Editing the HEADING, URGENT

Hi , Can any one tell me how to put a value in the heading of a
discoverer sheet. I want to put a value retrieved from a
business area. Lets say I want to put the department name in the
heading of the sheet. How can I do so ?

Edit the header and other static content of a wiki?

Hello.
Does anyone know how to edit the header of a wiki?
I'm no talking about the banner image, but the area above the banner (which contains the group name, and links for Wiki/Blog/Calendar as well as the search icon)?
I've customized a number of wiki themes (via the original wireframe), but I've been asked to add a logo to the header area. I've also been asked to change "Blog" to another name.
So, wondering — where are the files that I would edit for this?
Any advice would be appreciated!

You need to copy the XSL files from
/usr/share/wikid/lib/apple_templates
to
/Library/Application Support /Apple/WikiServer/Themes/custom theme
and then modify default.xsl in your theme folder.

How to edit the header text of colums in DataGrid

Hi
Iam not able to edit the headertext or column header names of the datagrid ..can somebody help me asap..how to do it...I want to edit the column header names (headertext) in the runtime ..similar to edit the data in the rows of datagrid by setting the editable property to true..

Even the DataGridColunm has property headerRenderer.I tried the following ..But its not working ..plzz help me out

How to edit the head in a webpage created in a template

I have created some webpages from a Dreamweaver template that I made and thought I'd add in all the content, then go back and add in the titles, metadata etc. However, the head section of all my webpages is greyed out, so that I cannot edit the content. I've added editable regions to the body and tried to create editable regions in the head section of the page, so that I could amend this section but it didn't seem to work. Does anyone know how I can edit this section? My concern is that I'm going to have to detach all pages from the template, which I didn't want to have to do. By the way, I'm using Dreamweaver CS5.
Any help would be much appreciated!

You need to open your Template.dwt tile and ensure that you have Editable Regions for doc title and <head> tags. Otherwise those elements are not editable from Child pages spawned from that Template.
So your Template must contain these important bits of code.

Humm, I made a page from a template but now I cannot modify the <head> section... I will need to add some HTML to the head section that will be different for at least this one specific page...

Be aware that you CANNOT use the DW UI to add an editable region to the head. A properly made DW template always contains two editable regions in the head of the template: "doctitle" and "head". If you do not have those, then as Nancy says, you will need to add them.
To add an editable region to the head of your template page, just copy this and paste it in to some legal place in the head of the page (like immediately above </head>).


Change the name as needed.

Lead Columns - editing the head data

Hi,
I have Cost center in the lead columns and I have to display both the Key and Name. On the layout only the column where key appears has the head data as Cost center the column where the name appreas has blank head data. I want to edit that to show head data as "Description". I tried editing but the changes cannot be saved.
Any suggestions?

I noticed this too and the only way I could get around it was to build my own user interface worksheet and have a macro move the data into it as I liked.

Sure, you can do this already in your browser. But it's not really a dynamically edit thing.
Here, let me demonstrate.
You could naviagate (or shortcut) to a new button, as you can see below.
Once clicked you will get a dialog to choose preset program, open your own, or exit.
As you can see above, if the user does not have Dreamweaver, it will be greyed out.
You could probably guess what the dreamweaver would look like, but the muse editor may look like this.
Maybe even some html tags in button form
Of course, it would have content in it, including the <html> structure, including <head> and <body>
Why add this? Well...
Since Adobe Muse doesn't support all the features of the internet, you can easily add it here yourself! Until they add a button of course.
Then the Muse Team won't be so rushed to get all these features out.
Really hope they add this.
Also, they could touchup and make it look nicer, I just did some quick photoshop.
Note: We kind of have this already, though we can only edit the header... sort of...
This could be already done by exporting the html, opening it in a text editor, editing the code, somehow adding it back to muse, and realizing that you forgot some code, repeat.
But that is too long of a process, this request is much easier.

Most Segregation of Duties (SOD) functionality has been moved to AACG. From my understanding AACG's job is to handle SOD across platforms (EBS, PeopleSoft, HFM, etc.), the visualization was probably moved to the AACG product and that's why it's no longer in the PCG product. Out of the box AACG can connect to EBS and Peoplesoft, you can build connectors for other platforms to manage SOD controls across these different systems. Because AACG is no longer an "EBS only" product, I believe the need to use AACG for all approvals/SOD functionality is required.
Think of AACG as your SOD workbench, where you can simulate SOD access, model controls, create controls, remediate incidents, etc. Between LogicalApps (5+ years old) and the new Oracle GRC products, there has been some migration of features to newer products.
Don't forget, If you feel you need a feature in a certain product (even if it has moved), you always have the ability to request it via My Oracle Support. I hope that has helped in understanding what direction the products have taken.

How do I remove an extra editable region in the head of a specific page?

