I cannot get Editor to start on my home machine running windows 8 Organizer works Editor does not did the whole delete reinstall and reboot thing. It dows work on my work machine running windows 7 a much lower end machine

Please right click on Organizer and try to run as admin. If still the same issue then try running Organizer in hidden admin account and let us know whether its working there.

I deleted two of them. I updated the remaining driver, now I can sync my i5, i4 and i3. You may have to View hidden devices. Open device manager view-show hidden devices portable devices apple iphone "highlight" right click, update device if you have multiple apple iphone under portable devices, delete all but one.

I receive Adobe updates on a regular basis without any problems. The other day, my Adobe Photoshop Elements 7.0 (Editor) function has suddenly stopped working. Windows cannot seem to solve the problem. I can open all the other function buttons without any problems just not the most important one which is the Editor Function. Has anyone experienced this situation and knows what to do?

After upgrading PSE 11 to PSE 12 Editor don't start Organizer do

After downloading and installing PSE 12 (several times) Organizer start, but Editor don't start.
While installing there are no visable error messages.

The issue is still there.
I am using Elements 11 until Elements 12 works. (I have to do my job)
I have several times uninstall Elements 12 (incl preferences) and reinstall the programma. (8-9 times)
During downloading and installing I closed the virusscanner and the firewall. No Error messages
Elements 11 is an upgrade of Elements 9 and working OK.
The following logfiles ended with EXIT code: 0-No Error

Premiere Elements 11 editor won't start

I've used this program on three previous projects on my HP with a Icore5 processor and have had no problems. Recently I have started a new wedding project and was having some problems with the media loading very slowly. I finally got tired of waiting on it to load and restarted the machine. After that the video editor will not start. I ran "malwarebytes" to get rid of the malware and spyware after I experienced the problem. I have tried to load it from the organizer too and have had no luck. when I click on the editor, the purple and black "loading" bar act as if the program is loading ,but eventually will just stop. Also if you suggest that I reload the software ,is there a way to retrieve the project that I started or do I have to start over. Please give me some suggestions as I am becoming very frustrated with this and at wits end!!! The organizer opens just fine. Thanks in advance for any help!!

You are going to go to Computer and then follow the path...
Local Disk C Folder
Program Data Folder
Adobe Folder
and in the Adobe Folder is the SLstore folder that you delete or disable
(if you disable, then just change the file name from SLstore to SLstoreOLD...to rename, right click the folder, and rename in the field provided).
See Path in Header .....Computer Local Disk (C:) ProgramData Adobe.....
The line up on the right side of the screenshot represents what is in the Adobe Folder in the path. All you want is the SLstore Folder in that Adobe Folder. Right click it there for the renaming for disabling.

Click computer's Start button
In Search field above Start Button, type in Folder Options
At the top of that left column that you are in, click on Folder Options that will appear there at the top of the column
In the Folder Options dialog, click on View Tab
Under View Tab, find the Show Hidden Files, Folders, and Drives option and dot it.

My iMac won't start up and running so slow

Hello,
Since I upgraded my iMac to OS X Yosemite its been running so slow.
Yesterday out of the blue it won't shut down it froze so I forced the shut down by holding the power button.
Today it won't start! It goes till the apple logo with the download bar then it shuts down. Tried to unplug everything, reinstall but it won't work. It said the Mac HD driver is locked as well as the recovery one. I'm trying to repair the disk now its been going for ever.
Any help...

Won't start after trying tomactivate windows 7

Hi my friend just tried to set up my mac book to run windows as well os x. Well, when I tried to activate windows 7 it told me to restart but when I did it made the start up sound and showed a blank white pagebutwent to a black screen and repeated.help!

This is djburrus, the questioner. I have discovered the problem here. This version of Firefox is not compatible with Windows 7 User Account Control, and therefore will not be allowed to start by Windows. Right click on Desktop shortcut choose "troubleshoot compatibility" choose "use recommended settings" Firefox will now start but with a User Account Control warning.

Ethernet won't start unless I run systemctl restart dhcpcd.service

My ethernet connection won't start unless I do

IMac won't start up: No login window appears.

Hello, there, everyone. The problem I'm addressing here is that my iMac is simply refusing to start up. Two days ago I turned it off (because of irrelevant problems), and since then it just won't boot up completely. Whenever I turn it on, it loads past the blue and white loading screens and the grey Apple logo, but once it loads the default Apple wallpaper it won't go any farther. No login window appears, preventing use. I've tried various alternative ways of booting it up, but nothing seems to work. I've tried safe-booting it (Which really doesn't change anything), initiating the Apple Hardware Test (Which freezes once I choose a language), unpluggung the computer both when it is on and off and retrying the start-up sequence, but still no progress has been made.
My iMac is about four years old, which isn't exactly a short life for a computer, but it still surprises me to encounter such a major problem. If anyone would happen to have any experience with this situation, I would be very greatful for any help at all. Thank you in advance.

