Editable cells in HTML display

Hi all, I have an internal table. I will convert it into html data and display on screen. Now what I want is , one of those fields should be editable and I need to get that entered value back again.
How can I achieve this. Can you please help me out here?
If you provide me with an example , that would be great.

Dont know about HTML but if you are using HTMLB then use iterator for displaying editable column .
Retrieving value of editable cell of tableview.
above link discusses how to read value of editable cell and update itab.
Search the forum there is sufficient info available.

    Hi All,
    I am using the REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY Function Module to display data in grid and make a column editable using EDIT = 'X' in the fieldcat.Depending on the value in the Column some other column value should change.But the grid values are not getting refreshed.Is there any way to catch the event when the user enters the value in the grid and presses the ENTER button.
    I have an idea of how to handle this situation in case of objects but using Function how can I do this?

    You mentioned that 'through a Function Call in which all the other events like TOP OF PAGE'.
    I guess the FM is 'REUSE_ALV_EVENTS_GET', right?

    Through you can't find the entry about DATA_CHANGE in 'REUSE_ALV_EVENTS_GET' return, you can add a entry manually by yourself. SAP will care this event.
    The FORM will be triggered when the edited cell lost focus.

  • Tree view with editable cells?

    Hi,
    I have written a GTK+-2 based graphical visualizer for the NEC2 antenna simulation and analysis tool http://www.qsl.net/5b4az/pages/nec2.html and I am now considering a companion graphical editor for the NEC2 input file. This file is normally produced with a text editor and specifies antenna geometry and then commands to calculate various data regarding antenna characteristics (gain, input impedance etc).
    Luckily the original NEC2 was written in FORTRAN and the input was punched cards with a fixed format, so the current file format is line-based and with a fixed number of parameters per line: you can get an idea by looking into examples files in http://www.qsl.net/5b4az/pkg/nec2/examples/
    What I need is an idea on how to code a graphical line editor with editable cells for each parameter and the ability to add or delete lines as needed. The data in the cells may be numerical or textual or both and there may be inter-relations between cells, e.g. one cell may have a value that is a fixed proportion of another cell's value etc.

    Yes, thanks! Unfortunately though there is no easy way to have a spin button type editable cell, which would have been best for my needs. However, I found an example in a tutorial for the TreeView which could make a basis for a home brew second-best solution! 

  • Editable cell in ALV OO with F4 Help

    Hi Abapers,
    i have an ALV with an editable cell wich an F4 help is available on it. When clicking on the F4 button i'm getting the list of possible values but when choosing a value it is not updating the alv cell. (F4 help is on a Z* field wich i created already with its matchcode).
    Does anyone have a piece of code wich can help ?

    You can select cells if pushbuttons are displayed on the left side of your list. The use of the ALV Grid Control then determines whether you can select one or several cells
    To select an individual cell, click the relevant entry.
    To select several cells, choose Shift, and choose the relevant cells

  • Editable ALV - Particular Lines Display and Edit Problem

    Hi,
    I have developed a program which updates the Custom tables in the database.
    I am using cl_gui_alv_grid in the module pool program. I am making all the fields editable using ls_fcat-edit = 'X'.
    But as per my requirement in the change mode of the same data base entry, the user should not be able to change the existing data (like PO line items).
    My requirement is for a particular Purchase Order if there are line items, when I open the Purchase Order in the change mode all the existing line items should be in display mode and I need to provide the user to add more lines.
    Say the PO has 3 line items, in the Grid, it should be like all the existing 3 line items should be in display mode and rest of the lines should be in editable mode which will give the option for the user to add more line items for the same PO.
    Here it is not Purchase Order,  I just compared as an example.
    Logic I am using.
    I am building the internal table with a serial numbers from 1-99 and this particular column will be in display mode in the ALV Grid. Using the class cl_gui_alv_grid.
    Capturing all the data entered using event handler with method handle_data_changed.
    Please tell me how do I set the particular lines in display mode and others in editable mode within the same internal table.

  • ALV editable Cells, fixed Columns, possible?

    I've got 2 issues:
    1) User should not be able to move Columns, how can I do this using CL_GUI_ALV_GRID?
    2) I know how to make a whole column editable in an ALV (CL_GUI_ALV_GRID), but how can I make only some cells editable?

  • Problem with 'Word edit cell.vi' , Inputs transduced with the value of every row repeated

    Hello,
    Im using LV2013 with office 2013 report tool kit. I am trying to use Word edit cell to input values in table previously created in template .doc.
    Indeed, i trying the example Generate report from template and didnt works well. I search for solution and I see it was a problem with previous version but it seems not solve totally in this version for word office 2010.

    There is a nested for loop that interprets the provided string array data and reformats it into a long ASCII string for the copy buffer. It should look like this:

    The changes I've made are twofold:
    1. Within the inner loop, replace the "\n" char with a Tab character
    2. Just after the inner loop, add a new "concatenate strings" function that adds "\n".

    "The display order of a PDF file operates differently than other display objects in an AIR application. Although PDF content clips correctly according to HTML display order, it will always sit on top of content in the AIR application's display order."
    I am concerned with the "PDF content clips correctly according to HTML display order" part. I would like to know what it exactly means. That is I want to be sure that I could put, for example, and image over the PDF doc, or any other HTML elements without them being graphically overridden by the PDF view. Thanks in advance.

    My reading of the quoted bits is: Inside the PDF, layer ordering rules should work correctly.  But the PDF itself will float above any other content in AIR.

  • How do I edit what information is displayed in the "Tasks Log"?

    We currently have a highly customized version of the Primavera Unifier Product v9.13.6.0.  We would like to edit what information is displayed in the "Title" field of the Tasks Log.  For some BPs the Title field is populated from the Record Number.  For other BPs this field is populated from one of the custom fields from the BP. 
    We have been looking through the documentation available, and through uDesigner, and the Company Admin mode but have yet to locate the section where we would be able to change what field (per BP) would populate the Title field of the "Tasks Log" in each Shell (Home Tab, Company Shell, Project-level shells).
    Any assistance or insight would be appreciated.

    It is not possible to configure what is displayed in the Task log. Since the Task log is used for all BPs, we are limited to displaying what is common across all BPs. Find does support the ability to search on other fields not shown in the log.

  • Unable to edit Cells in Hyperion Planning:

    Hi,
    Users are unable to edit cell values in particular webform.Even with Administartor access also unable to edit.
    After Selecting Particular combination in that form am unable to select another combinations.When i used serch option in the menu.The Planning system is loging out.Please help on these Issue.