I have a single-template website. My template has the standard two editable regions in the head ("title" and "head"). Somehow, one of my pages ended up with three editable regions in the head - two named "head" as well as title. My template won't update this page because the editable regions don't match. How do I remove this extra editable region from the head of the page? I can't modify it on the page itself, of course, and I can't remove it by modifying the template because it's not part of the template.

Your child page would not contain any editable regions if it wasn't attached to a Template. Perhaps you nested templates which is the wrong thing to do.
Go to Modify > Templates > Detach from Template.

I made some changes to my header, I did not like the results, so I changed them back and now I cannot edit the content of the page. It is all grayed out..

I was making some changes to my header file. I did not like the results of the changes, so I changed them back. When I did make the change back, I lost the ability to edit the page.

Unfortunately, a picture of the code is not useful.
The best way for us to help is if you put a copy of your problem page on a server and post a link for us.
(rename it to avoid disrupting your live site)

Each time I send an email Mail inserts a picture in the header. How do I edit what picture appears there? I found where I can change the picture for the account I use to log into the computer. However I have four email accounts.

Change the heading in portal - very urgent

I have a requirement to change the heading of a field in portal.
I have changed the text of a data element 'FCONT' from 'free places' to 'open places' which is required. but its not reflecting the portal. kindly let me know how to achieve this.
Requirement:
LSO Portal course catalog allows searching for course types. When one is chosen for display, if there are any scheduled courses, those will display with their start and end dates, location, language and number of available spots left in the classes.
The heading for the column that shows number of available places displays as Free Places in standard SAP.
Change this SAP text from Free Places to Open Places as shown below. Since this is coming from SAPs standard, the change should also be language dependent. Therefore related OTR (Online Text Repository) object should be corrected in the other available language if required.
Please help me.. points are sure for helpful answers.

Are you using Transaction iviews?
Otherwise changing the data element name will not have any impact in portal...
If you are not using transcation iview then you will have to go and edit in the iview seperately...

How can I edit the number of columns in a header in Pages?

I'm trying to set up headers in an APA style document and the middle field in the header is cutting off my copy. How can I make the header only two columns? Or is there a way to hide the middle one so it doesn't cut anything off?

As far as I know, the three header columns in Pages v5+ are not changeable. If you had Pages installed prior to version 5, it was moved into /Applications/iWork, and is your best bet for Pages productivity.

Urgent (sort-of) How do you edit the form of typefaces/fonts or create your own ??

Hey im very new to illustrator- but i really need to do this project. I am unable to learn the basics because of time.
This is what i want to do: (please help im clueless at the mo)
Basically i want to edit the forms of a san serif type ( or make my own (if it is easy)) .
I want to edit type because im making an animation where the font letters are morphing in to other letters.
ei - A into B into C ect .
i can draw this - the problem is that im gonna have to 100s if i want a smooth animation and i would of thought using illustrator would be alot quicker and i can use more frames.
how would i go about this ?

You may have a look at blends.
If you wish to have a number of steps from one shape to another (outlined Type or whatever), you may:
1) Place the start shape to the left and the end shape to the right (with the centres at the same Y value) with a suitable distance so yo can see what you are doing;
2) Object>Blend>Blend Options, set Spacing to Specified Steps with the number of inbetween shapes, set Orientation to Align to Page or Path as desired, if relevant;
3) Select both shapes form 1) and Object>Blend>Make.
You can now see all the intermnediate shapes. You can Undo and make changes, and you can Object>Blend>Expand if you wish to have all the steps as independent objects (you may Ungroup them).
You can also make a blend between three or more objects to start with, with the same distances and number of steps between the original shapes, and you can combine (the objects from) blends.

How to use a dynamic SQL data as the header ?

I'm using BO XI Rel 2. I have hard coded the report headers, but i do have a table wherein the header data is available. I like to fetch the HEADER information from the table, rather than hard coding. How to go about it?
Example: "Statement of Closing" is the header.
The above output can be retrieved by using the below query!
Select Form_desc from TBS_FORMS where form_id = 'tbs1a';
form_id is a common link between tables!! Since the actual report data has multiple value as output, just by plugging the query in the header, i'm getting #multivalue error!!!!
In oracle reports, i have something called place holder to achieve the above objective. In BO, how to go about it?

Sorry, that doesn't solve my problem. Please read the question more closely - I want my USERS to be able to do this without changing their configurations. My users are public school elementary teachers and parents. I can't ask them to toggle any settings - I'm looking for a way that my users can do this on their own.

How to change the header and footer in the Section Breaks Next Page using OpenXML?

I have a word document file in which I added a Section Break of Next Page, now I want to change the header and footer of that page.
Scenario of example, I have a doc file which has four pages with headers and footers and added fifth page in the section break next page, I want to change the header and footer of the fifth page only. This is achievable manually by deselecting the Link to Previous
button in the Word Application but I don't know how to change it using XML?
