestions on how to get the button functioning again?
Oh and I am running Vista Business with SP 2.
Any help would be appreciated.

Yes it does rotate it just wont rotate with the button once I turn it . also when I turn it to tablet mode it goes into portrait, I need it to go into secondary landscape. I made sure that the setting are set to secondary landscape and that the button is set to rotate. but it just wont. I have reinstalled the drivers for the rotation utility. any other ideas would be very helpful. thanks

Sharepoint send to button not working with document mode 9

We are using document mode 9 for HTML 5 in the master page but the SharePoint send to button is not working with ie 9.
Can anyone help me to resolve this issue.

SharePoint 2010 doesn't use HTML 5, so its possible that the browser is running in quirks mode. Try the default compatibility mode and see if that works for you.

Edit Button Not Working in PDF Portfolio

The Edit function is greyed out whenever I try to create a PDF portfolio directly from an Outlook mail folder. We are using Adobe Pro X. Any suggestions on why this is and how to fix? I've been able to create other portfolios and use the Edit button, but not when it is created directly from Outlook.

Edit button not working on ipad

I just downloaded the adobe reader app and the edit button doesn't give me options to organize, etc. Any suggestions?

How it works for me:
Select the Documents list, then click Edit, and there will be five organizing tools (add folder, duplicate, etc.)
If that doesn't work, try force-quitting your application. Click the Home button to return to the Home screen. Double-click the Home button to go the row of recent apps at the bottom of the screen. Click and hold down the Adobe Reader icon and the red "delete" icon appears. Click the delete icon and Reader is removed from the list. Return to the Home button and relaunch Reader.

Encore Remote Preview Buttons Not Working in Preview Mode

I have had this annoying problem on several ocassions and it's back again. I have never been able to figure out what causes it.
When in the prview mode to test the DVD compliation to see if the remote buttons will change between the menu buttons I created, I am unable to select any of the three buttons in the menu with the remote selector at the bottom of the preview window. I am able to select them with a mouse click but not with the remote buttons meaning that when the DVD is built, a real reomte will not change the titles that are associated with each button.
What can be causing this to keep happening. The compilation in Encore is a linked composition form Premier CS4--both Encore and Premier are CS4.

I know this post is old, but I found it as I am having the same issue. Encore CS5. I have a menu that I have 9 buttons layed out, near the bottom, and the previous/next and main menu buttons are near the top. The 9 on the bottom are each numbers 1-9. However when I preview it starts at 1 then pressing right arrow does not jump to number 2 but #11, the "next" arrow button on top of page.
I will post a screen shot with buttons 1-9 hilighted, showing they are not touching, and the button routing turned on.
Any thoughts?
I guess I will make a new menu and see if I just need to reuild it.

PSE 8 ... Welcome screen Edit button not working

I had this installed on another computer prior to it being stolen, got a new laptop and installed on it. I am running windows 7. When at the welcome screen i click on Edit and the little bar changes and acts like it is going to start but then does nothing, it just takes me back to the welcome screen. I did find one thread on here and tried those recommendations by holding down the ctrl, alt, and shift while clicking edit and then choosing yes .. but that didnt help.
any thoughts or ideas on what I could try ... hate having spent money on something I only used a handful of times

Have you tried installing the product again to see if it corrects itself? The thing is PSE8 is very old to run on Windows 8. The alternative solution could be to start in Windows XP mode. This is normally done by reading this official Microsoft article:

Apply button not working In Sharepoint Integrated mode

For some report users, the Apply button is not working (SharePoint integrated mode).
After they select all the parameters in report and hit apply button , the page remain blanks and nothing happens.

I haven’t find any documentation illustrate this limitation, it’s just my experience, I have a report which contains a muti-value parameter, it contains 500 value items and the length of each value is equal or greate than 10 characters, when I select
all parameter values, there is no response when I click the apply button, however, when I only select several items in it, the report showing fine, I could not sure your issue is the same with mine, it’s just my conclusion. If your issure is not related to
the length of the selected parameter, just occures to certain users even they selected with the same parameter values with the other users who run fine with this report, then this reply should not adapt to your scencario, it is so unbeliveable it is not working
only for certains users, I have not experience this issue before, and the information you provided is so limited that I could not address the root cause of your issue.

Button not working in browser

I am coding a video player in Netbeans 6.8. just find two problems:
1. the browser button not working in browser when I run the project from Netbeans under "run in browser" mode. however under "standard execution" mode, everything is fine.
2. can not run the jar file in the project's dist directory directly. in other word, I can not run the jar file outside of Netbeans.

thanks for your reply but I need more specific operation.
maybe I am not very clear about the problem one. I mean when I run the code in standard mode, if I click the browse button, a window will pop out and I can choose a video file from my local harddisk. but if I run it in "web start execution" mode and "run in browser" mode. the browse button make no response when I click it.

    Click Develop and select "Empty Caches" from the dropdown.
2. Quit Safari if open.
    Option click the "Go" menu in the Finder menu bar.
    Select "Library" and then "Caches".
    Look for the folder 'com.apple.Safari"
    Right click "com.apple.Safari" and select "Move to Trash"
    Relaunch Safari.
