Editing background colour of video

I'm thinking of buying Adobe pro to edit videos. If I film against a white background, can I make it ultra bright like on the Apple ads? I know how to do it using lighting but was wondering if there's a short cut. Anybody know? Cheers.

Yes, you can do this in Premiere Pro. You would still have to light it somewhat correctly to make the background brighter than the foreground, but within Premiere there are controls to make bright parts even brighter so you can make a semi-bright wall completely white. It would take some experimenting to get it just right, but you could do it with just Premiere.

  • RTF text with background colour - formatting lost in editable RTF export

    Hi
I have designed a report in CR2008 using XSD datasource.
I have a field which returns a RTF text. The text comes out correctly when I run the report.
    Scenario:
1.Background colour (eg Yellow) has been applied to the field
    2.RTF text contains paragraph breaks
    Result
The background appears for each paragraph and where there a para break, there is white space. In other words, I want the background colour to appear for the entire field. Right now, it appears odd because I have white spaces between each paragraph with the background colour for each paragraph
    Example:
Text is as below (with RTF coding)
In a bad mood? Don't worry   according to research, it's good for you.

In contrast to those annoying happy types, miserable people are better at decision making and less gullible, his experiments showed.
While cheerfulness fosters creativity, gloominess breeds attentiveness and careful thinking, Professor Joe Forgas told Australian Science Magazine.
My export type is Editable RTF. The background colour is maintained when you choose Word for Windows option or PDF (but this is not what I want to use in the report). Can the background be maintained for Editable RTF? Is there a work around for this problem?

  • PSE9, how to change background colour?

    Hi
I was shown how to change the background colour using....and this is where it all goes wrong!!
I have taken a photo on a hi key background but there are slight colour variations due to shadow. I was shown how you can change the background colour to a consistent white using tool that allowed you to choose black, grey and white point but at this moment in time maybe a bit of bbq alcohol and age are preventing me from remembering how to do this....any ideas, please?
    Cheers

    Enhance<Adjust Color<Remove Color Cast
Look at image and try to figure out what should be white, gray,or black. Click that area with the color cast dropper. Below is a video showing how to use the color cast tool.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Roinm3J3GjI&feature=player_embedded
I think from your post that it is safe to assume that you used levels. Basically, you first click on something you know is white with the white dropper; then click on something you know is black with the black dropper; finally find something that is gray and click on it with the gray dropper. Note: You may want to go through and set target colors for the levels droppers to customize how they react. See the written tutorial links at the end of this post.
Levels is covered at about 5:15 of video in video linked below. Note: It's a Photoshop video. It works the same way in Elements.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LLKc61tM5b4
The above video gives several methods. It is a Photoshop video but several of these methods can be used in Elements. Elements has a color cast tool that is not included in Photoshop so isn't covered in this. Disregard Match Color method and Curves method as Elements does not include  these commands. (This tutorial also mentions using the fade command. Elements does not include this command. You can reduce the opacity of a duplicate layer on which you apply the variations command and use the layer's opacity to "fade" the result. If you go that route.)
Several Photoshop Elements videos on the subject are here:

  • Background colour of Popup LOV

    Hi,
The disabled text-box of the popup LOVs in my application do not appear 'greyed' out when viewed in IE (they are fine in FF and GC). I am using Theme 13. Where can I change the background colour? I can't seem to find anywhere in either the template (preferred choice) or even the individual item's options to add the code for the style change.
    Thanks
    Lucy

Ok. This looks like a bug in the Theme Template.
Does not exactly look good, but better than before in that at least the text and links are visible !
    a. Edit the Popu LOV Template from Shared Components for the Slate Theme
    b. In Search Field - Before Field Text add the style as given below
<div class="t1PopupHead" style="background-color:#ffffff;">c. Add the above style to Ressult Set - Before Result Set as well
<div class="t1PopupBody" style="background-color:#ffffff;">Might be a known issue, will check it out.

  • Background Colour Incorrect when exporting to PDF from Crystal Reports 2008

    Hello All
When exporting to PDF from CR2008 the background colour of the crosstab is incorrectly displayed. The problem is as follows to create a crosstab with a grey header row and column details in white we have used the following trick.
Format Cross Tab Border Background is set to Silver.
Crosstab Expert Grand Total Background colour is set to white.
The result is a crosstab with header in grey and details in white.
This report displays correctly in CR2008, and exports as seen on screen to everything but PDF. When exporting to PDF the Crosstab is completely grey taking on only the Background colour of silver, and ignoring the Grand Total Background colour being set to white.
What is strange that when I print to PDF the format is also displayed exactly as required,
Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
    Some additional details.
    CR2008 version 12.3.1.683
    Adobe Reader version 9.3.3
    Windows XP Professional

If this is a big issue for you then please purchase a case and a Rep can duplicate and escalate to R&D.
As a work around export to Editable RTF and in Word 2007 you can get a PDF export plug-in and then export to PDF.
    Thank you

  • Polar plot scale labels and background colour

    Dear Labview Forum,
I am trying to create a polar plot.  However when I put the polar
plot indicator on my front panel and wire up some data and parameter

When you compare this to the polar plot demo, the background is white and the scale labels are present.
How can I control the polar plot background colour parameter?
How can I control the scale label colour and visibility?

    Hi Sachin,
I hope the columns are of iGrid. You can do it by writing iGrid methods.
For all rows, get the cell value using:
    document.iGrid.getGridObject().getCellValue(ROWNUMBER,COLNUMBER)
Write the logic of color and apply the color to specific column using
    document.iGrid.getGridObject().setCellBackgroundColor(ROWNUMBER,COLNUMBER,COLOR)
    Hope this solves your problem.

