Editing "service Activities" records on Mobile express CRM 2011

Hello,
I was wondering if there is a way that we can edit service Activity records on mobile express crm 2011. I was able to configure such that we can see the records but they are read only we cannot update or edit those records.
Please advice.

I added Notes to mobile express and I can add notes to service activity. So, that's exactly what we wanted but you cannot directly edit service activities from mobile express.

You can use a custom timer job in SharePoint 2013 to be scheduled to run. This job could interact with your CRM system to import the entities to a folder or List in SharePoint. Andrew has a link here:

i have been tryin to dl microsoft SQL server 2005 express edition service pack 3 (KB955706) for the past 2 months and always get the same prob. it always say error code:534- window has encounter an unkown error.
i got a feelin tat it is due to the update file bein corrupted as my lenovo laptop T400 crashed once. But i m not sure. any suggestion? pls dun tell me to look at microsoft web help. totally not much help....

For the External Web Services, since I have it set to fe-pool.domain.local right now, I figure this is as simple as flipping it to fe-pool.domain.com within Topology Builder | Enterprise Edition Front End Pools | Edit properties | Web services?
After which, I assume I will need to create a new host A record for fe-pool.domain.com, pointing to the Pub IP 1.2.3.4 I have set up to forward directly onto my FE Server of 18.20? I am a bit of confused as to how this external web service is contacted,
does the mobile app use lyncdiscover.domain.com to find this information? In other words, does the lyncdiscover allow the mobile app to get inside the topology, the topology reports to the mobile app that "Hey, fe-pool.domain.com is going to be your External
web service as defined in the topology" ? If its just that easy this should be a quick change.
As for your next question, on the F5 level I'm pretty certain it is just set to take any packets coming in from pub IP 1.2.3.4 : 80 or 8080, or 443, or 4443, to allow it to go to that FE server IP on any of those ports. I don't believe it is actually taking
a 443 packet, and converting it into a 4443 destination. Also note, I am forcing lyncdiscover to use port 80, instead of 443 because I am unable to get a new pub cert with the lyncdiscover SAN.
As for the domain user, it is simply just my single user and I am flipping the SIP domain in the control panel within the user properties. domain.com and domain.local are both configured SIP domains in my topology, however i have domain.com as the default.

Hi Nattawat,
There is a concept known as CDB(consolidated database).
Whenever you create/change something in CRM a BDOC gets generated. This BDOC gets stored in CDB in mobile sales scenario and then from CDB the data goes to the mobile clients.
Here you will have to enable the CDB. I guess we can do it from the SPRO configuration. Take inputs from functional guys here.
You will have to create the mobile clients as sites and then define Publication, subscription from Admin Console. The transaction is SMOEAC.

Tried to edit my post but I didn't see a way to edit.
Additional information: Diagnostics did not list any DNS servers, but the computer is connected to the internet and does not experience any connectivity problems other than with iTunes.

Creating service orders in R/3 from CRM

Hi Experts
I am working on an scenario in the Interaction Center WinClient where complaints can be registered concerning iobjects. For now, we have made the design using activities, where the objective is to simple register complaints. However we would like to have direct integration between the complaints filed as activities and service orders in R/3.
We have thought about two possible approaches to do this. One by creating a service order in CRM as a follow to the activity described above using the action profile, and the transferring the service order to R/3. However we feel this might be a little complicated due the fact that using services orders in CRM requires more configuration. The second approach consists on creating an Action Box of the Interaction Center WinClient that calls a PM transaction in R/3 where I can directly register the service order in the R/3 system.
Does anybody have any ideas on what would be the approach?
If somebody have any ideas on how to create a service order in R/3 from CRM would be very helpful and will be rewarded with points.

Service Category Error in Create Service Master Record - AC03

Hi,
I'm trying to create a new service master record. When I select service category "SERV service : purchasing" from the list I get the error "Missing Authorization : Create Service SERV"
Please help.

Please use transaction code SU53 to know the object name which is missing in to your profile.
Once u will get the access of this Object, u will be able to post the SES.
Please take help from BASIS team.

Number range for service master record

Hi..
i have an issue in number ranges for service master record.
when i create a service master record system is generating number ramdomly, its not in series..
where do i make the settings so that i will get service master number ranges in series...

Hi,
Follow the path:
SPRO ->Material Management -> External Service Management -> Service master -> Define Number Range
In menu ->Group-> maination->Aagian Group-> Insert
Now Enter
Number Range Group Text     01( example)
From Number      80000000
To Number     89999999
& save.

Creation of Service Master Record (Furniture and Fixture Maintenance)

Hi,
I want to create a Service Master for "Furniture and Fixture Maintenance".
What should I keep in mind while creating a Service Master Record.
Would like to know the about the following fields which seems to be useful:
Activity Number:
Base Unit of Measure:
Material Service Group:
Division:
Valuation Class
Service Type
Is there any other fields which I should keep in mind.

1. What is use of Service Category. Do we need to use the default or we need to configure as per our requirement.
2. while creating Service Order, we need to enter Single Short Text in Item & Multiple Short Texts in Item Details. What is the actual use of providing Multiple Short Texts in Item Details.
3. Can we use the Service Master in both in Item Short Text & Item Details Short Texts.

Is Windows Server 2003 R2 Entreprise Edition Service Pack 2 supported?

I tried to install ColdFusion 9 but wasn't able to finish.
My OS is - Windows Server 2003 R2 Entreprise Edition Service Pack 2

Here is what I read from the http://www.adobe.com/products/coldfusion/systemreqs/ page:
Microsoft® Windows® 2000 Professional with Service Pack 3;
Windows 2000 Server, Advanced Server, or Datacenter Server with Service Pack 3;
Windows Server® 2003 Web, Standard, or Enterprise Edition with Service Pack 1 and R2;
Windows Server 2008;
Windows XP Professional or Home Edition; or Windows Vista® with Service Pack 2
So, it seems the SP2 of the Microsoft Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition is not supported.
Is it true?
