EDL export error message

I've run into this issue before and inquired, but received no real answer, so I'm asking again to see if anyone out there might be able to help me out. When exporting an EDL, I often run into the following error message:
"Unable to export the key track due to an error. Click OK to export other tracks."
When I go back through and double check the numbers, they seem to be correct. The only 'unusual' thing is that it often creates a second EDL, referred to as +(filename) B+.
Has anyone seen this or run into this issue? I would like to figure it out to make sure it's not missing something, or that I'm not doing something right. Any help is appreciated!

Thanks for the response, Michael. The information you provided explains a lot.
Here's what I'm doing: I'm archiving projects, usually :15, :30 or :60 in duration. I am exporting an EDL, Batch List and using the Media Mgr. to skin it down to the bare necessities. I get all the information possibly needed in the event that the spot is needed down the road to be used on a different system or simply as backup in case of missing pieces and parts. The timeline does contain audio and graphic files, which you explained will cause errors. My guess is that I'm getting this error message for the reasons you explained.

I'm getting the same error when I try to export a video.
Below I've tried to follow the above provided list of info required for the forum.
I'm using the most current version of Premiere Pro from CC.
I installed all the updates last night before trying to export.
I'm running an updated version of Win8.
The source footage is mostly shot from my 550D/T2i(.mov), and then there are small overlays of an mp4 video I ripped from Youtube. I'm trying to export the video as MPEG2, at 1080i settings. Is this enough info?

When the problem occurs Ijust hit"Okay", which takes me back to the export screen. I hit "export" again, and then it appears to be exporting, but the progress bar stays on 0%.no it hasn't worked before.
Other software? As in simultaneously? Just Chrome browser. Or in conjunction with Premiere Pro; then nothing. It's a standard export from PP without any plugins or standalones contributing to the export.
As stated above, no I have no third party stuff running.

GPU: ATI 5700 1GB
No, I'm not using Mercury Playback engine.
Only with final ouput. My previews are fine.

Export error message and render error message

Hi all,
I just finished a16 min. movie, lots of hours containing two slides shows and a bunch of short video clips, lots of effects, transitions with jpgs, pip's, animated gifs and you name it. It came out great! ON THE COMPUTER THAT IS!... I am running pe7 on a brand new hp elite 410y desktop - AMD Phenom II x6 six-core processor 1045T, 8 GB PC3-10600 DDR3 SDRAM, 3MB L2 cache + 6MB shared L3 cache memory, 1TB seriel ATA hard drive and ATI Radeon HD 5570 graphics with 1GB DDR3 dedicated memory. My operating system is windows 7 home premium edition 64 bit. I used jpg's from three different camera's, downloaded google images, as well as the animated gifs. I took some video from my Nikon coolpix L110 and converted all mov files to avi using the free Prism converter...I didn't think to just use premiere to export to DV AVI. I also took youtube video and converted them to avi. I kept getting adobe system memory low, proceed with caution, did a bunch of saves and got throught it. I tried to render and the error unknown compiling movie message kept coming up. Well, at that point I just broke down, so many hours and then having to show the actual finished product to my friends, the stars of this movie on my little 20" computer monitor and not my big screen tv sucked...so dissapointing but moving on.
I started to search the forums and read another thread that Steve Grisetti answered about changing all photos to no more than 1000x750 and then try to split up the movie and export in premiere to DV AVI. I only had a few photos like that, changed them and I still keep getting the same error message. I tried just taking the first minute, did a save as, named it test and tried to export, no luck. There seems to be something in the first part that premiere does not like and I did notice on playback that some of my effects were not working i.e. video pip sliding in from the left of the screen over a jpg. I am so frustrated.
I finally chopped it up to three parts and tried exporting the 2nd part of just the video clips to DV AVI, no problem but changed my look. When I hit export movie and look at the settings summary Filetype is CompilerMPEGproxy, the Video settings are Compressor: I-Frame only MPEG Frame size 1440h 1080v (1.333) Frame Rate: 29.97 frames/second Pixel Aspect Ration: HD Anamorphic 1080 (1.333) Fields: Upper field first, Audio Settings are Compressor: uncompressed Sample rates: 48000 sample/second Channels: Stereo and Sample Rates: 16 bit. If I change to DV AVI, then the whole look changes, probably because the frame size is only 720h 480v. Is there a way to export to DV AVI and keep the larger frame size?
I wanted to keep the original size, so I just tried to render part 2 and part 3 as is and had no problem, but now the audio skips. I have a wav file on part 3 and part 2 has the converted avi audio that came with the clips. Please help, any suggestions will be most appreciated. I can't start all over...I'm burnt.