  • Getting the hex colour code of a Jpanel background colour

    Hello,
I have been attempting to retreive the hex colour code of a jPanel's background colour, so far I have the code
Integer.toHexString(jPanelgetBackground().getRGB()));However this is returning an 8 digit string (for example. if the jpanels background color is white, this will return ffffffff instead of a the six digit value ffffff that I want. If I try black 000000 my code returns ff000000.
I am trying to retreive the colour and then use it in a CSS file. However every time there is an extra ff added to the start of the string. Where am I going wrong?

  • Pse 10 change background colour in organizer

    Hi pse-experts,
as a user of pse 6 I 'm used to work with darkgrey background in the organizer.
This works perfectly for quickly assessing brightness and contrast of pictures.
In pse 10 however I could not find any button to change the preset lightgrey background colour to darkgrey.
Has anyone an idea in order to do this ?
    Thanks for your support, Frank

Right click in the middle of the edit window.
But you must right-click next to an open image or in the gray space in a floating window. I often choose a black background.

you could use 129: Horizontal Links List (101). You can specify the background colours in that template.....
    List Template Current
    <td><table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" height="100%" width="100%" style="background:#cc3300 ;">
    <tr>

    #TEXT#</td>
    <td align="right" width="8" nowrap="nowrap"> </td>

    List Template Noncurrent:
    <td><table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" height="100%" width="95%" border="0">

  • Ios7 control and notification center do not take the background colour,it's plan white and black.hi

    hi
when swiping down the notification and the control center,it doesn't take the background colour as shown in the ios 7 videos, instead it's plain white and black-i am using an iphone 4,anybody else with the same issue on their iphone 4 or higher?

Hi - I have an iPhone 4 as well.
The problem is that the iPhone 4 only gets a sample of what is shown in the ios 7 videos. The iPhone 5, 5s and 5c can run those graphics, however the iPhone 4 can not. To get a "demo" of what it looks like, go to Settings>General>Accessibility>Increase Contrast    and turn that toggle off. This will give your phone a slight transparency effect for notif and command center, however it is nowhere near what was shown in the vids.
Sorry for the inconvenience, hope this clarified everything,

  • How cna I change the text and background colours in iTunes?

Can anyone tell me how I can change the text and background colours in iTunes? I am a visually impared user and my main requirement on a PC is to change the colour schemem to white text on a black background. Most software adopts the settings of your colour scheme but iTunes goes it's own and has everything on white backgrounds. I cannot read from white backgrounds (dazzle - that sort of thing). I have never used iTunes for this reason. I have always been a devotee of by far the best media player out there Musicmatch Jukebox, who allow you to edit skins in every detail. However, recently Musicmatch was taken over and users were forced to migrate to the ridiculously poor Yahoo Music Jukebox. A massive downgrade in so many ways.
I want to use iTunes but will not be able to if I cannot sort this issue out. I downloaded 7.5 before discovering that if you want to use Multi Plugin for skins you need to go back to iTunes 7.02. I've done that, but the skins available are completely pointless to my eyes. They don't change the colours of the main components, just the graphical bit at the top.
What I need to do is change the background of the main browser windows so that they are black and the text is white (you know the track lists and tree views, etc). This must be a very simple case of just changing the codes somewhere, but I can't find where. I read somewhere that you need to hack into something call ResourceDB inside a file called iTunes.jar. There is no such file on my PC. Could that be a Mac thing?
Please help someone if you can. I would like to become an iTunes user. There seems to be more music available than on Napster which I currently use.
    Thanks in advance
    Z

In my opinion, it seems that Apple has decided to sacrifice usability so that iTunes would look more like a Mac application. You are probably already aware that using Windows' built-in high-contrast settings do not work in iTunes.
I did some hacking at the resource file a while back, but I was unable to figure out how to change the color of the background. IIRC there was a resource whose description indicated it would change the background color, but when I changed the resource, nothing happened.
I was, however, able to figure out how to make the "large" font much larger (any size you want, I suppose). Will that help? See
    http://home.comcast.net/~teridon73/ituneshacks/index.html
You should provide feedback to Apple:
    http://www.apple.com/feedback/
I don't think it is too harsh to call it "shameful" that Apple has chosen this design path. Where I work, we are required to make ALL applications (or any computer interface, such as a website) section 508 compliant. Of course, I'm being a bit of a hypocrite, because I've made no effort to make my website compliant. If you have trouble reading it, please let me know.

  • How to change background colour?

    Hi
I have an image with a statue and different background colours. I want to change the complete background colour around the statue in one colour for example white. I tried several times but it doesnt work. Do you have a suggestion?
    Thx
    Dom

    Hi Dom,
You've asked about a technique that many beginner Photoshop users want to learn. The challenge is that this technique requires learning a few tools and skills before you start. I would recommend the following:
    1. Learn about how to make selections. Here is an image with the blue background selected. Here's a  video about making basic selections.
    2. Learn about layers and masks and how they work. Below is the same image with the blue background hidden. This video teaches the basics about the Layers panel.
    3. Create a new background layer to replace the old one. Below is the image with a new solid white background on the layer below the original statue layer.
Once you've learned about selections and layers, try following the technique Russell Brown uses in the video below to create a simple selection of the current background and hide it by using a layer mask. Once the old background color is hidden by the layer mask, the layer beneath is revealed and it replaces the old background.
Good luck with your project! I hope this helps.
