Edit & Print listing of all Playlist Titles

I have had to create custom 15 character Playlist Titles in order to navigate the iPod Classic through the factory radio in my vehicle using a 'Lockpick' adapter. The functionality works and sounds great, but its frustrating that I can't find a way to edit (add descriptions) and print a simple listing of my Playlist Titles for reference. Seems like a stupid question, but how do I access Playlist Titles as text within iTunes? Print Screen won't even work because the list is too long. But that shouldn't even be necessary. The Titles are visible in iTunes, where are they listed in the program files?

Use MetaData Repository in your BW system.
On the Admin Workbench
   MetaData Repository
   Click Business Content
   Click on InfoObject Catalogue (SD)
   Select SD characteristics
   and print from there.

Can't edit printer list, can't set up printers - Powermac G5, OSX 10.3.9

Hi,
I recently installed a new hard drive to our Powermac G5 and reinstalled OSX 10.3.9. While we had no problems printing previously I can't even install a printer now.
When I tried to print for the first time it automatically detected the Konica Minolta Bizhub printer we have, however it used a generic post script driver.
As soon as I saw that, I tried to install the printer properly, by doing this:
Click system preferences > click print and fax > click set up printers. Clicking set up printers has no effect. Neither does selecting 'Edit printer list' from the drop down menu of printers below.
The generic postcript driver will not work for us because there are certain functions that need to be enabled using the manufacturs driver for it to print properly. Consequently when I try and print it doesn't work.
What I've tried so far:
1)Restarting the machine. No effect.
2)Following some advice on the Apple website I have deleted the Library/printers folder, and reinstalled the driver from the Konica website then restarted the machine. No effect.

A PowerMac G5 running the ancient Panther?

How can I get a Printed list of 'all' of my playlists and the songs that are in each list

I want to get a printout of 'ALL' of my playlists and the songs that are in each one. All at once.

And you are aware of the possible options for listing the months and having an optional export value for each month.
For listing the months, you can use a number, a 3 character string, or the full name.
For the export value, the full name, the 3 character value, the 1-2 number, or the 0-11 JavaScript value.
I would look at deciding how you want to populate the drop down box and build a one page form with just this field. You can then insert that page into a PDF and copy the field as needed and then delete the inserted page. Or you could create an FDF file to create the drop down box.

Editable Print List

Just wondered if anyone could help me.
I have created a Price List in Indesign CS2 for a client, and they would like to be able to edit the prices in acrobat Pro and then compress the file and send it onto their customers - as and when the prices change.
I am having real problems doing this, is this possible?
I just wondered if somebody could talk me through the correct way to export the pdf from indesign so the text can be edited in Acrobat, then exported again in acrobat so the text cannot be edited by anyone else.

I think the correct way to do this is to create the PDF as you normally would, making sure the fonts are all embedded (but not subset).
Your customer would then need the full version of Acrobat Professional and they would also need to have the fonts used supplied to them so they could then load them into their system. I would also suggest that they get the the plug-in Pitstop Professional to add to their copy of Acrobat. Makes type changes and other adjustments more easily.
When you design the piece try and use only Open Type Fonts or Windows Truetype fonts so that whether you work in Windows or OSX you both have access to the fonts.
Then your customer should be able to make the type changes. After they are done, then re-save the PDF with security features.

There is nothing wrong with either your computer or printer. The problem is with the recent iTunes11 download. Apple have said that they are aware of a number of problems and a new release rectifying all of them will be released in a few weeks time. We can only wait and see but until then yes as mentioned by another contributor I have been just printing a playlist and then scale it down in windows excel by copy and pasting. Hope this helps.

Adobe PDF missing from printer list in all cs4

I have cs4 and have noticed in illustrator and photoshop that adobe PDF has suddenly disappeared from my drop down list when I go to print.
Any help much appreciated!

I used to lose the printer in my vista regularly, but it always came back with a restart. The repair does help. I have not had the problem in quite a while. Glad the repair worked for you.

IPod Window in iTunes recognizes not all Playlists

I already phoned with a man from the AppleSupport, but he couldn't help me.
http://www.schib.ch/michael/iTunesProb.png u can see a red framed list with all playlists... There should be all. But there are not all playlists in it. On the left, i can select all playlist and listen to the music "in it"...
How can I solve this problem?
i did:
- i restored my iPod
- i installed the last version of iTunes
- i restarted my system

Transfer a printer list

I would like to transfer a list of printers (with all settings, IPs, etc) from one Mountain Lion machine to another.
I think Migration assistant will do this, but I want to transfer JUST the printer list, not all files.
Is there a way to accomplish this. I have seenmany discussions of this, but all on older operating sustems and none were very definitive.

Yes I discovered that it was at the root and how to get there after I sent my last message. I did find that copying the printers.conf file wasn't enough, so I moved over all of the files that were in /etc/cups and that did the trick. The only additional thing I needed to do was to run Software Update to get some new drivers for a few printers and then I had to specifically download three drivers for some Toshiba copiers we have networked as printers. Tomorrow the tech guys at work are coming to see me about how to transfer the printer list. They have been trying to figure it out for a while! Thanks for all of your help!!

And if you pipe the result of Charlie's suggestion to a file, you have it printed out:
in the Terminal you enter following command first:
cd <enter>
now you are in the root folder ... and then:
sudo ls -R */ | grep '/$' | cat > ~/Desktop/folders.txt <enter>
to explain:
certain folders are only readable by the administrator. That means, we precede this command by sudo; you have to enter your password
ls means list, the switch -R means recursive
| means pipe the command to an other command and grep is taking only the entries finishing with a / (that means folders only, not the files
then we | pipe everything to the command cat, which puts the found folders into a file on the desktop ...

In iTunes, is it possible to sort by albums, without all the songs listed below each album title?

It seems there was something in the recent iOS7 release that have made a few changes in the way itunes is viewed on the iPhone. In the past I would sort by artist, which would then show all the albums. Now it shows all the albums, but with all the songs listed below each album title. I have several artist with over 50 albums, I don't want to scroll through all of the songs. I clocked it at 1.3 miles to scroll through all of them. If I sort by album, it does not group by the artist, just the album title. Any possible way to get this view back?

No, I meant if you tap on the album title in the Artist viewso, does it collapse the song listing? Next, I asked if all the songs were not on the phone, like the ones you showed in the photo (with the cloud symbol). It appears that most of these songs are not really on your phone. What happens if you go to Settings>Music>Show All Music>Off as I mentioned in the last post. Here is a screen shot of my music app in Artist view.
This is a mix of songs purchased from iTunes and self-ripped CDs that I have in my collection.
