Edit the select option in an existing Transfer Structure

Hello everybody,
I've a problem with my NW2004s BI-construct which contains reporting for the SAP IS-U sales statistics. I used the SAP BC Data Source, Info Source and Cube. Now I started the data transfer process. The BI 7.0 could connect to the IS-U but it failed with the comment no data selected. I recognized that the selection option in the transfer structure for the object 0PSTG_DATE isn't set which I mean must be set. Has anyone of you a solution for setting the selection flag in the existing transfer structure!

I checked it already. The thing is that the object is marked as a selection object in SAP ECCs Data Source. I also replicated the Data Source again into BI but unfortunately that changed nothing.
Any other suggestions?

SELECT-OPTIONS data wil be stored in a range of values like one internal table.
So if you have to transfer the select options data
then please declare an internal table(I_PERNR) of structure(Z_PERNR_STRC) with fields as below.
1.Create a structure in se11 with the below mentioned fields.
SIGN       CHAR1
OPTION       CHAR2
LOW        PERNR_D
HIGH       PERNR_D
2.Declare an internal table with type as above structure in the class.
I_PERNR TYPE Z_PERNR_STRC.
3.Then pass the select option i.e s_pernr into that internal table.
I_PERNR = S_PERNR.
Now the internal table in the class consists of range of values which are present in the select options s_pernr.
And you can use the internal table as such in the class.

Those menu bar commands are disabled when you do not have a device (your shuffle) selected in iTunes.
If the iTunes sidebar (along left side of iTunes) is hidden, from the menu bar, under View, select Show Sidebar. In the sidebar, your shuffle should be listed under DEVICES. Click on it there to select it. Now, those commands under the File menu should be accessible.
However, once you have the shuffle selected, many of those "device-related" commands in the menu bar are also on the iTunes window. For example, there is a Sync button at the low-right corner of the window, which does the same thing as the command in the menu bar.

Try RANGES.
The RANGES has same structure as that of select-options.

Steps to get SELECT-OPTIONS in module pool programs.
1.Start one dialog program with SAPMZ_001.
Place the below code in the TOP include of the dialog program.
TABLES marc.
SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF SCREEN 3200 AS SUBSCREEN.
SELECT-OPTIONS: werks FOR marc-werks.
SELECTION-SCREEN END OF SCREEN 3200.
2 .Create one screen 3000.
Go to Layout of the screen and Define subscreen area on the screen and Name it as l_subscreen.
Place the below code in the Flow logic of the screen.
PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT.
CALL SUBSCREEN l_subscreen INCLUDING 'SAPMZ_001' '3200'.
PROCESS AFTER INPUT.
CALL SUBSCREEN l_subscreen.
Activate all.
Create Transaction code for the dialog program .
Execute the transaction code. You will see the select-option for werks how we see on Selection-screen.

Selection order to follow the select-option order rather than numerical ord

Hi Gurus!
I have created a program to print Form headers. The program selects the documents from nast table based on the document numbers eneterd in selection screen. When I eneter for example documents :
10000007
10000005
10000001
10000002
10000004 and run the program it prints the headers in sequential order rather than the order I put the documents numbers in selection screen.
It prints
10000001
10000002
10000004
10000005
10000007.
Is there by any chnace a way that I can print it exactly in the same order as the documents are entered in the selection screen?

Yes, I agree. But my suggestion was to display or call the Form FM within the Select-options loop and Read Nast internal table for details. Hope you have restricted the Select options to restrict the entries only for "=" with no extension.
Loop at S_SELOPT.
     Read table GT_NAST into GS_NAST with key OBJKY = S_SELOPT-LOW.
     If Sy-Subrc eq 0.
..... your existing logic to display the form....
     endif.

In BI, How to filter the selection options based on inputs on top field.
The system should automatically filter the lower level drop downs based on the selection of a higher level.
For e.g. :
If a user selects a Country then the States drop down should only display the State's belongs to the Country. Similarly when a State is selected, the District drop down should display only those District's belongs to the State.

How to get all the values in the Select-option.

I got the select-option field so_week, for eg. If I give 200923 to 200926 (year and week) in the selection screen and then I need to pass this value (200923) to the FM 'ZWEEK_GET_FIRST_DAY' to get the first day of the week.
My question is how can i get all the values from the select option, (i.e) i need to get 200923, 200924,200925, 200926.

