EDITING IN MATRIX

big question..i had a chance to play with logic express in a apple store..but i bought 7.2 pro logic instead....one thing i did notice was that editing in express for quantizin notes values was a larger display then on pro logic 7.2..also there seems to be a difference when u quantize a note in express and in pro..something i am tryin to get use to now.....has anyone tried quantizing their notes and not seein the note vlaue change?

you can make the display as big as u like by hold dragging the bottom right of the window,
do you have choose a setting for quantize or is it set to off?

  • I want to do editable a matrix column

Hi all! I want to write a value in a not editable column of a matrix, so first i try to do editable the column, and then write the value,so i do this:
    Matrix.Columns.Item("34").Editable = True
    But i get this error:
Item - the item is not a user defined item
I'm working with the withholding tax table(column account). What can i do?

    Hi Miguel,
There is one solution (not so nice) for your problem, we had the same problem.
    1. set the column editable through the gui en restart SBO
    In your addon
    1. at form load set the column to editable false
    2. just before the change, set the column to editable true
    3. change the column
    4. set the column to editable false.
    done

  • Midi sound cracks and stops while editing in matrix

When I use the matrix editor occasionally I get a horrible clicking sound when adding a note, moving a note around or resizing a note using the editor.
The clicking sound is then followed by silence. The only way I can get my sound back is by restarting my Mackie Onyx Satellite interface. This happens every 5-8 clicks of editing in the matrix. Help appreciated.
    Thanks

  • Problem in Matrix control

    Hi,
When i develope a add on form i used  the matrix control to capture more data. <b>I can't edit the matrix contol in run mode.</b> How to add the new record thru Matrix. If not what is the alternate way. My requirement is to Enter the purchase Requestion. For that i need to capture the data in header level for some fields and Item details,Required quantity and Required date in Row level. For that i used Matrix. Is it correct?

    Hi
You have to get a handle to your matrix.
    oMatrix = SBO_Application.Forms.Item(FormUID).Items.Item(MatId).Specific
    Then add a row.
    oMatrix.addrow()
You will be able to type now in the cells.
But as soon as you exit the cell it will lose the contents. You must either add datasources or you must link this to tables that are part of a UDO to avoid retain the data in the cells.
    Hope this helps

  • Matrix colors preference dark background does not stick?

    hi guys,
am I the only one out there having trouble setting my matrix colors background preference to "Dark"? Every time I relaunch it reverts back to Bright.
To replicate this, double-click on a region to enter matrix edit, then from the View dropdown select Matrix colors. So that's
Matrix Edit > View > Matrix Colors
I select Dark. It reverts back to Bright on next launch.
    puzzled
macbook pro intel   Mac OS X (10.4.9)   c2d, 1g ram

trying this on my autoload.lso template:
i create a blank sequence region, then open that in matix edit, set the background colors preference to dark
if i save this file with the region open in a window, the setting sticks
if i delete the region and save the file, next time i restart logic, setting reverts.
    puzzled here..
edit: i resorted to leaving a matrix editor open, placing it behind my main arrangement window on screenset 1, and saving the file. it opens both windows when i relaunch logic but the setting sticks this way. a workaround more than a resolution but still works.

  • Difference between editions

    hi all,
what are the main difference between enterprise edition, personal edition and standard editions
    of the database.

In Standard edition/personal edition some options are disabled like dataguard, online rebuild indexex/online redifination, only basic replication with MVEIWS, & so on..

    Welcome here,
not very wise to start the first question but not mark the "thread as a question"
    anyway - i'll help
when the matrix is empty add a row:

  • Adding a row to matrix.....

    hi all,
    i am unable t o add a new row to a matrix.
i have made a form by using screen painter with different items (for ex. buttons, edit text, matrix etc..)
when  i load a form, i got matrix with non editable fields...
    thanxs in advance.
    nirdesh

You have to call "oMatrix.AddRow()" to add a row and then be able to input data into the matrix.
    Example :
            Dim oMatrix As SAPbouiCOM.Matrix
            oMatrix = CType(SBOApp.Forms.Item(MyFormUID).Items.Item("MyMatrixUID").Specific, SAPbouiCOM.Matrix)
            oMatrix.AddRow()
nb: you have ton bind all the columns to userdatasources or dbdatasources.
Choose dbdatasources if your matrix has to be linked to 1 table. Choose userdatasources else.

  • 2012 to 2014 Upgrade Not Working

I downloaded the SQLEXPRADV_x64_ENU version of MS SQL Server (I am running the 2102 Version on a Windows 8.1 PC).  When i ran the upgrade wizard it all ran ok -except that MS SQL 204 Server isn't there -the machine is still running the 2012 version
and I can't uninstall the 2012 version either as it says that my computer is running an older version of Windows.
Any ideas on how I can actually install the 2014 version?

    Hi,
First please learn to post correct figures. From what you posted it seems you have SQL Server 2012 express installed and you want to upgrade it to SQL server 2014express. If it is correct then
    1. You need to have SQL server 2012 patched to SP1 before upgrading from 2012 express to 2014 express. Please read supported
    Version and edition upgrade matrix
    2. Upgrade advisor does not upgrades SQL server instances it just tell you possible error which could come during upgrade. To upgrade you need to right click on SQL Server 2014 express setup and and select run as administrator. A new window will pop up on
it select maintenance and then edition upgrade then its choose edition you want to upgrade and few next..next and then it would upgrade. More details in
    This Link.
PS: You need to first download SQL Server 2014 express edition.

