Edit details of a place

Hi,
When trying to edit details or add review of place in India everytime the edit dialogue box is not availabe for editing. Moreover, i am not able to add places to my map as right clicking them doesn't give any option to add or delete. The only add to favourites is available which doesnt allow to review or edit details of the place.

how do i edit out the dark places in a pdf? I xeroxed pages from a book, and the xeroxes were not of great quality--lots of shadows where the book opened on the copier glass.
When I had the xeroxes scanned, the dark places turned deep black and made the xeroxed/ scanned texts almost unreadable.
How can I lighten the images in the PDFs so that the text is readable again?

When a movie clip contains an object with a z value, I can not edit the object in place, it goes into a seperate window.
This changes the vanishing point relative to the movieclip instead of the stage (allong with everything else).
This makes it very hard to keep track of where the movieclips will end up when actualy playing the animation.

I should have explained my situation a little better. I have a machine that's made up of a number of parts, some of them are fairly large and some are quite small. When a user clicks on a part, I want to center that part on the screen and then move whole machine toward the screen until the selected part either fills the screen (for the larger parts) or the part bumps up against the front clip plane (for the smaller parts).
I didn't think of checking for a collision with the ViewPlatform's TG, thanks for mentioning that. I wasn't sure how the ViewPlatform's location relates to the clipping plane, but I'll dig into it. I'm still learning how the ViewingPlatform, the image plate, and the clipping planes all relate to each other.

Multi-row editable Detail Component on the same Page as Master (WSG)

Hello. There was a trick to place editable (with Update button and Delete? checkboxes) Detail Component on the same Page as Master. Something about a Creation of Detail Component in Property Palette Mode (against of Dialog). Can anyone point me please to those hint?

Look at the page branches. There will be one or more which goes to the first page. Change it to go to the current page instead of the first page.

Problems with editing details on posted Podcast

I have just started into the Podcasting world and am becoming more and more confused. I am using a website podbean.com to place my Podcast's on and then from there I a linked that URL to iTunes. My Podcast has been accepted, but now I can't figure out how to edit the information on the iTunes Store when I follow the link to my Podcast (description, website link, etc.). Also, I am not able to find my Podcast when I search in the iTunes Store.
Any ideas?

As you have "just started into the Podcasting world" why not give Apple's iWeb a try? ...It's in the iLife'06 suite of applications. As you might expect, iWeb and its dedicated podcast web-pages integrates well with iTunes. And if you have a .Mac account you can republish your podcast with updated "details" with just one click. On Firefox, i wish to edit details in the 'Page Source' file (CSS) and save the changes. Please help...

I am viewing a crossword(HTML file) prepared by me, on FIREFOX. I wish to change the color of the blank squares (which are black now), to improve the appearance of CW. It is View > Page Source and not Edit > Source, so you can't make changes to the source in Firefox.<br />
You will have to do that via an external editor.<br />
You can also override CS style rules with the Stylish extension.

Restoring edit details after Quick time compression

How do I exit an i-movie editing session without loosing the details of those edits?
When logging off I am required to share the movie via Quick time in order to store it for the next editing session..[I think,..]. When I return to continue working my "saved" film opens in i-tunes, and once imported back into i-movie, consists of only one event and one clip. How do I retain a "work in progress" status so that all of the many assembled clips maintain their editability? [SP!..is that a word?] If this is impossible, please let me know so that I can stop suffering under the misconception of continuing where I'd left off.

As far as I know, you are the only person "required" to share his or her project in order to quit the application. Sharing or exporting is what you do with your competed project.

Most people simply open the application when they wish to begin a new work session and continue from where they left off. What you are doing is continuing to edit as a new project using the previously "completed" project as your new "source" content.

