Editor loses my position in Organiser

I have all my photos in separate folders but I can see them all in time order using Media / All Media. If I scroll down and then edit an image, when I close Editor I find myself at the top of the Organiser list and I have to search down for where I was and the edited image. How can I make it return me to the Organiser list where I was?

Ha. I guess that could use some explanation. I've been unhappy with the random shuffle + the phone losing its position, as songs can end up playing several times. I'm not sure how this happens, but it does.
So I created a randomized playlist and imported it into iTunes. I then play sequentially through the list so that I don't get repeats along the way. Therefore the 'Random MP3s' playlist name and aggravation of it losing its place.
Thanks for the info on syncing being the other cause. I can at least jot down which song I'm on before doing a sync or off/on so I can figure out where I was (though that causes yet another aggravation trying to find the song in a long list). Sigh.

Scenario is like a Phone & Car is issued to a particular position like(Chief Engiineer) in the organisation.

You can make use of IT1010 for tha assignment of resources by creating subtypes for the same IT. Also crate entries in the table T778W for the subtype you have created.
If you are looking for any icon display then i'm nor sure but you can place in SAP Note.

Change of Position in Organisational structure

Hi all,
The position of an employee has changed in the organisational structure and the
new position is displayed. But the underlying workflows containing
SWX_GET_MANAGER function module, are not working properly and no agent is determined .
The above function module works properly for all other employee values.
Is there any other place where we have to determine the new position ?
Please treat it as urgent.

Audio book loses (forgets) position

i have been listening to audio books using the default music app, in itunes i set it as an audio book, to not include it in shuffle, that it is a compilation and to remember where i left off.
But if i don't go crazy closing apps after i use them (being very careful not to close music app) my iphone runs out of memory and completely forgets that it was even playing anything, it is very frustrating trying to refind my position all the time.

This gets anoying very very quickly. It seems the player remembers some random point in the book and always resets to it.

Mask lose original position in new window

I am trying to get a mask of a ROI Bounding Box. I am able to generate the ROIBoundingBox image as well as the mask window but the location of the ROIBoundingBox is always centralised in the mask window. Why is this so? I am using CVI.

Are you using the imaqROIToMask function? If so, are you supplying an imageModel (one of the parameters for the imaqROIToMask function)? If you use the source image in which the ROI was drawn as the imageModel, the source image is used as a template for the final destination image. This means that the resulting image automatically acquires the size of the image and location of the ROI as found in the original source image. However, if you do not supply an imageModel, the size of the image mask generated is limited to the bounding rectangle of the ROI and the offset of the image mask is set to reflect the real position of the ROI. Therefore, if you are not supplying an imageModel, this may explain why the ROI always appears centralized.

Editor loses updates

When my script reaches 2K to 4K and I update the script and save; the changes are not there. The editor just stops updating the script. Also I can not cut and paste using the Windows XP Media Internet Explorer 6 icons (after highlighting).
Any ideas? XE says my script max size is 500K.

Okay I can cut and paste with Cntl_C and Cntl_V, although the IE7 icons still do not work.
Is there a limit on the number of times a script can be saved? According to XE the limit for saved scripts is 500,000 bytes (for a single or any number of scripts), but I start having save issues at 2,000-4,000 bytes of script; the updates are lost and I am given back the old state of the script before updates when I edit, save then edit.

Web page refreshes but loses page position

When reading a web page in Firefox 13.01, the web page may automatically refresh. When it does so it returns to the top of the page, not to where I was reading. I find Chrome does return to where I was reading, but not Firefox. How can I set Firefox so it returns to the place where I was reading?

Elements 8 Organiser will not load Photoshop as External Editor

For some years I've succesfully used Photoshop CS2 with Elements (various versions) Organiser as my photo file manager. The Organiser allowed me to select Photoshop as the external editor and subsequently accepted/managed the edited photos from Photoshop when I closed the file there. (I prefer the facilities of Organiser to those of Bridge; and other folk in the household prefer Elements Editor).
I recently upgraded from Photoshop CS2 to CS5 64bit. Initially Elements 8 Organiser (which is 32bit) continued to call up Photoshop (CS5) as the external editor but has now ceased to do so. There is still an option in Organiser's dropdown EDIT list to "Edit in Photoshop" and any thumbnails selected in the Organiser get the "being edited" label applied if I select the "Edit with Photoshop" option. However, Photoshop does not open; or, if I have Photoshop open already, the photos selected in Organiser do not appear in the Photoshop workspace for editing.
I cannot, either, find the "close external edit" option in Organiser. When I eventually close Organiser, it warns that I will lose any editing done with the external editor to those photos it thinks it has handed to Photoshop, even though there has not been any handover in fact.
I can chose, in Organiser, to edit the very same photos with Elements Editor, even though Organiser appears to think that they are currently being edited by Photoshop. If I do edit such a photo in Elements Editor then close it, the Organiser becomes happy and forgets it thought Photoshop was involved at all.
Is there some switch in a config file somewhere that I can throw to get the Organiser to actually call up Photoshop and hand it the file(s)? Or is this just an Adobe glitch? Any help or clues would be much appreciated.

