Editing the thumb-line in the photopage

When you open a photo-page, you first get the thumbs. Then clicking on a thumb you continue to a page where uyou see the picture in larger size, and the other pictures as thumbs in a line over. Is it any way to edit this? I would like to be able to move the thumbline down , and maby make them smaler. Is this possible?
Can I move the different buttons around the page as well? ('next', 'previous', 'play slideshow' and 'back to album')
I also would like to move the links ('play slideshow', ' back to album', ',next' and 'previous'). Can I do that?
Can I remove the 'back to album'-button on the thumb-line-page (the page you get to when clicking on a thumb at the photopage, getting a bigger photo with a thumb-line over)?
It would be great if you could go directly to the so called thumb-line-page and skip the first thumbnail page. Is this possible?

How can I edit the Subject Line of an email I've received?

When the sender inserts vague or misleading text in the Subject Line (or leaves it blank), sometimes I'd like to edit it - makes organization and retrieval of information which might be in the email easier for me.
I've tried opening the email file with a text editor (TextWrangler) and editing the "Subject" line. That partially works: When the message is open for reading, my edited Subject appears near the top of the message.
However, when looking a list of emails in a Mailbox, Mail still displays the unedited Subject - which defeats my purpose.
What am I missing, here?

Hi Gary, I think Mail is using stored info, not sure which of these two hold that, but...
Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), it will try to repair your Disk Directory while the spinning radian is happening, so let it go, run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, then move these folder & file to the Desktop.
Move this Folder to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Caches/Mail/
Move this file to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/Envelope Index
Reboot.

Several of my pages are locking up and I don't know why. As I work through the code, I remembered that I altered some text in a SendEmail by directly altering the page rather than using the Server Behavior. Don't understand why that would matter but whatever...
Now as I ponder if that is causing the problem, I ran across this commented line in the code:
//remove this line if you want to edit the code by hand
But are they talking about the line just after that line of //remove or do they mean the actual comment line of
//remove this line if you want to edit the code by hand?

Trigger and $tNG look suspiciously like ADDT code to me. Ask the guys in the ADDT forum (http://forums.adobe.com/community/dreamweaver/addt). There are a couple of them in there who know the code intimately. I haven't touched ADDT for ages.

How can I edit the Subject Line of an ongoing thread of emails?

Is there a way to edit the Subject of an email? At times the topic of conversation changes throughout an ongoing thread of emails, and I'd like to manage that by editing the Subject before filing it into a folder.

The problem with the add-on solution is it stops working every time there is a new Thunderbird release. Editing the subject line is a fundamental feature than should be built-in. How can you possibly file incoming messages if you can't give them a meaningful subject.
It is your data. It effects no one else.

I'm not sure if this is intended or not, but a coworker of mine pointed this out to me. Are you supposed to be able to edit the subject line in an email that you receive from someone, BEFORE replying to it? For instance if you double click on an email to
view it in a separate window you can select the text in the subject field, edit it. and save it as the original.

In this example the subject line originally read "This is a test.". I've deleted "est." leaving what you see.
You can then save it so that it looks like the person who sent the message sent it to you with a completely different subject. (I can see where this could be used maliciously within the workplace or otherwise).

Arjan is actually right. You can always edit the SUBJECT of a message.
It is just not so obvious how you have to do it - although Arjan described it.
This is because you first have to ENABLE editing of a message (email).
1) open one mail you want to change by double-clicking it
2) press the button which looks like a hyphan with a triangle under it in the top row on the right which opens a pull-down menu to access 'Customize Quick Access Toolbar'
3) choose 'More commands
4) customize the toolbar in the middle by 'choose commandos from': go to 'All Commands'
5) choose 'Edit message'
6) press the 'Add button' so that it gets added to the Quick Access Toolbar of an opened email / message
7) confirm by pressing 'ok'
If you now press the new (green) Edit Message button in the email you opened you can go to the subject line and change it to you needs, afterwards press the save-button
-> the email gets saved with the new subject
Once you enabled editing of an email you can easily do it for every mail without to running again through the whole procedure.
Thanks Arjan for the hint - I was already searching since long for a solution of this 'problem'. I use it to rename titles of emails which had either no subject, a wrong or misleading title. This helps me to find them easier back.

