Edit standard bank-file formats Payment Engine

Hi Everyone,
Is it possible to edit the standard bank-file formats for payment engine?
In swedish format is not correct in 8.81 PL06
All the formats are in dll-format...
We do not want to recreate a standard format from scratch

Hi Anders,
It seems the .dll formats used for the payment engine are superceded by the new formats created in the EFM Format Definition.
There appears to be no assistance available from anyone to convert the existing formats and I have found no documentation that aids the creation of new formats that will link to the Payment Engine.
If you have found any way around this, please share?
Thanks
The note referred to by Jitin explains how to amend existing BPP formats, of which there are none unless you have created one, and the suggestion to obtain them from support will get you sent back to the forums for support....

  • Exporting bank file by payment wizard

    Hi Guys,
Another question about the payment wizard for exporting bank file. After pulling the bank file from payment wizard, I found the exported file is an empty file. There is no content in the bank file. The localization of our system is China. I am trying to use  SAPBPATIB_MT940 format, which is Austrian, to export the file. My guess is the format only works for Austrian localization. Is that true?
    Best Regards,
    Leon

    Hi Leon,
payment engine is not supported for China, so even if you set bank file formats, you won't be able to create bankfiles.
Your local SAP field office should be in a position to advise you on alternative possibilities.
    All the best,

  • Premiere and Media Encoder will will no longer export my edit to any file format.

This is on a Windows 8.1 PC.
The edit exported fine until I made one big mistake.
I created a Nested Edit to make a quick alteration.
Since then the following is now the case and I cannot go back to an earlier edit to fix this.
Premiere and Media Encoder will will no longer export my edit to any file format. Using either the Export Option or Media Encoder.  Get a dialog that says "Unknown Error Compiling Movie"
There is nothing wrong with my footage.  This edit worked fine and I export through Media Encoder many times until I made a Nested Edit within the Premiere Project.
I have tried all sorts of searches on the net for a fix to this but nothing seems to be current or indeed works.
Any help would be appreciated as this is a show stopper.

Thanks for the reply Mark, appreciated.
I have found a work around but it still leaves a long term issue for Adobe to fix.
    As to your first solution:
1).  The nested edit is already in its own timeline panel.  It will not export or encode via media encoder.  This is the problem.
2).  I will try the KEM roll feature but I have a work around see following.
3).  No I do not have a nested edit within a nested edit.
I did a lot of research on the net on this issue as it happened to a colleague of mine on his machine about two weeks ago.  It took me six hours to get a fix and in his case there were six video clip that had read errors.  When I overwrote those clips from the original backup master it fixed the problem.  However I was never able to use Media Encoder again to export his project without it failing.  I could only use the Export feature.  Again he had used a nested edit in his project.
I my case I do not have any nested edits within a nested edit.  All I did was drag my main edit onto the New Sequence icon at the bottom of the Project Bin.  This of course created a nested edit in a new Timeline Panel which is what I wanted.  I then slid the entire nested edit to the right in the timeline by two seconds as all a wanted to do was add two seconds of black at the head of the edit.  That was it.  From that point of creating the nested edit Media Encoder and the Export option failed every time with the fore mentioned error.
The final work around was one of those I found previous mention of during my research.  I created a new clean Premiere Pro CC 2014 project, I then used the import option under the file menu.  I imported only the original main edit which brought in that edit along with all the required footage.  This would then export to disk using the Export feature.  However, Media Encoder will still not encode this new edit, it fails the same way every time, 'Unknown Error Compiling Movie'.
As a test I loaded the old corrupt edit project back up and deleted the nested edit sequence completely and re-saved it.  This had no effect and did not fix the problem.  This particular project file will no longer export directly or via media encoder at all no matter what I do.
This seems pretty serious to me.  I worked on this edit for a whole month without issue, encoding out roughs as a went without any issue, it was only yesterday after I made the nested edit that the project file is now useless as it will not encode out at all.  Yes I have a work around and was able to salvage my project and get it rendered in time for my deadline but the fact I have a partially working Project that Media Encoder will not touch does not instill me with confidence for long term use of Premiere Pro if this is going to happen again.
Is there some place I can send this project file to Adobe to see if they can find out what is wrong with it?  I am not the only person having this issue I have seen other post going all the way back through CS6 it seems.

  • Convert the Database records to a standard XML file format?

    Hai,
i want to convert the Database records to a standard XML file
format which includes the schema name, table name, field name
and field value. i am using Oracle 8.1.7. Is there any option
    please help me
    Thanks in advance.

You could put the files somewhere and I can export them as QuickTime. Or you could find anyone you know who has Director. Or do the 30 day trial download
Another approach would be to play the DCR in a browser window, and do a screen recording. But that’s unlikely to give the perfect frame rate that you would get by exporting from Director.

    Hello,
In my case our bank was sending us a file using the version 085, while we were waiting for one of those: 030, 040, 050, 084 or 087.
Now they will send these files using the version 087.
    Thank you!

  • Payment Engine - Bank file format Westpac

    Hi,
We have a client who cannot load a bank file to Westpac (2007 A PL 05). They need to manually remove the balancing line and adjust the line count, before uploading.
The problem appears to be that Westpac does not accept the self balancing line. Other application like MYOB have an option to include or exclude this line.
Can anyone help as to how this is possible to remove this balancing (CREDITOR) line in the SAP generated file.
    Kind Regards,
    Eric

    Francesca,
The file path that you select is only for that particular transaction and not a global setting that gets saved.  So there might not be a way to make the system remember the path.
Secondly about the filename to be automatically name to avoid overwriting is something you would have to handle outside of SBO.  May be like a small system program.

  • Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Standard Combine Files Format Issue

I have an issue combining multiple PDF files into one. Every week we create a sales deck that is made of up 30 or so files. most of the files are created from a program called Cognos Impromptu using the Cognos PDF Server 5.0.44.0. According to the document properties, it creates a PDF Version: 1.3(Acrobat 4.x). I can not change this conversion setting.
I then convert several word documents and Excel documents into PDF files separately and then combine them all together. These individual files are created using Acrobat Distiller 7.0.5 (Windows) and creates a PDF Version: 1.4(Acrobat 5.x).
The problem happens when I throw one of the files created from Cognos into the mix. It causes the formatting on the PDF files created from word and excel to become "ugly". Random letters just drop off from the report and make it unreadable. Pages created from the cognos reports are always ok. If I try the combine excluding the cognos converted PDF files, it works perfectly.
This happened when we got new computers last week. By some stroke of luck, I was able to fix it on my computer and I don't have the issue any more. However, I am trying to fix it on my coworkers computer and Im not having any luck. Our settings match perfectly in Acrobat, Distiller, and PDF Maker installed in Excel and Word. I don't even know what I did to fix mine.
If anyone has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it. We are both running Windows XP and have Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Standard edtion.
    Thank you

    Bill,
thanks for the reply. I think i got it. When they gave us the new computers, they installed a copy of acrobat without some of the latest updates. update 7.0.5,.7,.8, and .9 were missing from our programs. I also noticed that her create to PDF setting for microsoft office was set to standard but the distiller was using high quality. i think fixing the combination of the two may have fixed it. I am going to try and create a full report and see. I will post back and let you know if the issue is gone.
    thanks again.

  • Standard interface file format to create WBS elements

    Hi Gurus,
Could you please let me know where I could find the SAP standard file entry format to create WBS elements master data?
The goal is to interface WBS master data from an upstream system to ECC6.
By the way, do you know an easy way to create a "real time" interface between an upstream system and ECC in order to skip the batch part?
    Thanks & regards,

What do you mean by it.  If it is MSP or primvera than some standard integration product are there. Otherwise take help of technical team and figure out best solution.

  • Predefined bank file format for bank statement processing?

    Hi Guys,
Currently I am working on the bsp add-on. According to the tutorial from SAP portal, there are some predefined Bank Format Project (bfp) files. Does anyone have an idea where I can get these files? I am looking for the bfp file of MT940 SWIFT. Thank you very much! Any reply would be appreciated!
    Best Regards,
    Leon

    Hi Gordon,
Thank you so much for your welcome and prompt reply. The localization is Chinese. But the client is using HSBC service which only provides swift MT940 format. I believe Dutch is included in the system of 2007A. Unfortunately, our system is 2007B. Is there any chance I can download the bfp file from SAP portal site or other places? Thank you very much again for your help. I am looking forward to hear from you!
    Cheers,
    Leon

Please first check the localization, this feature is NOT open to the US localization in current version.
Kindly go through note 752355 with the Bank Files Formats for AddOn - Payment Engine.

  • ABN AMRO file format BSI VDB

    Hi Experts,
We are implementing payment using ABN AMRO bank file formats.
SAP provided 2 standard file formats (BTL91 and CLIEOP03) for NL, but we also need to make payments in UK.
ABM AMRO requires BSI VDB (BankStation International Variable-Debit-Beneficiary version 1.0 u2013 BSI_VDB_V1_0, Tab Separated) file format for payments in UK. The file then can be uploaded in ABN AMRO Access Online application.
Did anybody developed the format tree in DME for this format?
    Thanks
    Igor

    Hi Ravi,
    Thanks for your reply.
We are using GB_BACS format for another company code in UK for payments with Barclay's bank and I know how to configure DME.
I cannot use this format as a model for ABN AMRO, since the format they require is completely different.
BSI VDB format is tab delimited. I've contacted SAP and they suggested, that SAP DME does not support tab delimited formats. The delimiters you can define in DME should be visable characters (the ones you can type on the keyboard). They suggested to create new foramt tree with some delimiter (like ',' or '|") and then use Badi (DMEE_BADI_01) to replace the delimiter.
I can do all this, but thought somebody already developed the solution, so I don't have to reinvent the wheel. I guess not.
    Thanks
    Igor

  • Which file format renders the fastest?

I'm a student and I'm editing variety of file formats and codecs like .wmv, .mp4 (h.264/aac), .mpeg, .mov, and others...
What project settings should I use to render or export these videos fast?
Or, if that is not possible...
What file format should I convert all the videos before editing?
(Like if you are using Final Cut Pro, you convert it to Apple ProRes422 first before you edit)
    Thanks guys!

We have two i5 laptops. I ran some tests with intermediate CODECs (Cineform and Matrox).  In the case of HD footage it didn't help improve workflow or playback quality at all.  The bottleneck is the architecture of a laptop - they just can't move the data around fast enough.  CPU wasn't under much strain, GPU (Nvidia in our case) wasn't being taxed and 8GB of RAM should be plenty for basic editing.  Ours fly editing DV and do OK with HDV but full HD is just beyond reach for more than a couple of streams or any kind of keying.  We do have MXO2 Max units and also eSATA drives attached - the 1st gen i5 systems with Nvidia GPUs are plenty powerful for SD and simple HD jobs.  Encoding the Matrox is fast to H.264 - which is great for BD, Vimeo, iPad etc.  The reason you see variations in decoding and transcoding speed is that codecs vary in complexity. Many are designed for distribution rather than editing OR in the case of AVCHD (and other Mpeg4 variants) highly compressed to save space/bandwidth. As such they need a lot of computing grunt to decode them.  Laptops definitely have limited architecture compared to most desktops. Think of them as having a good engine and tyres but a lousy gearbox.
