Eft on BI Publisher

Question

Hi All
Please help! Im faced with a situation where I have to develop an eft template for a Bank System (FNB South Africa - CAMS). Previously I worked on Rel 11 which is different. How do I convert my PL/SQL Package to an XML Data Set (not sure with my terminology here). and can someone point me to a much more easier document other than BI Publisher user guide.

Hi,
Possibly the easiest option if all your logic is correct in your pl/sql program is just to insert the required XML tags in manually rather than the delimited or fixed output.
Say your current program is calling:
out(check_number||','||bank_account_num||','||supplier_num);
Just change to
out('<check_number>'||check_number||'</check_number>' ||
<bank_account_num'||bank_account_num||'</bank_account_num>' ||
<supplier_num>'||supplier_num||'</supplier_num>');
or rework your sql statement to use xmlelement, xmlattribute functions.
