Editing flash document

I am learning flash 8 by my self and I am stucked.
I bought flash template that come with psd and flash format
files. I can update only index file and can not get to the reste of
the pages. why the template come with the psd file (which I can
edit very well in photoshop but not in flash)
How do I get to the other pages when I open the document in
flash?

Probably a good question for the company that provides the
template for how it works and why the various files are provided.
As far as Flash is concerned, using external loaded JPEG, GIF
and PNG files from the Flash movie is fully supported in Flash 8
and JPEG for most versions back. Embedded images can be loaded from
a wider variety of formats including PSD but not necessarily the
current version.
So the question needs to be more focused as to what you need
to do with the psds. Load them dynamically at run time. If so they
need to be converted to jpeg or gif or png. In this case you want
to learn about the Flash MovieClip.loadMovie method.
Or are they embedded, then import to the Flash movie and
learn Flash to use them.
Finally the index file you are probably talking about is an
HTML file. To change the template you need the FLA file (Flash
Document File) and Flash IDE to make changes. A Flash template
usually implies you are getting the FLA file however it is possible
to deliver only the Swf (Flash Movie) and have you provide the
inputs from an external file like a XML file to feed it and
configure it.

No, PSE 6 and later never displays an icon for a sub-category. If you accidentally created a sub-category where a leaf keyword tag will do, change the sub-category to a keyword tag by right-clicking it, and then you'll be able to assign an icon. But if you change the keyword tag back to a sub-category, the icon will disappear.
None of that design seems very well thought out.

Cropping a flash document

I recently made a flash document with animations and some AS at 1600 pixels wide. It turns out that my web developer is having trouble using the file and would like it cut down to 1200 pixels wide. I can make the document 1200 wide, but then everything is off-center. Is there any way that I can crop it to 1200 my taking 200 pixels off of each side instead of just 400 off of one side? If not is there an easier way to just select every layer and tween at one and move them over? I keep trying and it keeps adding keyframes and causing other problems.

You will need to use Edit Multiple Frames, turn it on for the entire length of the timeline, and select all frames. Then you can edit (center, move, etc) all of your content together in one adjustment.
I'd save a backup of your document before making this adjustment - you need to do it pretty carefully.

Excel service and OWA - getting ERROR while trying to open/edit Excel documents

We have configured SharePoint 2013 with Excel Service and OWA (Office Web Apps).
After configuring, we are able to view/edit Word or PowerPoint documents from the browser (as OWA is configured). But we are getting errors while trying to open/edit Excel documents.
We are not able to view/edit the excel workbook from the browser (through OWA).
To open the excel in the browser, decision has to be taken at the farm level on what to be used – Excel Service or OWA Server? Is it possible to do setting at site collection level?

That is Pages for iPad v2.0, which Pages '09 v4.3 can't read.
You need to either stick with the older version of Pages on the iPad or get Pages 5 for the Mac which is only available if you are running OSX 10.9 Mavericks.
Unfortunately that is not the end of your woes because Apple has made iCloud convert the files to Pages 5 now, and Pages 5 has over 90 features deleted on top of doing a shocking job of converting older Pages files.

Can't get simple Flash document to post to web site.

I have created a simple page in Flash CS4 for my class and for some reason when I go to publish the page online all I get is an empty page colored blue (background) but neither the title or any of the graphics or images on the page show up, it is kjust a blank blue page on the web browser. I really need an explanation for this so that I do not fail the project. Please help!!

Odonnells52 you will still need to install Adobe Acrobat Professional prior to being able to make edits to PDF or utilize Acrobat. By default the installation files have been saved to your download folder.
If you continue to face difficulties with the Adobe Download Assistant then please see Troubleshoot Adobe Download Assistant.
You can also download the installation files directly from Download Acrobat products | Standard, Pro | XI, X if you are unable to locate the downloaded installation files.

How do I link a button to another flash document?

Office Web App Server 2013: cannot edit word document with own WOPI Server

I tried to build our own WOPI Server to connect to Office Web App Server 2013 SP1. Viewing documents
in IE was possible quite easy to achieve. Now it comes to editing.
When I try to edit a document, I got a german message “Sie verfügen leider nicht über die Berechtigung zum Bearbeiten dieses Dokuments“.
This means something like „Sorry, you do not have any permission to modify this document”.
I enabled editing on the OWAS-Server while setup procedure
(Until now, I only have an InternalUrl but no ExternalUrl.)

