Effects seen in this video

Soccer Tricks by Manchester FC - GoPro - YouTube
How can I achieve this kind of effects?

This is nothing more than a practical side lighting effect with some good color grading. Very difficult to recreate if you don't have almost exactly the same look and lighting in your original video.
The first example video shows some blur on a lot of the cuts. Here's one that I happened to catch:
There's also some chromatic aberration in the shot. That and the look of the motion blur suggests that the motion and chromatic aberration could be coming from camera movement. You can also fake it by throwing in directional blur and something like Digi Effects Delirium Channel Offset.

How do I create the same title effects as in this video?
By titles I mean the ones that say Exterior Front, Exterior Back, Foyer, etc...
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TEKcasQAuaY
I don't know how to have the black bar slide in, then have the word slide in, then have both slide out.
    I'm totally new at Premiere.

It didn't appear that the words were sliding in. Rather, they were being wiped on.
Information on using the Titler is here.
Since you're new to Premiere Pro, you should begin at the beginning and work through the basic learning materials for Premiere Pro.

  • What are the video effects used in this video

I was just wondering if anybody could help me. I was intrigued to find out what kind of video effect is used in this video at 0:16 - 0:18 and if theres a name for this type of video and editing used throughout the video such as the continous stream of different videos etc.

Do you mean the distorted lips or the bad tv reception.
The distorted lips can be anything from Bulge to Mesh Warp to Liquefy.
The bad TV reception can be started with the Bad TV Effects Presets that comes with AE. You can modify or edit these as you like.
I know of no specific style name that goes along with any part of this video other than lazy. It looks like nobody had an idea of what they wanted to do so they just shot a bunch of stuff and threw every effect they had in their bag of tricks at the project. Turn off the sound and it's impossible to tell what it is about. I don't mean to be critical but there's not much original here that I haven't seen a zillion times going back to the Video Toaster days. (probably before you were born). It's nothing more than a bunch of quick cuts and jitter.
Load up about 100 layers, trim them do different lengths from 5 to 30 frames, Select half of them, apply Bad TV1 to that bunch, Apply Bad TV2 to the another 10 random layers. Add tint, bulge, to a few more. set a couple of position and rotate keyframes to a few more then add wiggle to those, then use the Keyframe Assistant to sequence the layers and you'll be pretty close. It should take you about 15 minutes.
If you've got a specific question about how they made this jitter or how they made time stutter ask away. If used to tell a story these techniques are all useful. If you just want to create a jarring montage then follow my suggestion in the previous paragraph then run Brainstorm a couple of times.

  • How to do the effects used in this video?

    Hi,
I'm curious as to how to do these effects in this video:
Childish Gambino Type Beat - Inhale Ft. Drake - YouTube
Mainly I'm looking for the colors, but knowing how to do the scratches would be nice too.
    Any information is greatly appreciated

Typical film damage effects. You can purchase footage to overlay or you can fake it with blurred shape layers and blend modes.
Scratches are also just film damage effects. There are a ton of tutorials and a bunch of stock film damage clips you can purchase.

  • 3d  effect seen in music videos

I do not own shake but i would like to know if it is the shake software used in music videos where the subject freezes and the camera rotates giving a 3d effect. I have seen it on bon jovi's it's my life and rascal flatts these days.
If anyone could give me some insight on how this effect is done please let me know.
    thanx

More importantly, Shake won't invent pixel data that wasn't there to begin with. Shake's strength is in compositing - taking multiple sources of video and grahics and blending them into one seamless piece. But it doesn't specialize in creating those elements. For that, you need to use in camera effects, a 3d modeling/animation program, or Photoshop.
Shake is a complex program with a steep learning curve. Not to sound snotty, but if it's a tool you really need in your workflow, you'll already know what it does and why you want to use it. Of course, there's no harm in checking it out to learn and explore it.

  • How to do these effects in this video

Hi, I've been trying to emulate some of the effects found in this video using final cut pro and after effects. Many of them though are difficult to accomplish. I was wondering if anyone had any tips.

Pretty much I'm working with lots of still images and trying to make an interesting video. Any help would be appreciated!

