Editing documents after they are signed

I would like for users to still be able to edit a document after it has been signed. I know that this is an uncommon request but I have a specific need for this functionality. It seems that protection is automatically added to documents when they are signed and then they are not editable.

File Settings:
Image Format: JPEG
Color Space: sRGB
Quality : 80-100
I have not checked the box for "output sharpening", although I did minor sharpening as part of my edit process in LR.
For Image Sizing, I have not changed anything. This is what is currently selected: "resize to fit" box is checked and "long edge" is selected, 500 pixels. Resolution 72 pixels per inch. The "don't enlarge" button is NOT checked.
I'm hoping this is where my issue resides!!

Style presets, swatches, etc. uneditable after they are created?

Why are style presets, swatches, etc. uneditable after you create them? A preset is simply a collection of style or colour settings so why can't I click on it, or choose "edit", or bring up the presets manager, to open the fx or colour dialogue to tweak it? Why do I have to manually create a new instance of the preset and delete the old one? Ideally I should be able to tweak a style and have every element that has that style applied to it change without having to manually reapply a new preset. Talk about tedious.
Please correct me if I am mistaken and am just missing something obvious. I would love to be wrong on this one. This is killing me.

The style preset is a known object. That specific object can be referenced by an action or script. If you could change the object, then the result of the action or script will be different on different systems, and at different times, depending on your whims in changing the style preset.
What you edit on the LAYER is not a preset - those are live values.
But the preset is fixed after creation, so you can reliably reuse those values.

An analogy: I have a specific set of font outlines that I like, and I saved it as Myriad Pro. Now I can use Myriad Pro, pass around documents that use Myriad Pro and keep those documents editable while knowing that everyone will see the same shapes I saved. If anyone could change Myriad Pro at any time, then I could never be sure that everyone was looking at the same shapes when using my font (which might no longer be my font). Also, if it's too easy to change (ie: all changes made after selecting it are saved), then people would constantly be changing it, probably without even realizing their mistake.

Covert file types After they are in library?

I imported a couple audiophile gradeCD's and went completely loss-less. File sizes are massive of course, so now I want to convert them to 256k apple loss-less files.
How do I do this After they are already in iTunes?
I checked every menu apple offers, I can't find any way to change the file type unless I delete the files and put them back on the hard drive using the file type I want.
I'm no mac pro yet, only switched solely to mac less than 2 months ago. Help?

Just change your Import setting to whatever format you want to convert them to and select the option to Convert selection to xxxx. This used to be available by right-clicking the track, but I believe it is now under the Advanced menu (within the main iTunes interface).
This will create a second file in the new format; you can then trash the huge file.

Yes and as long as you are signed into iCloud - you can even use that phone to iMessage
The messages stay on there until you wipe / erase / restore your old phone

In Pages the first page of all my documents show the pages user guide. How can I reinstate my documents. They are still on my iPhone

Help Please! All my numerous documents in Pages have recently altered, so that there are no contents other than the face page, which is the Pages User Guide page. Ie Showing the pen and ink bottle. I think this was brought about by me trying to see if I could print the Guide Pages!!! (To no avail)!

Once it searches for photos containing (insert name) and says "(insert name) maybe found in 1,750 photos". I click to confirm the said person and it highlights the photos already found in that persons "folder", which already contains 662 photos AND it does not show any of the unconfirmed photos. However, it told me that it found 1,750 photos....where are the missing unconfirmed pictures for me to tag? I have already rebuilt my thumbnails (which already took 3 days to do as I have MANY photos).

You are running Firefox 34, the most recent version is 35.0.1. If you are having trouble updating, please try downloading the most recent version from www.getfirefox.com and installing it over your existing version. It will save your information but update Firefox to the newest version.

Yes. To back up your photos, save them to your computer while they were in the camera roll, as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083. You will get an option to delete them from your device after they are imported.
If you have photo stream photos that you need to back up, save them from your my photo stream album to your camera roll. Then they can be imported too.

This seems to an ongoing issue (see related discussion link). We've been experiencing the same update lag since last Friday. The new additions to the Collection appear and are accessible in both the iPad and iPhone applications, but even though they additions appear in "Quick View", the material doesn't appear in the Collection itself. Apple is aware of the issue and is investigating. All the best...

Receiving emails HOURS after they are sent

I just spend an hour trying to find a way to contact Verizon online. Calling them is a nightmare. I am ready to find another carrier!!! My emails are not getting to me until HOURS after they are sent. I communicate with someone during the day via email and it is CRUCIAL that i get my emails in a timely fashion. I waited for a very important email from this person yesterday at 3:55pm. He did email me back at that time, but I didn't receive it until 9:20 pm!!! This is unacceptable! VERIZON...please help or you are going to lose this customer...and why oh why do you make it impossible to contact you!??!?!

You don't.
Apple has instituted auto updating , this is a feature for users to check what has updated recently.
The open button opens the app.
It will keep a rolling list, about 20-3O days back.

Missing Read Emails in Inbox after they are a few days old?

I recently hooked up my AOL IMAP email account to work with Apple Mail. I think i set it up properly as it seems to have been working fine sending & receiving for the past week. However I am now noticing now that the read emails left in my inbox to follow up on are in fact disappearing from the inbox & the entire email application after they are aprox. 2-3 days old. Is there a way to stop that from happening?

An AOL email account must be created as an IMAP type account with the Mail.app or with any other email client such as the Mail.app.
An IMAP type account's Inbox mailbox in Mail and with other email clients is synchronized with the server. There is no setting in Mail to automatically remove messages from the server for the Inbox mailbox for an IMAP type account.
This is done by AOL. You can check with AOL but I don't believe there is an available setting at the server to prevent this from occurring when accessing the account with an email client such as the Mail.app.
To avoid this, create and utilize a user created "On My Mac" location mailbox or mailboxes which are stored locally on the hard drive. When moving a received message from the Inbox mailbox for an IMAP type account to a user created "On My Mac" location mailbox, the transferred message is stored locally on the hard drive and is also removed from the server at the same time.
This will prevent losing any received messages before AOL automatically purges the account's Inbox mailbox at the server after a designated period of time.

TS3991 Why don't shared files on the icloud update on my devices after they are edited by others?

I have 4 different devices with 3 users. All users use the numbers app on iPads and the shared files don't for other users. For devices linked to the same Apple ID the updates appear immediately.
What can I do?
