Edit email template in SAP EC

Someone knows how to edit SAP EC email template in order to insert other data from SAP EC Facility?
Is it possible?
I looked for some detailed explanation about how it works in the manuals but I couldn't find anything.

The stationery feature does not seem to work.
Most times, when I try to open my saved stationery document, the body of the message is empty. If the body is visible then the text is not editable.
I want to have a simple document into which I can apply a "to address" and customize the salutation.

Email Template Variables

Can someone provide or point me to a list of all the variables that are available in the email templates for SAP Ecommerce? You know, things like %%UserID%%, %%Subject%%, etc.
I swear I had a list at one point, but who knows what happened to that. Maybe it's even in a help file somewhere and I'm too dumb to find it.

SE61 - Editing Emails

Hi All,
I am editing email templates used in GRC access request as per our requirement in SE61 Tcode. A sample of email notification being used is as shown below:
I wanted to make few text as "BOLD" and few text as underlined in emails. I searched in the forum and for SAP notes, but couldn't find any help. I tried using HTML tags or or <BOLD> but none of them are working. Please help me with this for making texts bold or italicize or underline using correct tags.

Its my mistake, I should have checked HTML 5 tags for help and then should have posted my query here. Neverthless, with the help of Alessandro, I went in correct way and able to complete all things required.

Error msg trying to get to edit event template

Below is the message, any time I try to edit an event template or email template. Mac OSX 10.9.2, Safari 7.0.3 Savvy user. Have edited events and templates many times before. PLEASE check on this one and reply.

How to trigger GP email template

Hi,
I have created 2 Callable Objects(Requester and Approver)and using those two have created a GP process.
Now i need to trigger a GP email template so that when requester clicks on Submit button and the request is with Approver, mail ( which is written in GP email template) is sent to the approver.
I am using send mail code on click on Submit button in WD Requester Callabel Object.However not sure how to trigger mail template.
Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.

Two things are pre-requisite for sending the mails.
1) smtp.server should be configured
2) smtp.service_user_mail should be mentioned
You can configure the above settings in the Visual Admin-> caf/eu/gp/model
Also you need to create email templtes in Maintain E-Mail Templates section.
Creating CO is very straight forward. Use wizard to create the CO.
In set configuration section, specify the email template to be used. also specify the reciever where the mail should be sent.
If everything is configured successfully you can successfully send a mail.

Unable to edit document template in SharePoint 2013

We have uploaded a set of templates that users can select from the drop down list in the Document field in the Document Library. We now need to edit one of these document templates.
We follow the procedure and make the edits which changes the template but when we then select that template from the drop down list, the edits have not been actioned.
Can anyone please assist?

As I understand, The modification was not saved back to the template.
How do you edit the document template?
Check if the URL of the template is right. You can go to the site setting->site content type->click the content type you want to edit->advanced setting->edit the template->open the template, and click file->to check if the URL under the template is right.
As a workaround, when you edit the template you can save the template in the local computer, and you can upload the template you have saved in the advanced setting for the content type.

Error while entering Long message in Email Template

Yes that is right what is mentioned above, first you give the company code and name then give the currency then select address (Shift+F5) and in that if you select country as IN then it will automatically come to master data.

Email templates using data from iWork Numbers spreadsheet

As a photographer, when I get a call from a client to book a shoot, my first step is to open my bookings spreadsheet in Apple's Numbers and input the client's info into pre-determined columns: name, phone number, job date, job scheduled arrival time, job address, job city, travel distance, details regarding the shoot, and then I have a list of columns that specify costs (cost for work, taxes, travel, etc--automatically calculated via functions in spreadsheet).
Immediately after I insert this information into the bookings spreadsheet, I open another file (a text file)--a text template I created to confirm bookings--and fill in the blanks using the information from the spreadsheet. Once that info has been filled out, I copy and paste the entire text file into an an email and email it to the client for his confirmation/records. The email template text (txt) file I use is included below.
Question: Is it possible to create a script that will read the specified row in my Numbers booking spreadsheet (ie, the row where I input the information in the spreadsheet) and have the information inserted into the separate text confirmation template (apple pages or text or email?) at specified areas within the text? If so, can someone help me make something like this? Here's the template I use:

Then I exported this template to the FIM Portal server, in the "Email Template" administration section on the Portal.
Where must I put the image to allow FIM to link it? Which attribute have I to modify with the correct path (src?)? And how?