Thank you for your promptness...I am still a little confused though, I made a copy of my final movie and was working off the copy to try all these different scenerios to get it to render and now have alot of different projects, same movie, different project names. Should I delete all the copies and take my original and go to Edit/Preferences/Media Cache and clear the media cache. Then the timeline menu and delete render files and then go to the FAQ's to troubleshoot.
A quick second question: I did get to render two parts of the whole movie, but the audio is skipping. Can that be fixed and can I use it?

Unable to Export Error Message

I get the following error message when trying to export a file from LR 4.1 using Windows 7:
Unable to Export:
An internal error has occurred: Win32 API error 2 ("The system cannot find the file specified.") when calling ShellExecuteExW from AgWorkspace.shellExecute
Has anyone else had a similar problem?

Yes, many people, especially when first using Export in LR4. The problem is likely caused by the Post-Processing/After Export: field being incorrectly left blank (by LR, not by the user). Simply put a valid action in that box, e.g. "Do Nothing" is fine, and the problem should go away.

IMovie 08 Export Error Message

I am trying to export from iMovie 08 without any success. I repeatedly get the same error message, but cannot find any reference to the error number anywhere. The error code is -2000. Here is the process that gets me there.
Import video from Canon Vixia HF m31 AVCHD camcorder to iMovie 08. Video was shot as PF30 (wrapped in 60i in-camera). Imported as "FULL". Trimmed a few seconds from the beginning and end. Share to "Export using Quicktime". Settings in Quicktime:
Compression: h.264
Frame Rate: Current
Key Frame: 24
Frame Reordering: YES
Compressor Quality: High
Encoding: Best (Multi-Pass)
Data Rate: Automatic
Size: 1280x720HD
Prepare for Internet Streaming: Fast Start
Am I doing anything wrong with any of these settings? The movie does start to encode, but about 1/2 way thru I get the error message. Does anyone have any idea what that error code means?
My export destination is Internet streaming, preferably at 720p for nice full-screen viewing.
Other tools I already have: iMovie HD, JES Deinterlacer, MPEG Streamclip, Quicktime 7.6.6

Ok, I came back to document the solution in case anyone else ever has the problem.
After 2 hours on the phone with Apple, it was determined that my Home>Movies folder was corrupted. Prior to that, we deleted preferences, caches, tried encoding the movie under a separate account on the same computer (worked fine there!), and a bunch of other things. It finally worked after we shut down iMovie, renamed the Home>Movies folder to Movies.old, reopened iMovie which created a new Movies folder, re-imported the footage, created a new project, and then exported.

Exporting Error Message (-12348)

Hi, does anyone knows what is the problem with the export function?
I keep getting this:
The share operation "Master File" has failed.
The operation could not be completed because an error occurred while exporting (error -12348).
Can anyone tell me the problem? I tried googling for the error code but nothing pops up..

As in "Nothing has worked."
I click the "share" button, click "master file (default)", the normal screen comes up where you can review the settings, I click next, it lets me choose where I want to export the file to, I choose desktop, I click save, and a second later I get a "shared failed" at the top right of my screen.
When I click "details" I got the same message as Ken
The share operation "Master File" has failed.
The operation could not be completed because an error occurred while exporting (error -12348).

4.4 update for LR4 creates export error message

I just downloaded the 4.4 update for LR4. When I went to export my photos, I got the error message: Unable to Export! An internal error has occurred: Export WIN 32 API Error 2 (The system cannot find the specified file). Can anyone help me out with this?

