EDMS: 'Missing authorization for this functionality' when searching user

Hi,
I've activated ALC authorization for DMS. In EDMS, when trying to add an user to a DIR with search function an error occurres as below.
'Missing authorization for this functionality'
BTW, the user has contains SAP_ALL profile. It can't be any authorization reasons.

authorization checks will not happen if the search help from sap-gui.I
think the problem is releted to missing implementation of "check
function module" from your side. If the search help is linked to a
"master data table" (type A) a check function must be implemented to
check the permission of the user.

No authorization for this action when startin ESR in PI

Hi,
We try to set up our authorizations correctly in PI, but when I try to start the ESR of PI I get the message 'No authorization for this action'. My user has the administrator role, developer role en configurator role.
In the log I see I got logged on correctly.
Anyone any idea what the reason might be for this problem? Or is there a way to trace the autorizations onthe JAVA stack?

You could also try the following:
Clear the Java Web Start cache
Java Web Start > File > Preferences > Advanced > Clear Folder
Restore the Java Web Start archives:
http://<server>:<port>/dir/start/index.jsp > Administration > Repository/Directory tab
-> Java Web Start Administration -> Restore Archives
If this fails you could try applying the latest patches for the XI components:
XIAF, XIAFC, XITOOL, XIGUI, MESSAGING

I am getting the error message(M7120) "You have no authorization for this transaction in plant XXXX" when performing 101 movement for production order using MIGO.
/nsu53 doesn't return any object. Why?

It is a standard message. SU53 should show the exact authorization object which has been blocked. Or you can also try to check this with T code ST01.

Missing authorizations for authorization object UIU_COMP

I have generated the pfcg role for a business role using report CRMD_UI_ROLE_PREPARE and assigned the pfcg role to a user.
The user is apparently able to perform navigation as required. However, when a ST01 trace is run for the user, there are few missing authorizations for UIU_COMP. Could anyone please explain the reason for this? No changes have been made to object UIU_COMP i.e. only values generated by the report is present there. Should the missing authorizations be added manually to the role?

I would recomend that you define for component UIU_COMP in your pfcg role full access (all set to *), because this authorization object is used for access to web ui components. Even thou if you define this object to full access users will still see just components defined in business role.

When running CK40N, I found an error message Missing authorization for BOM (SAP Error: CK-581).

Hello,
While doing Costing run CK40N or Cost estimate CK11N, you require having authorization of T. Code CS03 for the plant in your SAP ID as it explodes BOM.
Kindly contact basis team & take the authorization on your SAP ID.

You will have to find a new hosting service for your galleries, when MM is gone; but you will still be able to create the galleries with Aperture. Export them to your disk and upload them via FTP to your new hosting service.

are you certain, 100% positive, and absolutely sure you have a bean item with above implementation class in your form? I'd double check that...
JInit and IE8? I am not 100% sure, but I am almost certain that this combination didn't work at all. And please don't tell us you used that stupid hack where you replace the jvm.dll of JInit with one of a current JPI installation.
The Oracle Versions you have in place are rather ancient as well, you really should think about upgrading your database and your forms installation. As you already are on webforms moving to the current version of forms shouldn't require much changes in your forms.

Missing plugin for Quicktime but when click on install missing plugin, it says is updated. Cannot hear sound on my work sms site any longer.

On work sms text site - sound no longer is available. It indicates missing plugun for Quicktime. When clicking on the tab to install missing plugin, Firefox appears to install. Upon checking, all plugins are up to date but sound still no longer works.

The longer this thread continues, the more ancillary comments you throw in that aren't directly pertinent to your problem with your DVR software not working with Firefox 4.0. Sorry, I don't intend to continue with this discussion.
I do agree that ''something'' needs to be done better with regards to plugins for Firefox, but I do disagree with you as to whose responsibility that ''something'' is.

Missing authorization for processing condition

We are having a problem with our pricing procedure zxxx.
we created a pricing procedure and connect it to a java formula.
this formula return an error message :
" Missing authorization for processing condition zxxx "
in debug we see that this message come from the formula and not some kind of authorization check.
( even a user with "sap all" get this message ).
does any one know how to solve this?

does any one know how to debug the java formula ?

My sd consultant is authorized to execute VLO2N Tcode. But it is giving the error as follows

When i try to do the same thing through BASIS ,it gives no error..

Then Click Autherization Button --> then Click Change Autherisation(pencil)
Go and Click or Drill down the Material Management : Inventry Management

Click --> Movement type (Inventry Management) Press F4 --> u can choose ur valid type

Has anyone seen this error:

The strange thing is that when I assign user with a different Personnel Number and it works just fine. But when I switched back to his Personnel Number, then I get above error.
Even though I don't get any order list but I got all notifications and technical objects.
Also, this user has same roles with everyone else. While everyone is working fine this user is the only one that getting the error and no order download to PDA.

please run ther getlist and getdetail handler in the backend directly for that user - most likely you will get a better failure message there.
Nevertheless - what Application yre you using? Is it MAM? If yes, check the SPRO setup for this particular user,

Tried to reset a login keychain but got the error: Unable to obtain authorization for this operation.

There was a user account established on my computer when I bought it. I later added an admin account. I realized that I did not have the password to the original account. Using the admin account, I changed the password for the user account. I then realized that I now couldn't access the keychain. I followed the instructions to reset a login keychain. Opened Keychain Access, selected Preferences, clicked Reset Login Keychain, typed the new password I'd created for the account but received the following error. Unable to obtain authorization for this operation. I cannot find a user/library/keychain folder so I can't delete the user keychain file. How can I reset the keychain?

You may have just purchased the game, but the developers obviously haven't kept up to date with the requirements for newer versions of the Mac OS.
You have three options, depending on how old your Mac is.
1) If it were ever able to boot directly to Snow Leopard, you could create a separate partition and install SL onto that partition. Make sure to turn on the option during the installation to install Rosetta. That is OS X's PPC emulator.
