Editing alternate field-labels in Contacts? Missing Labels!

IN iOS 5.0.1, on iPhone 4S, I had a long list ( probably around 20-30) of unique alternate labels that I had created coming from my 3GS, and added to over the past two months of having my 4S. These labels have been available for the last two months whenever I added a new contact.
Yesterday, I tried to add a new contact and set the phone label to "iPhone" and the drop-down menu was missing the "iPhone" entry, and most, but not all, of the other labels that I used to be able to access were missing.
My Question: How and where can I access and edit the alternate labels list ( add/delete/rename, etc.)?

A nice idea, but I get stuck at the "Duplicate" part of the process. There doesn't seem to be anything I can do with this contact - other than change it into another contact. I can't actually use it as a template, as it won't duplicate or copy (to anywhere except the SIM card). Am I missing a trick?
I'm going to have a look and see what the PC suite is like for editing and uploading contacts.
I've already looked at Bluebook, but the N78 isn't supported yet (the N78 isn't supported for *anything* yet)!

What happened to custom labels in contacts???

Prior to loading 4.0.2, I could differentiate between the phone numbers for a given contact by selecting Custom Label and creating a label by name. In this way, multiple mobile phone numbers for a single contact - perhaps a family - could be distinguished by the name the phone number belongs to. With 4.0.2, the ability to create a custom label doesn't appear to be available. Is this functionality gone, or am I doing something wrong.

Mine is missing also, I went to the Apple store and no body could help me. all my friends still have the custom Label, but I don't.

Missing labels on pie charts

Hi All,
We are making use of pie charts and noticed that sometimes the labels are not being displayed in the charts for certain fields. Upon hovering over the field, the relevant % and data series value are displayed correctly, so there are definitely no issues with data here. Was wondering if anybody has encountered this.. Any thoughts on why this could be happening?

I think this is related to the size of the graph... If you make it a little bit bigger, you'll probably see the missing labels (at least that's what happened to me).

Start Position When Printing Labels from Contacts

I'm trying to print addresses to a half-used sheet of mailing labels using Contacts, but the app only lets me start with the Column 1, Row 1 position. Is there a way to start printing from some other position on the sheet?

You are welcome. What I used to do when faced with this problem was either move the labels to the top or reverse the way the labels were feed into the printer.

How do I customize mailing labels from Contacts OS 10.9

I would like to print an address label with a format like:

or

I'd also like to still use the Avery Label presets that are there. I'd just like to customize the content printed for each label.

From Contacts Help:
Choose File > Print.
Choose the print style from the Style pop-up menu, and then set related options.
If you don’t see the Style pop-up menu, click Show Details.
Mailing labels: Click Layout and choose a label type from the Page pop-up menu. To set page margins and gutter space between labels, and how many labels to print per page, choose Define Custom.
Click Label and choose the address to print from the Addresses pop-up menu (for example, print a label for each contact’s home address). Use other Label options to specify the print order, include a company for business mailings or a country for international mailings, or add a graphic.

I/O field (input field) xyz has no accessible label ?

I have a selection screen which has several radio buttons as the code below. I checked code by using code inspector and it issued error messages "I/O field (input field) xyz has no accessible label". How do I fix this? thanks

If an input field is located next to a selected radio button and its label, you must show this field as being ready for input.
o If an input field is located next to a non-selected radio button and its label, you must show this field as inactive. Chapter 3.4 discusses why this is necessary.
u2022 Do not place more than one element on the right of the label. If more than one element is placed after the label, then screen readers cannot read the following relationships correctly:
o Relationship between a checkbox and a label
o Relationship between a radio button and a label

Print sheet of same label from contacts

How can I print an entire sheet of the same address label from contacts? I am trying to print return address labels. I can only figure out how to print one per sheet. Anyone help?

An alternative is to use an address in the Contacts application and the print dialog there to print the selected address on Avery labels. The printer dialog will of a selectable Style category. Choose Mailing Labels. You will have Layout and Label tabs. The former will allow you to select the Page as Avery Standard and the stock number (e.g. 5161) from a list of choices.
This is simpler than using the same label template from Avery, creating/duplicating one address label, and printing.
There is no built-in mail merge in Pages v5.