Because if i declared select-options in executable program and i used SSCRFIELDS to define push buttons in selection screen.
           My requirement if enter the values to select-options and press UPDATE pussbotton then i want call screen which contains tablecontrol.
           How i get select-option values to PAI of call screen for getting the data from database table to my internal table?

Oh I thought that you have selection-screen and again you are working on dialog programming.
if you want to use select-option directly in module pool then it is not possible.
but you can do other way.
create two varaiables
data : v_kun_low like kna1-kunnr,
         v_kun_high like kna1-kunnr.
use these two variables in layout ,let user knows that he can not give options like gt,lt,eq ,it will be always BT.
and also when you see normal report program,you can use multiple values in either low or high,but here it is not possibel.
use can enter only low value and high value.
when you come to program point of view
declare one range
ranges r_kunnr for kna1-kunnr.
do the coding like
r_kunnr-low = v_kun_low.
r_kunnr-high = v_kun_high.
r_kunnr-options = 'BT'.
r_kunnr-sign = 'I'.
append r_kunnr.
now you can use r_kunnr in select query ,it will work like select-option.
other than this there is no option.

In that we are not able to edit the value options in LKM.
(i.e.. editor window is not appearing, not able to edit the text.

We were using JDK1.6.0_29 and it was not supporting ODI 11.1.1.5, so we have uninstalled the JDK1.6.0_29 and reinstall the JDK1.6.0_11.This solves our issue.

Error message for the select options

hi.
i want to throw thw error message if the user enters the value not valid(not in the range) for the zregion1 of zbwcntry of the select options.
and user should be able to correct it before moving ahead.
Also,iis not a mandatory field,So if it is initial,it can b blank.
but if the input doesnot lie in the range,it should give error message on the selction screen.
please guid with the line of codes.

Need to disable one of the select-options in dynamic selection screen

we have copied the Standard program: RFDOPR00 into Z, my requirement is to disable one of the select-options in dynamic selection screen for ex: Reason code(User shouldnot able to enter anything in it).
Can anyone please tell me the procedure to do it... I had tried using at selection-screen but it doesnt work as it in 'LOOP AT SCREEN', i am not able to capture the Parameter name(screen-name).

Hi,
Get inside your selection screen, by executing your program.
Now type /h in the field where you enter transaction code and press enter.
Now again press enter, this will take you debugger starting from your Selection screen.
You might be knowing this, still if you are not aware of this, this might be a valuable tip.
From here , you can trace your Parameter name.

there are four radio buttons
for every radiobutton there is corresponding the select_option filed is associated to it
user as only provision select one radio button and reset of the select-option fileds should be hidden
which ever the radio button is selected corresponding the select-options fileld should be displayed

To hide select options you should use interface method REMOVE_SELECTION_SCREEN_ITEM of IF_WD_SELECT_OPTIONS.
Sample code :
Write the below code in the Event handler of Radio Button.
DATA lv_r_helper_class TYPE REF TO if_wd_select_options.
lv_r_helper_class = lo_interfacecontroller->init_selection_screen(
lv_r_helper_Class->REMOVE_SELECTION_SCREEN_ITEM(exporting i_id = 'Select_option1_id1').
This will hide first select option of your screen.Similarly pass select_option_id2 to hide it and so on.

Get the range table of your selection field as below
          data lt_range_table type ref to data.
          wd_this->m_handler->GET_RANGE_TABLE_OF_SEL_FIELD(
                    exporting
                    i_id = 'VBELN'
                    receiving
                    rt_range_table = lt_range_table ).
Update the selection field with new description - 'Your New Text'
          wd_this->m_handler->UPD_SELECTION_FIELD(
                    exporting
                         I_ID = 'VBELN'
                         I_DESCRIPTION = 'Your New text'
                         I_IS_AUTO_DESCRIPTION = abap_false
                         IT_RESULT = lt_range_table ).
You can also pass the other parameters as per your requirement

Dynamic creation of the select-options

Hi alll,
I have a requirement in which the user has to check the checkbox fields that he wants to have in the select option. Accordingly the select-option fields will be created.
For eg. if the user checks three fields out of ten & executes the program, then in the selection-screen the three select option will be shown those were checked and the other seven select-options will be invisible.