The problem with using "cid" for embedded images is that the email message needs to be formatted differently. You don't have control over the header, mime type and other aspects that need to be defined to include and reference a "cid image" in the message
body.
First, the message header will need to have the following fields:

How to edit "Solution Template"

Hi @ all,
is the any way to edit the solution template in NDS? I'm able to edit the existing email templates like "Article Information" or "Group Information".
If I solve an incident ticket the user become an notification ticket with the SOLUTION field and the "Incident Information" in it.
And therefore I want to know how to edit the "Solution" in the closed incident email notification.

The Solution template is called CloseRequest and can be edited in the Setup > Email > Templates section. You need to ensure the menu option "Full Email Templates" is selected though.

Edit Display Templates missing controls

Hi,
I'm having problems working with Search Display Templates on SharePoint Online. It started when I uploaded and published two new templates. When I edit the properties of a Search Results Web Part to use these templates, they are not appearing in the Display
Templates dropdowns (Results Control Display Template and Item Display Template).
Going to the Design Manager: Edit Display Templates page, there are no controls displayed at the top to enable me to manage the Display Templates. On other sites there are 'New, Upload, Actions and Settings' actions available.
I'm suspicious that the two issues are linked. I've compared features on the site collection that works and the one that doesn't - both on the same tenancy - and they both have the same features enabled at a site collection and site level. I also have
the same permission level on both sites.
Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Hi Colin,
Please go to Design Manager->Edit Display Templates page, and check whether the
Approval Status of the two all are Approved. If not, please click the ECB menu->Publish a Major Version to publish them.

Email Template on CRM5.0

Hi Guys
Ive created email templates on our development box. And its displayed when i log onto webclient. Transported config onto QA and the config is the exact same as on DEV. But when I open the webclient on QA, templates are not reflecting
This is the steps ive taken
Ive created template under SAP menu- Marketing- Personalized Mail - Maintain Mail Template
Went to IMG-CRM-Interaction Center Webclient-Basic Function- Communication channels - Define Standard response Groups
Clicked on new entry and entered following
Std Response Group = Z**stdrespgroup
Form Name = z**"
Save and transported the changes
Then went back to IMG- CRM-Interaction Webclient- Basic Function- Communication Channels- Define Email profile
Chose my required email profile = z**
Entered std response group = z**stdrespgroup
Saved changes
Templates only visible on DEV and NOT on QA
Note : Ive created this on both environments, Config as the exact same! still no luck!

Email Template issues

Hi Gurus,
IHAC who has a Provisioning Account Complete email template assigned on Notification tab for Create User task.
The email template is a Provisioning Related type and they are using some Requested Related tags.
At the Recon events, after createUser task is complete the email has been sent as below.
No information is got from OIM and the tags are displayed. The customer needs to have login information sent by email.
Is anything wrong?

Enabling Email template in Web UI

Hi
One of the requirements with respect to email templates is that the on the web UI screen, say for example, the service order screen, there would be a button on the screen(for Emails), on the click of which the user views an email template with auto filled data mapped to certain fields and standard data available in template.
The user can then edit the email and then send the same to the customer.
Any inputs on the approach would be appreciated.

I think we can use mail forms in WebUI for this.
CRMD_EMAIL form is now available in WebUI when we login using Marketing Manager Business Role (and in others as well).
Templates can be created and you can send out mail sfrom the webUI screen itself.