Well, the web site building we can get out of the way rather easily: You cannot build websites with any Photoshop related applications. Adobe has other applications for that.
You can still buy the full version of Photoshop CS6 with a perpetual license—no monthly payments and you own it. $700 for the standard version, $1,000 for the extended version.
The Photographer's deal gives you a subscription to both Photoshop and Lightroom for $10 per month, but you never get to own the software. The moment you stop paying, the software ceases to work.
The Cloud thing is not really on-line. It resides on your computer. It only has to call the mother ship once a month or so.
Then there's the bargain-basement priced, emasculated Photoshop Elements, with some hand-holding features.
I'm a septuagenarian too, but then I've been using computers for decades, Photoshop seriously for over twelve years. Photoshop is a professional level application that makes no apologies for its very long and steep learning curve.
Depending on exactly how much editing you need to do to those products shots, you may be satisfied with Ps Elements mentioned above.
There are trial versions for all of the above.

Can't select or edit text fields in LiveCycle Designer

I can't seem to figure out what I'm doing wrong. I need to edit the header text in this PDF, so I tried to do that in Acrobat PRO, which said: "This form cannot be edited in Acrobat. Please use Adobe LiveCycle Designer to edit this form." I got a trial version of LiveCycle to see if I could edit it. But when I open the PDF in LiveCycle, I can only edit the input fields. All of the labels, all the text, headers is uneditable. I can't select it, I don't see it in the PDF Hierarchy either. Half of the Edit Menu is grayed out. Can't copy or anything else. Please help me figure out why this happens. If you need the original PDF, let me know, I can send it to you. Thank you.

In LiveCycle, I can't even select the text. The select box just goes right over it, and if it goes over buttons or input boxes, it does select them, but not the text or even the labels for the input forms.
In Acrobat, I can click on "Edit Text & Images", but it tells me I need to go to LiveCycle. I don't see a "Replace Text" on right-click. There's "Edit Text", but it just tells me to take it to LiveCycle.

Template "No Label" does display the label

I do not want a label for an item, so I set the label template to "No Label" but when the page is run the label is present. This is obviously an error. I also do not want a blank label occupying a table cell but the item to occupy the next available table cell. Example want to to prompt the user to enter a measurement and measurement unit e.g. Temperature and Temperature Unit
The first item is a Text Field item has Label "Temperature:" and template "Optional Label with Help"
The second item is a Select List which I want displayed to the right of the Temperature field item and the label "Temperature Unit" is not to be used and I want the item in the next available HTML table cell to the right of the Temperature item.
The "No Label" template does not appear to work as it does display the "Temperature Unit" label in the cell to the right of the Temperature field item. I know I can blank out the "Temperature Unit" label but then I have a blank cell between the temperature value and the temperature unit.

I agree... I think that the class t16NoLabel (in my case) is missing display:none or something like that.
In any case, the label will still occupy a table cell, even if not displayed. To do what you want I usually put the label above the fields, so each field is displayed next to each other.
Or you can set the property Begin On New Field = NO for the measurement unit field.

Unable to edit "Note:" field in Address Book

I have updated to Mac OS X 10.6.4 one week ago (from 10.5.).
Now for the first, I am trying to edit the "Note:" field of one of my contacts, but I am neither able to add text, nor can I delete text.
I have 47 lines of text in that Note field and wanted to add a few words, but after typing it, it keeps disappearing after a few seconds. If I delete a few lines of text, they keep reappearing after a few seconds.
Editing the Note field (which has less lines of text) in another contact first exhibited the same behavior, but now works flawlessly.
Having the "Edit" button depressed or not, does not make a difference.
Address Book Help says that this happens when there is not enough disk space, but I have over 41GB left.

I have experienced the same issues with my Address Book (version 5.0). First things first, let me suggest you complete a back up of your address book:
1. Go to the File drop down menu
2. Click on Export
3. Select *Address Book Archive* from the 2 choices
4. Choose where you would like to store this back up. Let's just say the Desktop for now.
5. Disclaimer, any unsaved data will be lost during this reset, so please back up all files you will need.
6. After you have successfully archived your Address Book, turn off your computer.
7. Now here's the important part, hold down the power button for at least 6 seconds or until you hear a loud sound or tone. This should reset your settings back to default.
This is how I just fixed the problem with editing the Notes of my contacts in my Address Book 5.0

We found Birthday field & even Marital Status in Customer Contact. However, Marriage Anniversary Date is missing.
Please suggest whether it is already avalible somewhere? If yes, how to get it (in XD01/XD02), or what is the alternative then.

I don't think SAP has provided marriage anniversary field , you can very well user REMARKS field to enter the details.