I don't know the guy but the promo had the feel of a canned set of effects. Lots of event and wedding photographers buy canned transitions. Try google for "Effects for Apple Motion." There are many suppliers. Of course, he may have been using any of several image assembly platforms that cater to that niche like Vegas or Casablanca.

  • What audio effect is used in this video?

    Hi,
I'm trying to figure out how to achieve the audio effect used at the 9:00 mark in this video without recording it. I don't debate that I should be figuring this out myself, but I thought someone might be able to save me a bit of time.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=axxaEbp2ZkU
If you think you know how to do it, I would appreciate you letting me know.
    Thanks

sounds like the same audio effect in most of the video. Try a really meaty analog wave and run it through some grungy effects. They are also applying some kind of wah wah to it....almost.

  • Wanna know what kind of effect that used on this video?

wanna know what kind of effect that used in transformation in this video or can we  just crop the effect .

That transformation is a result of careful planning, 3-D modeling, and layering. It is not just an effect. 3-D tracking, camera tracking, match moving, rotoscope, keying, and other effects can be used to create this kind of transformation. Without careful preproduction planning this kind of a shot/effect is nearly impossible.
If you already knew that then what part of the transformation is giving you troubl?

  • How can i create this videos effect ?

Hello, i am new here, and i have a project in my hand. I have to create a slideshow presentation on certain subject.   I have completed the slideshow using a tool called,PhotoStage Slideshow Producer, with a bunch of 60 images. Now i want to add a small video effect in the beginning of the slideshow to make it look more professional. Here is the download link for the video. http://www.mediafire.com/download/i5az6a7rjp3lbkn/Video.rar This video is farely advanced for my liking, but you got the general message. I want something really simple and i want to add it in between different images for some effect. I may be asking in the wrong forum, again. Can Adobe’s Premiere Pro do it , or is there some other simple program that can make these kind of effect. Thank you.

Might be able to create it with Filter > Render > Clouds with your foreground and background colors set to the lighter and darker versions of your selected color. Then you might need to use Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur to smooth things out

  • Which effects were used in this video?

In the link below does any one know which effects were used. I am creating a video but I would like to recreate some of these effects, specifically the two videos over lapping with transparency, the fast reverse clips, and any other you can see from the video would be helpful.  Thanks!
KNITZ Fall 2014 - For Love & Lemons | Facebook

Overlapping with transparency is simple enough. Just put on video on track one and the other on track two. Then set the track two video to 50% opacity and adjust to taste. You will probably spend some time changing the position of one or both of the videos.
Shooting on green screen makes it easier to overlap videos though. Or, if not a chroma key color, at least a solid color.
Reversing a video is a simple matter of changing the speed to a negative number.
There really isn't anything too complicated in that video as far as I can tell. A lot of cropping and masking and transparency.  Not much else.

  • Interesting distortion/pixellation effect used in fashion video?

    Hello forum!
I recently came across a very interesting visual effect in this video by Barnaby Roper, specifically the patterned block distortion that occurs at 1:32, and all the different variations of it throughout the entire video..
also a similiar effect used at :35 of this video:
judging by some of the simpler sections, it seems like a lot of it is just layering/masking, but during the heavier sections it seems like it would be a little impractical to do it all manually?  is there anyone who might have an idea of what techniques are being employed here?
Thanks for reading this!  Looking forward to hear any replies

That's simply Time Displacement with suitable displacment maps. In case of the slit scan effect, juts a simple gradient...

  • Adobe After Effects CS6: Learn by Video

NOTE: This question is directed to Todd Kopriva.
    Hi Todd,
I figured this is a good way to get in contact with you, seeing how you are quite active in this forum.
This is regarding to the Adobe After Effects CS6: Learn by Video that you were a part of with Angie Taylor.
I have encountered a problem opening the .aep files in the "Project_Files" folder, I was prompted with the following error message "After Effects warning: 9 files are missing since you last saved this project."
When I try finding the missing images, it is not found in the folder or disc. Due to this problem, I cannot make full use of the video lessons.
I was wondering if you still have the images to the files in this video, and if so, would you kindly send it my way? I would be very grateful of your help.
    Thank you!