Unable to edit the document in sharepoint2010

I am unable to edit the document in sharepoint2010 with IE-10 while editing i am getting the error like
"The form cannot be displayed in the browser because the use of session cookies has been disabled in the current browser settings.In order to load the form the session cookies must be allowed."
Please suggest me on this.

Based on your description, I need to verify the things below:
Which browser did you use? Did this issue occur with all the browsers?
Is the cookie disabled in the browser? If yes, please enable it.
Did you implement security fix in the web.config, such as <httpCookies requireSSL="true" httpOnlyCookies="true" />? If yes, please set it to false in web.config.
Did you configure Alternate Access Mapping for SharePoint with a URL containing a “_” character? If yes, please remove the “_” from the URL.

Multiple Forms in a Flash Document and Posting Using ASP

Hello everyone!
I have some what of a dilemma on my hands. I am creating
multiple forms in one document using Flash and need them to post
using ASP script. I have been researching this for the last six
days, and I have had NO luck. I have noticed that all the
information that I have found is for one form, not more than one.
What I have so far is the Flash document, with 4 forms. The
basic idea is that a user chooses from a drop down menu (the
combobox) a location, and depending on the location chosen, it
takes the user to another frame in the flash document. The forms
(all their own movie clip) contains a name field, a department
field, and either a manager name a userID field or an employee
number as well as the basic buttons for submitting the form or
resetting the form.
So far what I have working is the drop down menu (combobox)
taking me to the proper frame and it shows the appropriate form.
The reset button clearing the form (deleting any information that I
have imputed into the input fields), but I have absolutely NO idea
how to get the submit button to work (I did manage to get it to
send me a message if there was nothing in one of the input fields),
and NO idea how to get the information to the ASP file.
Where there are 4 forms do each of them have to have their
own ASP file attached to them, or can I use one?
If anyone knows a site that deals with multiple forms in one
SWF and posts using ASP that would be greatly appreciated, or if
you know some actionscript that could be helpful.

So far my reset button clears everything, and the submit
button is tracing the content in the form fields, but it's not even
grabbing the asp page.
Any suggestions? Even pages that have tutorials that are in
the form of a video.

Read-only Collaborator can edit Contract Document properties

We have a master agreement with a read-only collaborator. The security profile for this collaborator role is identical to the stock "Document Reviewer" profile, i.e. only View is set.
However this supposedly read-only collaborator is able to edit Contract Document properties. They click on the Contract Documents tab, then drill into a Contract Document, and then click on the Edit button. From there, they have the ability to change fields such as Name, Descrpition, Effective Date, etc. They cannot change or delete the actual file attachment itself.
Is this an issue with CLM, or is there some security setting we are missing somewhere? Please tell me this is not working as designed ..

According to your description, my understanding is that you don’t want the yollow bar notification to display when you open Access documents.
This issue seems to be about the client application. Please compare the followings with the things that you did:
1.Open the documents
2.Click File->Options->Trust Center->Trust Center Settings
3.Click Protected View, unselect ‘Enable Protected View for originating from the Internet’
4.Click Message Bar, select ‘Never show information about blocked content’
5.Click Macro Settings, select ‘Disable all macros without notification’
In addition, as this issue is about Office, I commend you create a new thread in Office forum, more experts will assist you with this issue.

A "security issue" for property list in library of flash document

Please take a look at this screen-shot I have taken from the library in a flash document.

As you see the modified dates for all these components are 28 April-2014 and for last component it is 29 April-2014.
What is strange is that the flash document itself is claimed to be created in a local exam: date on 30.April 2014 !!
How is it possible the components in the library are modified two days before the document itself is created?
Dose it mean that the student has had access to these components two days before the actual exam date????
*** All other students flash documents look normal and all dates for anything they have created i
their flash document library are actual exam date: i.e. 30.April 2014 between 08.00 - 14:00.
Please help to clarify this issue?

They use school laptops, and I will later check the date/time on this person's computer, but something which contradicts the "wrong date" case is that I have received three more files(one open office writer text file) from the same student, all created and modified on 30. April 2014, which was the actual exam date.
So until know it seems that this student has had access to the exam file and prepared the main fla file 2 days prior to the exam date.
This is quite possible because we use previously given samples in local exams, (digitally available for "some nerds").
But technical question is:
Do the dates listed in flash-library for created components actual dates which match users computer dates/times?