Can I Edit The Signature Line In Mail From My Touch?

When I send an email using my Touch the message automatically includes the line "Sent from my iPod"
Is there a way to edit this signature line?

Goto Settings --> Mail, Contacts, Calendars, go down to Signature and tap on the text (i.e., "Sent from my...." You be able to alter that signature to anything you'd like.

How do I get the line above the tasks, which allows you to edit the cell contents, without double clicking the cell?

As title says.
Normally in Gantt Chart View, above the tasks there's a line which displays the contents of the cell you have selected, and allows you to edit the contents without having to double click the cell.
In my case, this line is not there, and it is slightly hindering my work.
So, does anyone know where I should go to re-enable this line?

There are several layers to this Q
A. There are no HD in DVD - DVD is as standard only SD-Video what ever tools used to produce it !
iDVD or DVD-Studio Pro or Roxio Toast™ - will only make SD-Video on DVD
B. DVD can be better or worse
• Using "Share to iDVD" is no good way - Better is Share to Media Browser and as Large (NOT HD as result will be worse)
• Using iMovie'08 or 09 or 11 - are not tools to chose if highes quality is of importance - iMovie up to HD6 or FinalCut any version is far better as they send over all lines to iDVD and not only every second one.
• Using Right encoder quality depending on movie and Manu duration is very important
• Use of high quality brand of DVD - is important - I use Verbatim DVD-R
• Type of DVD - DVD-R plays on more DVD-Players (even old ones)
• Burn speed - I set it down to x4 - resulting in less burn errors - plays on more players
• I secure a minimum of 25Gb free space on Start-Up Mac OS hard disk as iDVD and Mac OS needs this and it can not be taked from other hard disks - has to be here.
• What You feed iDVD does matter

To open & Edit the XLS file in edit mode after Extracting SAP data into it

Hello Experts,
I have a requirement to open and edit the xls file imidiately after downlaoding the SAP data into this XLS file. The XLS file is getting saved on presentation server (e.g. Destop/C: drive).
I have used function module "GUI_DOWNLOAD" OR "DOWNLAOD" to download the data from SAP table to XLS file. But now I need this XLS file to be get opned automatically after finishing the Download, so that user can make changes into XLS file and can save the changes into it. After saving I have to upload this modified Data into SAP table again.
For this I am really not aware how to get it done..but I believe you experts will definately help me out..waiting for your reply.

How can two people on different computers edit the same video

I am working on a large project and need more than one person editing. How can I allow 2 or more people edit the movie we are working on. I have two windows 7 working on a network in CS6

I'm sure large organisations benefit from larger discounts than I can find online, but at first glance it seems to me that Adobe Anywhere is going to need around $60K investment in hardware (windows 8 enterprise servers, Tesla K10 GPUs and media grid) before you even get a look at what Adobe will ask for in terms of Anywhere licenses, or how plugins etc will work (or not).
And that's a minimum entry level system, clearly the big guys are going to spend a LOT more than this.
Adobe Anywhere is (as I suspected when it was first announced) going to be out or reach for most people looking to share projects between a couple of remote editors, though I'm sure for some smaller companies it could easily pay for itself in reduced facilities costs over time.
I guess we'll just have to continue the way we are for now... though frankly the repeated "conforming" is beyond a joke. I still can't figure out why Premiere Pro seems to randomly decide it needs to reconform all the media so that I have multiple copies of the conformed files with incremental numbers after them and have to wait 2 hours for some multicam sequences to be even mildly editable because one of it's files is last in line to be done. So we end up transcoding everything to a 32bit float audio which totally undermines the concept of editing natively. < sigh > FCPX doens't need to do this, so why does Premiere Pro?