  • Set system table UDF type

I have to modify the matrix that shows the Draft documents ( Purchasing -> Purchasing Reports -> Document Draft Reports) .
I have noticed that I can't just edit the matrix and I added a UDF in the ODRF table. However, I cannot set it's type to a checkbox.
Does anyone know how this can be done ?

    Hello Tibi,
UDT type in System matrix can not be changed. How ever, you can set the valid values for the UDF, then it will be showed as drowdown list. Hope it helps. Thanks.

  • What settings to use for best surround Music ZX + Logitech Z5500s

    Hey Guys,
I finally got around to setting up my speakers throughout the room, but I can't get them to sound a good as older gen SB cards. I am looking for a setting that will play the same sound out of all 5 speakers for music. Every mode I use either distorts the sound or it sounds like a tin can in the rear or has missing speakers. The best settings which are not optimal in my opinion is just stereo mode on my sound card. Then changing my speakers to make it stereo x2 which doesn't give me use of the front center speaker. Also probably doesn't give me the best sound for movies. I know some of the issue is due to the cards not having CMSS3D or stereo xpand like the old cards, and the surround modes that are in place now make the rear speakers sound really bad or the music fades in and out. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thank you,

for Winamp, download "Matrix Mixer" and setup its mixing matrix so to output L/R to rears and center channels as well, using desired volumes ("1" being 100%, "0.5" being 50% and so on).
for Foobar2000, download "Channel Mixer" and set its Upmix Mode to "Copy".
MPC-HC has built-in "Audio Switcher" filter where you could edit custom matrix / channel mapping, or better use AC3Filter and set its own matrix.
in general, ASIO plug-ins should also enable similar channel mapping functionality.
Youtube videos could be streamed to MPC-HC via "SVPTube" tool.
so yea, in order to properly enjoy our stereo music over 5.1 speakers systems with the Z, we must turn to free 3rd party software. as I've learned over the years, once Creative lay out a software package for their product, you can forget about functionality additions in its lifetime. expect bug fixes at the most, which are also pretty rare these days.
@ProDoctoR1987, while I pretty much enjoyed my X-Fi, it had its own downsides, e.g: regularly managing 3 different modes was a pain in itself. there aren't perfect solutions, we pick our own poison.
Yeah that's true, but can you compare switching mode to having crappy sound most of the time or having to use 3rd party software and fittle around with that so you hopefully get descent sound out of a +200 euro sound card ?!
I think the best thing Creative can do is add CMSS 3D like it was with the X-fi series to their software package. Who want's great hardware only to have only good software if it works wich is even a luxury in some cases.

  • Enterprise Compensation Management - configuration in production

    Hello.
I'm new working with ECM and I have requirements to allow a compensation manager to edit the matrix guidelines values ( e.g. from a transaction). This is supposed to happen in production instead of someone editing it in dev and then moving to the quality and production.
Everything else I will do the configuraton in dev and move to production, but the percentages should be done by several managers to several different matrix.
I know this may not be the best approach but it's a requirement and I'm not sure the best way to deal with it.
What do you suggest I could do to edit these values on a production environment? Should I create my own tables and then read it directly from a BADI or is there a way to edit the customization and reuse standard SAP?
    Thanks for all your feedback.
    Regards,
    Pedro

    We have the same problem.
We are maintaining rating guideline matrix in a custom table and reading this custom table in guideline badi.
In otherwords, we are not using SAP config table to store rating guideline.
A tcode was assigned to maintain the table in production directly.

  • Better font display: Ask for tester

Here is my chinese opmitised fonts.conf file, and ANYBODY who is using another language is supposed to benefit from it, you can get better font display if it works, so I ask for more tester, all you neet to do is to replace your original fonts.conf file(under your /ete/fonts/) with this one, don't forget backup firstly.
I don't know how to enclose an attachment, so I post my fonts.conf 's content here, I am using freetype 2.1.8 and fontconfig 2.2.2, I compiled them by abs, and almost the same PKGBUILD as Judd, however I don't apply any patches.

I got brave and gave your font.conf a shot.  everything worked great but when building the fontconfig pkg I had to change the source line to...
    source=(http://freedesktop.org/~fontconfig/release/fontconfig-2.2.2.tar.gz)
other than that the freetype and font pkgbuild files worked and installed fine.
When I replaced my font.conf file with yours, after backing up mine ofcourse, and rebooted I didn't have any problems but the overall apearence was not as good as it was when using my original file. I switched back to my original and no harm done. I don't speak chinese but was curious. I'm just learning abs and building my own packages. I was impressed with your pkgbuild files working and then installing with no errors. The first ones I have ever used that worked.  but now when I run pacman -Su it wants to upgrade back to fontconfig-2.2.1-2 and freetype2-2.1.7-1. I should say downgrade. I guess I need to search for an answer to why it doesn't recognize the new pakages as being the latest.