Three beeps usually indicates failed or no ram. Try removing and reseating all of the ram. If that doesn't help and you have access to another mac can you start the imac in Target Disk Mode? OS X Mountain Lion: Transfer files between two computers using target disk mode
You'll probably need to take it in for service, but hopefully you aren't about to learn the hard way about backing up.

Firefox won't start on computer with Windows x64 installed

I have been having trouble with Firefox starting on my 64-bit Windows 7 computer for months now. It opens the process, but the browser window doesn't appear. Sometimes I have to close the process and restart it multiple times before the browser window opens. The browser process does in fact close when I exit the program, so this isn't the issue.
I have tried everything on the following webpage, as well as other suggestions posted on the Internet to no avail.

In addition, I have had the exact same profile installed on two separate computers running 32-bit Windows XP and they have never experienced this problem.
I'm really frustrated by this, because I absolutely love Firefox in every other regard. I must, given I'm still using the browser, despite dealing with this nuisance for so many months.

it does not work even in windows safe mode with networking. same issue. if i wait for some time firefox comes but in not responding mode. then a pop shows up with - script: chrome//browser/content/tabbrowser.xml 2123 .

Why dbconsole won't start with emctl in Windows 7

I'm connected with a windows user that reside in ora_dba and administrator groups
I execute all commands with "run as administrator"
'administrator' is also in ora_dba group
after installing oracle software I executed dbca to create a new database, but after the creation dbconsole won't run!
emctl start dbconsole gives me An instance of Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g Database Control is already runningand the service 'oracleDbConsoleorcl' is not started, when I start it mannually it gives me windows could not start the service in local computer
so now I know that this errors is caused by a running process, it's the 'java.exe : 5520', I kill it and try to start dbconsole again:
emctl start dbconsole it gives meThe OracleDBConsoleorcl service could not be started
A service specific error occurred: 2.

can you check the same after setting ORACLE_HOME and LD_LIBRARY_PATH=%ORACLE_HOME%/lib.

Won't start on OSX or Windows

I was using my Mac on windows, and the screen froze. I had to restart manually, but it would only work in safe mode. I also tried starting it on the OSX partition, but it got stuck at a gray screen.I tried using startup repair on Windows, but nothing changed. What is causing this problem, and how can I fix it?

Hmm, I was thinking hardware issue for a moment (video card), but it starts fine into Safe Mode. So that's not it.
Put the OS X installation disk in the iMac and restart. Hold down the C key to boot to the DVD. As soon as you can access the menu bar, launch Disk Utility and do a Repair Disk to the main OS X partition. Also run the option to set the startup disk and choose the OS X drive.
Restart again normally to see if you can get to the OS X desktop.

I tried again, and it started up normally. It worked for about a minute, but the screen froze. A few seconds later, half of my screen was flashing white, black, and gray.
Uh, oh. Could still be hardware. Also may be why Windows froze in the first place. Try the above though and see what happens.

After cleaning my pc and reinstalled Pse12 and Pre 12 cann't start both editors (Organizer no problem). Keep asking voor registration with adobe id but error window: "cann't make connection with internet"try again.Updaten with internet no problem.

Please navigate to the below path
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
and rename the hosts file to hosts.old
Then check whether you still get the error message of
not connected to the internet.

Firefox won't start, but is running in Task Manager

I was running 3.x for a long time with no troubles.
Last week it crashed, and since then I have been unable to start Firefox although it is showing as running in the Task Manager when I attempt to start it.
So it opens no window, but appears to be running.
Same for Safe Mode.
Same for Profile Manager.
Can't use switch to from task manager.
I uninstalled 3.x and deleted all mention of Firefox or Mozilla from the registry.
I installed 4, and still have the exact same problems.
Running XP with a load of business apps, but nothing installed recently.

There may be a corrupted file on Firefox.<br>
Please attempt to perform a clean reinstall. <sup>[https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/forum-response-clean-reinstall (More Details)]</sup> This is different than a regular uninstall.
If a clean reinstall does not fix the issue, please try starting your operating system in safe mode.<br>
To do so, please do the following:
#Ensure that your computer is shut down completely
#Press the power button
#Tap the <code>F8</code> key repeatedly before the Windows logo and startup screen is displayed
#Select Safe Mode With Networking for the advanced startup options list
Please report back with the results of both solutions.

Satellite C series - Touchpad has stopped working running Windows 8

I dont know if anyone can help.
My touchpad has stopped working.
At first it would only work on the login page. Now its not there at all.
I have only had my Toshiba C for a few days and its the first time I have used Windows 8.
I have tried F5 and I have tried going onto BIOS using F2 when booting but that wont come up.