In the Post-Processing > After Export pop-up at the bottom of the Export dialog, select something. It doesn't like being blank.

COBRAS Export error message

I am importing users to CUC 8.6 from Unity 7. I used COBRAS to export and using COBRAS to import. I have moved 200+ users and I am getting the following error message on one user.
"The extension number conflicts with an existing object in the selected partition on the target voice mail server."
Where is the conflict?

I would download CUDLI http://www.ciscounitytools.com/Applications/CxN/CUDLI/CUDLI.html and there is a feature where you can search the entire database for a specific value. Enter in the extension of this user and see what table(s) may already be using this extension.

Export-Error Message EXP-00003

Dear List
I'm using Oracle 9.2.0.5 on Windows.
Seventeen Tables in the schema have Spatial-Columns (MDSYS.SDO_GEOMETRY).
I try to export the schema.
For 2 tables the Exp-program gives the error message EXP-00003.
When I set all spatial-values in these tables to null by an UPDATE-Statement the Export-Error still occures.
When I drop the spatial-column and then reintroduce it the Export-error disappears.
The error comes back, after filling the spatial-column with data again.
Documentation says:
EXP-00003 no storage definition found for segment(number, number)
Cause: Export could not find the storage definitions for a cluster, index, or table.
Action: Record the accompanying messages and report this as an Export internal error to Oracle Customer Support.
Any suggestions?

You could be using a older version (9.2.0.4) of the export utility.
Check note 274076.1 on metalink for details.

EXPORT ERROR MESSAGE ON QT

I am using Premiere 6.5 for editing. On exporting anything longer than 15 minutes I get a message saying error 90-100% complete. I am using QT 7.04. I went back to QT 6.5 and I can now export any length of footage from the timeline.
Mystery ! Any ideas.I have had this problem on three macs including a mac mini.

Yes, it is creating the primary export file. It is actually loading the data... We are receiving the error message detailed in the original post and it is not creating the a, b, or c file. We have not modified any of the Action script code. The action script is the same between a functioning and non-functioning application.

System copy export - error message unable to extend temp segment PSAPTEMP

I am performing an export of ECC ABAP+java instance and during the export of the source system I get the following error during the ABAP export:
ORA-01652: unable to extend temp segment by 128 in tablespace PSAPTEMP
ORA-27072: File I/O error
What do I need to do with this error? I have extended the tablespace via brtools but still getting the error.
Is this because I did not select the shutdown instance during the export? or do I need to do something more via brtools to the PSAPTEMP tablesapce?
I am running on Oracle 10.2.0.2. unix

As i already said .. this was the temp space that i needed in a sorted exported with many parallel exports (splitted packages and splitted tables). The system that i have migrated was round about 3 TB and we need to do it very fast.. so i needed the temporary space for the many parallel actions... but this should not be the "normal" case if you have no specific values.

I have extended it manually (over sqlplus) .. i have monitored it in my test cases with the view V$TEMPSEG_USAGE and increased it if necessary.

No, in my case i have exported and imported it at the same time (distribution monitor) so there was no need to drop it after the export, because i have build up a new target database. But under normal conditions you would only drop the tempfiles after your work has been done. This is possible with Oracle 10g (with some restrictions).

Restrictions on Dropping Files To drop a datafile or tempfile, the datafile or tempfile:
- Must be empty.
- Cannot be the first file that was created in the tablespace. In such cases, drop the tablespace instead.
- Cannot be in a read-only tablespace.

Failed to export error message

I've been trying to convert a pdf to an excel document. I have received the "failed to export" message multiple times through Adobe Reader and also directly to the website. What is going wrong? My file is 29 mb scanned.

Video will not export error message

I am unable to export any video's and when I try this error comes up:
The operation couldn't be completed
(com.apple.compressor.compressorkit.errordomain error - 1.)
Everything is updated, I just bought FCP last week so it should be updated. and there is no update option in the App Store.

If not, go to home/Library/Application Support and find the Compressor folder and trash it. See if that does it for you.
