Edit the rejected SC from UWL

In current situation if SC is rejected by Manager, Requester has the ability to EDIT & re-submit the SC via POWL, however it is not possible when Requester access the work item from Approval Inbox. How to re-submission of SC should be possible from Approval Inbox and the workflow should be re-determined based on the new changes done by Requester in SC.We are migrating from ACW to PCW hence kindly suggest for Process controlled workflow.

MQ Adapter does not clear the rejected message from the queue

Hi All,
I'm using a MQ Adapter to fetch the message from the queue without any Backout queue configured. However, whenever there is any bad structured message found in the queue, MQ adapter rejects the message and moves the message to the rejmsg folder but does not clear it off the queue, as a result of which it keeps retrying the same hence, filling the logs and the physical memory. Somehow we do not have any backout queue configured so I can move the message to blackout queue. I have tried configuring the jca retry properties and global jca retry as well but to no avail.
- Is it not the default behaviour of MQ Adapter to remove the rejected message from the queue irrespective of Backout queue is configured or not? The same behaviour working well with the JMS and File Adapter though.
- Is there any way I can make MQ Adapter delete the message from that queue once it is rejected?

Please check that the JDK compliance level is at 5.0
Window->Preferences->Java->Compiler->Compiler compliance level set this to 5.0
Set the installed JRE to the one you have mentioned JDK 5.0 update 16
Window->Preferences->Java->Installed JRE's->
Click on the add button to select the path of your JDK.
once completed click on the check box next to it.

How can I edit the SamAccountName column from the list or be able to edit it?

In my view for a SharePoint list, I see three columns for SamAccountName. This list is for listing staff as a directory, so there are phone numbers, names, emails addresses, division, department and such. The SamAccountName
column for some people has incorrect username or is blank. When I edit a record in the list, the SamAccountName column is not available to edit.
How can I edit the SamAccountName column from the list or be able to edit it?
I do have user profiles working and importing profiles from AD, but the list still shows empty or incorrect SamAccountName for some records.

If the user does not remember the encryption password there is no way to use the backup.
The password cannot be removed or reset.
Delete the backup, restore as new. Sync the desired content to the device.

How to get the workitem id from UWL

           I have developed a workflow and   starting this workflow from webdynpro abap.I integrated that task in SWFVISU
transaction to trigger the webdynpro from UWL up to now its working fine.
but now the problem is i need to get the WI_ID of the particular workitem (which i clicked on UWL to trigger my webdynpro application).

How to fix the screen launched from UWL

Please let me ask concerning subject because I couldn't find similar topic from past questions.
Now I'm in troubled by following situation.
At current project, several portal roles are allocating end-user.
Then if one end-user has only manager role, the screen fron launched from UWL is the ivew of navigation of mangager role.
But if one-end user has another role in addition to manager role,
the screen fron launched from UWL is the iview of navigation of another role, not manager role.
So, I would like to fix like when launching screen from UWL, that screen is the iveiw of manager role.
Is there any setting to avoid to catch the iview of another role's navigation??
This phenomenon happens only manager role.(launching screen from UWL)
Conerning another roles, even if end-user has several roles, launched screen is displayed as the view of navigation of each role.

I am Migrating the project from MS Project 2007 to MS Project 2013.In that i save the project as a file first in 2007 and then open that file in MS Project 2013 And publish it.But in some Project when i am Trying to change the projects details from

Is it posible to trigger the rejection activity from backend?

We have an issue in production with a candidate whom the recruiter wants to send a rejection to. But when the activity is chosen the correspondence is instead the invite letter (hrrcf_CS_IT_invite), this should have been hrrcf_CS_IT_rejection.
So far its only this one candidate who has this problem.
So the question is, is there a way to complete the activity from backend?
I am thinking something like transaction se24 => CL_HRRCF_CANDIDATE_APPLICATION => F8 => method GET => enter application ID => F8 => ???? is it possible to push it forward?

Yes you can send the letter from backend using SOST t-code.
First check the SOST t-code and see how many communicaion sent to that candidate.
You can also check the workflow triggered for that candidate in SWIA and SWI5 if it is not correct then you have to check with the workflow team.

I am using VS2012 with powertools 2013 and our TFS Server is 2013. when i try to edit a BUG WI template i am getting an error as shown in the picture.

The article you referred to states "VS 2012 connecting to TFS 2013: Install TFS 2012 Power Tools (since the power tools need to match the VS version)", which you can download from this
link.
However the TFS 2012 Power Tools article states it only supports TFS 2012, so pretty much the scenario you are trying to work out is not supported, but you might want to give it a try.

Administrator: edit the customized pages from every user...

Here is a situation:
Every user has a page. Users have my page as HOME PAGE. That is a setting i did on the properties from the user group. The basic of every users page is my page (as set in the properties of that user group), but all users has addept it to their saticfaction. So a lot of different pages, but based upon my page. They only customized it. Now, I want , as administrator, to have control of all the different pages. Via the navigator i can go to the User Pages and then click on the user i prefer. But then i do not see their page. I see nothing. So by the time they changed their passwords, i cannot see and edit their sites anymore. But I want that.

I created a test package and then assigned the SAP delivered Benefits process to the test package content. It worked great. However, I ran into a problem when I deleted the test package. IT DELETED THE SAP DELIVERED BENEFITS PROCESS as well. Is there any way I can get it back?

I am currently setting up mysite. I was able to configure the mysite-masterpage for all profiles, but I can't seem to change the masterpage for the blog! What is the best way to change the masterpage from all blogs?

Allright, I've found some time to look into the whole design again, and I can see what the problem with this solution is.
With the solution mentioned above, new created subsites under the masterpage are set up with the declared masterpage. The problem here is, that with my personal profile-links ... (f.e)

So is there any way to:
a) Change the link from the MySite-Creation in order to configure a masterpage with the solution mentioned in another post above?
or b) Perform the changes (mentioned here above) in a different way?

Not able to edit the report from BO 5.1

Hi,
User has Business Objects 5.1 version on his machine and he is able to login to Business Objects 5.1.2 and can also open the BO reports from the required path
When he edit the report, the BO is gettng hung and following errors occured one by one when he clicks ok button
error1: "you must close this universe(name of universe) before importing it"
when he clicks OK button on this error, second error is received
error2: "Some obsolete objects have been removed from the query. (QP0027)"
When he clicks OK button on this error, third error is received
error3:"A connection required to refresh this document is unavailable(DA0004)"
I am not understanding why these three errors are receiving one by one.Please tell me how to resolve above errors and edit the report

Normally,what we do is once we provide access to webi users group for each user from BO supervisor module, user(s) will able to refresh/edit the existing report from Full client BO.His colleagues have had no problem editing all his reports from their machines but he is not able to edit any report from his machine and BO is getting freeze.
He also reinstalled BO and cleaned out everything on his Computer and re-built it but the issue is not yet resolved
Can you please tell me how to resolve this issue

I know the solution about this but want to know the reason why the rejected Materials from SO still reflecting in MD04? Is it standard program issue or need to implement any exit to avoid this issue?
I think the table VBBE was not updated properly while rejecting those material so still reflecting in MD04 but not sure.