JSF multi row editable detail form -- moving backwards or forward

Innocently trying to create an intuitive editable master detail JSF form. Similar to what you would want in any application and something that can be done in less than a minute in Oracle Forms
The master form is a just a simple editable single master form based on the dept table. and the detail is the emp table. I have create the model using the wizard and made sure a link view is created.
The details form is a multirow form with all the editable columns
I added two button for the details form (create, remove)
I entered the master record (no commit yet)
then i moved the cursor to the details form and created a few records, i found an error in the second row in the detail form, therefore, innocently, i selected that row and pushed the Remove button. shocked to find out that the first row in the details form is deleted regardless of which row is selected. Additionally, when a row is created using the create button, the row is created above the first row of the details form (as if the first row in the details form is always current).
Such requirement should be easily satisified by a Framework?

Actually, my DETAILS form DOES include the Select Option, and i was really expecting (and accepting) the fact that i need to point to the row i need to delete. Actually, 20 years back i was 8080 assembly language programmer, and used to handle thing at very very low level. However, i do select a row, and i can see the Radio activated for that row, unfortunately though, the seemingly selected item in the DETAILS form is not the one that is removed, it is instead, the first row that is actually removed. It seems as if the form rows are not synchronized with the ROW selector you mentioned,, The first row is somehow internally selected (always)
This is the interesting part.
I created another project with a single multi row editable table (without master details) only a master, and guess what, it is working beautifully! exactly as you descirbed. Select a row, press delete and there you go, the record no longer exists

Finding edited details to a photo in elements 12 after photo saved

I can't find the tag/menu in elements 12 to help me recall the edits/ effects I've carried out on a saved photo in .jpg, so that I may use info to remember/apply same effects to another photo. I'm sure I saw this facility in elements on tutorials on YouTube before buying elements 12. Tearing my hair out. I like to experiment when editing, so I can't keep writing down loads of moves to every photo as I add or subtract effects etc., and I only wish to know what effects I used if the final image is really interesting and I want to copy those fx on another or other photos. There MUST be a details list!! Please................?? Tearing my hair out - what's left anyway! Help appreciated. Can't find beginners tutorials on this issue alone. Thanks..

I'm not sure what you saw in the videos, but the history panel only shows what you have done in a particular editing session and then once you close the photo that info is gone. Also, if you want to keep layers you need to save in a format like tiff or psd that lets you save a layered file. JPEGs never have layers.

I have selected 'Show on edit details page' for the property 'Status Message' for the User Profile Service, yet i do not see the property.

I would like to have the ability for the user to edit the property 'Status Message'. In the properties it says that it should be available in the details section however I am not seeing it there. Does anyone know if I might have something set
incorrectly or is this expected behavior.

Mail greyed out so cant edit details

cannot edit or add another account to phone, initially caused by changing password onthe computer for mail.
therefore cannot changed details on the iphone as all the mail items in settings is greyedout

Settings>General>Restrictions...are yours on? Allow Changes>Accounts>On/Off.

Edit a message in place on a JMS queue

In our organisation it is occassionally necessary to edit the message at the 'top' of a jms queue to adjust it's content so the consumer can handle it. We are currently investigating Weblogic server, and trying to determine how weblogic server would allow us to do this.
We can see the export option, which allows the message to be extracted to XML, from which it can be editted.
Unfortunately, the import adds the changed message to the end of the queue, rather than replacing the entry it was created from.
Is there a method that allows for an 'edit in place' result?

I am not aware of a way to edit a JMS message... sounds like a desirable feature though... but it looks like JMS adheres to very strict paradigm of message lifecycle (I love using the word "paradigm", it makes me feel so literate :o) ).
there was already a discussion on this topic on the forum, I can't find it.... I think I remember the conclusion was "no"

I have one dynamic ALV the context as well as Ui elements all are created dynamically
In one of the colum fields I have edit Icon .
that edit Icon appears only when the side by column contains any data.
Now I have several doubts on this .
1. Where its mentioned about the Icon
2. How to change the Icon depending upon certain conditions.

1. Is this icon appearing in separate column ? it could be Link to action UI element and it is image property is binded to it.
You can see thin in ALV_configuration. You might have a method like configure-alv or init-alv like that. Check that out.
2. You can change the image by supplying another image source to the property. My guess is that now image-source property of an ui element (image,Linktoaction..etc) is binded to a context attribute of type string.
Based on your condition supply set new values to the context attribute.