I have tried to persuade Elements Organiser to reconsider Photoshop as an external editor by going to the "Editing" section of Elements Preferences dialogues and specifying Photoshop.exe. On trying to exit the Preferences/Editing dialogue, Elements then pops up another dialogue box that tells me that "The path you chose for the external editing application is invalid. Please correct the path or choose another external editor". I need to uncheck the "Use a supplementary editing application" to stop this box re-popping.
The Elements EDIT drop down menu still shows Photoshop as an available editing application. However, as described in the original post, Photoshop does not load or pick up any file specified for Photoshop editing within Elements Organiser.
I've also tried resetting Elements Organiser Preferences to their default. This does not make any difference to the problem either. There is an Organiser glitch I think. I am begining to think it will need a Registry fix ..... but of what I have no real idea; and it isn't a good idea to mess with the Registry in a haphazard way.
Perhaps I should try a reload of Elements from scratch, after saving my Catalogue file somewhere safe?

Error when assigning business partners to positions in org. mgmt.

I've got the following problem. I want to assign business partners to a position in organisation management. When doing this, the following error occurs:
"Object cannot be assigned to object xxx in the period xx.xx.xxxx - xx.xx.xxxx"
(xxx is the position to which the business partner should be assigned)
The number of this error message is 5A368.
Diagnosis in the detailed description of this message:
"The object period of object '1st Level Support' is not within the relationship period 26.03.2007 - 31.12.9999."
I've changed the object period of the position "1st Level Support" to several other dates, but it did not solve the problem.
The described problem does not occur, when assigning an user to this position.
Can anybody help me with this problem? I'm using SolMan 4.0.

Thanks for your answer so far. Unfortunately it's not possible for me to upgrade to SP11. So I tried to solve the problem the way you described. I double-clicked the position on the left, the desired position is shown in the main screen and I try to assign the business partner to the position. But the same error appears.
Are there any other possible solutions?
What are the consequences of assigning users to a position instead of business partners?

Sorry but, i've never seen formula editor for altering position and size. If you know one please navigate me.
I guess you have updated formula editor beside "Lock size and position" - if yes its not right. There is only one editor beside 4 items and editor is actually for Suppress.
Anyways, A trick to change size a position is:
Create 4-5 copies (as many as you expect positions) of the text object. place each at different positions, right click, Format, Suppress and in formula editor for suppress write the formula: If your condition is true, Suppress=false, else true.
Position will not change but user will feel; for different conditions -position is changed

Graphics are moving from their intended position in browser view

I have a column of text with sub heads and a few lines of text below each subhead. I have places small graphics next to each subhead. I want the graphic to correspond with the subhead. When I view this in browser mode, the graphics scramble and lose their positions. Especially if you enlarge the view in your browser (Safari > command > plus) or reducing the view (command > minus). The graphics are skipping over and under text. Can I lock these into the respective positions?

PSE 8 Editor freezes in Windows 7

I used to have vista and my PSE8 worked just fine. I switched to Windows 7 because there werent any compatibility issues... or so I thought. PSE 8 downloads just fine and organizer opens just fine. Editor wont open... freezes and runs my computer very slow. It shows up in the task manager under processes but i dont see the program to use it.
I need serious help, please! I've been on the phone with adobe tech support for 2 months now saying they will call back in 3 days and never do. I've done all the "solutions" on the website with no luck.
Any ideas on how to fix the issue? I've noticed a lot of others having the same problem and I wonder what they have done to fix it or if they havnt fixed it what do they do in the mean time? Is there another product I can buy? Can adobe give me a free copy of a product that does work?

I would like to know whether organiser or editor crashes ?
If its organiser then there is something related to Catalog.
Try these steps :
1. Goto this location : C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Elements Organizer\Catalogs\ -- (program data is hidden folder by default , you will need to unhide it)
2. Under this location you will find all the catalogs that were created by you
3. Choose your default catalog.
4. In that select and delete all the folders except Breezedata and file with extension .pse8db
5. Relauch your organiser and then check if its stil crashing.

Tabs :
You can define as many tab positions as you require for each paragraph format. The text can be aligned in different ways:
u2022     Left-aligned with LEFT
u2022     Right-aligned with RIGHT
u2022     Centered with CENTER
u2022     At the sign with SIGN
u2022     At the comma or decimal point with DECIMAL
You can control the tab feed in a paragraph with tab positions. The tab stops you define in the paragraph format replace the tab spacing you defined in the header data of the form.
The tab stops are represented as, , in the text editor.
