Edit my number in iPhone 4S

Hi, i have an iPhone 4S and i can't edit my telephone number. It say "unknown" and i can't change it.
Is anybody having the same problem?
I don't konw if this is a carrier issue or a software

I had this problem and went round and round with the carrier (Vodafone) and Apple. Nobody knew how to fix it. Soft-reset didn't work and I only wanted to do a hard reset as a last resort.
I found this forum thread and tried the suggestion re: changing iMessage settings from ragsfromglasgow and it's now fixed!!
Go to Settings > Messages and turn off iMessage if it's on. Then turn it on. You then have to log in and successfully connect to the iMessage server, so entering correct settings here is critical.
Once you're able to connect to iMessage, you can then turn it off if you want (I did)
Voila, your phone number shows in Settings > Phone> My Number, and is also editable again.
iMessage seems to cause lots of problems with other phone settings; this isn't the first time I've had trouble with it.

I work for a organisation based in Sydney and we have a team license for creative cloud (single edition).
We have been producing single folio apps for the iPad and want to continue this through 2015.
At the moment we can only create apps for the iPad platform. If we upgrade to a Professional Edition DPS license can we create an unlimited number of Single edition apps for iPad, iPhone and Android devices?
We do not need multi-folio apps as we are not a publishing company.

If you go to the computer where your sync your phone to and open itunes and then go to edit in the tool bar then preferences then device preferences then devices.. hover the mouse pointer over your device name in the back up lists that appear there and it shows the IMEI

Don't you believe that this limitation should be done in some other way?
In my opinion, there should be a limit for a number of iphones of the same generation.
I had 2 Iphones 2G (i broke one), now I use 2 iphones 3G, and one of them was replaced due to warranty issues. That means I've already used up the limit of 5 phones for one account and as I wanna update to 3GS, i'll have to buy all the software from the store again! Do you think it's fair? It is all for my personal use, I just want to have the up-to-date gadget and they break down quite frequently, that's why I change them!

The limit is on COMPUTERS not devices. You can have an unlimited number of iPhones and iPods on your iTunes account, but only 5 authorized computers.

Are you having wrong number display in "My Number" on iPhone 4S after porting # from another carrier? Try this.

My story: I am in the US. I went from carrier AT&T to Sprint, and ported my old number over after purchasing and recieving a new iPhone 4S from Sprint. Since the phone was shipped, I waited to port until I had the phone in hand to avoid changeover delays.
All worked fine except:
Sometimes when texting to my contacts, they reported the number showing up as the # issued to te phone when shipped, not my old ported #.
"My Number" on iPhone 4S showed shipped number, not ported number.
I discovered the problem is the number rooted in "My Number". Since it didn't change as expected, certain functions including Facetime and iMessage referred to "My Number".
So here's the fix:
From your Sprint iPhone 4s, dial ##873283#
A pop-up window will open, hit OK to "Start Service Update".
Another pop-up will open shortly, "Service Update Complete", Hit "Done"
Power cycle your iPhone 4s. You're now done. All should be fixed.
I don't claim coming up with this fix. I discovered it after trolling many forums on the subject to find one that fit my exact circumstance. This may work on your carriers as well, but refer to your carrier service tech support to make sure the Service Update code is the same. I shared this fix with Sprint Support, as they knew nothing about it, and it's become part of their normal procedure to address this particular issue.

I imported edited pics from my iPhone and iPhoto ignored all modifications.

Yesterday I took photographs of images that I found at home. I simply edited them on my iPhone to remove the borders and it looked brilliant! However, when I imported the edited pics into iPhoto, all the changes were ignored. iPhoto showed the raw originals, not the edited ones. There was no way to change that. Why?? That was 2 hrs of wasted time on my weekend. Not very Apple-like...

I am sure I have all the latest software updates installed... Probably really gonna have to wait for "Photos.app"
If you enable iCloud Photo Library (Beta) on your iPhone in the Photos&Camera Settings, you can download the edited photos using the Photos (Beta) app on the iCloud web interface, at https://www.icloud.com/
The mobile devices with iOS 8 already support iCloud Photo Library. The only drawback will be, that you can no longer sync photos from your Mac to the iPhone using iTunes. You will have to upload using the web interface as well.
