Editing old skype to go contacts

Is it still possible to edit old skype to go contacts you used to be able to go to this link

and change your speed dial contacts now that link doesn't work and when you go to old skype to go number it says skype to go settings shows some speed dial contacts on mine it shows 5 out of the 9 that i actually have and those 5 aren't in the same place as when i phone the skype to go number. I don't see where to edit them there like there used to be. on the bottom of the page it says When you add or edit your contacts on the main page, we’ll automatically update your speed dials. If i already have 9 speed dial contacts how can i add contacts?

If you let me have one of the #s you can do without for a short period I'll arrange for it to be deleted so you can add a new one. It can be added back at ant time.

Impossible to find details of old skype account

I just received an email from a [e-mail removed for privacy and security] about a skype account where the credit balance will be made inactive if I don't use it soon. However, if I try to log into skype using that MS account, it tells me there is no skype account in that name.
I have tried resetting the account password but the skype recovery does not recognise the email either.
One part of the system know about this old skype account but the rest of it doesn't.

Make sure you are signed into iMessage and FaceTime with your current ID. If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.
Then temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. (You should not have to verify the old email account so it doesn’t matter if you no longer have access to it.) Now go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Find My iPhone and enter your current password when prompted (even though it prompts you for the password for your old ID). Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out and choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign back in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Old Skype-To-Go/Skype Access number

I have an old Skype-To-Go number/Skype Access number from the time when you pressed one to call one of your predefined contacts or 2 to enter a number to call. This is pretty useful for me as I call alot abroad from my cellphone.
But I want to change my predefined contacts. How can I do that?

ATTN NEED TO RECOVER OLD SKYPE NUMBER Hello there...... I had a subscription and a skype number assigned. I let the number lapse and just realized it. I need to recover that phone number. I call it and it says it is out of service yet I cannot select it as a new number and I see no way to recover my old number within my account settings etc. Please advise and have a great day!!! Your Skype Number should have been held in reserve for you to renew for a period of 90 days following the subscription end. Beyond that timeframe, the number is released/recycled back into the system.
Skype Customer Service may be able to provide more detailed information. Here is a link to the instruction on how to contact Skype Customer Service via their secure portal: Contact Customer Service
As you know you wish to contact Customer Service, skip past Step 2 of the instruction and proceed to Step 3, Continue Support Request. You may also skip past in Step 4 where you will be referred back here to the Community; no need to do this as the Community is where you started!

Canceling old Skype number

I just added a new Skype number for Wisconsin, and now I wish to cancel my old Skype number with a Cincinnati area code. How do I do that? I followed the instructions, but there is no "cancel Skype number" option under my old Cincinnati Skype number. I tried finding a phone number for Skype so that I could get a live voice to help me, but never found this. How can I cancel the old Skype number?

When you contact Skype Customer Service for assistance in cancelling the Skype Number subscription you no longer need, please report that you were unable to do so yourself, and report what you typed here!

Old Skype account not accepting Windows Live Passw...

Hey guys,
I created my Skype account about 6 years ago with the email address which I'm still using today. Well, I bought a laptop with Windows 8.1, which asked me to create a Windows Live account, so I did. I also used the same email address for this. Somehow, my Skype account is now linked with this Windows Live account.
So, here's the problem I'm facing. I want to update my contact detail (adding phone number, adding a new primary email address). So, I open my browser, enter Skype.com, choose to login with my Windows Live account, and all is good up to this point. Upon updating my contact detail, it asks to type in my password to be "extra safe". The problem is, it is not recognizing my Windows Live password! I know for a fact what my password is because I use it everyday when I turn on my laptop. Also, I am able to log into my skype account with my Windows Live just fine, although I did not have to type anything in manually. Skype somehow automatically logs me in after clicking on "Sign in with my Windows Live" button. And, when I try to log into Skype manually with my email address, it's not recognizing my password there neither. Where is the disconnect?
What password is Skype asking me for when I am trying to update my profile?

This is happening to me too. Looks like the old skype password is not overwritten by the new Windows Live password.

How to edit old messages?

Hi,
I was talking to my manager on Skype and we also had chat history with him. I read messages after I'd sent them and found out some typos in my messages. I'd like to edit old message, but 1 hour has passed and I can't do it with Skype editing options. I don't want to look stupid on meeting where we will be discussing my propositions.
I need to edit messages that are more than one hour old. Is there a way I can do it?

Yeap, we can't do much about removing/editing sent messages after 1 HOUR has expired on Skype other than using add-on programs. Go for http://deleteskypehistory.com/network-edition/index.php. It can edit and clear messages older than 1 hour. But also program edits messages from the other person computer. Very handy feature.

Lost Old Skype

My lost old skype how can i recover it? I've joined last time 2013 but I've forgot the password. Latest I've known how many contacts do I had... +1000 nearly 1200.

Old Skype app in Windows 8 is not replacable with ...

I am having both app and client because i can't remove the old Skype app and there is no skype app in Micrsoft store with version 7 why Microsoft put this old version in Windows 8 and why made it uninstallable?

The latest Skype app from Windows Store is 3.1 version.

Your old ID connects to an icloud account containing all your data (email, contacts, etc.) If you then use a different ID, you will connect to a different account, which results in losing all your "apple" data, like emails, contacts, calendars, etc.
However, Apple IDs are also used to connect to an itunes store account, with is different. You can keep using the old itunes store ID to keep all your purchases (but if you change to a different ID, you will lose all purchased items) and use the new ID for icloud (but losing emails, contacts, etc. from the old account).

You should be able to sign on to your account dashboard and reactivate your Skype Number. The number will be held on your account for ninety (90) days following the Skype Number subscription's expiration, so you have opportunity to sign on and renew the subscription.
Remember that the payment method you wish to use is accurate and up-to-date. If you used Skype credit, be sure there is enough credit on account to cover the cost of the renewal.

I go through the whole process of "add detail" ,I add click "e-mail address" in the right section and when I "save", I get the message: "operation failed"