Editing the MBR

I was attempting to edit the MBR in order to install Windows 7 without the use of bootcamp because I already have 2 partitions and I didn't want to change that. I was using the fdisk command in terminal in order to add a partition that windows could use to install. In the process, it changed the Starting CHS to 0-0-2 rather than 1023-255-63 as it was prior. I cannot figure out how to change these without also changing the LBA and size of the disk. I'm not sure what to do because now my macbook won't boot. I'm stuck bumbling around in terminal using my recovery disk (not something I'm very comfortable with). I just need to change it back to the default as far as I can tell. Default would be something along the lines of

But it currently reads

Is there a way to Edit the subject of a form that is submitted to me via email?
Ex. I've created multiple forms in Dreamweaver. They are submitted to my email address without problem.
When I receive them, the default subject line in my email is "Form posted from Microsoft Internet Explorer"
I want each of my forms to have their own subject line.

In your form to mail script insert the following just above the actual function to send the mail -
$optional_subject = $_POST['form_subject'];
and $optional_subject in your mail function just before the body info of your email.
Insert an hidden field in your form with the id "form_subject" and the value you wish.

Iam building the fieldcatelog using Merge Funcion module.
After that I am chaning the properties of the field
catelog like below,
loop at I_FCAT assigning <FCAT>.
Case <FCAT>-Fieldname
When 'CHK'.
<FCAT>-Checkbox = 'X'.
<FCAT>-INPUT = 'X'.
I dont have edit option in fieldcatelog.
modify I_FCAT from <FCAT>.

In the Layout,
I_LAYOUT-box_fieldname = 'CHK'.
I_LAYOUT-box_tabname = 'ITAB'.
It is displaying the Checkbox field.but I couldnt edit the checkBox.
I can able to edit in REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY.
But I have to use REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY.How to edit the checkbox.

The below procedure explains you to create a checkbox cloumn in the grid and allows you to edit i hope this will helps u.
The ALV Grid Control displays the cells of a column as checkboxes if the column is marked as a checkbox column in the field catalog.
     Add another field to the output table in which you want to display checkboxes
OR
     Define an existing field as a checkbox.
Procedure
1.     Add a field to your output table:
Data: gt_fieldcat type lvc_t_fcat.
Types: begin of gs_outtab.
Types: checkbox type c. "field for checkbox
Include structure <ABAP Dictionary structure> .
Types: end of gs_outtab.
Data: gt_outtab type gs_outtab occurs 0 with header line.
2 * Add an entry for the checkbox to the field catalog
clear ls_fcat.
ls_fcat-fieldname = 'CHECKBOX'.
* Essential: declare field as checkbox and
* mark it as editable field:
ls_fcat-checkbox = 'X'.
ls_fcat-edit = 'X'.
* do not forget to provide texts for this extra field
ls_fcat-coltext = text-f01.
ls_fcat-tooltip = text-f02.
ls_fcat-seltext = text-f03.
append ls_fcat to gt_fieldcat.

My requirement is to edit the contents of the word document in the presentation server through report programming and save that document in the presentation server.
For eg if my word document contains many xml tags with spaces < EDI_DS40 >, i would like to remove the spaces and i want it to be lyk <EDI_DS40>.Then say if i wanted to make some modification (addition, deletion,replacing with some text) in the text in some nth line of the document how can dis be dione.
Is there any function module or bapi which serves this purpose.

Listbox items cannot be edited directly in the control: what you can do is to select a line an, transfer its content to a textbox control, edit text there and move text back to the listbox control. Available interactions with the listbox control are listed in the help.
An alternative to it is to use a tree customized to appear like a listbox: tree item labels can be edited directly in the control, at least those in the base column of the tree. You can look at the example \samples\userint\treelist.cws that shows how a tree can be customized this way. I haven't opened it, but this old example too should show the ability to edit tree cells.
